5582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Coin2 [C2] - The forward thinking altcoin with a plan. on: April 09, 2014, 11:27:09 AM
I will ask again :

I think you are missing a step.

When you have exchanged your old Coin2 for the new Coin2 (PoS Version) version, you can simply transfer them to your new Coin2 (PoS version) wallet. Nobody says that you have to trade them on Bittrex. If Bter decides to trade the new Coin2 (PoS version) you can simply transfer your coins from your wallet to Bter.

If you are holding your old Coin2 at Bter simply because you love the exchange and won't budge on this, you will lose them.

Please understand, none of this wanted this to happen. The problem is the old Coin2 (PoW) will always have the possibility of getting hit with a 51% attack. In order to avoid this from happening we have to switch to a new version of Coin2 (PoS version). This will technically be a new coin so the exchanges will have to decide to trade them.

We chose Bittrex because they are based in America, answer our emails and have a team of competent people that a few of us have talked to in the past. They didn't pay us any money for this to happen.

but how come Bter will withdraw old C2 to new C2 wallet??
This is a part I do not understand.

Like I say - I keep C2 @Bter.
And now if they wont change old C2 to new C2 - how we will be able to withdraw our C2 from OLD wallet on Bter to new C2 wallet?

So make it clear:
If someone have coins at Bter - what he need to do?
Transfer them to the wallet? And then to Bittrex?
Or just from Bter to Bittrex?

And why Bter will not use "New coin2" Huh

and no one told ou when it will be released? This new ... wallet.

it doesn't make sense.

Explain to people trading @Bter what they need to do with their Bter C2 coins?
...

and how Bter will unfreeze accounts IF they will still use OLD coins??

This do not make sense for me.

5587  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000 when? on: April 09, 2014, 11:21:47 AM
My prediction is another pop before $10k so around this time next year seems a good time scale in my eyes.

Last year same time ~90$.
This year ~450$

Smiley
450 / 90 = 5.

Next year same time 450 * 5 = 2250$

So - 2016 April = 2250 * 5 = > 10000$ Smiley

So - 2016 10k possible IMO Smiley

0.5btc for full member
3 btc for the hero member acc.
Regards

3 BTC?!?!!? Tell you what, if I reach Hero status I'll put it up for 2btc. Wink

And for 2 or even 3 btc you will waste all that time you spend in here??

Pff ... If this is legal I can sell my account for 1000BTC

Actually, ome to think of it, the time spent on a account isnt worth a few btc..

of course it is not!
Like I say - 1000BTC would be ok, any lower - I would laugh.
My Bitcointalk account is much better than 2 or 3 or even 5 or 7 bitcoins Smiley
5589  Other / Off-topic / Re: You are transported to January 2013. What do you do? on: April 09, 2014, 11:18:33 AM

Bought 1 year of college education for $6,000, unable to sell. Profit = $0.

Thats an expensive year of education, is that just tuition fees?

6k$ is not a lot ..
I paid 10k$ for 3.5 years of education in Poland ...

5595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Cold Storage: Laptop? on: April 09, 2014, 11:14:28 AM
Further to the fact that for long term cold storage a physical medium is likely better it is very trivial to remove the laptops wifi card and can easily be put back in if it is no longer needed for cold storage.

And what you will do if your HDD fails in your laptop? Which is happening every day to many users? Smiley
5596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: BitGold trading thread - selling 31.25 GOLD | Extremely rare coin! on: April 09, 2014, 11:13:43 AM

It doesn't sounds good - bit + gold Tongue

So this is great ....

People who have coins at Bter will lost them if not transfer them to Bittrex - great news.
Super.

How much bittrex paid you for this??/

I do not want to trade there, I think Bittrex is shit.

C2 will die because of that issue.
Great.
