There is always a chance that the price would be even lower when it is closer to December 1st.

There is no doubt it is headed down. At this point you either have to be a gambler or a fool to hold securities. The smart money has already left.

Yap, it sucks for US people, but life goes on, shares are already gaining their value.

5545  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you watch the walking dead? on: October 15, 2013, 12:32:09 PM
I watch too many shows. I decided to quit after the good ending to last season. I'll keep watching Talking Dead just to keep up.

That makes two of us. Smiley

I was a gamer for a few years then I quit gaming and dedicate that time watching series and movies.

The Walking Dead is very entertaining but I feel the show is overrated, but it's the only zombie apocalypse show around...

It's really interesting what can be done where something you know really well is cast in the most ugly and unflattering light, this Propaganda! film proves it rather concerningly. Of course, it does what it says on the tin, it's a propagandised view. But it's very close to the truth of the prevalent culture and society in the West, the majority of people do fall for all this bs at least at some point of their lives, and some never figure the manipulations out. Still not moving to North Korea any time soon, though.

Just watched Propaganda!, it is not what I was expecting, I know it's a mock documentary, but I actually agree with a LOT of things in there, a lot!

And of course, it's a deliberately 100% cynical view of the West, made by a westerner. I saw an interview with the guy who made it, and he started out wondering which country he was going to pretend it was coming from: Cuba, Iran or North Korea. He reasoned that North Korea was best, as no-one can reliably prove what the North Koreans do or don't think about any of this stuff. He mostly guessed about alot of things. The writer said his next project is to try and get into to North Korea, show the film to people and then ask them if it's accurate!

He done a very nice job, I was hoping to give a few laughs but it's not one of those mock documentaries.

Can you point to the interview?

I think people in North Korea don't know about reality shows and western celebrities and much of history, but let's see if the guy gets in there and grabs some testimonies...

5558  Other / Meta / Re: Can you sell/buy bitcointalk accounts? on: October 14, 2013, 01:42:42 PM
Accounts can be sold so people can use the reputation to defraud people.  Since this forum is run as a criminal operation rather than a legitimate business this practice is allowed since no legitimate business would allow such a thing.

Milly, did you delete a bunch of your posts?

5560  Economy / Services / Re: [WTB] Your Website Ad space with my BTC! on: October 14, 2013, 01:26:34 PM
Why not use already available ad networks?

Do these ad networks use bitcoin as payments? My advertising tier also allows website owners to make more money with increased ad activity, which is an extra incentive for website owners as compared to simply a PPC model.
