5561  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-03-24] Elon Musk - now you can buy a Tesla for bitcoin on: May 18, 2021, 11:54:18 AM
Undoubtedly, green technologies will prevail in the future, but now the stability of the bitcoin network depends on the capacity that miners consume, why not pay attention to the gold producers or the same banking sector, which, as the Galaxy Digital report showed, consumes more than twice as much electricity per year as is used for mining in the bitcoin network 263.72 TWh in the bitcoin network, this indicator is 113.89 TWh per year Smiley https://www.scribd.com/document/508170253/Galaxy-Digital-Mining-On-Bitcoin-Energy-Consumption#from_embed

This is interesting, from this I can say it's safe to use bitcoin than the huge foot print fiat leaves....btw how did elon musk come to a conclusion that bitcoin is bad for business when there is something far worse than bitcoin mining itself???

Honestly These guys ought to do their research before coming on to these public platforms to condemn something!

If he so wishes let him go for stablecoins to avoid spreading FUD to hurt the crypto markets.
5562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh, market manipulation is finally bad now? on: May 18, 2021, 08:16:27 AM
How come almost on-one didn't bat an eye when Elon was pumping BTC by tweeting about it? In fact people were encouraging him to tweet about BTC or doge, and now it's suddenly market manipulation and potentially illegal when he is tweeting shit about it and it's going down?
I thought his intentions where known, and the fact that this information is in public domain of him investing over 1.5 billion in crypto, all these tweets presented a bias view of the market which were no surprise to anyone?

But what I didn't understand about all his tweets is why smear bitcoin when you have interest  in the coin, could this be manipulation of other whales to buy cheaper coins from them? Because I know he knows speculations are big in the world of crypto, you can't say something and get away with it, markets will react but he chose that path anyway!

Bitcoin will not be able to stay above $50k for 10 consecutive days ever again
Ever again?? Does this mean bitcoin price won't ever break it's all time high based on this statement?

BTW what are you basing your statement on, is bitcoin dying?

Is what we seeing on the markets the doing of Elon Musk with his tweets linking bitcoin mining to the increased carbon footprint ?

FYI this statement raises more questions than answers Roll Eyes
5564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC down , does the altcoin will keep strong on: May 17, 2021, 03:59:00 PM
Times have changed, usually what usually happened when the market was painted red starting with Bitcoin, other altcoins followed the red trend but today that's not happening, we seeing a few more coins showing green which could mean they have strong communities or this could imply people are not cashing out but actually holding.
5565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The dude makes $50k every day from dogecoin scams on: May 17, 2021, 03:50:33 PM
Honestly these are the kind of scams that give crypto a bad name because people are promised riches and people are quick to put some money into these schemes not knowing its a scam, its unfortunate that people don't understand that there is no such a business that will pay you more than 100% in a short time for doing nothing.

Guys let's invest some time to do some research into such projects selling dreams.
5566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: May 17, 2021, 12:58:07 PM
Nadal wins the final set 6-3 after losing the second 6-1.

Master of the clay out, his definitely in his element, congrats to the lad for his 10th Rome Masters title.

While on the ladies side we have Iga Swiatek who was the 15th seed won Karolina Pliskova 6 love 6 love close to a reverse scoreline against her twin sister,

for a final this was a ruthless score line perhaps lack of respect to some degree from the teenager, i guess age is everything in a game of sport.

Congrats to IGa on Breaking top 10

5567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone on Tiktok said that Bitcoin will go down zero if founder show up! on: May 16, 2021, 05:41:26 PM
Bitcoin going to zero how is that possible?

What happens with the lost coins, don't those hold any value to prevent a zero draw down?

And honestly such statements are made to make people to panic sell when in truth btc still has a lot of potential.
5568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What'sa good alternative for USDT? (Searching for good stablecoins) on: May 16, 2021, 05:20:03 PM
Tether has been my first stablecoin but because of the shady ways it's found its self on the market and all the dishonesty surrounding the coin I tend not to be so much invested in stablecoins, though my best is tron based usdt.

Other alternative erc20 Stablecoins have not been attractive because of high ethereum transaction fees but will look into this once again.

5569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 16, 2021, 03:57:20 PM
Am watching the westbrom vs Liverpool match and the Reds are down 1 goal to nil and  seem to be under pressure which makes me to think this top four finish won't be realised!

Thought westham would challenge by winning yesterday's match, unfortunately they failed and now Liverpool seems to be on the same road to losing. I guess the top 4 will remain as it is!
5570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 16, 2021, 10:48:19 AM
West Ham United blew a big chance for top 5 today. I couldn't believe how they get only draw against Brighton & Hove Albion. Moyes didn't even use his substitution rights, we saw only 1 change for West Ham.
On paper Westham United looked like they were the favourites to win...

but the game turned out to be difficult and in the last minutes of the game they we actually trailing the game when Brighton scored first and were forced late on to equalize to rescue a point from the game.
I actually give them some credit for not giving up on their top four finish.

Why couldn't he give chance to Yarmolenko?
Maybe the fitness coach declared he wasn't 100% fit.

Obviously this score is Liverpool's benefit most. Everton and Tottenham can reach same point as West Ham too if they win their matches tomorrow.
Let's wait and see, games are becoming unpredictable with the few games remaining.
5571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MemeCoins becoming the new Shitcoins on: May 16, 2021, 10:40:08 AM
I understand doing something similar to what is trending is a good short term business, but with nothing to offer besides being a meme coin or built on speculations, it's clear these are after our genuine coins like eth and the devs or owners of the coin can easily pull of an exit scam leaving us with worthless coins.

Let's try to do our due diligence before investing in new projects.
5572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burning of cryptocurrency on: May 16, 2021, 08:07:11 AM
I have listen about burning of cryptocurrency. I am a little bit confused what does burning mean, I will be thankful if anybody explain this.
In layman's terms this means destroying some coins from the total supply with the intention to stimulate demand to go up. This act just boarders around the laws of supply and demand, the lower the supply the more demand we have and the higher the supply the likely hood of low demand.

And I have seen major percentage of coins hold by this address 0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dead.
To whom this address belong? Is there anyone have access of this address ?
Didn't take a look but crypto addresses are not like a house number , these can belong to anyone unless the address has been posted in public to make the connection.
5573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there so many negative posts about BTC lately? on: May 16, 2021, 06:45:43 AM
It's funny how they choose to attack bitcoin which is at the top when there are other coins in line with the hope of doing so, dogecoin get in line and let's face the facts you shall forever remain a meme coin with nothing else to offer.

There are many reason why people put or post negative post about BTC late, some are perhaps  disappointed over bitcoin it did not exceeds their expectation over something such as the price
Bitcoin has done exceptionally welcome!

Which asset can you invest in today and match the ROI as bitcoin...I guess it's few to non.

5574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 15, 2021, 09:42:00 PM
Well I said that Leicester will come to play their best football but I did not expect Chelsea not to score as they had some good chances to do so. Anyway, Leicester deserved the win today and big grats to them as they have a long season and they still did not went out of fuel to win at least a trophy. For Chelsea all is left is to try and win the UCL.
We all know how much Leicester likes to turn up the competition when they know the club is considered a big team, and they are good at it.

And tbh I think the boys deserve more silverware for the work the putting in ever since they came into the premier league and some consistency is been shown here. Am hoping this lose by Chelsea doesn't affect them in any way as they await to face City in the coming week.
5575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Elon musk launches his own coin? on: May 15, 2021, 06:08:32 PM
It might or might not  do fine, but seeing how much his moved dogecoin, I think the coin can do fine.

But I see one problem here, him being located in the USA will he be registering a company away from this jurisdiction to avoid any unnecessary tension with the law, compliance checks and all??

Well the sky is the limit let him shot for the stars.
5576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 15, 2021, 05:26:36 PM
We have had on average a minimum of 4 goals per game since Manchester City opened this round of games...what's happening are players showing a sign of motivation or these guys have dropped their guard and taking things at ease??

I think I can bet on West Ham to win... Odds of 2.3 are very attractive! Wink They need to score points to get into the UEFA tournament! And it's much easier to do it with the underdogs...
I hope West Ham can keep up, if am not wrong this is one of their best seasons such that the have come this close to the top four, they won't give up easily and am backing them for a win too.

5577  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: May 15, 2021, 02:02:50 PM
Before start playing ive read mostly the rules and the FAQ of the different gambling platforms, I want to try on and I saw the withdrawal requirement of the rollbit. Also for other future players who would like to play too that they have this kind of rule for their users if you want to withdraw your funds. I don't have any problem with this because it's their own rule if you don't want to agree with it they cant do it's your choice.

I think this is now a normal procedure for the gambling site that don't wanna be use for abusing from those accounts that only use their gambling site as Exchange.

Valid point but depositing a $10 and asking you to wager $100 this an obvious case that the house will win, guaranteed!

They should atleast say something that you must wager the full amount before you can withdraw or a 1.5X would save it's purpose from allowing people from cleaning their coins or exchanging them.

Regardless lose your first $100 and there after you are in Roll Eyes

BTW Rollbit team can we get crash on the platform,it would be nice to play it there Smiley
5578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best Sport to bet on ? on: May 15, 2021, 11:07:34 AM
I think it has to be football because it's not only popular but it's not always that the bookies favourite team will win which makes it easy to bet on the underdog to win some good money, and you also get to use records perfectly preserved to find stats, form and everything else.

And made not relevant to this but FIFA as in the video game could be another reason why it's popular.
5579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge is to hold should not be trading on: May 15, 2021, 07:20:25 AM
I strongly believe Doge will be a sustainable incremental coin, with the help of Tesla. And I believe in the management of Elon Musk, the number 1 billionaire in the world.
Sustainable you say...no chance!

This coins survival depends on a billionaires speculative tweets other than that it can not survive on its on!.

If only we can challenge Elon Musk to stop with his tweets and see if dogecoin is as independent as the picture being painted right now.

Quote
Do you guys agree with me that Doge is the world's largest community-owned coin. And the US and EU communities are very fond of Doge
No it's not , who promoted it to this.

5580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance is investigated by the IRS - BNB fell sharply today from $660 to $540 on: May 15, 2021, 05:33:45 AM
Come on, this is not the first time price has corrected!

Sometimes let's see things as they are, market was just in a correction and this happened as a coincidence with this news, by the way if binance isn't a USA registered company doesn't that kind of go against diplomatic ways of doing business or international laws I suppose.
