5541  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: August 11, 2016, 09:30:54 AM
I guess my worst decision ever made in bitcoin is investing in doublers and hyip, that time im new in bitcoin world and can easily fool. so thats how it is, i invested lots of bitcoin, i bought it using fiat but i didnt get any btc in return in hyip it cant be widraw then my friend says i get scammed.

That thing should be really stopped. They target newbies in different areas and using bitcoin as a means of payment. At first I just look at it but sometimes I want to do something or warn others about it
5542  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: August 11, 2016, 09:26:57 AM
I just recently had to convert some of my bitcoins to fiat because I ran out of funds unexpectedly. Normally, I would just hold much and just spend a little on load credits and bills payment. I hope the time will come that the buy and sell price wouldn't have much of a difference. Maybe that is the exchanges' way of earning from their clients. By the way, who determines the exchange rate for the exchanges? Is there a rule or policy that controls exchange rates?

That is their own set of rates that close to the exact price of bitcoin. There is different rates to cover all the expenses and services that those exchanges are giving out to satisfy their clients.

But they have no right to set their rates to really a low one because in the first place, no one will use their exchanges sites if the rates is really terrible.

You are right. I have been to a lot of exchanges and have seen different prices specially when you are buying bitcoin. Some are really using it for their greediness. Anyway I do have a choice. They cant force me.
5543  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think bitcoins will disapear or become unused? on: August 11, 2016, 05:04:51 AM
I actually do believe that this will happen one day but it will take something major to happen first, that major thing will be the mass adoption of bitcoin. Once enough people begin to use BTC it will slow the transaction speed to a point that it is no longer a competitive speed for a comfortable transaction. once it is not comparable to its competitors and older services such as western union become a more feasible form a wire transaction again Bitcoin will cease to be used. However a new coin will surely take its place having fixed all issues bitcoin has currently. There are already millions of new coins that come out on a variety of exchanges every day. Any one of them can be the next Bitcoin that is only worth fractions of a penny right now.

But in short, yes , just first it will require two things

1. Mass adoption of BTC
2. Failure of BTC to compete due to over usage of blockchain

Also even after that happens i Believe people will still trade BTC for years and years just as collectors do with baseball cards just because it will always have been the first big crypto coin

We it can still be a commodity, gold do not have a wire transaction but look at its a price even if it is just a type of stone or metal. I think something can come up once there will be a problem with the speed of transactions.
5544  Other / Archival / Re: how to earn bitcoin fast? on: August 11, 2016, 05:00:46 AM
There is a lot of ways to earn bitcoin but it needs work, like trading and selling skills , and the signature campaign and so on..

if you ask me, signature campaigns are a perfect way to earn some if you don't have any skills to offer, like me. :/
And what better to start? It is best to consult with someone who knows how to act, or the first steps on the signatures.
There isn't really anything you can ask someone about or find out the first steps with, it's a relatively simple and just reading the instructions on a signature page give you most of the information you need to understand. I'm not sure how you can learn from talking to other people, especially with signature campaigns.

Well this campaigns are just for advertising purposes. But there are some rules here and those are created by managers or moderators. Posting someting that can help the community or something that should make sense is the idea to prevent flooding of so many comments. With this, some ideas will be filtered easily for future references.
5545  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: August 11, 2016, 04:54:18 AM
There are women who show their bodies thru webcam for money. I'm not sure how they get paid, maybe paypal or some sort of ewallet? Suggesting for them to accept BTC and then teaching them how to cash out should bring more women in the community even if they are only in it to get paid.

The hell are you saying? It is not a motivation it is more like disrespect. There are a lot of ways and why would you think of thay. You perverted creep.
5546  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: August 11, 2016, 04:50:02 AM
There have been a lot of scam investments. What else would I believe in if not bitcoin. Bitcoin is promising an easy and fast invesment and I will that for now until all of this ends.
though those scam investments shouldnt make you dont want to invest into bitcoins, i think bitcoin will always be the best option so i put some money into it daily
Yeah we have to be more smart in choosing the investment methods, scam can be seen in every investment but how we are making profits in that means the matter.

Just avoid those overly hyped and too good to be true investment platforms and you will be good. Slow and steady profit from an investment is better than a very high profit but will run away with your money.

Yeah like those double your bitcoin thing. Of course it not possible and it is just for marketing strategy. It is just to make people be interested in something.
5547  Other / Archival / Re: how to earn bitcoin fast? on: August 10, 2016, 01:45:43 PM
Exactly. Bitcoin is just like normal currency. In fact, it is actually more difficult to earn bitcoin than normal cash, in my opinion. It is easier to take up a normal job, earn fiat and then convert them into bitcoin- that's the fastest way.

Yeah, I kinda agree to that. That would be smart but, some people don't have jobs like me sadly
I think everyone has a difference of opinion on this. because everyone has the skills and work respectively. for you may find it
easier to get fiat because you already have a job at a real job. would be different from those who work full time in bitcoin ?

Yes indeed how the people here to get a different bitcoin. If my way to get a fast bitcoin possible by using our expertise or may be an investment and trade bitcoin. That if want to get bitcoin much have tried many ways.

I hope I have those expertise. I am still new in trading and I cant seem to get the real hang of it. Although I just lose like 200-300k satoshis due to my fear that it might come down more so I withdraw it.
5548  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: August 10, 2016, 01:44:19 PM
not really spend on real life. almost of people here sell bitcoin on exchanger and then spend the money on real life. because of no place like your place that accept bitcoin as payment. and what a lucky peoples that have bitcoin atm on their country.
I live in a less developed country but I am not having a difficulty spending my bitcoins because I can easily cash out in my bank and spend it. I don't actually spend online to buy some stuffs but I do gamble most of the time, in overall I am satisfied with bitcoin in terms of currency.

A lot of us are now getting satisfies but there are those also that are getting weary in how they can use it with their country. As we know there are still this countries that are not developed. Only cities is where they can find a bank connected to bitcoin or something like that. Then how about those who are in rural places.
5549  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: August 10, 2016, 01:39:29 PM
my prediction is that bitcoin is going to keep on growing and it will make me some good money

We all want to see bitcoin keep growing but now this time is not good for bitcoin's price because price is down or dropped from 780$ to 580$ so  it will take a little bit time to reach again 800$+ . We should invest bitcoin so the price will reach higher amount, so keep investing your coins in bitcoin.

We get back that price again at $750-800 then we are all good.  Grin Just keep waving to that  price profit from it and have some rest in a vacation trip. Of course my prediction is it will always go up. But some circumstances could let it fall and it is happening almost regularly also. That hurts. As bitcoin's price progress up regularly then also the bad incidents. They say it is Yin and Yang. But I am not Chinese.  Grin
5550  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: August 10, 2016, 01:04:47 PM
truely i will say that i have no saving of btc . i have lost all my money . but now i will earn through signature campaign .

Earning some BTC with sig campaigns can be a great addition to your general income. However compared to that it is really just a small portion.
That's why I suggest to get a job if you haven't one and buy some Bitcoin with your earnings on a regular basis.
This way you will make much more BTC.

That is true. Actually I just earn 300 USD in my day job, with this signature campaign it adds some more and if I do other services from other online jobs it all adds up making it at 350 - 370 USD a month so I wont be needing to really buy bitcoin. I just dont move my other online income and just let it grow.
5551  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: August 10, 2016, 12:55:18 PM
i never spend my bitcoins right now

You should spend it sometimes if there is any kind of emergency, and if its not then its better to save it for future to get more benefits from it.
Spend only on your needs but prioritize more on savings because in the future the value of bitcoin will appreciate so it is just wise if you are slowly saving for the future, think of the passive income you will earn and do not focus on your wants today.

Its the best idea to save up bitcoin rather than spending it actively only to your wants. If you have a future plan with your bitcoin and would gain big profit out of it someday then its better to save it, just spend a little portion of it in times of emergencies  but dont use it in any situation that  it doesnt need  to spend you bitcoin.
Spending is also necessary especially when what we are earning online is the only income we have, but to have a good amount of investment and make money in the future, we should be always wise in our decision making when it comes to spending, make sure to spend only on what we need.

If bitcoin is your part time income then you can afford to save it for future, but if you are earning only from bitcoins and then you have to sell them regularly to take care of your expenses and your family.

There is one more scenario. Use some of it to add up for expenses and use the left overs for investment. Just dont get it all, at least love some behind in case the price goes up then profits will come.
5552  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: August 10, 2016, 12:53:41 PM
i think that the best way of making steady income is to participate in signature campaigns or just buy a lot of bitcoins and wait
Signature campaign could help but not really when your demand is too big compared to your earnings in signature campaign. As a person, we have our own satisfaction so we have to make sure that the amount we are earning is just enough to cater our needs.

And this campaign wont be enough? What like 10 dollars a week? Really not enough. You should at least get 300 dollars a month and that is way far from $40 a month that you could get from posting here. Cmon get your butt up there and work, make this just an addition to what you will earn from the company.
5553  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: August 10, 2016, 12:50:44 PM
The dream is still very alive, but you have to wait for longer since we are not super early adopters but we are early adopters, so at least 10+ years until we can become rich as BTC will go to 1 million non-inflation dollars and then we can retire for once.

Yes the get rich quick times are definitely over if not a black svan event suddenly takes place.
I also believe a timeframe of 10-15 years from now could make you a wealthy person if you have the patience to hold your coins that long.
However I'm not sure if $1million/ can be reached that soon. But definitely six figures, if Bitcoin should still be the main coin around that time and the majority is focusing on it.

My aim is to accumulate 10 bitcoins in the next 20 years. So that when I retire then, I will be multimillionaire.

10 bitcoins in 20 years? Aint that too long?  Grin how about a bitcoin per year? That would still sound realistic and can be accumulated though working online.
5554  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: August 10, 2016, 12:49:24 PM
it is better to just hold your bitcoins and not invest it anywhere

We are already invested from buying it and there is already a risk like just what happened now. So why risk it some more. If you mean the hyips and other scam site I wont go near there.
Your decision is right, HYIP are scams and it has been proven many time and I am living witness who experienced a big loses when I was a newbie in this cryto world. I think investing in bitcoin alone is more safer and effortless.

Holy!!! You are one of the victims. I am still seeing this thieves that are lurking in every social media websites. I hope we as experienced and who have seen what could happen could do some act in preventing them from doing it all over again to the new ones. That is their targets the people who knows nothing but have money in their pockets.
5555  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: August 10, 2016, 12:47:53 AM
I had saw a video complaining about the current system of fiat, that its printed to cover and to pay for wars, hidden the big problem around fiat, thats bad management, and no transparency. Bitcoin would be amazing to any country has we will see where the money is being invested, something we dont know is the numbers and costs of each transaction.

Bitcoin can also pay for war. That will just be the same as fiat. It will always depend on its user on how he will use it. If the government wants to cover up the war expenses through bitcoin they can do that also.

5558  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex owners - stolen funds and ponzi schemes on: August 10, 2016, 12:06:28 AM
The thing happened in bitfinex was clearly saying you shouldnt keep your btc in a exchange site. I wonder what site wil be the next to say the same as others that they are hacked.

next will be BTC-e and Kraken

I doubt it. Despite the skeptics, BTC-e has proven to be a stable and serious exchange since years. Regardless, one should not store Bitcoin on any exchange longer than absolutely necessary.

The alleged involvement of the Bitfinex founder in multiple Ponzi shemes, including the infamous BST raises significant questions regarding the nature of the "hack". The deletion of social media profiles is certainly not aiding in establishing trust.

It will be interesting to see the further investigative progress - if any is made. The significant amount of stolen funds should at least trigger significant attention from law enforcement.

ya.ya.yo!

You have a point.  His 'closeness' to previous scams says he did it.  I'll bet .5BTC he will be in jail in less than 6 months.  Even the US will try to get him because they have already been close to him in the past.  Good chance he won't survive this theft.

I doubt that. If all of this is planned then he knows a way out of it. He wont do it with that large amount without safe passage going to a luxury bed.
5559  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: August 09, 2016, 02:21:58 PM
People with lack of knowledge will never know what bitcoin is all about and what are its benefits, and the fact is people resist change, and they will never get into bitcoins.

I will just take some time for the ordinary people to use the bitcoin. If major banks are involved, it is not too difficult.

They will be as soon as they they see how it will profit them in the future then they will start adapting it. Problem is eyes are still closed in to newer things that might involved some risks. They just want to stay to that kind of way where they know there will be no risk.
5560  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: August 09, 2016, 01:50:33 PM
In future bitcoin will get a legal status somewhere for sure and than we will get a plastic cards and terminals for using bitcoin in offline shops and other  stuff.
i hope that you are right but still governments might not want to accept it as a normal currency unfortunately, so i think that anything might happen

They wont. Let them control it then they might get a second thought. But that would be absurd if someone is controlling bitcoin. This price fluctuations will not be here anymore. If there will be it will not be that large.
