If Serie A and La Liga have to do something to choose winners and spots for Champions League and Europa league next year, play off tournaments are good. It is not fair to arbitrarily choose winners without such tournaments. It is surely a hard decision but from my opinion, there is no other good choices if all leagues won't manage to continue and finish all matches.
The same will go for other leagues, but for now Italy and Spain are the most affected nations from the pandemic. We will have better picture on Germany and England next two weeks or even four weeks.

How did you scraped all those useful data in this forum? Are you using any sort of Database Management System like MySql, MariaDB etc.? I don't scrape data. What I do is using available data dumps from loyceclub, then playing with statistical software. You can find loyceclub at (Un)official pages that store forum dataTo scrape data, you have to set up appropriate time for your alt account because the forum has a strict rule if one scrapes data too fast, AFAIK. This is people who scrape data only use their alt accounts for this task. |

Time passes so fast. As a blink of eyes, 10 weeks passed and as consequences of Covid-19 and the shitty period, I missed updates for the past 10 weeks. I come back this week with update but I have to re-read dofiles and go through what I did 10 weeks ago (that is why I always try to keep my updates work weekly). Almost forgot what I did, so it takes time to make updates. I planned to make a quarterly summary besides weekly updates. Stay tuned, guys. |

Not only English premier league authority is concerning about "covit-19" but also worldwide sports organizers are facing this pandemic issue. Its quite hard to make any prediction about corona virus. After publishing recent " The Washington Post" report about Atalanta VS Valencia that this champion league match worked as a biological bomb which creates the massive corona outbreak in Italy. No. That match should be called as a biological bomb that triggers outbreaks of Covid-19 from Italy to Spain, then spreading around the Europe. Italy, itself, had the epidemic before that match already. I don't think worldwide sports authorities will take quick decision to continue their leagues or any matches sooner until WHO (World Health Organization) declare anything positive about centuries biggest pandemic ever. Although situation of "Covit-19" is getting worse day by day. WHO emphasized that the world has still had a second window to beat the pandemic, the first one was missed already by hesitation of the European nations and the USA. Now, we started to see more serious actions from many governments and that can help the world to beat the pandemic. The fight will last for months, at least the next quarter but if the world can fight against it together, we can beat the pandemic, with less expensive costs. If these epidemics in Italy and Spain show good signals next one month, those nations will be two new lessons for the rest of the world. After China, and somewhat South Korea, we know nations can beat the virus, with serious actions for effective containments. |
