5581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is libra coin going to dominate the Bitcoin market? on: December 29, 2019, 08:31:58 AM
In case libra coin will get approval from US Securities,
Will it dominate the cryptocurrency market?
Currently Bitcoin has dominance of 68% in the market.
Will Libra coin reduce the dominance of Bitcoin market?

How can it dominate when it is not even consider a crypto currency in the first place? So the argument is flawed in the beginning. And as far as I know, they wanted to compete in the remittance services, so most likely XRP will be their main competitor and not Bitcoin per se.

With that said, there could be effect on Bitcoin but I doubt that it will challenge the dominance of BTC here. Two different market and Libra should be considered as token and not crypto.
5582  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Tips for Traders here on: December 29, 2019, 07:59:25 AM
To the OP, saw your post about trading tips and others, however, you have to tell members that all the links that you share are most applicable to forex market. So I don't understand why you promoting this supposedly tips as this mislead others specially newbies because those two are different markets to begin with. So obviously, your advise or at least what the article says might not be good for crypto traders, just saying.
5583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Gervonta Davis vs Yuriorkis Gamboa on: December 29, 2019, 06:42:18 AM
As expected, Davis won the fight via TKO in the twelve round. He drops Gamboa in the 2nd, eighth and the final round. It was a mismatch actually and as I have said, this is just a get busy fight for Davis because as much as everyone loves Gamboa here, lol, he is wayyy past his prime. So I hope that no one was caught around Gamboa's supposedly second win and has a chance to win here. So let's see a Loma vs Davis next.

It was an easy fight for Davis, almost a complete shutdown from the judges scorecard. I thought that Gamboa will survived the full 12 rounds and wouldn't be knock out. Unfortunately, he was caught in the last round and it was a right call from the referee to stop the fight. Of course as 20-to-1 underdog, bettors are going to put some money on Gamboa and take the risk. But it was not a Andy Ruiz performance (first fight) here, he was simply dominated by Davis.
5584  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-12-28] Bomb Threats Demanding Bitcoin Force Evacuations Across Russia on: December 29, 2019, 05:32:03 AM

The bomb threats are quite successful in inconveniencing 750,000 people but a failed one in getting the results that they wanted: Bitcoin.  This story can be considered a little bit funny but is a demonstration of the problems with the Russian government (or some people thereof). Looking at the story of WEX, I am convinced that some government personalities were really involved and these people are just pretending that nothing happened because they are at the very control of power so they feel that they are untouchable at all times. A sad story, indeed!

Well there could be some powerful people in Russia behind WEX lost funds and I doubt that they will gave in to those demands. I know it is scary when bomb threats are being used by criminals here and forcing people to evacuate. And I'm sure police authorities or who ever agencies are looking at this threat, sooner or later they're going to catch up. But regarding those powerful entities behind WEX? I doubt it, as long as they're in control those money are not going to be recovered.

Maybe you can look at this thread, Reviews: How to buy Bitcoin for low price and few fees with card or paypal. It's an old thread but at least you verify everything before you do the purchase.
5586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is It true youTube has started restoring of crypto related videos? on: December 28, 2019, 11:31:10 AM
Recently seen,
YouTube has started deleting videos of many users who speak on crypto either testimonial or introduction videos.
Many complaints about YouTube is deleting videos without giving any notice. giving shadow ban on videos.
For every action, google send notice, but this time without notice , google taking action on crypto based YouTube videos.

I read that there spokeperson said that they admitted their mistakes and will restore everything. But so far, if you go to tweeter world, lots of complains about Youtube and says that there channels or accounts is still block so I don't know who's telling the truth. But I will side with Youtubers here, this supposedly spokeperson has no name, look at their official channel and there are no mention whatsoever. So I guess crypto individuals who uses Youtube as their platform should look for a better blockchain based alternatives.

@fortunecrypto - don't believed everything you read specially crypto related sites, they're just clickbait. If they can point us to a link from an official Youtube statement then I might believed them.
5587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum co-founder Secretly Sold $11M Worth of ETH on Christmas Day! Got Outed! on: December 28, 2019, 10:20:04 AM
Bad timing though, I mean of all the people, why the co-founder opted to sold his bags of ETH in Christmas and he thought that he will not be noticed by a lot of bots watching crypto space?

Anyways, its his money anyways and it has created a lot of selling pressures to other holders are well. Let's just look at the bright side and buy cheap ETH right now, don't wait till the price goes into two figures. Buy if you have the capital and wait for the price to peak again in the next two years or so.
5588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Recap for the year 2019 on: December 28, 2019, 09:32:11 AM
I'm not asking recap on what's happens in the Cryptocurrency industry, but on how 2019 made an impact in your lifestyle, motivation and financial status, is it positive or negative, are you full of hope or losing it, what is your assessment this coming 2020.

I would say that I have keep myself afloat during the 2019, financially it was really hard. You really need to squeeze everything based on your experience, but still there are a lot of challenges, but the good thing is that I was able to survived and learn and will stay positive and looking forward to a brighter 2020. The halving event is what makes me excited. Although I know that it will take years to have a good recovery, the halving might be the catalyst of it. So I will be optimistic, after all, we have survived 2018-2019 already time to move on next year with enthusiasm.
5589  Economy / Services / Re: Get access to a large community of founders (more than 8K) on: December 28, 2019, 09:08:19 AM
Is the access free? I cannot see any terms or conditions in getting such access here.

I'm 100% sure that the supposedly list comes with a price. After all the OP made a lot of efforts (legitimate or otherwise) to collects all the names and contact there.

So to be able to get access he will charge a fee and specially ask to message him personality to discuss how much it is. He won't simply put it here.

5591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why YouTube Bans Bitcoin &Crypto Videos? on: December 26, 2019, 11:23:53 AM
I'm sorry but why you need to be scared? I'm sure that you already learned a lot from watching youtube videos so it's about time that you practice it yourself. As far as the bans, I don't think that youtube wanted it to be permanent. Perhaps they just wanted to get rid of the bad eggs here and free their system with a lot of scammers. Nothing to be afraid of.
5592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 be bearish as well? on: December 25, 2019, 11:49:03 AM
I observed that most altcoins increased in dollar prices when bitcoin is moving up. But a long bull run means disaster for altcoins. And many are expecting a long bull run on bitcoin next year primarily due to halving. I would probably sell my altcoins once bitcoin starts a massive price increase.

Yep, because obviously almost all altcoins are based on Bitcoin pairing.

And that's how altcoins investors do, they shift their funds around. So it they see the Bitcoin is making a good run, they will suddenly move all their altcoins to take profits. I'm still positive that the block halvening will somewhat bring positive effects on the market in 2020. For majority of us, this the event that we've all been waiting for because it could bring another massive growth for the all whole market.
5593  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Any chance you do a content for free? on: December 25, 2019, 11:19:43 AM
First of all, Merry Christmax & Happy NY, everyone! 🎄

Same to you mate.

I'm thinking about something. Say, you hold a Medium / Wordpress blog or you do YouTube content, or you have lots of subscribers / followers in your social media. And apparently, you notice guys who trying to tell the world about their great idea. Or they already developing MVP. Or they just finished MVP. They don't have a shitcoin and they don't ask for investors standing on a chair on every birthday or funeral. All they ask – a bit of support.

In a perfect world, maybe, just maybe you can find people who are willing to support a certain project for free.

If you like their idea, would you accept making content about them and not getting any money (I mean only money) in the begining?

However, sad to say that people today are not going to work for free here in this market. At least give them some incentive. And for those who are going to help you out, you don't know, maybe in the beginning they will do it for free, but sooner or later they might think otherwise.
5594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Summer Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 Summer Game on: December 25, 2019, 10:48:25 AM
~snip
I would agree that this time, someone for the USA will bring back the glory of 100 meters to the Americans. Tyson Gay tried before, but Bolt is really a freak. So I expect the likes of Coleman, Gatlin though is not in his prime anymore. Yohan Blake could be good to compete with the Americans but then again like Gatlin his best runs are over. I read though that there are another young Jamaican following in Bolt's foot print, but we will have to see if he has what it takes to be the next Bolt.
I have not seen Tyson Gay competing this year but you cannot count out Justin Gatlin as he won the silver medal in the recently concluded World Championship and it is not a small thing, Gatlin is 37 years old and still he is still competing defying odds and considering Justin Gatlin and Christian Coleman are in good form US can regain the 100 x 4 m relay medal which was eluding us because of the Bolt and co and now the chance is here to regain.

I will assumed that Tyson Gay has somewhat retired because we haven't seen him for a while. Gatlin though if you could remember has been involved in doping before. And after he was exposed, his performance has somewhat diminished. So although he is still competing at high level specially his specially 100 meters, sooner or later the effects of the illegal drugs in his system might show up especially that he is almost 40 years of age.
5595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Best performing cryptos of 2019,what have you played? on: December 25, 2019, 10:19:36 AM
Since the start of 2019, the crypto market has been on the receiving end of an insane amount of financial volatility.Recently the media listed some cryptocurrencies that have maintained a good financial status throughout the year, but not named Bitcoin.

They are ETH, EOS, BNB, BFT, XTZ, XNX, BCH, ATOM, LTC, BAT.

Do you agree this list or any other additions?   Smiley

LOL, most of the top ten altcoins are still down from their last all time high so I don't know if you can consider them the best performing assets in 2019. ETH alone is still 90% down, and looking at the current price movement, it has difficulty in reaching $200.

If you look at the predictions board, majority thinks that ETH will reach at least $500, so majority of them are wrong. So I guess we have to wait for the altcoin to bounce back, at least recovering 60% from their all time high will be great for next year.
5596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Trend Reversal in Progress? on: December 23, 2019, 12:29:40 PM
It was very shocked moment because of the suddenly revive or pumping up of bitcoin from $6,500 to $7,500 very quick. It was a very good news for us bitcoin holders, the 7% pump of bitcoin was very awesome and I really don't know how it pumps up like this in a very bad situation of the market. We can see that the bitcoin is the only one who pumps up very high compared to the other coins in which are very stable in their current values.
Many crypto enthusiast or analyst are saying that this is because of the whales who want to manipulate the market in order to start a good impression and market graph to the crypto and because of this the bitcoin becomes uptrend again for the future of it.

Why are you shocked? We've seen many times before that bitcoin can grow $1000 in just matter of minutes or hours. The question is, should this pump be sustainable or not? Otherwise, there could be manipulation behind and giving everyone false hope that we can get to $8000 though, just saying. For all we know this could be another bull trap in the horizon so we're on a tricky situation again.
5597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Summer Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 Summer Game on: December 23, 2019, 10:39:07 AM
@BChydro - even though that Bolt has retired, there are a lot of Jamaican that can replace him that's for sure.
I was expecting someone from US to replace Bolt  Wink, we have Christian Coleman who won the gold medal in the 100 meter during the World Championships in Doha and Justin Gatlin is still running in good form as he won the silver, i was expecting Yohan Blake to carry on the torch as he was running well in the past but now he is not in great shape as he came in 5th during the world championships and there was no other person from Jamaica in the 100m finals.

5598  Economy / Speculation / Re: When is the perfect time to sell BTC? on: December 23, 2019, 10:07:44 AM
I am holding BTC from long time ago. And this time BTC going up can I sell now with this price? Or I can wait for more days?

LOL, I'm sure no one here can decide for you. Of course  the rule of thumb is that if you are already in a profit then you can sell them. But the thing is that the price can go either direction and  it's really difficult to give someone financial advises here. It's really up to you to decide, take everything into consideration, profit wise.
5599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Price Peak = $ 1,432.99 USD (Jan 13 2018) on: December 23, 2019, 09:38:16 AM
In your opinion, does the founder of Ethereum (Vitalik) still have tens of thousands of personal ETH?
I have read an article about Ethereum for $ 1,432.99 USD (13 Jan 2018) and in a written statement that (Vitalik) sold 30,000 of his personal ETH at the same time. but I forgot the link.

30,000 ETH for founder is just a small amount. Just look at Satoshi's supposedly Bitcoin addresses, he still has the biggest holder of BTC. So I'm won't be surprised if Vitalik has tons stash somewhere else.

BTW, for example (Vitalik) still has tens of thousands of ETH or hasn't sold all of its assets at the time, so I think Ethereum still has a big chance to reach the highest price again.
how about your mind?

Of course, Ethereum has a chance because it is the top altcoin isn't it. So just like BTC again, it can reach another all-time-high, we just have to wait for the right time.
5600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving Block Reward Countdown on: December 23, 2019, 09:07:20 AM
I just had a weird thought though, what if the next halving coincides with the Bitcoin Pizza day on May 22, 2020, LOL, that will be huge historically. Grin

@Pearls Before Swine - well it could have a positive effect on the price as it will be base on supply and demand. If fewer Bitcoins are generated, it will be scarce and makes it the most sought assets. But just remember the increase of the price will not be sudden, it will take years until we reach another bubble.
