5541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do with a 1000$ and what would you do? on: October 01, 2019, 01:38:15 AM
If I have $1000 I would invest 60% of it into bitcoin, then 20% each of ltc and eth. Those are the only cryptocurrencies I see that has a potential in the future and will survive for long term. Ltc is like a silver for bitcoin as gold. Ethereum contributed for the creation of altcoins that runs in ethereum blockchain that we know these days.
5542  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy now or wait for Bitcoin? on: September 30, 2019, 10:31:36 AM
That's the thing I rely that makes me confident that bitcoin will not fall to its lowest since last year.
Bitcoin is now experiencing some dump, but it should not create a lot of panic as we have witness this kind of dump or even worse last year, and look what happen after, bitcoin this year starts to recover, stays over $10K for awhile and it brings back the confidence of the people into investing in the market.

Pump and dump is normal for any type of market. It is an opportunity for new investors or a chance to grab profit from their investment. Either way we should not be greedy when buying or selling. If it already dump like bitcoin from the previous days then don't hesitate to buy even if it goes lower, chill and wait for the pump again. No one knows if at this current price it will dump more or it will begin to pump.
5543  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: September 30, 2019, 09:16:36 AM
I think KYC is benefit to the crypto people because one of the best advantage of this is to prevent multiple accounts in the bounty campaigns and also to know who are the participants on the said cryptocurrency activity.

OP did not only mean KYC for the purpose of this forum. He meant to all crypto users around the world.

one of the disadvantages of KYC is being known you because as like you said the strength of the cryptocurrency is being anonymous.

Though that's the main purpose of cryptocurrencies, KYC will help decrease crypto related crimes imo. If your crypto holdings came from a legal way then you won't be afraid submitting your info to the right authorities.
5544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the dangers inside cryptocurrency investing on: September 30, 2019, 03:57:12 AM
Cryptocurrency volatility can kill your pocket and rapidly reduce all your hard-earned investments.

This is really the main problem when you invested in cryptocurrency. I invested on bitcoin way back mid 2016 and I've seen it's price rise very quickly and go down as well. I regretted many times as when I should sell because many people says a single amount of bitcoin will make you rich in the future. I don't know if that will really happen and nkbody knows if it will. I still hold my bitcoin and when it reached new ATH I might sell all of it then find some other investments that is less risky.

5546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins have been around from the start on: September 29, 2019, 08:44:59 AM
I learned about crypto way back 2016 and shitcoins does really exist that time. It can be found on some exchange and some group of whales pump a one or two digit sats shitcoins to hundred sats or even thousand. You can earn some big profit from their move if you buy at a low price. Though it's risky when it's pumping because anytime they'll dump it hard so you should always watch its movement. Now the term shitcoins became popular because of many ICO projects that are scam.
5547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins era is coming? IDL has announced presale of one of its coins LAW. on: September 29, 2019, 04:57:39 AM
-snip

Altcoin era won't happen again. The hype at 2017's was just because of popularity of ICO's that time. Now most of the projects are scam, their roadmap never happens and the listing at the exchanges has many excuses for the delays. If you ask me to invest on the altcoin you've mentioned, my answer is "NO". I've learned my lesson from the previous projects I invested before.
5548  Economy / Economics / Re: WHICH GROUP DO YOU BELONG HERE on: September 29, 2019, 04:09:50 AM
I'm a permabull and a long term holder. When there's a bear market I go to sleep like the bears. I don't check the price and I don't participate in the forum . I don't trade the bear market and try to survive it somehow. In a bull market I come back to trading investing posting and participating in giveaways. I even gamble in a bull market because rising prices make me feel happy and alive and bear markets make me depressed.

Only people who are willing to risk or who have plenty of buying power trades on bear market condition. Even on social media many crypto enthusiasts are silent and just observes how the market moves. But when there's a bull market many people are showing up showing their analyzation of the current market, even the moonboys are awaken from their deep sleep.
5549  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Make it back to $20k ? on: September 29, 2019, 03:12:39 AM
Now bitcoin is under fire again with Bakkt first day of trade price crumble again but slowly regain, they say october is the time that it will reach 16k are we gonna see 20k+ by november ?
feel free to share your thoughts dont be rude to everyone smile

I don't see it hitting 20k+ this year and I prefer a slow increase rather than what happened way back 2017. Don't listen to those speculations that would make you buy because of FOMO. Just look at Bakkt, many expected it to pump bitcoin but it just dump $2k since it was opened.
5550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Martingale strategy increase your chance of winning? on: September 29, 2019, 01:58:06 AM
I don't see how it increases your chances of winnning. Martingale strategy simply doubles your bet until you hit a win. It is a very risk strategy because it can eat your capital quickly. No one knows how many losing streak you'll have before you win. I've tried it many times and I failed. Now when I play at dice sites my betting style is random depending on what I want that time.
5551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: September 29, 2019, 01:10:53 AM
~snip

Sports betting is a form of gambling so there is no strategy or techniques that really works. It's still based on luck though it works different compared to other types of gambling games.

~snip

That can be considered as tips but for tricks imo it doesn't really exist in the world of gambling. Sometimes in sports betting what you didn't expect happens. If you're lucky that time you win, if not then move on and don't attempt to recover your loss.
5553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best time to keep investing? market is crumbling again on: September 27, 2019, 02:45:01 PM
Will you choose to invest in bitcoin now that its at 8k or still continue investing in altcoin since many big altcoins have already lose up to 30% value again, well i decide to invest in bitcoin if further value loss takes place and i keep buying bnb token and ETH too, good idea or bad idea??

To maximize the profit I would both invest into bitcoin into altcoin. But in terms of altcoin I would only pick eth and ltc. They are the top coins for me as they exist for a long time. I'm still not confident about BNB as it's still new on the crypto world and grew really fast since it was created.
5554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy now or wait for Bitcoin? on: September 27, 2019, 12:37:19 PM
At this current price I can say it is a good time to buy. But I won't be deciding that myself. If you're still looking for a cheaper price to buy then wait for that moment. But don't regret if you'll miss this chance then you blame someone because of it. Don't base to anyone your buy and sell prices because no one really knows how the market will move.
5555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Emotions; while betting, will you risk losing your fund to back your club? on: September 27, 2019, 09:25:54 AM
How do you balance the emotion of wanting your club to win but not ready to lose your bet in the toughest of games.

You want to earn profit from gambling so if I get to decide in your place I would choose the team that has a higher chance of winning. If you really support your favorite team you will bet your money without thinking of any returns. You trust them whatever team they will face.

Sample of this is Manny Pacquiao vs any of his opponent before. Many still bet on pacquiao because he has a higher chance of winning. Even the fans of his opponent bet on him.
5556  Economy / Economics / Re: WHICH GROUP DO YOU BELONG HERE on: September 26, 2019, 09:46:01 AM
BULL'S GROUP - always putting money into the market and does not take out often, more like long term investor.

BEAR'S GROUP - always taking money out of the market often, more like only interested in making money in a short while, i mean short term investors.

I'm a long term investor but I think I don't I belong into the bull's group. I just invested once 2 years ago and let it on my wallet until next year. I saw bitcoin when it was only 400$. I can't afford to always buy bitcoin with my current income so what I bought is only what I'll have in the future.
5557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Cock Fighting on: September 26, 2019, 06:59:06 AM
Bumping this hoping we find someone to contact the ADMIN for possible BITCOIN gambling.

I think the admin of that website is from the Philippines. And I doubt he would approve to include bitcoin as one of payment methods on his website. Bitcoin here is only popular to people that is looking for investments usually rich. I think people that bets into cock fighting here doesn't know how to use bitcoin or even know what it is.
5559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How many crypto exchanges are really required? on: September 26, 2019, 03:36:51 AM
Now a days, I have observed that out of ten projects three or four are of new exchanges. At the moment there are so many exchanges available for cryptocurrencies. When we invest in other projects and its token got listed in one of the new exchange, we have to create account with that exchange to trade those tokens.
Do you really think that there is a need of so many exchanges? isn't it very complicated and lengthy to keep accounts in many exchanges?
Please share your views.

There is no limit how many exchanges account you want. The problem is securing them all properly to avoid hacking. Imagine having 10 or even more accounts, each one of them you will need to activate their 2fa and keep their private keys in a safe place. Another factor is most of the new exchanges nowadays requires kyc first to withdraw. I am not willing to give my private info to a newly open website. You don't know if they are gonna sell it in the black market or not.
5560  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one you buy Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: September 26, 2019, 02:36:40 AM
I once had greater amount of ethereum than bitcoin because I saw it's fast growth that it reached 0.1btc or $50k usd that time but many said it was because of the hype of ICO's way back 2017. I lost so much money from it that I sold it at 0.03btc. Now I will just buy and hodl bitcoin. If I would buy other crypto I won't make it a long term investment.
