5561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 26, 2019, 07:31:12 PM
What's the latest transfer rumors?

Here's what I got so far:
- Klay panning to leave if he does not get max contract from the Warriors. A potential replacement is Dion Walters
- JR Smith could be reunited with Lebron if he's waived or traded by the Cavs

What do you have?

And oh by the way, the NBA is now changing the term "owner" to "governor"  Grin

Looks like Rob Pelinka really hated Magic Johnson or he is backstabbing him.

Rumors are being scattered by now that D'Angelo Russell is at the top list of options of the Lakers to take.
We know about the decision made by Magic trading Russell just because what he needed is a leader.
Now, he says he is a different player and more mature.

6 players are just signed in for the Lakers, taking Russell would fill their cap space and might just get "not that good" players to complete their roster.

Lakers is just waiting for Kyrie to be signed in Nets. Yes. It is a signal that they dont want Kyrie with them.
5562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: US lawmaker: Facebook must delay Libra cryptocurrency on: June 26, 2019, 05:25:10 PM
Mark should start migrating his office to another country to prevent this from happening again.  Grin

They will keep on holding them and make way for other stable coins that will be used. USDT is one.
If Mark will make it as stable coins then it will be like a competition which will bring down the usage of USDT.
I bet they wont like that since the name of the crypto currency Mark is making is different than what USDT had offered.  Grin
5563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Youtube bitcoin advertisements everywhere. on: June 26, 2019, 04:15:38 PM

man you know that ads are focused on what you watch daily, i dont see alot of crypto comercials but i see alot of gaming one, it has nothing do do with anything.
Exactly, start watching cooking videos and blue apron and cooking classes ads will show up, this is just Google algorithms doing their thing.
Here is the answer.  Grin

It will be the suggested videos that will pop out once you watch about one thing consecutively. Same will go for advertisements.
When you are the highest paying then you will be the one who will pop out mostly for anything that is being watched.

Besides, for me this aint really a good sign. Just a sign for bitcoin to be a target again by scammers and other thieves that are in the shadows out here and everywhere in social media.
5564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 26, 2019, 12:55:11 PM
Look at this tweet by the Black Mamba.

It seems that Giannis Antetokounmpo is he's M.V.P since the beginning. Look how this legendary player Kobe Bryant showing support for the young ones, and he is rooting for Giannis Antetokounmpo for next championship ring. This young Giannis Antetokounmpo still has more room to grow, hell yeah MVP!
I'm still looking forward on how Milwaukee Bucks handle Giannis Antetokounmpo for the next games and seasons.

Giannis is young and maybe Kobe see himself with him.
Did not get the championship ring but yet is starting to make some records by now.
Staying healthy will be his key to make it to the end.
We all know he is already a strong player but is prone to injuries whenever he pentrates the paint.

Time to make some changes with his gameplay too. Add some shooting to scare the defense and never be predictable when he is holding the ball. That kind of length will be hard to reach if he can make some perimeter shots.
5565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Comments on deposit bonuses on: June 26, 2019, 06:13:57 AM
Play or Invest could be a reasonable one.

It cannot just be deposit and withdraw. Some measure should be done before they can give out certain amount of bonuses.
Maybe give them a number of how much they should play.

If the deposited amount is 1 BTC and the bonus will be .5 BTC then the very least a gambler could do is play until he reaches an amount where he already played 1 BTC win or lose doesnt matter.

With investing though, they could input the whole amount and then wait for a certain time.
5566  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When will Bitcoin bump into bottom again? on: June 25, 2019, 10:14:39 PM
Cant see signs for the next dump.
Looks like the Libra coin is still pulling it up.

I am guessing some investors are thinking the first option to buy that coin will be bitcoin and ETH before they can even use USDT and other stable coins for it.
Just a guess though. We cannot find some reasons behind this big pump that is happening by now.
5567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 25, 2019, 04:08:43 PM

Not even close and I'm happy that we have a new MVP. I'm sure that this will inspire Giannis more to play hard and bring his team to that NBA finals and a trophy.

So congrats to him and we hope that we will see him push a bit more next season.

It sure did inspire him. As he said it, "It is just the start".
He do want a championship although his Dad told him never to be greedy, a championship is still in his focus.
He was so emotional with his speech. That was a season MVP only. What if he does get the Finals crown and the MVP? Floor could be flooded with tears.  Grin

Lakers are always idiotic when it comes to financial management, they always fail at cap calculations and that has been a thing ever since Kobe was alone and playing there without getting any decent help until they got Odom and Gasol.

That will be one of their big problems starting now.
How can they stretch that little amount they have into getting good players.
They will need a second team when their stars are resting. Lebron is not getting younger and AD is a big man which need like 10 out of 48 minutes rest.
5568  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Breaks $10K Barrier – Where is all the Pump Coming From? on: June 25, 2019, 12:33:18 PM
I have the same question.
Since the Libra news it became so volatile.

Are they preparing all that bitcoin to buy the Libra coin?
Or is it just the same pump that happened last December 2017?

This questions are difficult to answer accurately. We just dont know where it is coming from since a lot of exchange are already out there. Better just prepare also for the worst.
5569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 25, 2019, 06:55:42 AM

It's Giannis who won the Kia NBA MVP

https://twitter.com/NBA

Congrats, I thought it's gonna be James Harden again, Lol, but Giannis deserves it though, powering his team to the ECF and just fell short to the eventual NBA champion Toronto Raptors.

I was just going to answer the harizen comment and this popped out.  Grin

My pick could have been.

Giannis as MVP and MDP.
Luka Dončić. We all saw how he became one who could lift a whole team in just minutes.
Lou Williams. This man should not be in the sixth man. He is like Iverson when he is out there with his offense.
Pascal Siakam. Oh Yeah! He deserve it.
Michael Malone. I do think he deserve this title. He doesnt need a superstar and yet he got Denver to number 2.

Congratulations to all those who will win this titles. It will now be glued to them whenever they will be analyzed.

Damn! I cried in Giannis speech.  Cry
5570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using BTC to send funds cross-border (in current day) on: June 24, 2019, 10:27:41 PM
But the recipient is unwilling to open any crypto related accounts currently and, due to AML,

Since there is AML already then I am guessing this are large amount converted vice versa.
Paypal could be one of your answers if he wont really try to create a wallet whatever reason he could have.

Now, you could just create a Paypal account and then put it all there. Give him the account name or log in details.
Worse case scenario will be, he doesnt know how to use the internet.  Grin
5571  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here are the speculations how $1M/BTC might be possible in 2020... on: June 24, 2019, 05:45:21 PM
We might want to stop thinking about that large amount of value of bitcoin in a year or 2.

There is this bad trendy thing that is ongoing outside this forum.
One is that bitcoin price is being pushed up so that crypto currencies will be seen by a large amount of people. Why?!
Libra. People will be introduced to bitcoin for starters and then there will be no difficult time to understand Libra afterwards.

Now, if that happens. A big dump will come again. They will take their money back in exchange for investing in another populated token.
That is why it is a scary market now.
5572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 24, 2019, 02:19:15 PM

So he has still that old grudge at Magic?  Grin

Haven't read the news about them shopping centers though, what happen Chandler or Javale not renewed?

They should get a good guard with good shooting %, probably D'Angelo might fit the bill for them, so I wouldn't be surprised if he goes back to the Lakers next season. I'm sure he will be elated to have a chance to play with those two to chase a ring.

That grudge will stay forever. He is hurt by what Magic said to him.
If ever Lakers want Russell then they need AD to take waive that $4m trade kicker in his contract. But I bet he wont. He is not type to surrender that amount just so to win one NBA Finals.
They will be short in cap space if they force Russell with them and what's left is little amount to get trash player as their 2nd stringers.

Kawhi Leonard though turned down his 2019-20 player option and is now UFA. This is going to be a crazy year of trades.
5573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [VIDEO] 10 Million Dollar Bitcoin End Game on: June 23, 2019, 12:52:15 PM
Thank you for that.
I guess this one is what we are missing by now.
We are too focused on different coins and tokens that are popping out everywhere.

We are forgetting how good bitcoin is. Right. A good reminder again and getting pumped up.
I do think even veterans here are getting bored of what is happening since a lot of coins are beginning created to take advantage of the technology which sometimes go to the wrong way.

Better stay with the trusted one. Bitcoin it is.
5574  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Initial Offerings Overpriced? on: June 23, 2019, 11:37:39 AM
Are you really going to get some answers here and apply it to your investing choices and decision?
Me?! No. I want to create my own investigations with this type of ICO's. That way you will not be blaming anyone or anything but just yourself.
Also, regrets will be on you and that is where you will rise again.

If it is overpriced for you then let it go. Pick another one which is cheap but have a better feature for the future.
ICO's now tend to die in just a year or even after ICO. Better look deeply in their management if they are that strong to stay finishing the roadmap.
5575  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price update reach 10,000$ on: June 23, 2019, 09:21:28 AM
Maybe it is a happy moment. But there is this scary thing as always of "what ifs".

If this goes to another bear run they will say it is just a correction and then another bear run they will say the first dump.
There will always be a reason for anything when it is in a bad swing. But the truth is chances of us being played is there. Manipulating the market just so to make an easy profit.
But I bet those are rich people if they could somehow make this happen.

I dont really know what is the reason behind all this bullish run. Is it really this time of the year where people are getting optimistic about cryptocurrencies?
5576  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance KYC on: June 23, 2019, 06:15:42 AM
Thanks for the replies.   And I'm happy to do KYC anytime it's required, but prefer to preserve my privacy when it's not required.

Looks like no one can answer this because of the high value of bitcoin.  Grin

Before I am also unverified with Binance and had not go thru 2 BTC.
I bet they also have that monthly limit because it will be a problem for them if that much amount is getting in and out everyday.
20k USD is a lot and actually banks are already questioning those kind of numbers.
Binance is centralized so they will have the same rule there.
5577  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: need help is YoBit.Net scam on: June 23, 2019, 05:02:22 AM
Get out of there.  Grin It is a time bomb that is ticking up until now.  Grin

There have been already a lot of reports here in this forum about Yobit which have been holding funds from traders.
Me personally have the same experience.
Lots of trolls there also which may be their employees too so that they could create more money.
Holding withdrawals just so to prevent people from making money.

Listing trash coins with a dust value then suddenly going to zero after some people bought it. It is a mess out there.
Just go to the trusted ones and find your way if you want to make money. A straight way.
5578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 23, 2019, 03:55:00 AM
But who is really on the trend now?
The 44th draft pick for the Miami Heat and then traded to Denver. Bol Manute Bol. Let us see what this big guy can do in NBA. Will he surpass his father?!

I knew it, I remember the surname Bol as a tall NBA players in the past, I saw some highlights from this center but I don't think his son will be better than him, but anyway that's remain to be seen, I just don't see the body and his height is just 7′ 2″, we have that height in the NBA with bigger body.
The era of his father is different so it's possible that he can surpass him. There's a lot of leg room for the younger one to develop his NBA career so let's see what he can offer to us, specially with that height. He can be a good big man shooting the ball outside to help Denver to confuse the opposing team.

Good analysis.
Indeed it is a different era now. Any tall player who can shoot the ball in perimeter or the 3 point line will be worth the minutes in game.
That is how GSW plays are made although they are not tall but they have shooters confusing the defense.

If he can also do post up, it will be better. Just like what Jokic is doing. Post up then wait for the play to ripen to get a better percentage shot.
Big guys who have a greater range of seeing the whole floor can do this.

Rumors are out there and it looks like Lakers are looking for a center.
DeAndre Jordan or Vucevic are their options.

Another rumor is D’Angelo Russell is interested again to sign with Lakers since Magic is not there anymore.  Grin
5579  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000 is around the corner on: June 22, 2019, 07:05:51 AM
It already happened and I am not really happy about it.
I thought it is going to happen at least a month and yet it just took days. I am seeing another fall might happen anytime.
Hold your grounds and grab tight to your seat belts. This could be another fake pump and there must be someone or some group behind this that are just making profits for those who will FOMO.

I would rather not buy at this moment. Just going to savor every minute of it.
5580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 22, 2019, 04:41:17 AM

Atlanta Hawks really has a nice set of picks this draft class but due to trade talks, I don't know how they will end up. Literally, like a Lakers back then, full of young players.

But if the chemistry works it will be a good piece of art. Young guns taking over the NBA, but they will have to go thru some pioneers and one example is Kawhi which aint normal when the game is on hand.

New blood will be getting spilled in the next season, I hope that will be great since we will be seeing new great players and how will be the next NBA shift from now on. Some say Zion will be the leading man here but I see more great players. I don't know if anyone can recognize here that Bol Bol, son of Manute Bol is drafted and I think he is underrated. Maybe from his injury but I think he will be a great player. A 7ft player with the hands of a good Shooting guard, that would be great.

That huge of a player like Bol and Zion are prone to injuries in their feet and that is why I also didnt mention a lot about Zion. It will be a good thing if he could land on his feet every game like Lebron does.
That is also why I will go for RJ Barrett. This guy almost have the perfect figure. Polishing his skills will be easy as long as he will not be injured.
He can also get the best record if he could perfect the attendance in each game instead having a monster game but with incomplete game played.
He have that "Pippen like" figure which is almost perfect.

Oh! Let us not forget the curse of the 1st pick. Grin
