-snip--
I am seeing you are doing great this year actually, I read some of your post and it's actually good and BTW, congrats you just got accepted at bustadice  Grin
Thank you so much, it can be one of the motivations that make me do much better again.
Well, I'm still learning and trying to be better member of this forum and trying to reach my expectations in the crypto world. I ever said that I was a bad poster in the past (only focus on fulfilling the criteria for bounty). And now, this is the chance for me to start working better, to be a better member ( not only a quick poster). Hopefully, I can be better again and again.
5543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government Taxing Bitcoin? Here's the Answer on: December 29, 2019, 11:58:02 PM
Taxes for Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies have become issues in some countries. This also happens in my country after there is legal protection for all digital assets, including cryptocurrencies. However, the tax for BTC is not implemented yet. This is still within the framework of the formulation and consideration.

There are always pros and cons toward the taxing for BTC if it will be implemented. If the government really want to tax the BTC, they must have the crucial reasons and must be fair for all people who have the BTC. Additionally, the regulation as the basis of the tax-decision must be clear enough, not only getting tax for the country but also considering whether the BTC holder does not mind about the amount of the tax. IN my opinion why there are still many countries that do not tax BTC is that it is quite difficult to make the mechanism, issues, and also consideration.

But, if the rule is like what OP said:
For me, the way we could still make it possible is to establish a local exchange wherein, if we convert our money to crypto, these local exchanges could already have the portion intended for the tax of each transactions.
I rather agree with this. It may be fair enough for all. But of course, consider the amount, for a fair decision.
5544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and bitcoin is Not good investment new era Next phase on: December 29, 2019, 11:27:35 PM
Crypto and bitcoin Not good investment as before
I don't think so, that BTC is not a good investment. Although this coin is volatile, BTC is still trusted for investment, moreover for a long-term investment. However, I also agree that some cryptos maybe not good for investment, they can be a way for trading to get short profits.
It is very different from the precious BTC in 2017 where the coin has very high value. I hope that after halving, BTC will have better value again.

Simply, BTC can be said as only one best crypto for investment although ETH and other cryptos may also offer high value. We can trust other coins, but it does not mean that they are very valuable.
5545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra coin alive or dead? on: December 29, 2019, 11:17:20 PM
Why you can state it is alive or dead? We know that Libra coin isn't launched yet. So, we cannot state it is dead or alive. Of course, we only can get general information about Libra in coinmarketcap because it is officially still not launched yet. Just wait for the beginning of the next year, we may have surprising news about this.
5546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Cash the real Bitcoin? on: December 29, 2019, 11:12:02 PM
I don't think so. The real Bitcoin should be the coin created by Satoshi Nakamoto. In addition, BTC still fulfills the purposes of him creating this first cryptocurrency. Although some terms may change, it is only to conform with the time flows. However, basically, the purpose and condition of BTC right now are still the same. On the other hand, Bitcoin Cash doesn't fulfill the criteria because it is not created by Satoshi. This altcoin is also a part of Bitcoin forks, but never state it is the original one. Everyone knows that Bitcoin is the real one, the original one forever.
5547  Other / Off-topic / Re: FREE MERITS!!! *Forum's New Year's resolution* on: December 29, 2019, 03:57:22 PM
OP, is that the anniversary artwork badge under your username?
Yes. It is true. Badge for the winners of 2019 art contest. If I'm not mistaken, there are five members got that badge.
5548  Other / Off-topic / Re: FREE MERITS!!! *Forum's New Year's resolution* on: December 29, 2019, 03:47:13 PM
I target to reach Full member rank soon at the beginning of 2020. And maybe higher ranks (Sr above). What I need to do: having a better quality in making posts and improve knowledge. For the next year, the minimum target is reaching Full Member and the maximum target is to become Sr Member. I think this is my reasonable hope in the next year.

5549  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2020 Bitcoin halving!!! Bull run??? on: December 29, 2019, 02:31:56 PM
After what happened to the litecoin halving this year, I Don't expect too much from bitcoin.
In fact, many people still expect about the bullrun after Bitcoin halving next year although previously, LTC halving is not as good as what we expected. However, in my opinion, BTC and LTC are quite different. BTC, most people trust this coin to pump again likely in 2017, or even more, higher.

The next bull run will come unexpectedly all you need to do is stay focused.
I also think so, I do not put my high expectations to meet bullrun in 2020. Does 2020 become the starting year for bullrun? I mean that the bullrun may not be in 2020, but a year after it. For, 2020 may be the year for market recovery again?
5550  Other / Off-topic / Re: What gifts do you want to give to your family on 2020 - WISHES - Free Merit on: December 29, 2019, 02:21:11 PM
I wish I can give tickets and all the things for my family holiday.
This year, having enough time to spend with full family and having fun with them on a holiday trip is very difficult, deeply, I couldn't do it. Hopefully, next year, I can invite all my family members to have full holidays on a popular island in my country, together.
5551  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New experience about posting behaviour on: December 28, 2019, 06:35:31 PM
I think it is about someone's habit. There are some people that only post to fulfill their tasks only, but others always post regularly even they have tasks/signature campaigns or not.

-snip- Really disappointed to share with you all that i have got couple of participants there who exactly make 25 post/week. Some of them don't make 1 extra post during participating campaign -snip-
They have not really good habits, but we cannot blame them for the signature campaign case. As long as they fulfill the minimum requirement, it means they do their jobs correctly.

Well, it is my own opinion, buddy. As a manager, you have an option to put someone on your blacklist if he/she didn't meet with your expectation. But it should be only for a vital case.
5552  Other / Meta / Re: Session timed out while posting? on: December 28, 2019, 06:17:07 PM
-snip-
It is okay if you want o write a huge wall of text which might take more than 30 minutes, even if the session timed out we will not lose our texts only thing will be asked to resubmit the post again once we get the warning.
Correct. For the safest way, I usually copied my post to notepad. So, I have a backup post and it only needs to copy-paste on a new reply space. This is one of the ways that I commonly used to prevent losing data.
5553  Other / Meta / Re: This is my story in 2019, what is your story ? on: December 28, 2019, 05:57:29 PM
The opportunity to join several signature campaign with Top and trusted manager (Hhampuz, Coolcryptovator)
In 2020, I hope you can join campaigns of yahoo62278 and DarkStar_, buddy. They are top and trusted bounty managers as well.  Smiley

About my story in 2019, I just started my journey. Not many that I can tell to you, but you know I am starting to have a better habit. As for around 2 years, I was stuck in member rank because of bad habits and don't really care about my post's quality. Now, I realize I have a chance to move on to the next level. I hope in 2020 I can reach Full member rank.  Cheesy

5555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is libra coin going to dominate the Bitcoin market? on: December 28, 2019, 05:32:28 PM
Don't dream too much about Libra. First of all, it should be launched to make it listed on exchanges and people can use it. Some people are quite enthusiastic about Libra but I am not. We know that Libra is planned to be a stable coin, it means not really different than USDT or USDC. So far, I never used those coins for investment, so I have no reason to be interested in it. I am still sure that Bitcoin is irreplaceable as the main crypto coins and dominates crypto market.
5556  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk at Wikipedia on: December 28, 2019, 05:20:37 PM
I agree with you. They shouldn't just write the bad side only, but also provides a positive side review.
Quote
For example, it will be nice if they wrote:
1. Research found that there are already many successful people by trading crypto assets (Bitcoin and altcoins).
2. Blockchain and crypto adoption developed quite massive and even come to campus already.
However, we cannot force them to write something like those good aspects. They may have own point of view. Or they just still don't update the information yet.
5557  Other / Meta / Re: Session timed out while posting? on: December 28, 2019, 05:02:39 PM
I have tested it for you, this is exactly what you question. I left my posting session for 30 minutes. When I return, I get this warning when pressing the save button. I think you just have to avoid writing for too long.
Thank you for the research and analysis. Yes, 30 minutes is exactly a long time to post something. Not only got a warning, if we use a computer or laptop, it probably is already off when leaving it 30 minutes. However, you are correct, avoid writing for a too long time, so that no such warning.
5558  Other / Meta / Re: Two questions related to Forum's history on: December 28, 2019, 07:12:51 AM

5559  Other / Meta / Re: Two questions related to Forum's history on: December 27, 2019, 03:09:28 PM
The first merit transaction is this one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818066.msg28853325#msg28853325
Merit sender: theymos.
Merit receiver: AdolfinWolf

Thank you mate for the information. Yeah, as I guess, the first merit sender is theymos as well.

-snip- the first merit sender is theymos as well since he is the first merit source.

Now, with your information above, everything makes sense and clearly enough. Thank you so much for your help.  Smiley
5560  Other / Meta / Re: Two questions related to Forum's history on: December 27, 2019, 03:00:30 PM
Come to think of it, I wonder why was the Members page disabled.
Yes. The page was disabled. Cannot get anything there.

You can check it by user id profile;u=
1. First Bitcointalk profile is admin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1
-snip-
Nice answer, buddy. It seems my first question got the answer clearly enough.
By the way, how do you know those profiles are the first one to the 10th one? Check each profile manually?

2. I'm lazy to check merit ttranactions on mobile, but I'm almost sure that this theymos post got merit first:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0. But I don't know who is first merit sender.
Okay. It makes sense but yes the sender is still questionable? Or the first merit sender is theymos as well since he is the first merit source.
