5541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burning of cryptocurrency on: May 16, 2021, 08:07:11 AM
I have listen about burning of cryptocurrency. I am a little bit confused what does burning mean, I will be thankful if anybody explain this.
In layman's terms this means destroying some coins from the total supply with the intention to stimulate demand to go up. This act just boarders around the laws of supply and demand, the lower the supply the more demand we have and the higher the supply the likely hood of low demand.

And I have seen major percentage of coins hold by this address 0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dead.
To whom this address belong? Is there anyone have access of this address ?
Didn't take a look but crypto addresses are not like a house number , these can belong to anyone unless the address has been posted in public to make the connection.
5542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there so many negative posts about BTC lately? on: May 16, 2021, 06:45:43 AM
It's funny how they choose to attack bitcoin which is at the top when there are other coins in line with the hope of doing so, dogecoin get in line and let's face the facts you shall forever remain a meme coin with nothing else to offer.

There are many reason why people put or post negative post about BTC late, some are perhaps  disappointed over bitcoin it did not exceeds their expectation over something such as the price
Bitcoin has done exceptionally welcome!

Which asset can you invest in today and match the ROI as bitcoin...I guess it's few to non.

5543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 15, 2021, 09:42:00 PM
Well I said that Leicester will come to play their best football but I did not expect Chelsea not to score as they had some good chances to do so. Anyway, Leicester deserved the win today and big grats to them as they have a long season and they still did not went out of fuel to win at least a trophy. For Chelsea all is left is to try and win the UCL.
We all know how much Leicester likes to turn up the competition when they know the club is considered a big team, and they are good at it.

And tbh I think the boys deserve more silverware for the work the putting in ever since they came into the premier league and some consistency is been shown here. Am hoping this lose by Chelsea doesn't affect them in any way as they await to face City in the coming week.
5544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Elon musk launches his own coin? on: May 15, 2021, 06:08:32 PM
It might or might not  do fine, but seeing how much his moved dogecoin, I think the coin can do fine.

But I see one problem here, him being located in the USA will he be registering a company away from this jurisdiction to avoid any unnecessary tension with the law, compliance checks and all??

Well the sky is the limit let him shot for the stars.
5545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 15, 2021, 05:26:36 PM
We have had on average a minimum of 4 goals per game since Manchester City opened this round of games...what's happening are players showing a sign of motivation or these guys have dropped their guard and taking things at ease??

I think I can bet on West Ham to win... Odds of 2.3 are very attractive! Wink They need to score points to get into the UEFA tournament! And it's much easier to do it with the underdogs...
I hope West Ham can keep up, if am not wrong this is one of their best seasons such that the have come this close to the top four, they won't give up easily and am backing them for a win too.

5546  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: May 15, 2021, 02:02:50 PM
Before start playing ive read mostly the rules and the FAQ of the different gambling platforms, I want to try on and I saw the withdrawal requirement of the rollbit. Also for other future players who would like to play too that they have this kind of rule for their users if you want to withdraw your funds. I don't have any problem with this because it's their own rule if you don't want to agree with it they cant do it's your choice.

I think this is now a normal procedure for the gambling site that don't wanna be use for abusing from those accounts that only use their gambling site as Exchange.

Valid point but depositing a $10 and asking you to wager $100 this an obvious case that the house will win, guaranteed!

They should atleast say something that you must wager the full amount before you can withdraw or a 1.5X would save it's purpose from allowing people from cleaning their coins or exchanging them.

Regardless lose your first $100 and there after you are in Roll Eyes

BTW Rollbit team can we get crash on the platform,it would be nice to play it there Smiley
5547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best Sport to bet on ? on: May 15, 2021, 11:07:34 AM
I think it has to be football because it's not only popular but it's not always that the bookies favourite team will win which makes it easy to bet on the underdog to win some good money, and you also get to use records perfectly preserved to find stats, form and everything else.

And made not relevant to this but FIFA as in the video game could be another reason why it's popular.
5548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge is to hold should not be trading on: May 15, 2021, 07:20:25 AM
I strongly believe Doge will be a sustainable incremental coin, with the help of Tesla. And I believe in the management of Elon Musk, the number 1 billionaire in the world.
Sustainable you say...no chance!

This coins survival depends on a billionaires speculative tweets other than that it can not survive on its on!.

If only we can challenge Elon Musk to stop with his tweets and see if dogecoin is as independent as the picture being painted right now.

Quote
Do you guys agree with me that Doge is the world's largest community-owned coin. And the US and EU communities are very fond of Doge
No it's not , who promoted it to this.

5549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance is investigated by the IRS - BNB fell sharply today from $660 to $540 on: May 15, 2021, 05:33:45 AM
Come on, this is not the first time price has corrected!

Sometimes let's see things as they are, market was just in a correction and this happened as a coincidence with this news, by the way if binance isn't a USA registered company doesn't that kind of go against diplomatic ways of doing business or international laws I suppose.
5550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Zuckerberg named his goat Bitcoin on: May 15, 2021, 05:20:29 AM
Mark Zuckerberg can't fool us with a name, he knows too well that there is something more to to naming of his goat bitcoin than meets the eye.

It could be a secret message telling the world bitcoin is the G.O.A.T and people should jump on it while isn't not out of there reach or his saying his endorsed crypto which is the future of money.

5552  Bitcoin / Press / [2021-05-14] Crypto Options Market Makers Starting to Influence Bitcoin Price on: May 14, 2021, 10:41:43 PM
Bitcoin (BTC) tanked on Wednesday, hitting multi-month lows near $46,000 as renewed fears of an early rate hike by the Federal Reserve, the recent dour mood in financial markets and Tesla’s decision to suspend bitcoin payments were all blamed for the slide.

But the downward move was likely aggravated by options market makers selling the cryptocurrency in the spot/futures market to hedge their books (offset bullish exposure), according to Fredrick Collins, a seasoned options trader and researcher at Glassnode.

“Market makers were heavily short puts in the range of $52,000 to $50,000, and I estimate were forced to sell nearly 2,900 bitcoin during the crash to offset the short gamma exposure,” Collins told CoinDesk in a Twitter chat. “That likely exacerbated the bearish move.”

The episode shows how the growing trade in cryptocurrency options in recent months has become a force to reckon with for participants in the underlying spot market for bitcoin, with monthly expiries proving to be a catalyst for price volatility. According to data source Skew, the options market has exploded in the past 12 months, with the open interest rising from $50 million to over $10 billion.

5553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: May 14, 2021, 10:00:50 PM
Elon musk is a smart guy, he pretty much knows where to find the money he needs to get his babies into space... is lying in crypto, fiat might have it but there is so much paper work to do. And his answer still doubles back to crypto.

At this moment his still a crypto ambassador but I see him trying to get his numbers favour his business and doge....in this short time it wouldn't surprise me to see Tesla go green on the market.

5554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT still hot??? on: May 14, 2021, 09:22:51 PM
I always hear people talking about NFTs on platforms like twitter, facebook etc but the funny thing is are they that popular here on the forum...am afraid not.

And for someone like me that spends much time here it gives you the community am likely to be found in, short answer NFTs are just not for me.
5555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I see no difference between Elon Musk and McAfee on: May 14, 2021, 08:24:50 PM
At this point it's clear that all this character assassination of bitcoin is to get people moving away from the number 1 coin to the meme coin, dogecoin.

It's bad publicity but you know what they say, any sort of publicity good or bad counts for good publicity, I wounder how much his invested in Doge.

Elon playing the villain and Super Hero at the same time, his bad!
5556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 1000 usd , where to invest , on: May 14, 2021, 08:11:27 PM

hi guys
I am wondering where you guys ll invest 1000 usd, which has got a chance to get insane profit.
Please can you give reason as well
Thanks
I hope you talking about long term investment, and not something you invest in today and expect an insane ROI to come by next week..the process takes time for cryptos to mature.

Coins on my radar shibu, Bnd (one of my favorites), and am looking to invest in more popular exchange native coins because those don't need an introduction to the market.
5557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 14, 2021, 08:06:19 PM
There is absolutely nothing riding on this game, with City champions and Newcastle safe from relegation.
It has everything to do with his UEFA team selection, with a few games to go he should be able to cherry pick his team based on the performance these guys put.

And if you say it doesn't, do you think Rodri will play the finals after he cost City a win against Chelsea during a premiership match, I don't think so!!

Guardiola has rested some of the players, reserving them for the uefa champions league final in Porto.
You make it should like the players not playing today are the ones playing the finals, I don't think so!!! Pep is unpredictable when it comes to team selection, it wouldn't be this easy.
5558  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for Feedback on my Bitcoin Trading Platform (Paying up to 25$ in BTC) on: May 14, 2021, 06:57:39 PM
I am interested.
Can you share your platform URL here? This might attract more reputable members to your initiative, when we see your website is live.

You're right but I'd like to keep it somewhat private until I have the 1st version ready. Haven't even migrated to an actual domain, still using an AWS domain. I think in 1-2 weeks, I will have it live and then update it with the actual domain and do a more proper post Smiley
Working with what you have on the AWS domain, are we able to excute trades besides what has been reported by some of the platform testers.

If you still looking for testers, i will be happy to try out your platform.

Have a great day.
5559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 14, 2021, 06:35:51 PM
Team news is in for tonight's game

Newcastle Utd vs Manchester City

With the champions league around the corner city players will be out to impress tonight so that Pep could include the lads in his UEFA starting 11

and this is a fairly strong team to get the job done against Newcastle Utd!

Prediction Manchester City to win 3 to nil.

5560  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you guys happy if bitcoin will dropped to $10k? Why? on: May 14, 2021, 02:42:57 PM
Get to drop down from $50K to $10k would hurt investor confidence, and it would  take gambling investors to reinvest and see bitcoin bounce back to $50K plus but I think more people would invest heavily should it drop this low but am personally not wishing for this drop!!

Think about the hodlers that entered late and market sinks this low,you would be depressed.
