Yeah she is cute but not the kind of cute I was hopping for.
Off topic, How are the prices on GPUs in the second best Korea?
Thx
The good part about being in Asia: You can always find it cheaper someplace. The bad part about Asia: That means that literally every store visible to the eye is overpriced. Funny story, a few weeks ago I was looking for a replacement recording device that they sell on SweetWater for $300, and the going price in Korea is $900. What the fuck, seriously.

Here is just an off-the-wall idea: if you're legit, why don't you just use an overnight courier to send the original documents to MtGox so they can inspect them by hand, and trust that they will return them.
"But I don't want MtGox keeping my passport!"
They probably won't. And if you came in here and convinced us that they did, we'd shame them for it.
This is what I would do before I would bother with a $90 notary service (that also required me to send my passport somewhere and trust its return).
Horribly irresponsible suggestion is horribly irresponsible. Never let your passport out of your sight, much less trust it to an organization that is notorious for lack of communication and explanations for blatant and obvious disregard for customers.

asked for a refund from Sonny and got it back the next day. If this is a con, it must be for the long haul.
It's referred to as a "long con".

Hmmm.... chilling effect?
You know what's funny about chilling effects? They help you find content easier. 1) Companies wouldn't issue a DMCA if there wasn't actual content viewable. 2) Google lists those DMCA's through chilling effects including their original address 3) Skip the google search and go straight to chilling effects for content. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

No one reply, i can't believe we'll have to wait until monday.
Ill try leave mark a msg aswell to look at it. Its a pity with 2 days downtime during some very nice arb timeframes we had to miss out on. :/ Yea, and let's not all become conspiracy theorists here and start saying that he did it on purpose. *cough*

It's nearly 1am in Japan right now. I'd call Mark myself but I doubt anyone would answer. For the record, I've called Mark at that number on a Sunday even and he's picked up, so don't give up. Ring it off the hook all day tomorrow if you have to.

Hey all, I'd just like to say that this is a scam. I mean you all have caught onto the fact, but let's be honest here: 5% per day compounded = 1.05 ^ 360 = nearly a 42 million percent return per year. Let's assume that you did this with 1 bitcoin...yeah, you see where I'm going here. Additionally, offering a percent return is one of the warning signs of a charlatan / scam on the Chicago Futures Trading Commission's guide to the FOREX industry found here: http://www.cftc.gov/opa/enf98/opaforexa15.htmThis is a complete scam, please do not be a fool and be parted with your money! http://bible.org/seriespage/fool-proverbs-261-11They don't give 5% of your deposit everyday. They give 5% of all the arbitrage in a day, spread out across all users of the site. Thanks for the warning, anyway.

People pay for software?
Herp derp. Kind of hard to e-file through Turbo Tax with a stolen copy.

The question you should be asking, is why your OS is configured for a non-English language...
Because he is sharing the computer with other members of his family and they don't speak english? I am not sure if Luke meant this or not but, I was responding to the fact that Bitcoin should be in English regardless. Even on my Korean windows it shows English. So wtf@that

True. I live in Korea, use Korean windows, and have never had Bitcoin speak Korean to me.

The largest online protest in history has fundamentally changed the game. You were heard.
On January 18th, 13 million of us took the time to tell Congress to protect free speech rights on the internet. Hundreds of millions, maybe a billion, people all around the world saw what we did on Wednesday. See the amazing numbers here and tell everyone what you did.
This was unprecedented. Your activism may have changed the way people fight for the public interest and basic rights forever.
The MPAA (the lobby for big movie studios which created these terrible bills) was shocked and seemingly humbled. “‘This was a whole new different game all of a sudden,’ MPAA Chairman and former Senator Chris Dodd told the New York Times. ‘[PIPA and SOPA were] considered by many to be a slam dunk.’”
“'This is altogether a new effect,' Mr. Dodd said, comparing the online movement to the Arab Spring. He could not remember seeing 'an effort that was moving with this degree of support change this dramatically' in the last four decades, he added."
We're indebted to everyone who helped in the beginning of this movement -- you, and all the sites that went out on a limb to protest in November -- Boing Boing and Mozilla Foundation (and thank you Tumblr, 4chan)! And the grassroots groups -- Public Knowledge, Electronic Frontier Foundation, Demand Progress, CDT, and many more.

I work for my money, and I pay for people's work. "Donations" is kind of pointless imo. Why donate even to the bitcoin client itself, when you could just charge the communty fees for development? Ever example of donations being useful can be met with an argument for how to earn money through work. Just my opinion.
For the same reason people donate to charities; their purpose isn't earning income by "working" (they already work), it's helping people. Fees are forced; the point of Bitcoin is not having to pay fees to a central authority. Work is work. When you want someone to do something, they do not become the 'central authority' just because they are receiving money for their work. You undervalue your time friend and are confusing charity with rewards. "I need to pay rent this month-- please donate to my address" <-- this is idiotic for me, because I can make a service or product to earn money. Why can't everyone else?
