5521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💩 We are now in the “shitcoin” season? 💩 on: November 28, 2019, 03:07:33 PM
You're frustrated. Things will change sooner in 2020 just hold and defenetly find profit. If you're just living your life with bitcoin then it's difficult and get frustrated. You should have alternate job so that can manage things. If your just depending on bitcoin to get pumps you will be depressed. May be in 2020 will be a good year for those who are all holding bitcoin. For those who are frustrated yes it's a shitcoin season.

The OP was more concerned about the altcoins. We are not much bothered about Bitcoin, because we are certain that it will go up at some point of time in the future. But the same can't be said about many of the altcoins and the investors are starting to run out of patience. Also, altcoins have gone down even more than Bitcoin, and therefore the pressure is greater on those who made the choice of investing in the alts.
5522  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxless society idea on: November 28, 2019, 02:55:44 PM
A taxless society is only possible if we expect no spending from the government. Also, all the government employees need to be volunteers (including administrators, policemen, soldiers, teachers.etc). And do you think that it is practical? It is possible to eradicate income tax and take care of the government expenses using the indirect taxes (GST, VAT.etc). But at present, I don't think that it is possible to eliminate all types of tax.
5523  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin demand in economically volatile countries surges on: November 28, 2019, 02:47:13 PM
People who see the news as the increase/decrease in prices of BTC and alt may say so.
Actually the news just utilized to manipulate the price.
The last news that I heard yesterday was the Gopax exchange in a hack worth 51.2 million $, should it be bad news, but the market shows the opposite reaction.

Are you sure about the exchange? From what I heard, it was the South Korean exchange Upbit, which got hacked. Some $53 million worth of Ethereum were stolen, along with considerable amounts of TRX and BTT. But the hack occurred two days back, and if you remember there was a considerable decline in the exchange rates back then. The prices started recovering only today.
5524  Economy / Economics / Re: You want to get rich, don’t pay taxes, don’t get married, don’t use bank, and... on: November 28, 2019, 02:41:11 PM
But in reality marriage can change a person's destiny for the better and does not have to be explained in detail because in my opinion many people have changed and become rich after marriage on the grounds that wealth has been arranged and full support and prayer from the couple when doing business or whatever and giving enthusiasm to keep trying and trying to realize their desires.
because there is a saying behind a man's success because there is a good woman behind him.

From what I have seen, I would say that in most cases that is not true. Here in India, until a few decades ago things used to be like that. Married men used to be happy and marriage discords and divorces used to be a rarity. But things have changed now. With the expansion of radical feminism, many of the marriages are ending up in separation or divorce and the husband is left penniless and broke.

But then, it is a very difficult choice. Unmarried couples are not welcome in India (at least in most of the cities). So in case you want a stable relationship, you have no option other than marriage.
5525  Economy / Economics / Re: Does China Control Bitcoin? on: November 28, 2019, 02:33:21 PM
Purely theoretically, China can take control of bitcoin, as He is one of the leaders in Bitcoin mining. But I do not think that he will do this, now China is more interested in creating its own crypt, which will be 100% under its control. https://neironix.io/news/china_plans_release_national_dcrp

China cant take control of bitcoin no one can!  That is the beauty of the network.  Can someone theoretically 51% it yeah, but the economic incentive is not there to 51% it.  How do peoe think that a single government entity can take over bitcoin...I dont think you understand how bitcoin runs.

Economically it may not make much sense. But from a government point of view, it can make a lot of sense. They can spend a few billion USD and destroy the credibility and reputation of Bitcoin forever. But spending such a huge amount of money from this purpose can never be defended before the public, unless they can prove a credible link between either crime or terrorism with Bitcoin. Well... they will never get such a link, because it does not exist.
5526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 28, 2019, 02:26:03 PM
As a result, talented players from the smaller boards such as South Africa, West Indies, Ireland and Pakistan started dumping their own associations to play for the big three teams (+ New Zealand). And a decade later, we are left with three major cricketing nations and 9 test playing minnows.
If the players find it attractive to migrate to other countries and if there is a less talent pool then they will find opportunities to play in the team, in the past Australia was dominating the sports and now England and India have risen their playing standards and so is the reason there is a competition and for any sport to become successful you need people spending money to watch the sport and if that is not happening how can they expect to get more payment.

Some of the West Indian players (Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell.etc) are among the most paid cricket players in the world. But the problem is that these players get most of their salaries from the T20 franchises and not from the cricket boards. In football also we can witness the same situation, but there international matches have lost all the relevance. It is the football clubs which reign supreme in football. Do we want such a situation with cricket as well? T20 format has given too much power to the franchises.
5527  Economy / Economics / Re: Does halving really create deflation? on: November 28, 2019, 01:14:32 PM
I didnt think that halving affects the bitcoin nor market value, years ago as we can observe, the effect of halving makes the price of bitcoin increase, so when it happens, we can see that bitcoin can make ATH or atlease the price will goes up, we can possibly think that by next year it could be a good year in bitcoin.

Halving can have some impact, but I am afraid that this time the impact will be more limited when compared to the previous two events. The first thing to consider is that the prices have already jumped by almost 200% so far this year, probably in anticipation for the upcoming halving event. And secondly, the ratio of annual mining output to the total circulating supply will be much lower this time.
5528  Economy / Economics / Re: You want to get rich, don’t pay taxes, don’t get married, don’t use bank, and... on: November 28, 2019, 01:00:02 PM
in the beliefs that I profess, but this is a fact and some evidence from my friends, they became rich after marriage, though not all. he pays taxes, uses banks and investments too but he is rich, you are pessimistic and it will be difficult to become rich.

How did they became rich? There can be several ways to become rich. So unless you give the details, it is difficult to reach a conclusion. And also, there is a chance that marriage played no role in them becoming rich. What if this particular individual became rich as a result of his own effort, rather than any help, support or inspiration from his spouse or the relatives of the spouse?
5529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Super League (ISL) Football match updates, predictions and discussions on: November 28, 2019, 12:54:03 PM
The 5th round is over and as of now ATK and Jamshedpur with 10 points each are leading the table. The NorthEast United FC had a golden chance of topping the table, but they couldn't win the match against Mumbai City despite scoring the first goal. They conceded two goals in the first half, followed by a lacklustre performance in the second half.
5530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 28, 2019, 12:48:20 PM
It is good to see Samson being included in the squad. But it will create a negative atmosphere if people like Shashi Tharoor and Sreesanth comes out in support for him. Because then the critics will argue that they are supporting Samson just because he hails from Kerala. In reality, Samson doesn't need the support of these people. He can qualify to the team on his own merit.
Why there is a lot of support for this player, is he in great form and playing really well in domestic cricket to have this much hype, it is disspointing to get selected in the team and never play a game and not get selected again and if he is still keep on performing well in the domestic level then he will be in the team without a doubt, i remember him playing in the IPL but do not remember any special innings he played to have a hype like this .

His performance was above average during the last two IPL seasons, but as of now he is not the first choice keeper to replace Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The selectors and the captain favors Rishabh Pant for that slot. Only if Samson can prove that his keeping and batting is better than Pant, he will be able to find a permanent slot in the Indian squad.

Well Afghanistan didn't disappoint me at all, was counting on them...

53/1 followed by sweet collapse 109/7 , one need special talent to perform like that and Afghanistan is Champion in this regard. some how they forget its test match.

It was expected from Afghanistan, but still disappointing. Remember that this is a home match for the Afghans and the West Indies is not fielding a full strength squad. I used to believe that Afghanistan is one of the emerging teams in world cricket. But the results show that they are not yet ready to face the original test nations, at least in the test format.
5532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A coin that solves a problem won't die on: November 27, 2019, 03:51:25 PM
Poor business management can make even the most valued asset fall in value. Utility does not sustain a token price, the project must be managed effectively to compete with others. There has to be continuous development of such project to make it relevant always.

The term "continuous development" has become a rarity in the current market. Very few of the projects have managed to honor the previously decided timelines. In many of the cases, the promoters vanished as soon as they could dump their tokens. And the most tragic thing is that this included many of the promising projects which came online during 2017 and 2018.
5533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💩 We are now in the “shitcoin” season? 💩 on: November 27, 2019, 03:45:19 PM
Crypto market is not really having good time. Investors are having some down moment. But i believe 2020 will be a great year for cryptocurrencies; likewise the investors as well. The joy of Blockchain is that as the day goes by, it keep going viral.

Things are not going as per the expected lines in the cryptocurrency market. Despite a number of positive outcomes, the total cryptocurrency market capitalization has gone down by more than 30% during the past few weeks. I am not sure about what will happen in 2020, but so far this year it prove to be very disappointing for the cryptocurrency users.
5534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $35 million worth of ETH for a ridiculous $0.07 transfer fee? on: November 27, 2019, 03:30:42 PM
For publicity purposes... such news can be good. But for the ordinary user, it is of hardly any use. The vast majority of the cryptocurrency users move less than $100 worth of coins at a time. For them, this feature will not be useful. What the average user wants is a stable low fees, compared to the highly volatile system we have right now. And this is applicable to all the cryptocurrencies.
5535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: November 27, 2019, 03:19:07 PM
Is hacker fault 90%, 8% your fault because not take all measures to secure account and connect to it only from self place and 2% exchange fault because let hacker login from new IP if this happened when hack occured.

I would say that it is 50/50. At least half of the blame should be directed at you. Very few users who had enabled all the security features such as 2FA and phone authentication had their wallets hacked. Most of the time, these incidents involved those users who were either careless or too lazy to enable these basic security measures. And in case your funds are stolen from the exchanges, then 100% of the blame is on you. Exchanges are not meant for storing cryptocurrencies. They are only for trading.
5536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Upbit exchange was hacked. 342,000 ETH lost on: November 27, 2019, 03:09:42 PM
I wonder, why Korean exchanges are often hacked? And this incident triggers the fall of all crypto prices on the market. I hope the exchange can solve this problem immediately and not harming their users, because the 342k ETH that was stolen was worth 48.6 million dollars and this is a bad incident at the end of the year for the crypto industry.

It is not just the Korean exchanges. Those based in East Asia (including Japan, China and Hong Kong) seems to be very vulnerable to hacking. The recent hacks involved exchanges from this region, including Bitrue (Singapore), Binance (China), Bithumb (South Korea), Coinmama and Bithumb. There are rumors that hackers employed by the North Korean regime are involved... but there is no concrete proof for this.
5537  Economy / Economics / Re: Does halving really create deflation? on: November 27, 2019, 02:44:16 PM
The halving means less inflation. There's deffo no deflation on the cards.

This one will be a biggie because the inflation will fall below 2% which is often the figure of a decently managed normal economy.

When you think of the absolute tidal wave of new coins that were arriving yet still the price had some powerful rises and how much better and bigger the platforms are now it could make for a powerful scenario.

Thanks for defining it clearly. But still it is surprising to see the prices going down so steeply, with the next block reward halving only a few months away. The user base is increasing at a good pace, and with inflation at such low levels, ideally we should be witnessing a sharp jump in the exchange rates. But quite the opposite is happening right now.
5538  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you use cryptocurrencies in your daily life? Are they useful? on: November 27, 2019, 02:05:15 PM
Here in India, it is very difficult to use cryptocurrencies in daily life, due to legal complexities and lack of options. And in my case, I am residing in a small town and here hardly anyone is knowledgeable about Bitcoin. So in order to spend my coins, I need to convert them to fiat cash first (through various peer-to-peer mediums, as exchanges are not available in India).
That is not the case with India alone. As far as I know, even the biggest countries of the world have not legalized bitcoin and only few companies all over the world give option to purchase stuff in bitcoin. So just give some time before decentralized crypto currencies go mainstream. At present, it is more important to grab these coins instead of utilizing them. After all, it is profit that has brought investors here.

Well.. I would agree.. but the situation in India is much more difficult when compared to the other countries. Although Bitcoin is not explicitly banned here, there are a lot of difficulties in trading and owning Bitcoins. Bank accounts are not permitted to be used for Bitcoin-related activities and all the local exchanges were forced to close down their operations.
5539  Economy / Economics / Re: Millennial generation are screwed! on: November 27, 2019, 01:59:46 PM
Its true it seems that millennials is less educated and probably the worst generation where even in social media their post are annoying they're main concern in life is sex, drugs and alcohol. They spend more time in online games, burning their money doing meth & alcohol and social media than spending more time in productive skill development or investing their futures into something like crypto.

It will be wrong to label an entire demographic group like this. Although I would agree with some parts of your post, I have to say that many of the millennials are even more skillful than the older age groups. I am working in the IT industry and many of the millennials who have recently joined my company are very knowledgeable in coding and programming.

I did not notice that a match is going on, was waiting for the next England New Zealand match which is the only entertaining contest in the coming weeks, the rest will be mainly one sided and boring.

Are you really surprised by this? The death bell for cricket was rung when the big three countries (led by N Srinivasan, Giles Clarke and Wally Edwards) came up with the new financial model. The richer nations got even richer and the poor boards lost a large part of their revenue. As a result, talented players from the smaller boards such as South Africa, West Indies, Ireland and Pakistan started dumping their own associations to play for the big three teams (+ New Zealand). And a decade later, we are left with three major cricketing nations and 9 test playing minnows.
