5541  Other / Meta / Re: Are we giving Red trust feedback too easy? on: December 09, 2019, 12:00:21 AM
Recently there isn't much drama on Reputation section, but I understand about what you're talking. Sometimes it's sad to see high ranked reputed members fighting against each other. I know that they have reasons why they hate each other, but I think it's more personal things and it's not a reason to leave negative trust rating. Such feedbacks makel ook trusted people like scammers, despite that they aren't. I believe that's missuse of trust system and leaving neutral feedback and distrusting person would be more appropriate thing. These wars leads nowhere and reminds two kids fighting for a toy in the sandbox.
5542  Other / Meta / Re: |What of a 2FA (using the signing btc-address) for the forum! on: December 08, 2019, 11:44:17 PM
2FA on Bitcointalk was discussed so many times already, but this is something different. 2Fa with signed message from Bitcoin address would be very interesting addition.
But probably it would be less convenient than standard 2FA apps. Especially if you're not using option "always stay logged in" and logging in every time when you visit forum. Let's say that I use hardware or desktop wallet and I want to login to forum on mobile being away from home. It would be impossible for me to do it. I understand that it would be optional thing, but would be good to have more standard 2Fa as alternative.
And yeah, we are on crypto forum, so it would be nice to use more opportunities give for us by Bitcoin.

Just got this. :O

Here is the verification.

I can't really remember how many times i got this high from this faucet but I am sure it is not more than 5. Never had anything higher though. This one was pretty close.
That's nice. I got this prize week ago and I won it so many times before. But in 4 or 5 years since I use Freebitco.in, I made over 20 000 faucet claims and I never won anything bigger. No $2 worth prize, no $20 lrize, I'm not even talking about $200 prize Cheesy. This summarize my luck in lotteries... :/
BTW, I rolled 0000 once, so I was very close from top prize from other side.
5544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: December 08, 2019, 10:29:28 PM
Today it was terrible day for me in La Liga. I wanted big odds and went with away team wins (Athletic, Real Sociedad and Sevilla). Unfortunately I lost all 3 bets :/. At least I recovered today from wins in other leagues.
Atletico in 7th place and 8 points behind the top, it's difficult period for them.
And situation on the table is still very close - just 5 points between 4th and 11th places.

It's a long time before the season ends. You'il probably forget about this bet. Someone should add a reminder to google calendar with this link Smiley

I think Barcelona will be the champion of LaLiga at the end of this year.

We had made few sidebets with tokeweed in past and we have never forgot about it. But, yeah, it's good idea to add reminder or just add this post to bookmarks to remember it later.
5545  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I earned my first merit How to use it. on: December 08, 2019, 02:03:00 PM
At time when you made this post you had 1 merit and you can't use it, because 1 merit give you 0.5 sMerit. But now you got one more merit point and now you have 1 sMerit. You can simply give it to post that you like, it's useful and etc. I know it can be difficult just one post, but I hope that you will get more merits eventually and it will give you more sMerits to spend
5546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: December 07, 2019, 07:25:55 PM
Barcelona will be facing Mallorca and i am expecting a goal fest from Barcelona and i am not expecting Mallorca to score a goal as they are not having a good away record.

Levante vs Valencia, i am expecting both teams to score considering their past records as both teams have scored goals when they faced in the past four games and i hope Valencia to win the match here.
Barca probably is going to win easy, Mallorca isn't dangerous opponent for Barca, especially at home.
Valencia derby was simply amazing. Levante were leading 2:0, but Valencia made great comeback and scored 4 goals and won the game.
5547  Economy / Services / Re: Needs Moderators for Local Forums- coinstalks.com on: December 06, 2019, 08:33:55 PM
Are you looking for moderators just for current boards (Russian, Turkish, Philippines and Indonesian), or you want to add more language. If yes, could you specify from which country you're looking for people?
BTW, I really like how your forum looks. It will be difficult to survive in the shadow of Bitcointalk, but I wish you good luck.
5548  Economy / Services / Re: Hosting Paid in BTC on: December 06, 2019, 08:26:15 PM
You can take a look at Hostinger too. I've been using them for few years without any complaints. It's cheap and they have great 24/7 live support. And one their advantage against Namecheap that they use Coinpayments payment proccessor, not BitPay.
There is another service Serveria.com, I haven't used them, but they have ANN thread here:

5549  Other / Meta / Re: Option to disable signatures as alternative to self-moderated on: December 06, 2019, 08:10:16 PM
Well, that's not bad idea. It would help in spammy boards if you want to start more serious discussion there. I see only one downside - it would add much more extra work to signature campaign managers because they would have to check every post of user to see that signature is visible on it or no. It will be not enough to just to look at list of user's last posts.
You could expand it and automatically drop sigs at X pages.
Don't agree with this. Not every long topic is spam megathread.
https://talkimg.com/images/2023/09/10/m0UOP.jpeg

I don't think this is needed at all.
You can simply go to Look and Layout Preferences options in your profile and disable or enable all signatures in forum, but I am sure you know about this.

That's different thing. You won't see signatures, but all these spammy posts will remain in topic. Suchmoon offer would remove initiative to spam in some topics.
5550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 05, 2019, 09:43:10 PM
What matches today. Newcastle surprise all of the pool members, also no one picked draw on Ars. V Bri. which is actually a result.
It seems none of us 30 will earn one single point from today games  Shocked
Well, there is more than 20 minutes in Arsenal game left, I hope that they will score, they are pushing hard. David Luiz goal was cancelled after huge offside, while Brighton had great chance to score few minutes ago.
And I'm surprised that nobody picked Newcastle to win.
EDIT And Brighton just scored! Cheesy
5551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the faith of Scammers if bitcoin later becomes a traceable Currency. on: December 05, 2019, 09:38:38 PM
Bitcoin is traceable currency, it's not anonymous. Obviously, it's not that easy to find who is who there. And scammers are smart enough to hide traces. One of ways for scammers to clean their Bitcoins is to use mixer.
If you take a look at walletexplorer does, you'll see that it just connects the address to a specific wallet and shows the list of all transactions related to the address the person typed in. So basically, nothing happens to anyone, since the ID is still hidden. Perhaps by 'traceable', you meant that one would be able to see who moved money where. In that case, it would at least be evident who has whose money (though not where this person is or how to make this person give up the money). But this will never happen because the community will strongly oppose this move since it would devaluate what Bitcoin is in many ways.
You're right basically. But it's possible to trace things on blockchain after looking deeper into it, especially if scammer make mistakes. Scammer just have to send Bitcoins to crypto exchange and he can be busted. Even random guy easy can find which address belongs to which exchange. I'm not even talking about feds. Then just they have to request exchange to give information about user and that's it. This is how users of children porn website were found for example:

5552  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you know any crypto bounty or campaign which is related to cars? on: December 05, 2019, 09:15:21 PM
I haven't seen any cars related bounty campaigns in recent months. In past, there was some such campaigns, but as you see in links above, most projects were scam or users got paid in worthless tokens. And in general, best times of ICO's and bounties already in past and now it's just big waste of time. You either will be scammed or will get ridicoulously little earnings.
But as you said, you have some knowledge about cars, I guess there is other places where you can use your knowledge and skills. And later you can simply buy crypto from your earned money.
5553  Other / Meta / Re: Trust feedback should be written in English. A must for DTs. on: December 05, 2019, 08:54:34 PM
It would be best if trust feedback would be left both in local language and English. But we can't expect that everyone here is able to write in English. One of main purposes of local boards to give people who don't know English to discuss in their native English. And we can't force people to communicate in language that they don't know. Using Google Translate isn't a solution because we all know how it can translate sometimes.
And writing feedback in English doesn't always makes sense. If user is trading (or scamming) just on local board, trust feedback in English probably would do more harm than good. Many people just won't understand what is written and that feedback won't work as a warning.
5554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 5 candidates predicted by bookies to win Miss Universe 2019 on: December 05, 2019, 08:30:36 PM
Such contests i always nice to watch, though I never tried to bet on it. But it's great to see some crypto bookmakers have this event.
I haven't checked all participants yet, but from Top 5 favorites girl from Puerto Rico looks best for me. Offcourse, all these girls are hot and it's very difficult to predict who will win. I see that girl from Philippines is one of favorites, but from what I saw, girls from same country very rarely wins contest 2 years in a row.
5555  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please suggest a legitimate mixer / tumbler. on: December 05, 2019, 08:12:13 PM
Guys, I didn't wanted to say that wearing paid signature force you to become paid shill. Having honest opinion is always good thing. But @sujonali1819 post was little strange for me looking from advertisers perspective - he is getting paid from Blender.io, but he didn't said even single word about it and just mentioned their direct competitor Chipmixer.
5556  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please suggest a legitimate mixer / tumbler. on: December 04, 2019, 09:49:09 PM
I also will recommend you to use chip mixer. It is very reliable I think have seen many users are using chip mixer for mixing in this forum. But always I will suggest you use an accurate link for it. Because many fake phishing sites of chip mixer are on the internet. So be careful about it.
What about the mixer in your signature?  Tongue

Takes balls to promote a competitor when you have a vested(?) interest in promoting the site you're getting paid to promote, no?
LOL, this is really ridiculous. @sujonali1819, I doubt that Blender.io is paying you to promote their main competitor in the market Chipmixer.
This is probably case when you don't even check what you're advertising in your signature.
5557  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to stake a address from blockchain and be able to sign messages from it on: December 04, 2019, 09:43:38 PM
So, you think that desktop wallet can be compromised and you're planning to switch to less secure type of wallet - online wallet? Sorry, but it doesn't makes much sense. But it's good that you decided to buy hardware wallet.
Back to your initial question - as far as I remember Blockchain.com only allows to sign a message using imported address. For example, you can use Bitaddress.org to generate wallet, import it to Blockchain.com and then you will be able to sign a message and stake your address here on Bitcointalk.
5558  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: December 04, 2019, 09:33:50 PM
I do appreciate your response.  A half a year?  That's just ridiculous and in my opinion that would be unacceptable.  Am I to assume that you at least didn't continue to wear their signature while waiting to get paid?

I'm not worried all that much, just annoyed.  There isn't much yahoo can do if yobit doesn't get back to him, so this issue isn't on his shoulders.  Since they haven't scammed their sig campaigners before, I have a feeling they won't start doing it now...but you know how crypto is.  You never know when the next scam is coming and by who.  Again, thanks for your reassuring post.
Yeah, it was unacceptable situation. But I didn't removed signature, because as I said such big payment delays was common for Yobit and I believed that they will refill wallet. And I was afraid that if I will remove signature, I will never get what I earned. And after these long months it was quite a big money...
5559  Economy / Services / Re: I can assist in cryptotalk.org bounty on: December 04, 2019, 09:11:12 PM
OP, you didn't said one of the most important things - how much % from campaign payment you're taking? I think that your service would get more interest in past when Cryptotalk had 20 posts limit. But now now when they allow just 5 posts a day, I think that not many people will be interested.
Getting merits is now almost impossible. The only way to get them is to buy them and I don't have they much funds
Sorry, but this your statement is complete nonsense. Getting merits isn't that difficult.
5560  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: December 04, 2019, 08:50:27 PM
But then this isn't new because in the previous campaigns they did, it took weeks before it got refilled.
Weeks?  Can anyone verify that?  I'd heard of periods where the button didn't work but my understanding was that this usually lasted a few days at most.  This is now a week.  Yobit has never scammed their campaign participants and I do hope this is just an extended delay, but how many of us have seen exchanges scam or bounty hunters do all the work up front and then not get paid in the end.

This doubt I have in my head could be alleviated if they would just communicate.  And yobit is an exchange after all and you would think it shouldn't be a big deal to keep the campaign wallet topped up.  It's not as tho they don't have a lot of bitcoin flowing thru their system.  I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Weeks? Good if it would be true. In their old campaign it was common to not refill wallet for 2-3 months. Once they didn't refilled it for almost half year IIRC. But in the end, we always got paid. So, you guys shouldn't be worried much.
