5541  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin demand in economically volatile countries surges on: November 27, 2019, 01:29:37 PM
To be honest, I'm a little surprised that countries with hyperinflation now prefer Bitcoin instead of global reserve currencies, such as the US dollar, to save their funds. After all, Bitcoin has a high volatility of value, which can expose savings to even greater risk than if the population left their savings in the national currency.

It is just an unfounded rumor. The first preference remains other assets such as gold coins, which are more stable than Bitcoin. A few individuals from these nations may be investing in Bitcoin. But compared to the gold and USD volumes, this amount may look minuscule. The main reason is, as you have pointed out Bitcoin volatility remains too high to be used as a store of value.
5542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 27, 2019, 01:16:10 PM
Now Sanju Samson is part of 15 member sqad for this T-20 Series. he's replacement opener for Sikhar Dhawan who got injured in Domestic tournament ( Syed Mushtaq Ali T20). hard luck for Dhawan but good opportunity for young Samson, hope this young fella grab this chance with both hands and would like to see new guy opening for Team India instead of KL Rahul.
There was a huge outcry about the omission of Sanju Samson from the team even without giving a chance to play a single game and there were some political support too from Shashi Tharoor and yesterday night there were hints that the BCCI is planning to select him and now we have a replacement for Sikhar Dhawan. I personally would like to see him play for the team and see how he performs.

It is good to see Samson being included in the squad. But it will create a negative atmosphere if people like Shashi Tharoor and Sreesanth comes out in support for him. Because then the critics will argue that they are supporting Samson just because he hails from Kerala. In reality, Samson doesn't need the support of these people. He can qualify to the team on his own merit.
5543  Economy / Speculation / Re: trump is the cause of drop prices bitcoin on: November 27, 2019, 01:10:24 PM
since the commentaire of trump on twitter before three month prices already starting falling
but should trump make another twitter about bitcoin but this time positive and give prices bullish trend?
is the governoment playing with prices bitcoin?
does trump and givernements love bitcoin or not?

These isolated comments (such as the ones made by Donald Trump and Xi Jinping) may be having a temporary impact on the Bitcoin exchange rates at the market... but in the long term, if Bitcoin has to move upwards then there should be some concrete development. Banking too much on comments by some political figure is not viable at all.
5544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 27, 2019, 01:04:38 PM
I am taking about Afghanistan vs west indies test match Afghanistan already played their first innings season scored 187 for all out and west indies are playing the first innings (68/2 in 22 over) can west indies give big total for Afghanistan?  and it will help to west indies to test match with innings?

Well.. Afghanistan once again proved that they can't compete against the other test sides in any format other than T20. They do have a few T20 stars such as Rashid Khan, Mujib ur Rahman, Zahir Khan, Mohammad Nabi.etc. But these players fail when they play test or ODI format. And it is very surprising, because they have a very competitive domestic 4-day competition.
5545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: November 26, 2019, 03:26:16 PM
The dominance of bitcoin is becoming bigger by the day but I still feel altcoins also have it place, we cannot totally rule out the place of altcoins

Are you sure about that? Because during the past few weeks, the Bitcoin dominance has actually fallen quite significantly. Two months back, the Bitcoin dominance was measured at 71% in coinmarketcap, and this figure has fallen to 66% now. Some of the altcoins (especially Ethereum and Ripple) have made strong comebacks and the current trends also point to an increasing share for the altcoins.
5546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 26, 2019, 03:20:29 PM
Pakistani bowlers are relatively inexperienced and they had no previous experience of playing in Australia. They could have arrived a few days earlier and played a few more warm up matches to get acclimatized with the conditions. Anyway, lets see how they perform during the second test. Their morale is going to be low, but a few early wickets can change that.
I have not seen Pakistan defeating Australia even when they had world class bowlers like Akram, Akthar and Waqar Younis because their batsman always fails them, i am not sure about the win percentage they have in Australia but i am sure it is pretty low, the present team is much younger and there is no way they will trouble the Australian batsman and their bowling is lethal to any top teams and Pakistan will find it difficult to face them.

Back then they had legendary batsmen such as Saeed Anwar and Inzamam ul Haq, in addition to a young Shahid Afridi who could light up some fireworks during the match. But back then, Australia was very much invincible. They had the best bowlers (McGrath, Lee, Warne.etc) and the best batsmen (Adam Gilchrist, Mark Waugh.etc). On top of that, they had the best captain as well (Steve Waugh). The present Australian team is a shadow of its former self.
5547  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: November 26, 2019, 03:03:07 PM
yes, they make excuses to take our KYC and sell it to businesses that need it and make a lot of extra money. This is the policy that new projects often mention because they want to consolidate part of the costs for businesses. Of course, providing your personal information to such organizations is completely not good and they can do anything with your information. so limit your KYC supply to developing projects. You should only provide KYC at exchanges holding lots of your money to ensure your assets are okay.

Identity theft is a big issue these days, and I would not advice sending the scanned copy of your passport or national ID card to unknown people. You can trust established exchanges such as Binance and Huobi, in case they ask for KYC verification in order to participate in the IEOs. But for ICOs, it looks very risky to send the KYC information.

Don’t get a job: Huh? Not getting a job is also breaking a law??

In the former USSR, people who didn't had a job were treated as "social parasites" and in some cases they were sent to labor camps. The only former-Soviet country that has remained loyal to this system is Belarus. Until recently, they had the "social parasite tax", which was suspended only very recently (in 2017). 5549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 26, 2019, 02:51:14 PM
There are some below average players that are sitting in the commentary booth and give out opinions and while they were playing they were not even that good and they like to critic, i have heard Gavaskar giving his opinion when some players show some aggressiveness in the playing field and during his playing days Gavaskar got involved in many fights with players and umpires and even stopped matches and those people come out and criticize, Manjrekar is not even an entertaining commentator and yet he is making a ton of money doing this gig.

Was he talking about Sreesanth? Because I remember Gavaskar badmouthing him very regularly. One thing that I don't like about Gavaskar is that he tends to be very biased towards players from Maharashtra. For him, players such as Ajinkya Rahane and Kedar Jadhav are legendary, but at the same time Ravindra Jadeja and Cheteshwar Pujara are very average.
5550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't complain for too long. on: November 26, 2019, 02:27:56 PM
Good evening everyone, I want to share a little bit of saturation but also want to share the spirit in the current market conditions (Altcoin Prices). When you decide to trade, you must set aside a lot of time to monitor price movements. Actually not only choose the time to buy or sell, but there must be a growing spirit of self. Don't focus too much on conditions, but we need refreshment of mind to make a new strategy. I am optimistic that the altcoin price will grow well, maybe later this year. Do you think so now? Thank you,

The situation is different from what we had in 2017. There are two things. First of all, the investors are more mature and intelligent. They think twice before investing in any new cryptocurrency. Unless a particular coin or a token can show solid development and acceptability, it may gain little traction in the market. And the second thing is that the number of cryptocurrencies have increased by manifold, and this has increased the competition beyond viable levels. It's a dog-eat-dog world out there in the cryptocurrency market right now.
5551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins got rekt big time! on: November 26, 2019, 02:20:18 PM
First of all, you need to understand that out of the 10,000+ cryptocurrencies (coins/tokens) out there, less than 1% are useful. The remaining 99% are completely useless for any purpose and that's why we call them as "shitcoins". Obviously they will survive for sometime as the promoters may try to pump the prices. But once this manipulation period is over, the currency will lose its value and it will become completely worthless in a matter of few months. And this is what is happening to the smaller coins right now.
5552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A coin that solves a problem won't die on: November 26, 2019, 02:09:22 PM
Its impossible to have one or two coins in crypto space because one or two coins can't solve all the problems we have in this world in every aspect of technology or others, if you want to keep a coin for a long time make sure the coin or token solves one or two problems in crypto space or the world, this type of coins don't die easily because they have real use cases, its simple as that

The problem is that we have dozens (if not hundreds) of coins which are designed for the same purpose. And in the end, it turns out that none of them are 100% perfect for that purpose. Take the case of anonymous coins. Earlier there was only Monero. But now we have hundreds of anonymous coins, including Verge, Veil, Zcash and Deep Onion. And the problem is that none of these coins are able to provide 100% anonymity to the user.
5553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long term hodl ! What a joke on: November 26, 2019, 02:03:10 PM
Well.. it is a good strategy to sell your coins at their peak and then buy them back when the prices are low. But the problem with cryptocurrencies is that we never know which levels are peaks and which ones are low. But I agree that it is not viable to hold any of the altcoins for the long term. Unlike the case with Bitcoin, there is no guarantee that these coins will survive for the next 5 to 10 years.
5554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges Tokens on: November 26, 2019, 01:54:57 PM
Without any doubts, exchange tokens are representing a raising trend, but to be honest, I do not believe that any exchange token will get to Binance level. Those guys are far too good and do not have real competitors at all.

Even the existing exchange tokens such as the Binance Coin and the Huobi Token looks overpriced for me. For example, the market capitalization of the Binance Coin is several dozen times its annual profits. Here the investors are assuming that the operating profits for Binance will increase sharply year after year. And there is a good chance that their expectations may not realize.
5555  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance hits 71.2%, alts lagging behind on: November 26, 2019, 01:29:35 PM
The Bitcoin dominance has fallen by almost 5% (from 71% to 66%) in just two months time. At the same time, it will be wrong to say that the altcoins are making a come back, because if we go by the absolute value, their market capitalization has also declined. The only positive thing is that they haven't gone down as steeply when compared to Bitcoin.
5556  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin demand in economically volatile countries surges on: November 26, 2019, 01:18:12 PM
But Bitcoin as a storage of vallue is very volatile. On that way they might also loose their assets because there is no guarantee of positive movements.
Bitcoin can't help countries with volatile currencies and economy because it's volatile itself and they need stability for progress. It can only help individuals who are good investors or trader.

I still believe that these news reports are inflated. Bitcoin is not suitable as a store of value. For that purpose, you need to use United States Dollar banknotes, or gold coins/bars. Bitcoin was trading at $10,000 per coin a few days back. And now its exchange rate has fallen to $7,100 per coin. Anyone who considers such an asset as a store of value is out of his mind.
5557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Super League (ISL) Football match updates, predictions and discussions on: November 26, 2019, 01:12:04 PM
We have two very crucial matches for today and tomorrow. Today, FC Goa will take on Jamshedpur FC and the winner will be having a chance of topping the table. And tomorrow it is going to be NorthEast United FC vs Mumbai City. NorthEast United is having 8 points now and if they win the match, then they can also top the table with 11 points.
5558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 26, 2019, 01:02:58 PM
Look at the victory margin. If this match can't be considered as a white-wash, then we need to find a new definition for that term. IMO, there was no positive points for Pakistan from the match. All of their players failed miserably and none could score runs against the main bowlers. Only when Marnus Labuschagne was bowling, some of the Pak batsmen looked comfortable with batting.
The Pakistan bowlers needs to learn fast on where to pitch the ball and if they are not able to pick wickets then there is no hope for them in the entire series, a couple of Pakistani batsman scored runs in the second innings and it will give them a moral boost and they need to get that kind of performance consistently and the problem is the Pakistan batsman are facing these kind of pace attack for the first time and they need some time to read the pitch and make adjustment.

There is no doubt that Manju was always an over-rated individual. He was a below average player, who somehow found a slot in the playing XI, thanks to his connections. And surprisingly he has now become a regular in the commentary panel, despite his poor language skills and lack of enthusiasm. There is no doubt that Harsha is much better than Manju.
5560  Economy / Economics / Re: The Risks and Rewards of Cryptocurrencies on: November 25, 2019, 04:34:22 PM
For a very speculative asset like bitcoin, there must be risk presently the price of bitcoin is down at the moment and many that bought at a high price are in loss now, but the high risk and volatility of crypto makes it more rewarding if managed well. In a twinkling of an eye cryptocurrency can provide good profit which makes it also rewarding.  The ecosystem of cryptocurency makes it a high level risky investment and also a highly rewarding investment if managed well

Those who had purchased the coins at high levels would be at a loss now. But the most important thing to remember here is that these losses are not realized. Until you sell your coins and book losses, it is not right to claim that you have suffered a negative return from the cryptocurrency investment. And with a volatile asset such as Bitcoin, we can't expect the prices to go up all the time.
