6481  Economy / Economics / Re: Most people dont even know what this is yet. on: August 27, 2017, 03:38:58 PM
I called around some stores to see if they accept BTC, no one has even heard of it except like 0.1% of people.  Wait till people actually find out this exists...
There are many people in our society that is still not yet aware to the bitcoin. I think 10 years from now before they will have a knowledge about bitcoin. I think we need to make a move to spread our knowledge about bitcoin to the other people.
When somebody ask you about this and you told them how good is bitcoin to us, probably they are doubt and they say  that bitcoin is a kind of scam. That's why most people don't know about bitcoin because of their bad thinking but don't knowing how bitcoin can do for us. Because lack of interest and they don't want to be apart of a new world generation of currency.
The best solution for these blockheads is to leave them where they are with their orthodox thinking and let them learn about bitcoins in hard way. We all know that technology is essential for us as oxygen to carry out our daily life tasks and we need to move with technology rather than being reluctant to use latest technologies.
6482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is a whale? on: August 26, 2017, 08:21:33 PM
What is your definition of a whale? How many BTCs do you need to have to be a whale?
Those whale are the big investors or rich people who invested a huge amount of bitcoin. There are many investors who investing into bitcoin amounting millions in dollars, However, it is not necessarily for us to become a whale though all of us here had chances to become like that aat the time we get some profit of more that 10BTC.
Exactly, whales are the ones who can change the price high to low and low to high. These are investors like everyone else but they invest not on hundred and tens of dollars rather their investments start from millions and end in billions. Often, the price plunging or sheer up is just because of transactions they do and that give profit to some average traders and for some it is loss.
6483  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When sell ETH for BTC? on: August 26, 2017, 08:01:27 PM

You are completely on safe side of trade. People have invested all their BTC to coins which were useless and they have lost their money. In your case you have chosen ethereum which was god choice and a very good pair with bitcoin. You just have to wait for longer times if you want to achieve ROI as well as more profits. Because price of bitcoin before segwit was way lot which means if you convert your ether to btc now then you will loose a lot of money.

You only left with one option that is to wait and watch the price of bitcoin go down. This will happen for sure in coming months which is due to its volatile nature as well as one more fork is coming soon. Let's hope we all get one more chance in the future.
if you are not in need of your money just keep it inside your hard wallet and forget about your investment for maybe some years and enjoy your life after and if you still got some spare money you can keep buying both coins future will be nice to those who believes.
Best advice so far Cheesy If you just don’t need money at a time or we can say you have spare money just buy bitcoins and don’t see them for a year or more. Just keep enjoying with the money you have. Bitcoins are going up and up and you will be just a millionaire I believe after a couple of years. Think and buy Cheesy
6484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: August 25, 2017, 07:55:55 PM
No sir, it can't make real money disappear because real money can use into our country which is supporting us to buy things, foods, and etc. but cryptocurrency can be only use in trading, investing or for business only because its design for that. Crypto can also improve our economy because of importing money.
Agreed with you. Bitcoin is the source to earn money and how can it disappear the real money? We use bitcoin to use it online but there are many things that we cannot get online and those we have to buy in real life. And in real life there is no bitcoin. What we have is real money to use them for our daily life purposes. And let suppose that real money gets disappear then bitcoin cannot survive because bitcoin is not in that much number to be used all population in the world.
Bitcoin is not only the source to earn money but it is also money itself. You can pay for your services directly in bitcoins.

I agree with this that at the present moment, there are not many companies or brands which are accepting bitcoins as their payment but the number is increasing gradually. It is possible that in future, satoshis will take over the currency world.
6485  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC as a national currency? on: August 25, 2017, 07:06:08 PM
Currency cryptocurrency or bitcoin in my opinion will not be able to replace the state currency, because if bitcoin will take over the country's currency the government will certainly act immediately to stop bitcoin.
Why government act immediately to stop bitcoin ?
I mean is there any trouble for them or they want to make his national currency continue? But any way I think bitcoin will never be a national currency because bitcoin work good on global level, they unique state can’t be able to maintain that popularity of bitcoin, so it work good just the way it is.
6486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: August 24, 2017, 06:47:49 PM
If indeed i had to win a large sum,i would buy a rice field, house and make my parents happy and use it to share with people who can not afford.
But according to the percentage of only a few people who can be rich with gambling, so many people are poor because of gambling.

That's a really nice thing to do, just i don't think that any parent would agree with that, they would want you to buy it for yourself. But yeah, if i won really much i would buy it for myself and them and probably put rest money to bank, of course give some to them before.
It’s really nice that you have your parents on the top of the list when it comes to spending money earned through gambling. If I would earn something big, I definitely would try to fulfill at least some of their dreams because I won’t be able to make them happy in all possible ways.
According to me, earned profit through gambling should be spent on your family first and then later on for the betterment of society.
6487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins on: August 22, 2017, 07:01:38 PM
I never recommend trading with bitcoins because one small mistake can make you deprive of the most expensive coin available in the crypto market. Besides when we all are aware of the fact that bitcoins are in limited number and increasing in price day by day, it is stupidity to trade with bitcoins.
You might be missing great opportunity of earning big money through bitcoin trading. Bitcoin trading is not recommended only if you are not yet prepared well for a high volatiles market situations otherwise it is highly recommended way of making bitcoins. I'm not claiming bitcoin trading is an easier one as it is our responsibility to get into with required skills. When you will be having skills for bitcoin trading then you can make definite big money.
But my point is, instead of risking bitcoin, you can earn better with some other methods. Trading is always unpredictable so I suggest to go for it with possible low risk opportunities. Instead of trading I am always recommending to go for long term holding like investments with bitcoins because that will be definite profitable.

You must accept that trading is not for all the people but other kind of earning opportunities like investments with bitcoin will be suitable for anyone.
6488  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins on: August 22, 2017, 06:20:24 PM
Yesterday I just lost 1.8k USD, maybe in USA or in West Europe that's doesn't much, but here in my shitty country that's a f* big amount of money. Here the minimum wage is ~ 300 USD / month. So that's like 6 month of work if I cut my bread and water and live on air. Half of my saving were other investments, but anyways... I'm feeling shitty right now. Oh, and I break my laptop. So yeah, that's another - 500 usd.

I though I can trade. Buy low, sell high. Sounds good, doesn't work.

Looking at the charts and candle sticks and watching old bitcoin values, and huge spikes (pump, I saw here how people uses the pump word, daaaamn...) I was... yeah, I can totally do that. I'll just buy when it's low, and sell it when it reaches the top. Well, I was wrong. You can't see the future, otherwise everyone would be a millionaire. That would be true if you would have a delorean from '85 with Emmett Brown and Marty Mcfly and you could f* travel in future and see the PUMPS!!!1

So anyone who will read this message (noobs like me) if you don't have any trading experience, don't do it. There are expert traders who know how this market works, when to buy and when to sell. Don't assume your skills by watching youtube videos and reading "daily indexes and predictions" of how the price will rise or go down by shitty sites. That's just dumb. You don't know what's gonna happen. Maybe a little bit of luck, or I don't know.

So yeah, from now on, I'll just leave the trading area for experts and I will invest in bitcoin by buying every 2 week or monthly and saving into my wallet. And one day (I hope so) the price will rise and I will buy for my self a delorean.

Cheers!

Hey man, which country are you at? I don't think there is anywhere much shittier than where I am right now. But anyway, If you are a newbie you should really avoid trading bitcoins or altcoins... 1.8k USD is a lot, you could have been rich now if you have bought BTC before the fork and then converted all your assets into Bitcoin Cash yesterday before it was pumped.

For people like us, we should really stick to that "buy and HODL" system, specially if you have a day job and you cannot afford to be a fulltime trader.

By the way, amigo... try lending your bitcoins in poloniex or bitfinex. A profit of 0.02% every 2 days is not too bad at all. Cheers!
Yes, there is nothing to be worried about. It is not an end of trading. Even if you don’t have day job, still I will recommend holding bitcoins and trading with altcoins. I never prefer trading with bitcoins since they are very expensive and losing them by one wrong decision can out you into big problem.
I agree on what you have said here on which trading on bitcoins is somehow expensive once you lost it , you would really have a hard time to recover later on unlike on trading altcoin which its price is somehow cheaper than bitcoin that you can able to manage even if you lose some parts of it. Hodling is good for bitcoin but for altcoins trading them actively would be just fine for me.
I never recommend trading with bitcoins because one small mistake can make you deprive of the most expensive coin available in the crypto market. Besides when we all are aware of the fact that bitcoins are in limited number and increasing in price day by day, it is stupidity to trade with bitcoins.
6489  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin break $4500 this week? on: August 22, 2017, 05:14:20 PM
Last week bitcoin try to break $4500 about three times but to no avail! I think  above $4500 is possible before the end August as the momentum is very high and bitcoin Cash has rise significant for the past two day to close at $870 yesterday, I think very soon bitcoin Cash traders will start to take profit and fund will flow back to bitcoin.

I don't think bitcoin will above $4500 before the end of August, because bitcoin segwit postponed until the end of the year, and I think that's what caused the price of bitcoin previously will increase but not occur.
bitcoin likely will remain stable at $4000 until the end of August.
Bitcoins will reach this value by the end of 2017 but not by the end of August. For now, it is quite stable and I think it will maintain this value for few more weeks and it is best chance to grab bitcoins f you really want to see the bigger picture. Grab as many as you can to be the new millionaire!
6490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What opinion from people out there or people in your city about bitcoin? on: August 22, 2017, 06:14:09 AM
When I introduce bitcoin to some of my friends their first impression was it is a scam they don’t believe that from $200 it jump to $3500 and now almost $4500 but when I show them what I earn from bitcoin in just almost 2 months they got interested and start asking me how to do it. Bitcoin will attracts more people because of the price that it has today.
In my country, most of them believes that Bitcoin is a powerful tech stock that will be far much better than any they’ve used.
They also believe is the best part of investment as of now. Though not much is interested in Bitcoin in my country, and I think that is causing some limits. But when many starts to use it, we will be breaking boundaries.
6491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Created Bitcoin ? on: August 22, 2017, 03:58:32 AM
I think the creator of bitcoin was created by a group of people. Let's try to think something like this, we called it Project Bitcoin and the core team called Satoshi Nakamoto. It may consist a team of programmers or developers, beta testers, QA analyst, Cyber security team for blockchain network, a group of finance support team and a group of computing power team and a group of social-media like forums. But one thing for sure about bitcoin there's something about military involvement behind it , maybe an experiment for decentralized monetary system but if something goes wrong they try to control it or abandon it and let the citizens do the work. This could be a conspiracy theories but whatever purpose it may serve we still have benefit from it or we may never know the greater impact it may lead to the future. As long as it is flowing through the internet stream anonymity was just a falsehood, but as long as we earned it and use it for a good purpose then let's hail the rise of bitcoin.
,as I have heard from someone that maybe Satoshi Nakamoto is just a screen name, and just like you I certainly believe that bitcoin is not only done by only one person, maybe it is his/her ideas but its really hard to guess if that is only one person behind this big success in bitcoin.
Nobody really knows the real inventor. Satoshi Nakamoto is the name which represents the group of its creators. Mike Hearn can be a help in this matter but I do not get the point in searching more about Satoshi.

I am very Ok with the present facts and I know everyone's knowledge is same as mine in this matter. If Satoshi really wants to stay low profile, then let it be this way.
6492  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: August 21, 2017, 07:40:00 PM
everyone wants to be rich. It is clrearly that having much money will make our life happier. There are many people claiming that they do not need money. They are all fools and liars. I bet that they can not live a day without any amount of money Cheesy Therefore, try to make more money while you still can. Bitcoin is now a good field for everyone
Lol There is no doubt in this fact that money is sometimes more important than oxygen to live a happy life. There is nothing as powerful as money in the current era. Though many people say that money can’t buy you happiness but I believe otherwise. Money can give you all that you want even the desired life partner, lol.
6493  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: August 21, 2017, 06:46:41 PM
Who does not want to be rich? Everyone wants to be rich. But I do not think it's easy to get rich in an instant way. Even if you have your bitcoin. It will take some effort to benefit from bitcoin. The harder your business .. then your profits will be greater. I do not believe if you just silent and get rich ..
It is not actually correct. Imagine those people who purchased bitcoins in 2009 and sold them now became millionaires. Bitcoin profits depends more on luck. Bitcoin can be hardly earned but everyone can earn bitcoins in any amount. For starting maybe you can earn some low amounts but for sure, they will increase with your increasing experience.

The more you invest in bitcoins the more profit you get with a great knowledge and skills about trading, mining, etc. Bitcoin is meant to be earned. The less we spend bitcoins the more profit we get. Try to store more and more bitcoins and you will surely be rich by it.
6494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: August 21, 2017, 05:49:43 PM
Usually many people gamble to benefit from gambling. But it is a big mistake. We will not be able to rely on revenue from a gambling Because many people use gambling just to have fun
well its really depend from the person who played gamble since there's also some obvious people who loves to gamble and they are really relying
from this activity though for sure they are not always winning but they got a much better chance since they know how to play wisely while enjoying
as well.

That is for those people who have learned to limit or control themselves.  But majority of gambler failed to do so, so when they gamble, thinking that they will win a profit, they tend to give all even those money that is alloted to the family daily needs and when they lose they regret their action but will continue to play gambling thinking that they will book a profit in that gambling session.
Addiction is not that easy to shake off. It is a disease that makes you too selfish to see the havoc you created for the people whose lives you have shattered. You were never created to live depressed, defeated, guilty, condemned, ashamed or unworthy. You were created to be victorious, but never gamblers realize this.
6495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to spot a gambler addicted? on: August 21, 2017, 05:20:03 PM
An addicted gambler is the one who gambels everyday even if it's over his family time or social life. You should never loan your money to an addicted gambler, because you know he's not paying you back due to his huge depts.
well one of the factors is that mate, seeing a person who keeps on gamble even he already forgetting his obligations to his family,
i think most of them only thinks about how to win and they wont stop until they never win or they never lose huge.

That's mild addiction and it could be cured easily if one of family members would give them proper advice and gives him a good picture out on what would be his outcome in future if he keeps play that addictive games on the long run. But the most worst addiction I've see is when those people starting to sell their things just to have some money to bet on their games and this one needs a psychologist help to be cured.
In my whole life, I have never encountered gamblers (except this forum) but I know a little bit about addicts. We respond to the released hormones, either control the reaction or stop the action beforehand.

The best way is to talk to anyone who is near you and understands you. Who will not criticize your actions rather stand with you in the darkness and push you out of there. Believe me! Psychologists or psychiatrists are not much of a help.
6496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: give me some tips about trading?? on: August 21, 2017, 01:38:42 PM
hi I am new here..So I am start a trading in different market place.. can you give some tips about trading.now which exchanger is best for trading?

Are you in a hurry? First you must know what bitcoin is? Then learn its usages and its features too. Because, getting into Bitcoin trading is not that easy like you think. There are other community who has been here for a months and some are years already but still not in deep in doing trade because they're just copying what others did even its wrong. But here is the were at least you have basic starting point in doing trade https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1024457.msg11085774#msg11085774
good luck Smiley
There are masses that are in crypto trading for years but treating it as gambling where they just use their guesses or emotions to make decisions and often meet destruction in the end.
If one really jumps into bitcoins, he/she should have sound knowledge about bitcoins and trading. Only then one can succeed in trading and earn some good profit.
6497  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: August 20, 2017, 03:19:50 PM
An ideal cashless society is far from the reality, in India atleast. People have trouble getting good internet connections, many haven't used a computer in their lives too. When I try convincing some people to adopt BTC, they just shrug it off saying its just some HYIP/ponzi scheme. People have started using debit/credit cards/  netbanking to pay for stuff, but ideal cashless society is equipped with cryptocurrency, where the majority of the people of that society adopt cryptocurrencies, and that isn't happening anytime soon in India.
Not only India but almost in all third world countries, the condition is same. Many people are still not aware of online banking in these states, under such circumstances it would be really ludicrous to even imagine a cashless society. Even in the developed countries, cashless society is not possible for at least half century.
6498  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: August 20, 2017, 02:00:48 PM
I can say I know some people wich are working into crypto world and were able to keep and get a steady income from crypto doing trading and some others services, but in the general the earnings you may get aren’t enough to cover developed countries, but it does help others countries for sure.
Hmmm but in reality it only help those who're first world countries, those who've already in the more advanced phase of technology. I mean they are the only ones who could utilize it. But for those who're in the third world country well, they won't do much therefore this won't help them much.
Bitcoins are not limited to any particular state, race, color etc. anyone who have access to internet and know operating laptop can utilize bitcoins.
Developed countries do have edge in a way there the use of bitcoins is probably common and it is pretty easy to convert them into fiat. The under developed needs little more struggle to enjoy the perks.
6499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever regretted not gambling? on: August 18, 2017, 09:33:44 PM
No I don't regret not gambling anymore but I sometimes miss gambling. It taught me a lot and that's the reason why I'm not into it till this day.

Well, it's the closest thing give pride to us that gambling. Because the main thing I get after quitting gambling is peace of mind and our heart, where I no need to worrying about something which of course made me a bad person or a madman. Because it is in the gambling, I always get a lot of thoughts for the future. Gambling requires a very strong force and also a good self control, because without a good self control will definitely get a lot of losses
All important lessons in life are learnt by bad choices. But all is well that ends well and I am happy from the core of my heart for you guys. I admire your thinking and strength you showed to quit gambling. Every cloud has a silver lining and life is full of beautiful surprises. You people can help a lot of those who want to quit gambling but still are not able to do so. Stay blessed!
I admire the strength and determination they have shown in this matter. Giving up on addiction sounds easier than done. They probably set a good example for those who really want to quit gambling. No matter the situation, never let your emotions control your intelligence if one really wants to stay out of troubles.
6500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: August 15, 2017, 07:23:42 PM
One of my friend introduce to me the bitcoin, the first time i heard about this is i thought bitcoin is just a scam so i didnt start that time, and until i saw some good news about bitcoin and finally im here making money of money.

i am thinking the same like you but fortunately, after my friend telling me about bitcoin, i am directly searching on internet to know what is bitcoin and i found out that bitcoin is one of many source to make money. so i decide to search more info and how to earn bitcoin and finally i can start earning bitcoin in my first time.
Internet is the best source of gathering information, and also any sort of information. It is good to do your homework. Doing research by your own will enrich your knowledge more than any other way. If you have not yet started to earn digital gold, how about joining related face book groups and participating in some signature campaigns.
