5561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The cost of transferring money on the Ethereum network is too high on: August 26, 2020, 07:56:59 AM
Recently, I've noticed that the ethereum network has an oddly high fee. I was involved in buying some cryptocurrency on Uniswap and it cost $ 2-6 last week and $ 10-20 for trading today for transactions of $ 100 and up. There are some larger transactions and there are much higher transaction costs. In addition to the high cost, I have to wait up to 10 minutes to complete my transaction. If I continue to bear such high costs, I could go bankrupt before paying back my investment on Uniswap.

This is normal on the Ethereum network, guess they need to update this nonsense payment if they want investors to stick on their company or else they gonna driven them out with these high payment transaction fees. I mean who's gonna use your network when you have some nice options to choose to? we have a variety of solid top coins that can be used for an alternative on ETH. I guess they didn't count it and it will make their sales in vain. The price will never reach at $500, let alone recording a new all time high this year if they don't fix it.
5562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest Gambling Losers on: August 26, 2020, 07:25:29 AM
All greatest losers are end up nothing, the same as the story that I had heard.

A guy massacre the casino using the high powered machine gun after the huge loss. The bloody scenario including himself found dead by the authority. Imagine, you'd become willing to waste your life because your brain was eating with addiction.

These OP shared I guess will have a lesson to us not to follow with them.

I also heard about that story, I mean I saw it on the news where a man has free fire some people in the casino because he is so frustrated that he lost it all there and after that, he needs to pay some credits from the people he is owed. After he fired on the innocent people, he killed himself. Moral of the story is stay away from those people because they will self-destruct if they run out of reason to move on.
5563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Millionaires: % of BTC Owned by 100 BTC and above. Achieving BTC Millionaire! on: August 26, 2020, 06:53:21 AM
The information seems not too good if publicized, you know? we don't know what those scammers are capable of. There's something we need to understand regarding the amount of BTC we are holding. The truth of the matter is, most likely it is safe if we don't even talk about it. Let's just focus on holding it until we find the price suitable to sold it in the market. as for talking about how much we are currently holding, Nah! no thanks. Things will go smoothly if we hide it.
5564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Oscar De La Hoya vs Amir Khan? on: August 25, 2020, 04:42:06 PM
Does it involve belt to be won? If so, I think Khan will be more motivated to defeat the Golden Boy. Well, if not by belt then it's all about money, the pandemic really hurts some boxers butt to the edge that announced they will fight for glory again.

What can I say, it's too odd for the Golden Boy and his chance of winning was not even at 30, just my two cents.

I don't think some belts are on the line since this is most likely some exhibition fight. Anyway, his fight will likely turn into boring match since those two boxers are not supposed to fight each other base on their current situations. As I said before, Oscar needs to look for someone who is not like Khan because he is no longer that popular anymore since he has lost a couple of times. If they want to pursue this, then I don't really bother to watch it since the result will be pretty obvious, Oscar's body is not fit for boxing fight anymore. in his current state, he will lose this fight for sure.
5565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP got 30 new WHALES!!! on: August 25, 2020, 04:04:43 PM
XRP got 30 new whales who are holding over a million XRP on their wallet. The analysis says XRP is ready to go up. Read the article below to know more.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/xrp-is-up-30-and-has-30-new-whales/amp

What's your thoughts on it? Can we see Ripple over 1$ again? Or it will stay here?

Although the price of BTC and ETH are now going up, the price of XRP is still not moving. I mean, I have seen XRP reached 0.4$ last year but this year, it hasn't been increasing from 0.2$+. I wonder if that's whales are going to have a positive impact on the XRP market or not. Just look at the price today, do you really think those whales are gonna push the price of XRP up?

5566  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2FA-Recovering your KYC Google Auth Keys. on: August 25, 2020, 03:33:52 PM
Great guide, but I prefer using Aegis authentification app in which it is possible to encrypt your vault and make an encrypted back up on completely offline storage. Even if I lose my smartphone, I can easily transfer the data to a new one and, more importantly, no one can access my vault on lost device because it is protected with password.

No KYC, no google, no problems.

Hey! I never thought there are some other Authentication apps you can use other than Google authenticator.
I've been thinking sometimes what if I lose or damage my phone and all of my important data are supported by Google authenticator. From FB to exchange wallet. How do I supposed to recover it? Now that I found this one, I'll gotta try it. Thanks for sharing it with us.
5567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest Gambling Losers on: August 25, 2020, 03:01:18 PM
What a lose man! these are some big time lose. I mean, do they play with these huge amount of money? This is not entertainment anymore. This no doubt some way to throw your money. I always thought people sometimes lose some fortune in gambling but losing some million dollars? no way!

You're right, if they just knew they will lose these huge of amount, they could have been stopped before this happen. But shit happens you know that? things happened like this one so that we can learned from them. I mean learned not to be carried away.
5568  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: License to Sell Bitcoin in Person as Oppose To Online Exchange? on: August 25, 2020, 02:33:21 PM
Like everyone sais here, every country has different regulations regarding that matter but as for our country we don't have some problem for now. We are free to sold our BTC to people most people called it P2P transactions but off course, you need to be careful when doing such transactions or else you gonna end up like these guys here: https://github.com/jlopp/physical-bitcoin-attacks/blob/master/README.md
5569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin so unstable? on: August 25, 2020, 02:07:59 PM
The difference is only whales who holds a huge amount of BTC and gold are scattered to every country out there. doesn't really matter if one country sold all their golds to some other currencies the price will not budge like what we have seen on bitcoin. Bitcoin on the other hand has some disadvantages because when the whales decide to sell their BTC in one shot, you can see the red blood market at once. not only BTC but the other cryptocurrencies as well. The volatility in Bitcoin is more crucial than gold because only a few have owned it compared to gold. even my grandma has some gold you know  Grin Cheesy
5570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mind Blown Gambling Facts on: August 25, 2020, 01:41:22 PM
These are some resourceful information about gambling, worth to know by the way but not obliged for a gambler since gambling are a game of luck. Anyway thanks for sharing it here, some information are not know till now especially the first gambling has ever been played. The number 51 is the most unluckiest person of all time, Image he lost it all in one night? what kind of strategy is that? another damn way to lose a fortune huh!
5571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: when will cryptocurrency go mainstream? on: August 25, 2020, 01:12:49 PM
We are already mainstream, as you can see from the media to the world of internet Bitcoin is no longer stranger to the people since it has taken it's first all-time high last 2017. nowadays when we say BTC people most likely to recognize it as digital money rather than a fraud that was because of the good news spreading all around the news today since it has become the talked from the other main television channel in some part of the world. however, we cannot change the fact that there still some people who used it to fool others but nevertheless we are going right in the eyes of the people because as of now they knew who the scammers are.
5572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 24, 2020, 01:26:57 PM
Dude. Luka!

That OT last shot, the buzzer-beater is hype!

Who has watched Luka's winning shot?

The stats of this kid is lit! 43 points, 17 rebounds and 13 assists

Although I was rooting for the Clippers since it was the team I predict to win the championship in our local prediction game, Luke has never failed to amaze me this time. I mean, Man! that was amazing buzzer-beater. In the playoff? with a championship contender? now Leonard really needs to step up to change the course of this match or else he can kiss the floor now and say goodbye to his back to back championships dream.
5573  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking for a book on: August 24, 2020, 12:50:42 PM
I already made a huge list of books that are related to the Crypto industry maybe you can find here what you looking for. Although this list was made years ago, you can still find some good stuff here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5144671

And also there are some books that are not on the list, maybe I add them again If I have some extra time.

5574  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The best way to convert Bitcoin into real money on: August 24, 2020, 12:34:05 PM
As for as in the Philippines, we often used Coins.ph to convert our BTC into our local currency. Of course, there are lots more options but most of my countrymen prefer this site because it has a lot of options to withdraw your money and it has some user-friendly features that will make newbies use it easily. As for me, I never had some problems using it for the last 4 years. Their technical teams are fast to respond if I ever encountered some problem or some error about the information I fill up in the withdrawal forms and lots more than that. They always fixed it at the right time.
5575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin casinos to surge in German market? on: August 24, 2020, 04:02:57 AM

If they can regulate crypto casinos, that would make their economy to boost more, it would be helpful to recover from the damage created by the covid-19 pandemic. They'll become a crypto casinos capital in the world, I think this is the future since no country has owned this title yet.

Let's just say there are the first in history of crypto industry to do this kind of stuff. however, if China mimic their decision, they automatically turn into crypto casino capital of the world because they have a whole country dedicated to gambling which is Macau. Now that Germany has started it, I wonder which country will gonna follow its steps.
5576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Los Alamos National Laboratory is building an anti crypto mining AI on: August 24, 2020, 03:32:00 AM
Now, this is good news, this is the kind of news that I like to read. I've been wondering how can someone detect that hidden miner software since anti-virus nowadays can be fooled by those programs except for a few. If they can just sell their AI when they successfully made it to the owners of the anti-virus out there, we won't have any problems updating our systems. anyway, let's just hope we will have this kind of program soon because crypto-jacking is now the trend and it's a pain in the ass to detect them.
5577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Oscar De La Hoya vs Amir Khan? on: August 24, 2020, 03:09:06 AM
Well, I don't think this is a good idea. I mean, if he wants to fight an exhibition match, he should have chosen some retired boxers that have the same popularity that he has. Anyway, this is not official yet they can still think about it now. Amir Khan is an active boxer and Oscar has not been in his shape since he lost to Manny. I think he needs to fight someone who is not active to make this fight pair. I miss those days when he fought Mayorga.
5578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto passive income - a bubble? on: August 24, 2020, 02:50:33 AM
back in the days, the passive income you can invest your money with is in the cloud mining where people don't really need to do anything after they deposit the needed amount for their investment after that every day they can get the benefit of what they've invested. However, after years one by one, they turned out to be a scam until the cloud mining business is no more. nowadays we have this thing called staking but this is safer than cloud mining does. here you are the one who controls your money and it's up to you whether you want to sell it or not.
5579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you lost money on Bitcoin you either bought in the red or you didn't hodl on: August 21, 2020, 03:55:04 PM
The shift has being significant and we as well had moved from investing in such asset to crypto and future generation will surely invest in such digital currency. Bitcoin being one of the very prominent coins so the returns are also much better and should be buying it. It can make people millionaire in future if it continues to do better in coming time as well.

The return is coming slowly but surely. as you can see the price in the market has not been decreasing recently, rather it's increasing nowadays. Now it's up to you guys whether you will have a courage to invest in this kind of situation. What I mean is, we might be hitting some new ATH here whether there will be another good news or not. the market seems don't really care, it keeps increasing recently and so as the ETH by the way.
5580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For the kind attention of the Gambling sites , a small suggestion on: August 21, 2020, 12:23:42 PM
Agree, kids nowadays can do what they want and can access their parents' cards secretly and buy a lot of games and battle passes for the game. So even a gambling platform, kids can definitely play even they are prohibited because it's easy to use someone's details on a specific platform and I bet that kids can do it too by using their parent's identity.

KYC isn't the solution to this, parents' guidance are needed in this kind of situation.

It's also the same when it comes to pornographic you only need to press the "Yes" button when someone wants to watch porno videos. The button line is, they don't really care who the audience is, as long as their put warnings on it. Gambling however has different strategies but the same as that. They don't know who actually playing the dad or his kids.
