I don't want to raise my hopes up. We had similar run of good results in the 2018/2019 season. Losing only once but we all know how it ended.
You're correct, in the last couple of seasons Liverpool have thrown away numerous chances to win the league, it's now looking more like a jinx, they have started really well this season and their fans have their spirits lifted high, but I know each and everyone of them is trying not to blow trumpets yet, they know their team can blow it, as they have done in the past.

Liverpool face Manchester City on the 10th of November, I think that match is going to decide alot in the title race, if Liverpool can manage to win city, then they will be making a big statement that they ain't blowing their chances this time around
5582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin beat Bank interest rates and inflation. :-> on: October 28, 2019, 07:40:47 AM
Banks simply hold your money for you, there is no such thing as volatility or possibility of any loss, their interest ad on is low, but I do not really expect it to be any higher. Thats one of the reasons bitcoin was created, to create an opportunity for people to purchase an asset, one that you can choose to use as a payment option whenever you so desire, or you could hodl it, with the possibility of it rising and increasing your profit.

There is risk involved when trading with bitcoin, more risk though when it's day trading, but preferably it's best to buy when the prices fall due to unending FUD and rumours, that's the time to buy bitcoin, "on the news" and sell when the prices go up, because with what I've seen, prices must always go up.
5583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 28, 2019, 05:48:04 AM
The sad story about premier this year is Manchester United, how can be the richest club in the world such a bad team like this?
Club wealth has nothing to do with their current performance on the field of play, it's usually accumulated over a long period of time, this isn't the first time united would top that list, they are usually within the range of 1-3 since the time of Ferguson, and seeing them there should not surprise you, take a look at how much they spend on players, for sure they should be one of the richest, if not the richest.

In addition, I think Ole gunner Solskjaer just saved his job with that away Victory against Norwich, anything but a win could have had the board thinking about replacing him, I just hope he can build on this victory and start picking up wins more often.
5584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 27, 2019, 09:18:46 PM
It's high time Unai Emery left Arsenal, to avoid further embarrassment,  his tactics is awful,  I don't know how a coach will have a good player like Ozil and still bring in Saka,
Anyway I feel those in control of VAR are misusing it,  I don't think the refree ought to cancel the third goal Arsenal scored,  also awful decision again from Man Utd First  penalty,  VAR officials shouldn't have given the penalty
I think Ozil and Arsenal have an internal problem they need to sort out, but if you ask me Ozil isn't the solution to Arsenals woes, he has been giving many opportunities in the past to prove his worth, but he is still barely above average, he lacks desire and you cannot see it in his eyes that he is willing to play out his heart for Arsenal, I do not have a problem with Ozil being on the bench, I have a problem with Arsenal every time and again not spending good money on good players during transfer windows.

VAR is still barely three months old in the EPL and definitely there must be criticisms, other than the errors they've probably been making, I think it takes them too long to make a decision, it's almost like they themselves are confused in there, I can only hope things get better.
5585  Other / Meta / Re: How to get merit? on: October 27, 2019, 08:23:27 PM
Your account is nearly two years old, but you've not earned any merits, could be that your texts are poorly written.

It's almost the forums birthday, so you can create an art, go over to10th anniversary art contestand submit it, Theymos as well as other members would be giving out tons of merits for good art.

Goodluck as you try out some other option. Cool
5586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 27, 2019, 08:00:47 PM
A lot worse? Have you ever seen the Juventus of last year?
This Juventus is playing 70 times better.
I do not see how juve are playing better this season, I've watched a couple of their games and they seem to struggle, going over the same routine trying to scrap out a goal from somewhere, there is just no fluidity in the team at the moment.

They can only thank their starts they are still top, as inter blew away their chance of going top of the table, inter look like the team destined to win the seria A this season, I know it's definitely an uphill task to finish the season ahead of juve, but if they continue with this horrendous performance of theirs, then conte and his men may just nip them to the title.
5587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project Team and Cryptocurrency AMA on: October 27, 2019, 06:04:23 PM
"Asking the team anything"is wonderful, there is no doubt that it could be a way of understanding more about the project as well as what they intend to do with their product, it's promotion and use.

Aside from this AMA not being a guarantee for a successful project, I think the investors and hunters of most altcoin bounties asks the wrong questions when they are giving such opportunities. I've been privy to participate in such session and the majority of the questions were on when the project would list, how many exchanges do they plan on listing, How long would it take the project to get to the moon etc.

Such irrelevant questions aren't supposed to be asked, questions on use cases and how the product would operate on the blockchain network is what I expect people to ask when this opportunity is presented to them, this way the team is tasked and it'll be known if indeed they have any plans.
5588  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Warning ! Don't handover your fund to third party. on: October 27, 2019, 03:44:10 PM
How can one even be so dumb so as to allow someone else trade for them, what sort of expertise and unique skill do the mangers or admins of such group have. No one trades without losses and even those self proclaimed experts would still incur losses as they trade for others, and worse of all is they are at the liberty of running away with the funds deposited to them by naive enthusiasts.

If you cannot trade on your own, if learning all there is to learn about trading is proving a difficult task for you, then try using your money for a different thing entirely, going an extra length in employing a "perfect" trader can only have a devastating effect.
5589  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just now achieved 800 merit. (Motivational post for newbies) on: October 27, 2019, 01:21:41 PM
I see there are grateful people whom you gave merit, I don’t need it at all, but I can tell you one thing that annoys many people, including me. Do not put spaces before punctuation marks. This rule also applies to the exclamation point and question mark.
Does this really matter in any way here on the forum, as long as OP isn't writing an essay or a composition that'll be scored or graded, then this little error you pointed out is inconsequential.

On this forum what's of most importance is the content of your posts, as long as the post makes sense and it can be understood when read,  then it's clearly acceptable. On the grounds of syntax which has to do with how grammatically correct a sentence is, the post may be wrong, but it's not a problem if it's semantically correct.
And I do not see how this punctuation error makes OP's posts either unreadable or incoherent.
Op is one of those users whose native language isn't English, the more reason why he deserves some applauds.
5590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 27, 2019, 11:45:03 AM
4:30pm Norwich 1-3 Man Utd
I could agree in all the games except probably this, I can not remember the last time Manchester United scored three goals in a match, I'm not saying united cannot come out with a victory in this one, but scoring three goals looks very difficult for united to do this season.

Norwich are an exciting side and are really attack minded, and they're aware of United's poor form, this would give them momentum and desire to try and exploit in, I think this game would end in a draw. A goal apiece.
5591  Other / Meta / Re: Give moderators the option to demerit when a post is deleted on: October 27, 2019, 10:07:15 AM
Did you forget that almost every user on this forum, even the best of posters usually have posts of theirs deleted, sometimes users have multiple posts, even those made a very long time ago deleted my moderators.

I see no connection between posts deleted and demerit options, sometimes a post could be good to others, but not to a moderator and the post could be deleted, other times a post could be deleted simply because there have been numerous threads about it already, just like yours here. So I do not see how deleted posts should correlate with the user losing a merit in the process, if the user was a terrible poster then they wouldn't earn any merit to lose in the first place.
5592  Other / Meta / Re: The future of Bitcointalk: Low Ranking Top Merit earners in the past 30 days on: October 27, 2019, 08:03:36 AM
I will give you an example. If you merit a Member rank user and his current merits are 60-70 and he'e been around for a year in same rank, give him bulk 30 and make him full member. In this way he will not have to wait for another 5 months  - 6 months to move up.
Similarly you merit a Full member who has 200 Merits already, give him bulk 50 and make him Sr. Member if he's been around sometime and regular and make good posts.
There are a few constraints to this idea, the post must be hell good for it to earn that much merit that would rank up the user, and if you're to go through the users history to start meriting previously made post, then you must be giving something within the range of 5 merits per post.

For someone who's not a merit source, I doubt they'll have that much merit to spend, and for the merit sources it'll mean spending their entire months allocation(or almost)on one users which would hinder them from giving out merits and also ranking up other users all through out the month.

That would still lead to more complaints by others, the thing is honestly ranking up shouldn't be a hasty process, just like moving from one grade to another, the system may not be the quickest for now, but at least it's working, once you're a good poster you must rank up, no matter how long it takes.
5593  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: (How to) monetize gains if coin is traded on Coinsbit only on: October 26, 2019, 07:33:11 PM
This is really stupid that this coin you are reffering to is only listed in one exchange.
I think the coin OP is talking about is one of those new ICO coins that just got listed, they usually get listed on one exchange for a start and either die off on the exchange or manage to list somewhere else.

I wouldn't support allowing someone else from a different country to withdraw your coins for you, you should try and hold the coin for sometime to see if they'll get listed on another exchange that'll be easier for you to withdraw, afterall there is a high possibility that the coin may be worth nothing right now.
I think there are ways to make money on the trading platform. You can use margin, trade or stake transactions there. I am using the Binance platform, I make money every day there, be wise and always know that the higher the profit, the greater the risk!
I think you're in the wrong thread, look and read the OP again!
5594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 26, 2019, 10:37:33 AM
Man City vs Aston Villa are competing today
Manchester City are always expected to win when they come up against smaller opponents and what do you expect, just take a look at the gulf in class between the two teams, it is enormous.

But things do not always go as planned, few times this smaller teams do throw a spanner in the wheel and things go differently, that may be possible in this lunchtime kick-off game.
Do not forget that city have an uneding list of injured players, and the latest players to join that list are zinchenko and the ever present Rodrigo, I'll love to see how city play without Rodri today and who comes into the defense, it's going to be an interesting game, I forsee no thrashing.
5595  Other / Meta / Re: Merit source and signaturetalk.org on: October 26, 2019, 09:58:07 AM
Enough of the remove signature from the forum entirely! If you're tired of seeing paid signatures you can post more on the IT or SD boards, there you do not get to see the signatures that users have on.

This discussion has been going on for too long now, and honestly I do not think the effect of signature spam is so much on the forum right now, altcoins are so low right now unlike in the past, this has reduced participants of the altcoin signature campaigns and their spammy nature. And in the BTC campaigns most managers are strict with what their participants posts, checkmating their contents weekly. In addition to this the implementation of the new merit system also did it's bit.

Signature campaigns could also have it's good sides, for those who are not so good posters, if they get into campaigns, they try to increase their quality and make their posts sensible, so they do not get removed.
Now you cannot tell me that's not s little bit of an advantage.
5596  Other / Meta / Re: [UNBAN APPEAL] account A7373 on: October 26, 2019, 09:34:21 AM
If they unblock the a7373 to me, I will no longer need this newby and I will not use it.
There is no need posting twice in a row, you can just edit the post you had earlier made above.
On the case of your ban, you definitely cannot give the forum options on what you'll do if you get unbanned, because it's glaring there is a high chance that you would not, if you were caught plagiarising other people's work, the punishment is a permanent ban and that's what you've been issued.

If you keep up with ban evasion, it would only lead to the community spoting all your "evading" accounts and ban them as well.
I have only this newbie. I have been bought a member a lot of time ago
So you buy accounts huh?
5597  Other / Meta / Re: [Achivement]Finally I am a self-made senior member! on: October 25, 2019, 04:31:37 PM
Congratulations, you're a hero member as well as a self made senior member, that makes it two ranks for you mate Grin. There is this inner joy when a user advances to a new rank, it's more of a congratulation on a job well done and an effort well put in.

What I believe is patience is always needed in ranking up, there is no doubt it takes time, and only the users who can continue to make an impact on the forum for a consistent period of time would keep ranking up.
Congratulations because you're one of such users.
5598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jose Mourinho next Job? on: October 25, 2019, 03:55:23 PM
I heard rumors that Mourinho already had some offers but he didn't accept because those offers didn't meet his standards, like Portugal national team, Roma, Sporting, Borussia Dortmund etc.
There is no reason for me not to believe this, Jose Mourinho is one of the best managers in the world today and it's definitely a fact that if he's out of employment he'll be inundated with offers from numerous teams. I think Mourinho is taking his time as well as trying out other areas of the game, as he is currently a pundit.

I think it's either going to be Bayern or PSG, I doubt he'll come back to the EPL, I do not see the Epl big team that is need of a manager, he definitely can't go to either Chelsea, United or Arsenal, so I think we'll see Mourinho either in the French or German league come the end of his sabbatical.
I miss Jose on the touchline, but let's also enjoy seeing him in the studio.
5599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The difference between Bitcoin and Facebook's Libra on: October 25, 2019, 03:21:22 PM
and will not be able to survive in long run.
This is one very essential point to highlight(emphasize), is it possible for libra to last a long period of time, if you ask me I'll say it is a no, taking a look at their setup and also their privacy issues, I think libra may not be able to last so long in the market, I even wonder what investors would be thinking going into this sort of investment.

Bitcoin may not be stable, but we all know it's potentials, this potentials it has kept up for the past 11 years or so and still counting, that alone is enough to show that bitcoin is way ahead of libra, there is no definite prove that libra may not last long, but till it does, the bitcoin is in a world of its own compared to it.
5600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 25, 2019, 01:32:59 PM
Yes sure to Liverpool will win 100% in that match, I will bet big in this match, this is an opportunity for me and Liverpool always show their performance well on the field, so this opportunity will not be missed for me.
I keep saying this on this thread, most times when the big teams face off, form doesn't come into play, just take a look at Manchester United Vs Liverpool game, so many predicted an easy win for Liverpool, but I predicted a draw and I was spot on, I understand that when two big teams play, they tend to pay more attention to defense than attack, this always leads to a tight match.

Liverpool Vs spurs would be a tough game and no one knows who would win, spurs are struggling for form, but remember they smashed five past their opponent in midweek in the champions league.
I'm going for another draw in this game: A 2.2 draw at the end.
