5561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto, here's an idea for you (if you are still out there): on: November 04, 2019, 04:12:02 AM
By giving 10,000 Satoshi to every living human being on earth. Implementing this might be challening, but less so for a genius like you (I thought of an encrypted database where people can register with personal details, a means of identification and a Bitcoin address, allowing the Satoshi to be sent to them automatically and once only; but this is only a first idea and others might have better ideas).
You don't know what you're saying, man. What makes you think that giving out Bitcoin to everyone will make them accept it? And moreover telling people to give their identity to receive Bitcoin defeats the purpose for which it was created. And assuming that he does that, they are all still going to sell their coins and that's the truth. He's done the best he can do and that's by creating and whether you want to be part of it or not is your choice. I don't see why he should be sharing Bitcoin to the whole world.

People need to understand the bitcoin system very well first before anything of such can happen, otherwise, those people would just change it to fiat and use it to buy one useless thing that will not add value to their future.
Yep that's true! Making use of Bitcoin is something they should decide for themselves.. If he should give it out for free like the op has said a lot of people are still going to use their coins to buy whatever they want that same day.
5562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: be careful with projects that offer you great prizes, that is not a guarantee of on: November 03, 2019, 07:01:46 PM
There are lots of good projects that will offer great prices but that shouldn't be the first thing to consider. Before joining any project you should check how legit the project is and whether they are saying the truth. You should get to know the team, and check out their handles on social media. If they claim not to have any social media account then there is no need going for it, because it's likely to be a scam.

A legit project has a team that is active on social media, and when you check their activities it will show you that they have been around for a long time posting and updating people about their project. If you check most scam project their team doesn't have anything to show for it, and their profiles are always created newly.
5563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum in Numbers: What Has Been Achieved So Far on: November 03, 2019, 06:05:00 PM
when we look at Ethereum in numbers, what has been achieved so far? We’ll be taking a look at the number of projects being built on the network, the number of transactions, transaction fees, network upgrades, development activity, as well as its biggest competitors.
Ethereum has grown Like really big. I can remember the first time I got to know about it, when it was still new, I never took an interest in it. Well, I was still a newbie then and was just focused on bitcoin. After a while and then i started seeing news as Ethereum tops the chart, before I knew what was happening, it has become the number one ALTCOIN in the market, wow. I still didn't get in until after sometime, I think I got in around 2017. The Ethereum network has grown and achieved a lot, giving a platform for startups.

creating waste for the crypto market(token shit). the positive side is that they make it easier for companies who want to integrate their platforms with blockchain technology.
Well, even without Ethereum there will still be scammers. We just have to be careful and know what kind of project we choose. But looking at this from another angle you're right about it, there are lots of shit tokens that has been created.
5564  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: November 03, 2019, 12:51:15 PM
How about the kind of "poker" that is similar to slots? I don't know what it called though...

The game was like pull the lever, and you receive five random cards. If the player gets a pair, triple, four a kind, flush, etc., he will get x payouts, just like slot games.

Maybe this way you could attract both slots and poker enthusiast.

This is called Video Poker. This is a fundamentally completely different game than what we have been talking about, but yes, this game could in theory be put onto a website and be made provably fair with relatively little difficulty. However, we have no intention to add this game to our website at any point on our roadmap, yet.
Video poker shouldn't be really too far away from the roadmap if you like poker so much, I mean I kinda understand the purity of poker players wanting to keep poker clean and not make some video machine help people play "poker" because they feel like it is not even poker at that point etc etc.

However in the end, adding more games equals more gambling and as a place that runs on wagered amounts being high (the more people play, the more they lose) you should be considering to add ALL games you can, doesn't matter what it is, video poker, slots, baccarat, plinko, sportsbooks, real poker, horse racing, lets see who pisses the furthest if you have to, the more games the better.

Yeah, it would take a lot of development time so you need to prioritize but I would suggest easier games should be first.

Do not really try to answer to GP because he won't care. That is his biggest problem, he asks a question, he knows the answer, he could go look it up but he won't. You know why? Because, if he does then there is absolutely no way he could do his business, his whole business model relies on casinos scamming people, if no casino ever scams anyone in the history ever again, then there is no point of GP, he is useless.

So, there needs to be places that scams their gamblers in order for GP to make money and write about stuff, so he needs people to be scammed, that is what he thrives for, he wants people to be scammed, he needs people to be scammed, he wishes people to be scammed, all so he could have his business make money. He may not be the scammer but he certainly is the guy who wants you to be scammed.
5566  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | Sportsbook Launches November! 👽 on: November 02, 2019, 08:13:57 PM
Is there any approximate expected timeline for the sportsbook? I know some beta users have been playing it for a while and we have seen the screenshot of it but it is still not in the website itself, it would be lovely to know when everyone will be able to play it as well. I know it shouldn't be rushed and we should be waiting for it to be perfected before we start playing and all that, having a 100% ready game is more important than the deadline.

However, knowing at least a deadline (which could be postponed if there are some troubles) would be lovely, at least we could have some sort of countdown in our minds that we focus ourselves to. I love gambling on stake and I love sportsbooks, so I can't wait to gamble here on sports I love as well, odds look great as well so I will give it a try the first chance I get.
5567  Economy / Economics / Re: Future and current Humanity, Bitcoin, Gold and Fiat. on: November 02, 2019, 06:37:46 PM
Wealth doesn't have to be equal, nobody really should be rich like all together, that is not quite possible and shouldn't be done. What is possible is a fair economy with good regulations and taxes that allows people to live a comfortable live at the worst of finances.

Just to give an example, if oil companies and banks and what not didn't bribed the politicians in USA and politicians didn't accepted the money then right now we would have bad oil business and banks with fair tax paying instead of putting all their money in panama, which would result with billions upon billions of dollars all going into taxes and that would allow government to either get less taxes from the poorest (one guy paying 10 million dollar extra tax could equal to thousands upon thousands of people paying almost zero tax) or they could just help people out like medicare for all.
5568  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin demand in economically volatile countries surges on: November 02, 2019, 05:08:18 PM
Well, people see this as a way out and that is kinda the point of bitcoin anyway. When did bitcoin was first created?

After the 2008 crisis, why was it created? Because, satoshi realized 2008 was a big crisis that was saved by the government to protect the rich and screw the poor so satoshi wanted to make a currency that couldn't be toy for the rich and could help the poor as well.

Yes, right now there are tons of whales who play with bitcoin like it is a toy but at the end of the day poor people could hold it as long as they need and if rich want to keep making money from it they would eventually make some poor people rich as well. That is just the way bitcoin is, it helps the poorer people more in the sense that small gets bigger, big just gets bigger as well.
5569  Economy / Economics / Re: Africa - Hidden Treasure for the world and bitcoin on: November 02, 2019, 01:58:32 PM
Africa is basically a great place, and truly they have lots of resources, but their problem is that they have foolish leaders. So, I won't blame them for facing poverty, because their leaders are the ones killing them, such great nations. If only they can come together and take down those evil leaders they have then they will see their economy booming.

Their leaders are so corrupt, all they are interested in when they are voted is just to be stealing from the country's purse and making themselves and their family rich. They don't build good schools for their people, but they send their children over to EU and US to study in great schools such as Harvard and Yale at the expense of their country, lol Grin.

Since, they value education that much, why don't they build such schools as Harvard in their own countries ? It's so shameful. These people have resources such as crude oil, but they don't build factories to refine them, rather they sell to other countries and buy back at a higher price. To me that's stupidity and the leaders are to be blamed. In this world our leaders are the ones killing us in most cases but we do nothing, sad truth.
5570  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★★★ Bitcoin Video Casino ★★★ - ||| Over 500 BTC in Progressive Jackpots! ||| on: November 01, 2019, 04:31:11 PM
I wouldn't want to be standing in a firefight between to people but I think I can honestly help out both of you here. Jonas has a problem, BVP (which I love and played like crazy for a long time but not so much recently, still love it tho) are basically talking about a solution that is simple and they just both do not understand each other at this point.

Guys, it is actually quite simply already solved, you just can't communicate at the same level. Jonas when you deposit, the pending is actually website getting the confirmation of the money actually being sent, not the confirmation on the block, which means they actually check their wallet address and see the money coming, that is a different kind of confirmation then a blockchain confirmation, which doesn't really take that long, at max 3-5 minutes and probably 30 seconds at tops most of the time.
5571  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do we still expect a repeat of 2017 ? on: November 01, 2019, 04:00:25 PM
Not only 2017 but we are going through the whole cycle of 2013-2014-2015-2016-2017 in general.

Looking back we can see that in 2013 the price went up a bit but not too much, in 2014 it went up super high, in 2015 it went down and didn't go up too much, in 2016 it went up a bit but not too much, in 2017 it went up super high, in 2018 it went down a lot didn't go up, in 2019 it went up a bit but not too much so from the same cycle as you can see the increases in 2014 and in 2017 could be same for 2020 as well, same happens all the time, hell I can even see the future where in 2021 it will go down a lot and won't go up, in 2022 it will go up a bit and in 2023 it will go up a lot, same thing over and over again. We will see in 2020 if that's the case or if I am wrong.
5572  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's Latest "Fall" Was Manipulated on: November 01, 2019, 03:37:58 PM
I have always said it, $10k is the real price of bitcoin for the longest time, we are not ready for anything above just yet and we are not really liking the price when it falls. Anytime bitcoin goes under $10k there are people who start to accumulate and buy more, anytime it goes up there are people who sell and get out of the market (or at least wait until it falls) so right now 10kish prices are the real prices, sure $9k works but $11k works too, what I mean is anything under $8k (really below 8000 not 8300 or whatever those still work) and anything over $12k, those prices are risky for now which is why I feel like $10k works best.

Only recently we have seen under $8k and we have seen people go crazy when it went under $8k, we bought so much that price went back to over $9k.
5573  Economy / Speculation / Re: 4 Key Similarities to Previous Bull Market Corrections on: November 01, 2019, 02:14:37 PM
I still think BAKKT doesn't have that type of volume to affect bitcoin price, sure it is a bit of difference and sure there could be some small ones but we are talking about bitcoin falling from 10k to under 8k and then above 9k, bakkt doesn't have that kind of volume to affect the price that much.

Could it be psychological? Could it be because people thought Bakkt would be huge and it wasn't when it first started and then became bigger so all of these were reflected by not only Bakkt itself but also people who doesn't use Bakkt at all but just watch it from afar and react accordingly? Sure, it is a possibility but are we really going to attribute these movements to Bakkt all thanks to some possibility? Some whale buying a ton and selling a ton has the same possibility.
5574  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start: Daytrading? on: November 01, 2019, 04:10:50 AM
Before you start day trading you first need to learn about the blockchain, and which currencies to trade. Before you invest your money in any altcoins for trading you have to do serious research about them and get to know everything that you're meant to know about them.

Next thing is to sign up for a good exchange, most newbies I know usually starts with Coinbase because of how simple their trade interface is. You can as well make use of Binance, but it not as easy as Coinbase, though they are regarded as the best, but you will have to be advanced before making use of Binance. There are other exchanges as well, such Huobi and Kraken.

After you have gotten the right exchange, what's next is to learn the basics of day trading, it's not something you go straight into, there's a lot of risks involved. You learn the basics and as time goes on you start to learn more and increase your skills. And don't forget to use limit and stop orders effectively, these are very important.

I think you don't need tools to start, and only watch the price move and watching and analyzing the chart.
Yes, even there are some tools are available to ease the efforts of a trader, they will not be remaining reliable all the times. At the end of the day, even after using any tool, final decision should be based on our experience. This is why day trading is not at all recommended. Day trading may eat up all your time but there would not be any guarantee that you may match a long term holder over the time in profit levels.
5575  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Curious for places for trading Crypto on: October 31, 2019, 07:08:44 AM
The best place is definitely binance but I would like to point out there are some rivals these days. Binance is such a goliath that people started to not really like it even tho it has nothing wrong with it, just for the purposes of not using the biggest one. Some people just don't like monopolies and don't want to enrich the already rich.

Kucoin for example is actually a decent exchange, their design is certainly not the best but their security is top notch and never been hacked, even if anyone tries to hack it ever they would face with such a small amount in hot wallets that they wouldn't understand how the exchange works with such small amounts in hot wallet but they have a secret method for it.

All the above, it is actually a great place to trade if you are sick of binance monopoly.
5576  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s President Xi Urges Accelerated Blockchain Technology Adoption on: October 30, 2019, 03:25:06 PM
I still don't understand how china of all places could be supportive of blockchain.

Blockchain is a technology (that we use mainly on money but could probably used for something else) that decentralized the power and considering China is a nation that is ruled by dictatorship and gangrapes prisoners and harvest their organs and burn alive the opposers of the regime and all the crazy horribly bad Hitler level and even worse stuff they do, they can't deal with blockchain.

What is the purpose of giving the power back to people if you are running a fully automated human killing and dictator enriching nation? Sure, you can use it just for yourself and your part and ban it for the people who you despise (lets be honest Xİ hates Chinese, why would he act like to them if he liked them) but that doesn't seem to be the reason for it.
5577  Economy / Economics / Re: JUST IN: Chinese Central Bank to Launch Digital Currency Called "DCEP" on: October 30, 2019, 01:29:31 PM
How have they been studying it for 6 years?
Bitcoin is 10 years old itself, are they saying they have been working on this since 2013? I mean it is quite possible but do you really want us to believe that China has been studying crypto for 6 years and still scared of it instead of having billions of it.

If a whole nation had the chance to buy half of all the bitcoins because they think it is awesome (they must have since they made their own now) and they didn't buy it, it makes no sense.

I feel like they have been working on this since Libra deal so that when people start sending money via whatsapp or whatever they would have the same thing in their country which would make Chinese not need Libra and not use it and not make other countries money by way of paying fees.
5578  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat currency value and Economy debt on: October 30, 2019, 08:46:22 AM
Well, OP didn't mention anything about an economics degree but looking at his prediction I can easily tell you that he didn't studied economics at all. I in fact guarantee that polo7 hasn't seen a single class of economics in his life or even if he had something as basic as econ101 type of class he didn't really pass with a good grade. Hell I go even further by saying he never had a proper math grade neither.

ALL the things he said are wrong, like not even a single true part of it, not even partially right part of any of them, all of them 100% wrong, not even a %0.1 right part in %0.1 of it. Its good tho, the people like polo7 who sell means the more money we get for cheap and the cheaper we get the richer we get when price goes up, I see this as an absolute win.
5579  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scammed on LocalBitcoins on: October 29, 2019, 06:43:42 AM
If you don't want to be scammed I would suggest using local vendors that has your own currency and connections to your bank. Most of the time (almost all of the time) if they have a automatic website like that they are legit, even if you are not sure you can check online and see their results.

Maybe in Africa it is not quite common yet but that means even better because you can start one yourself which would be super profitable, there is 4 in my country hence why I can't really make one but if my country had none I would have get all the loans I can to start a new one because I know one exchange in my country and we talk with the owner time to time and they are super profitable. So either you would find a local exchange that does your currency or you find a good business opportunity.
5580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which betting type gives you the most payout? on: October 29, 2019, 05:59:32 AM
Sports betting is broader than most beginners think. It takes many forms.
Is it?  I wonder these types are about the different strategies i.e. something else like parley in sportsbetting? Your link explains each type of betting but I just feel it would be too good if you take time to explain how one is differing from the others. I mean only when we are aware of the differences among them, I guess we may go for the right one; right one in the sense, the most profitable one.

It’s not limited to placing your bet on who you think will win between two teams or players in a match. Sometimes, it gets challenging when odds or point spreads get in the way.
When our final motto is predicting the winner, I just want to keep my things as simple as possible rather than complicating with different variety of betting types nor strategies. This is the reason why I am still sticking martingale for my dicing Wink.
