Nothing can generate a random number. Us included. Only pseudo-random. So you believe that radioactive decay is deterministic? If so, you are in the minority. Say I have two uranium atoms and one of the decays before the other, what do you think accounts for that? God ;-). He makes decisions based on discussion with the other gods. It's not random, but based on divine rationality. Just believe me, I talk to the spaghetti monster every day and it never utters random nonsense. side-note: Oh hey cool. But that has nothing to do with deterministic wallets. Non deterministic wallets do not require address re-use. The reason that clients reuse addresses is because random key wallets are unsuitable for general use. Requiring users to update their backups after every n transactions results in permanently lost funds. The solution is to implement BIP32. correct me if I'm wrong... type 2 deterministic wallets pose a danger in themselves: rf one key gets compromised, all of them are. It's possible a user exportet a single key from his electrum wallet and used it in mycelium (for example). It could get compromised by the bad RNG in android and compromise all keys of the wallet. I'm all for using deterministic wallets and use them myself. I just don't ever export private keys from them. |

Die Frage nach dem Lebenssinn kann jeder nur für sich selbst beantworten. Ob Bitcoins einen Sinn haben ebenfalls. Bitcoins sind eine Währung, die es nur im Internet gibt. Die Erzeugung dieses digitalen Geldes kontrolliert niemand außer einem Algorithmus. Den hat ein japanischer Programmierer vor 2019 eingeführt. Der Algorithmus macht Bitcoins fälschungssicher und begrenzt ihre Zahl, sodass die digitalen Münzen keiner Inflation anheimfallen.

Ich zitiere mal aus meinem obigen Link: "Regelmäßige Wertpapieran- und -verkäufe stellen eine gewerbliche Tätigkeit dar, wenn sie eine selbstständige, nachhaltige mit Gewinnerzielungsabsicht betriebene Tätigkeit unter Beteiligung am allgemeinen wirtschaftlichen Verkehr darstellen. " Das heißt all diese Faktoren müsen zutreffen, nicht nur die Gewinnerzielungsabsicht. Doch die Erfüllung der Merkmale Nachhaltigkeit mit Selbstständigkeit und Gewinnerzielungsabsicht allein genügt nicht für eine Qualifizierung als gewerblicher Wertpapierhändler. Alle Merkmale müssen kumulativ vorliegen (§ 15 Abs. 2 EStG). Die Einstufung als gewerblicher Anleger scheitert schon meist an dem Erfordernis der Teilnahme am allgemeinen wirtschaftlichen Verkehr. Please tell me you're joking. They are probably the easiest targets to bust. If you're buying/selling on Gox, Stamp or any other exchange, you are taking the same risk. These are all gateways. If you have no interest in dealing with exchanges/Gateways why are you posting in a bitstamp thread? Who also happens to be the most liquid Ripple gateway. Bust? What are you talking about? Last time I checked it was not illegal to buy, sell, own bitcoins. Unless that changes, local trading is a viable alternative for the people to acquire bitcoins for transactional and store-of-wealth purposes and also to buy fiat again if need arises. |

If you want to further sharpen it, you can with any conventional sharpening method, ie wetstone.
Just make sure you know what you're doing first (what angle to apply to the blade, etc). YouTube is a great place for all the help you will need.
allright, thanks... also for the knife  You're welcome. Also, damascus edges have a unique purpose. Due to the hundreds of layers of steel, there are micro-serrations in the blade edge which will serve to cut through things like meat very well. You may want to give it a try before sharpening it which might not be necessary. I tried only with tomatoes up until now and am satisfied. Will try on fish next time I catch one |
