5541  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will reach an astronomical all-time new high. on: May 12, 2020, 03:29:28 PM
Just kidding. Of course, this is speculation. So I speculate that astronomical ATH means that we will all see another 10x of current halving price, (1st halving = 100x, 2nd = 30x, according to your numbers, so let's be generous and make this the last halving to see double-digit multiples).

With the price as of halving jogging around $8k to 8.6k, 10x gives a price prediction of within the price range of $80,000 to $90,000, it makes sense now. I'm beginning to understand why the prediction of bitcoin getting to $100,000 is been predicted all over the media, by the big names in the game. For bitcoin to record that massive increase in price though, I'm quite sure it won't be a one way movement like that of 2017 that just spiked all the way up to approximately $20,000 and immediately started retracing backwards.

The market will need a steady and healthy growth to maintain bitcoin trading for a long time at that level. It'll be disappointing if another 2017 all time high scenario repeat itself where bitcoin just touched a certain price and never did trade for sometime on that price.
5542  Economy / Speculation / Re: Major dump started like 5 minutes ago on: May 12, 2020, 05:08:22 AM
I hate it when altcoins are affected even more than bitcoin, why would altcoins be affected this much when bitcoin is already recovering. I mean look at bitcoin right now, it is already around 9k once again, if the bitcoin price is going that much why would altcoins not recover as well? They should recover in all sense and purposes.

The reality is that, bitcoin detect the market and others follow, the moment we begin to understand that, our investment decision will be well calculated and there won't be a need for complains when the market react in the manner it just side. Many investors still haven't accepted this fact. The altcoins market has a lot to do with hype and marketing technique that's why only project that has that in them do well (but obviously for a short period of time, that's why they record profits occasionally). The news of recent has been all about bitcoin, therefore you don't expect the altcoins (on a general note) to benefit that much).

Even though your alts gained value hardly before that gain will be in satoshi instead it'll be in the USD value. So what's the point of buying the alts, wouldn't it had been better your held your bitcoin instead?. It isn't a clever decision to get alts during the halving period of bitcoin just as the market has exposed. Be cautious next time.
5543  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pure btc speculation post on: May 12, 2020, 04:54:14 AM
I early predicted a dump and still standby it just like most other community members assumed judging from their comments so far from other price speculation threads. Never thought the corrections will come few days prior to the halving, but like other I too assumed it'll come after the halving has ended successfully. The last correction has taken out some fudders so the market is unlikely to dump harder like I earlier expected but that doesn't mean it won't get some correction coming it way.

FOMO contributes majority to the previous upward thread of bitcoin and that means, when that dies off the corrections will follow and this might happen in couple of days from now or maybe the next minute (as the market always has a way of surprising us either with impressive price gain or decline).
5544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to be invested in Crypto while staying away from gambling? on: May 12, 2020, 04:45:05 AM
Anyone feel similar?

How do you combat the urge to gamble with your cryptocurrency?

I don't and that's because I intentionally decided not to get distracted by gambling although not trying to say it's bad as I do gamble on few occasion (controllably). Whatever the case may by, I still find a way to remind myself of the reason I got into the industry and the goals I intend achieving. The only distractions I haven't been able to combat is the urge to invest my coins in altcoins probably because most of them I did were profitable especially my early investment so mind although I'm beginning to experience so losses as my timing aren't always favoring me but hopefully I'll work on that.

OP, you just have to get yourself together, probably allocate some fund just for your gambling amusement an top up that wallet regularly that's to say, have a separate account for your investment and that for your pleasure. It'll go a long way in you having control.
5545  Economy / Reputation / Re: How long has it been a cause of negative trust to support one of the forum? on: May 11, 2020, 11:24:21 AM
I am happy to see the problem is resolved by @CryptopreneurBrainboss a good way.
And I recommend also that all bounty manager one thing. I think fair bounty managers should never add anyone to their trust list in order not to face such problems. Or they should check at least 2 times before making a decision.

I'll advice you to lock this thread now to avoid unnecessary discussion that aren't relevant since the problem has been resolved or avoid tagging me since I get notified the moment I get tagged. Mind you, irrespective of me been a manager I'm also a regular forum member (an active one for that matter) and I have obligation to contribute to the trust system irrespective of it not been perfect. We'll get there though.

I don't have Lauda on my custom trust list although that doesn't mean I don't agree with all her feedback, she have quite a decent number of them that are very accurate, probably one of the users in my custom trust list trusted Lauda's feedback so automatically it reflected on mine, don't know the history of you guys disagreement since I'm not that interested in most of the drama that goes on here (hardly before you see me drop a view on any of them). Some misunderstanding was experience and it got resolved without anybody getting hurt, Lets move on.
5546  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Doubt about Livecoin on: May 11, 2020, 05:28:10 AM
Yes, you can go about your normal business KYC free until you want to make deposit of fiat through banks, only then will you be mandated to carry-out a KYC verification process, atleast that's what I can remember since it's been quite long I patronage the exchange. Livecoin is one of the very few exchange that doesn't require KYC without a withdrawal limit, contact the support if you're interested in verifying your identity though as it isn't visible to the public on their site.

Hope you understand the current state of the exchange as it's been labeled a scam with different accusation online of the exchanges withholding the fund of its customer nevertheless since you said you're been forced to use the exchange, goodluck and don't forget to update us with your experience when you're done.

This was why you received the message from me

I saw the feedback on default when I access your profile. I thought it was a resolvable issue which is why I added the comment on spreadsheet. Assuming you were removed, your current spot would had be occupied and open slot for your rank would had been announced, also it would had been stated clearly on the comment section that you have been removed but that's not the case.

Sorry for the inconveniences, comment removed. You're back in.

BTW, I looked at all members of 777Coin signature profiles. 11 other members has a negative feedback in their profile also!

All inherited members from the previous manager (Respect @Hhampuz), only new cases of red trust I'm mostly interested in at the moment.

5551  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin exceed 20k this year like in 2017? on: May 10, 2020, 06:03:16 AM
As we saw in 2016, Bitcoin got its full form, and at the same time all the Crypto Markets looked like the Green Sea, do you think we will be able to see the green field just like before after Bitcoin halving this year as well. I think something better is coming for us, what do you think?BTC

Been optimistic is what keep the market alive and keeps the industry growing strongly (obviously backed with innovation and improvement) so yes like other have highlighted, there's every possible for Bitcoin to cross $20k before the end of the year but like I have previously said in other thread I commented on. The goal shouldn't just be for bitcoin to reach any targeted price but been able to maintain that uptrend momentum and continue trading above that price (in this case $20k) is what that really matters.

Few weeks/days back, people were asking if the pre-halving price can get to $10k and yes it did but no one was asking if the price can maintain that momentum and trade above $10k. Not that surprising bitcoin only touched $10k and now it's down. Bitcoin just reaching a certain price shouldn't only be our expectations because that's making it get resistance at that level as everyone would want to take profit at that targetted price making it almost impossible for bitcoin to surpass that price in the maintain.
5552  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sudden fall in bitcoin price after successful halving, Post-halving prediction. on: May 10, 2020, 05:45:31 AM
Well here is the thing. Everybody was expecting bitcoin to dump after the halving. They were pretty much using BCH and BSV halvings as examples. So they would of built up the hype, the halving would come Monday, and then tuesday huge dump. Sounds like a good plan right?

Except usually what the market expects is the opposite of what happens.

Ok so "the sound like a good plan" part, got me laughing out of control because that was exactly what I was planning for, well said. Already planned to sell anytime within today if the price can't cross the $10k price mark but as always the market was way ahead of me. The market always has a way of getting us all surprised, imagine we praising bitcoin for gaining over $1k in just 24hrs and few days later it drops over $1.5k in just minutes.

Guess those who FOMO after that impressive run in anticipation of more price increase got disappointed with the sudden paused in price then FUD step in. Nevertheless the market will be interesting to watch in the few days remaining and those traders that will be fortunate to predict the market movement almost or accurately will make some decent profit.
5553  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Compare two Cryptocurrency before Investment on: May 10, 2020, 05:30:33 AM
- Make search function instead of super big scrollable list.

Seconded this suggestion, I almost gave up scrolling through the letter D to search for a project which I intended comparing with Bitcoin. After I got my project, it took another scrolling to get Bitcoin as I mistakenly used the first bitcoin that had bitcoin on default to search for the coin which was just frustrating. Can't imagine someone wanting to compare a project with the letter starting with Y spend minutes just scrolling through the list.

PS: Love the simplicity of the website, no ad for now which isn't a distraction and hope future changes won't affect the way the page currently is that's to say, even though you intend monetizing the page in the future, please keep it decent.
5554  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Scamming or not on: May 10, 2020, 05:02:30 AM
People talking about coinbase is  scamming!! Is it true? I want to know about this topic why they are telling like this? If this type of wallet scam people then what happend!!

Coinbase is one of the most trusted exchange globally and obviously the most popular in the US. Thinking coinbase will even think about scamming its customer for few dollars and risk destroying their reputation that they spent years building is just insane. Do understand that the exchange is worth thousands of million and are capable of paying for any lost experience by its customers which is as a result of the fault of the exchange.

Since I haven't heard any rumors of what you're accusing them of, I took some time to do few research and the only scams accusation I read were related to customers getting angry with the exchange for some delay withdraw due to KYC procedures and all that. Coinbase is one of the few exchange I can vouch for but that doesn't mean you should go trusting them with storing your funds also I understand that any project can result to scam in the future but with them, it's bery unlikely especially as they're registered and not operating anonymously.
5555  Economy / Gambling / Re: My urge to go to land base casino in this lock down and how I fight it. on: May 10, 2020, 04:48:59 AM
Only offline casinos have closed. In addition, such casinos were not in every city. Now the popularity of online casinos has grown significantly. Many people are quarantined at home. They have nothing to do. That's why they spend their time gambling, watching movies, and so on.
Therefore, it is very difficult for people in this situation to overcome their addiction.

I'm just patiently waiting for the findings of statistics on gambling addict when this lockdown period is over. The numbers will just be out of this world considering we'll be having fresh new addict in addition to addicts that thought they have won the battle against gambling until the lockdown made them vulnerable again.

The method I rely on to tackle the urge to gamble isn't that different from that of the OP with addiction to few other precautions measure to tackle online casinos. The issue right now isn't about the physical casinos as the lockdown can help prevent our patronizing them but it don't have any effect on online casinos instead it encourage it the more.
5556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Enhanced restriction in gambling casinos is it possible on: May 10, 2020, 04:20:00 AM
Do you think it's possible for gambling casinos to open now with enhanced restriction and customized set up, what do you think ?

If only we understood the amount of money been lost which might take all this sporting event or business months to recover when the lockdown is finally lifted then we'll understand why suggestions like this are popping up into their head in search of alternative to get things moving as usual before the pandemic outbreak.

Initially I was off the opinion, that everything should be on hold to see how quick that'll help in fighting the pandemic but recently my mindset have changed as things aren't getting better at the rate I expected. If any business can carry-on their normal function at the same time practice social distancing then I don't see a reason why they shouldn't be allowed to do so.
5557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 09, 2020, 09:18:26 PM
A cut in the normal ninety minutes duration is something we haven't witnessed before, but if the FA include it in their precautionary measures, then I would not be surprised.

Precautionary how? If they're trying to prevent the players from getting in contact with the virus, there are better measure then this, so if a player has been playing for 70/80mins what's there that will be contacted in the remaining 20-10mins to complete the usual 90mins of played thay can't be contacted in the initial 70/80mins they played?.

Preferable, I'll say they should make all games to start very early since most part of the world are on lockdown and there isn't any much work ongoing meaning there's enough free time. Or playing all games in the afternoon hours isn't such a bad idea to prevent movement at night hours.
5558  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sudden fall in bitcoin price after successful halving, Post-halving prediction. on: May 09, 2020, 05:25:26 PM
There is a small downward trend on the prices, still I don't want to change my decision towards the halving event.I feel there will be a bump on the prices soon after the halving but post analysis are not in the favour of bullish run.

My thoughts too and the current resistance at $10,000 makes me still stand on my earlier prediction on the post-halving price. One certain thing is the price is definitely going to fall, judging from the reaction of the market so far but how far will the market fall (price range) that's where I'm still not certain as I won't want to buy into the market when I would had gotten a better deal if I had just waited a little longer.

Also if the resistance level at $10k can't be broken before halving d-day in just 2days time that's to say if the price can't get cross $10,000 then we should just brace ourselves for a massive correction then.
5559  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would you call it a success if bitcoin will stay at least $10,000 this year? on: May 09, 2020, 05:11:20 PM
Bitcoin has been very unpredictable, it has dump to its dip this year before it rally to be back at $10,000 again.

will bitcoin drop below $10,000 or will be price at least $10,000... what's your thoughts?

Ok so let take away the FOMO that's been felt currently in the community resulting to both old and new Investors getting hold of as much bitcoin as they can, anticipating for a positive pre-halving price which some must have already profited and probably expecting more profit to come due to the hype surrounding the event that can spike the price of bitcoin at any moment to new pre-halving ATH.

Also take away the FUD that's to come after the event as many investors will get disappointed and probably sell their coins to avoid more losses or take profit which will result to some downward price movement. Any user that isn't satisfied by bitcoin trading atleast $10,000 must be those that bought at the 2017 as judging based on this year record bitcoin will be in profit trading at $10,000 considering at has gone as low as $4k- previously.
5560  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can't Log-in to Binance on: May 09, 2020, 03:47:51 PM
So if we do not login our binance account they will make it inactive ?  This is strange because we have funds on the exchanges and how come they seize our account and take control of our funds. If binance does this then what is the difference between binance or any other shitty exchange ?

Just to be clear, I was only narrating my experience and the only reason I didn't confirm what you just said to be true is because I didn't investigate further as (in the first case, I had no fund in the account while the second account only had few cents). On both occasion, my account have been inactive for a very long period of time and only returned to the exchange to offload some alts I have earlier bought.

My other site 2FA were working properly but only that of Binance was been rejected. Support give me solution but I think, it did required some personal information like my face or something that I didn't want to share and also I needed to access my account urgently on both occasion to sell coins I have early bought and sent out of the exchange to store in my personal wallet.
