5581  Economy / Economics / Re: Low BTC price is good for Bitcoins at the moment. on: September 22, 2015, 05:24:55 PM
I disagree, the only thing that brings new users to Bitcoin is positive media coverage.
Low prices will not cause that to happen.

A rise to 400 dollar on the other hand would bring some good attention Cheesy
5582  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: September 22, 2015, 05:22:08 PM
I'm now testing genesis mining and I'll see how long the lifetime miningcontracts run.
With 0.25 TH I'm earning just under a dollar per day, not too great Smiley
5583  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Selling Bitcoin ~ Help me on: September 22, 2015, 05:19:08 PM
You should be able to use Kraken or any other European exchange.

You'd have to pay a small fee though..
5584  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trading - Paypal on: September 22, 2015, 05:17:28 PM
I've recently bought some bitcoins with Paypal through Paxful instead of using Virwox, like I usually do.
Quite a number of vendors on there that earn a lot from the fees, but they are taking a certain amount of risk for that.

I would check it out and see which verification methods they use, since it's pretty risky for you because of possible chargebacks.

I remember sending like 0.4 btc to the wrong address back when Bitcoin was still at around $1000

You can remove me from this campaign.
I'm unable to post on a regular basis the next few weeks/months, due to my dad being diagnosed with cancer.

5589  Economy / Exchanges / Re: who is the owner of poloniex ? on: September 01, 2015, 10:22:46 PM
Poloniex owner is Tristan D'Agosta.
And yeah, I consider Poloniex a safe exchange.

5590  Economy / Gambling / Re: AnyChance Of A New Bitvegas Minecraft Casino? on: September 01, 2015, 10:18:00 PM
I don't think we will be seeing something like that again, guessing it's a huge amount of work to keep everything up to date with all the Minecraft updates.
Plus, popularity is really going downhill lately, I don't think we'll see a sudden surge in popularity.
5591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: September 01, 2015, 10:09:37 PM
As long as you're not spending/wagering more than you can afford to lose, I don't see a problem with it.
I've personally been lucky a few times, winning pretty big amounts with only small bets.
5592  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: QoinPro.com - Free BTC, DOGE, LTC, FTC, VTA every 24 hours automatically on: September 01, 2015, 10:06:30 PM
Pretty sure it is a scam, admin would have left a message with an explanation is it wasn't.
Anyway, was never gonna make money through that site anyway, even with like 50 referrals, still not making anything substantial.
5593  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Bitcoin Faucet and Games on: September 01, 2015, 09:56:51 PM
Nice website, but you should consider using faucetbox for handling payouts.
I'll register and see if it pays out Smiley

And why can't you choose your own password, that's kinda dumb to be honest :-/
5594  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How do coinbase make money on: September 01, 2015, 07:59:51 PM
Just wanted to comment. If you decide to buy anything on the dark web. Don't use your coin base account..

There are many good things on the dark web, such as prescriptions. You can save a lot.. But that's just what I've heard Wink

coinbase will trace your transaction like gambling
http://cointelegraph.com/news/113207/coinbase-is-tracking-how-users-spend-their-bitcoins
These are some questionable practices for sure, I'd personally avoid them.

But to stay on topic, how can they not be profitable, they're hugely popular and their 1% fees are pretty high.
5595  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Looking to buy a Logo mad for my site on: September 01, 2015, 07:53:09 PM
Hi, i need a Logo for my site and my art sucks. This is the URL: http://bitcoinfaucetrelay.com . Please display The logo in the post and the winner will receive 500,000 satoshi. best regards , Penny
I would definitely raise the prize a little bit and post this thread in the services section of the forum.
If you want a decent logo, I would offer something like 0.05 btc minimum.
5596  Economy / Economics / Re: Google Ad Revenue on: September 01, 2015, 07:49:29 PM
I am assuming you are talking about youtube? I have never heard of pewdipie, but viewbots would only work for videos I would guess.

My experience with Google ad revenue has been great. I have run multiple sites and supported myself in whole from ad revenue from my sites. Most of the income was coming from local traffic on my blogs.

I have run faucets too, and the ad revenue can vary incredibly depending on the country of the users. Ad clicks from Indonesia never paid more than $0.10 and rarely more than $0.01. On the other hand, valid clicks from the United States rarely paid less than $0.50 and I have had 1 click pay as high as $45.00. So it is just a numbers game.

I got one time 12.5$ per click from one of my travel blogger blog and some movie related blogs gets as low as 0.1 USD. So it is all based on traffic from which country and from which keyword user used to go to your blog.
Indeed, revenue is hugely based on country and content. It all depends on the amount of competition from advertisers on certain keywords.
5597  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitSafe - Bitcoin Savings Bank on: September 01, 2015, 07:45:07 PM
You should honestly be offering people $0.20 to test it instead of asking they pay it out of their own pocket.

I don't think the design looks professional and the interest rates are very low.
5598  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BEWARE AMAZON using Gift Cards on: September 01, 2015, 07:41:54 PM
I would definitely contact amazon though and share with them where you purchased those gift cards.
5599  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is invest a good way to flex your btc? on: September 01, 2015, 07:36:53 PM
The market is a little too volatile for me to invest in any long-term opportunities.
Though it's pretty good for day trading.
5600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Why I'm releasing a brainwallet cracker at DEFCON 23" on: September 01, 2015, 07:35:28 PM
it seems the best way to create a nxt brain wallet is by using a combination of data only you know. say phone numbers,  addresses, and chinese/japanese characters. Then mix it up with your own password. good luck trying to guess that and no way in hell would you forget it nor the need to write it down.

right now nxt has the ability to host bitcoin addresses via the multigateway, in effect giving nxt the ability to host your other coins with just one passphrase.

www.jnxt.org/nxt -- login with account to test it out: NXT-MRCC-2YLS-8M54-3CMAJ
Yeah indeed, it's also best to use some words that can't be found in dictionaries and add special characters in front of and in between words.
Plus you'd need to use a passphrase of at least 64 characters.
