5581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum About to Break Out of a 2-Year Bear Market? on: January 26, 2020, 04:50:59 AM
Crypto markets are holding steady for another day following a slight pullback from their recent rally. Ethereum is still looking strong but can it finally pull out of its two-year bear market?

https://bitcoinist.com/is-ethereum-about-to-break-out-of-a-2-year-bear-market/
still awaiting the Ethereum 2.0 for this breaking the years of bearishness .
i have bought some last 2018 and now i have been holding for almost 2 years yet there is no sign of me disposing/converting this currency so maybe in this 2020 or the next i may taste the profit of holding.
To me, I think yes, Ethereum is gonna rock this year. If the Bitcoin halving brings the bull run then that will come for Ethereum too! There will have ETH 2.0 upgrade, which is another great developments. New projects are launching on Ethereum network instead of EOS, BNB, WAVES Chain!
if that 2 combines?the Halving of Bitcoin Bull and the 2.0 upgrade of ethereum happens?then surely all of us ETH holder will be in moon before this year ends.
5582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do they accept bitcoin in your country embassy? on: January 26, 2020, 03:39:41 AM
We have seen a lot of things we can use bitcoin for.like paying of bills, trading I learnt some organizations accept bitcoin not in countries like China.. etc please do they accept Bitcoin at you country traveling embassy?
sadly but true in my country it is not,and this is what i am looking forward to happen, even my country is not against cryptocurrency yet this is not supporting it thoroughly so maybe not in the near future that we will be having this one yet i will be waiting that someday i can use my Bitcoin in such occasions.
So far there is no country that can truly accept bitcoin as a means of payment. The IMF has appealed to almost all countries for this. Then the rules governing cryptocurrency also do not yet exist, yes even though we know that almost all cryptocurrency is decentralized, but there are difficulties when the government does not want to open up to this. Bitcoin is only a commodity for now.
not really a commodity mate, because there are many areas when we can use our precious bitcoin it is just happen that not in what OP is mentioning but thru online usage this is now getting accepted more and more.
5583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poll for favourite cryptos used on Gambling. on: January 26, 2020, 02:50:31 AM
you should have added Dogecoin in the main choices because this coin is one of the most used currency of gamblers.

i have voted others though i mainly use Bitcoin and Dogecoin whenever i wanna play(but limited chances because i dont really spend big money and time betting)
Xrp since the transactions are so low.

actually i am starting to acknowledge using xrp also because of lower fee and faster transaction.

one of this days i will be adding this one to my options in using for gambling.

5585  Economy / Economics / Re: Halving is approacing: HOLD YOUR BITCOINS AND NEVER SELL THEM (118 days left) on: January 25, 2020, 02:25:17 PM
nice countdown mate but i already holds my Bitcoins and will keep holding this year, though i am having difficulties deciding which will be spend in case of emergency is that my Altcoins or part of my Bitcoin?because we cannot deny the fact that things will happen along the way while we are waiting for Halving this May.
of course, I'm not going to sell them, we are in the best time of accumulation period, I am trying to get as much as could on the best coin to hodl I even take a loan for this coming halving, its not a bank loan but a loan from a friend with very minimum interest, I'm confident that the profit I'll get is higher than my interest.
great job mate but please dont do it again of taking loans just to Invest in volatile market like Bitcoin, because the safest way to venture here is to avoid risking money that you cannot afford to lose.
5586  Economy / Economics / Re: Today is the first day of notorious Korea/Japan/China new year on: January 25, 2020, 01:53:56 PM
with all due respect mate, but i believe Chinese are spending lots of money because they are gaining lot also that year so they are celebrating with Gallant ways of celebrations.

i am not a Chinese but i have many Chinese friends and learning from them?this is the most celebrated days for them(second to Mooncake festival) so why are we to question their ways?

Wow, the Chinese truly are money-oriented,
they are and they are doing this for centuries, also i have respect on their traditions as they are respecting mine also.
5587  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin valuation forecast for 2020-2060 from $10K to $100K: Is it reasonable? on: January 25, 2020, 01:31:26 PM
take note that the existing Bitcoin is not based on how many has been mined but how much is still circulating until now.
there are tons of bitcoin that has been Gone from the forgotten wallets or miss sending amounts so that would be lessen from those 17 million mined or more than.

and also don't rely on the value of bitcoin to USD because the more Bitcoin Price goes higher is opposite will happen to USD(IMO) so this means maybe the value of Bitcoin by that time is double or maybe triple depends on the market movements.
5588  Economy / Speculation / Re: should I buy now? on: January 25, 2020, 01:03:39 PM
I did  buy in bitcoin over a month ago 7k the plan is  to be a long-term hold.  Now I have about 20% more to buy in with, with the prices so high and everything I was going to buy some Altcoins Mainly Ethereum Or more bitcoin.
This Is the hard part of my plan trying to figure out should I just hold onto the cash in my account and see what the prices do?
buy and buy as long as you have capital to accumulate because we are getting closer from Halving and adoption so the more we have control is the more chances of being profitable this year.
look at the price mate?stabling at $8k and this is good sign that we are nearing to pump, since you have total mean of holding then don't bother how much the value when the time of buying but what is important is the price when you decide to sell the holdings in future(not unless you only have months to hold?)
5589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My funds have been stolen! on: January 25, 2020, 12:51:35 PM
this may be a lesson for you to Download the Electrum wallet so you wont be redirected to fake sites since i am sure this is the reason why you were being hacked just soon after you make a transactions and easily for the hacker to transfer your coins to another wallet.
I'm sorry to hear that. Storing funds in btc can be even more risky then storing them in your bedside table.

Then I figured that you don't own a Cryptocurrency judging on your post, and it's likely that you do not know how Bitcoin works, because you do not know how to secure your Bitcoin, you are just making assumption that Bitcoin is not safe to store when in reality it's the holders or keeper of the coins that is at fault.
that's the point because in this short message we can evaluate how Noob he is about cryptocurrency.
he don't even Know the real way on how to treat Bitcoin and not because the currency is in your wallet it means they are safe because at any mistake this will all Gone in a minutes time.
5590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Schiff's Bitcoin wallet mystery is solved on: January 25, 2020, 11:58:40 AM
Plus surprise, it isn't Bitcoin's fault, which at first was "Bitcoin's fault" as he was trying to indirectly suggest. He's now probably trying to save his reputation because he only made himself look stupid.

My #Bitcoin mystery is solved. I mistook my pin for my password. When Blockchain updated their app I got logged out. I tired logging back in using my pin, which was the only "password" I had ever known or used. I also never had a copy of my seed phrase. Honest but costly mistake!

he realized that he gains No support if ever he will throw stones towards Bitcoin about this case so he has No choice but to admit that it was his mistake and no one to blame but him only.

people are not stupid to buy His issue and that changed His mind about the scenario might take in this.
just after a week he finally realized this?is that normal for this Bitcoin critic?well for sure it wasn't right/
5591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use betting tips? on: January 24, 2020, 08:22:05 AM
No I dont, i just do my own research and you know what, I am thinking that those tipsters are just using someone elses tips and ask for monthly fees for giving away tips. Actually if you just look at the odds that sports betting sites are giving away before the game starts, thats already something to guide you where to place your bet.
They have groups who needs monthly membership every month for the tips they gives to the player.
So that's Im doing my own research too because they have player who gives me tips but it's not effective on me I do not know why so I do my own create  my own such as strategy and also tips to gives for the new player who wants to play gambling games.
why need to pay for tips when there is no accuracy from the tipster?you are paying to win,but also you are paying to lose?
why not just play fairly because gambling lies on Luck and not for skills(though it is depend on what gambling games we are betting)
or better try to enjoy Sports betting now guys because this is the fastest growing gambling now in which offering fair play and will be granted if we are a sports lover and team supporters.
5592  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Full time trading is boring on: January 24, 2020, 08:11:27 AM
Full time with trading is boring because we are looking for much money every day but never keep enjoying with how much money earn from trading in bitcoin or altcoin, I have ideas where after trading and get profit or not I always enjoy weekend with my family by travelling, I think is good solution how to refresh our mind not only waste all time with trading but we need enjoy our earning.
Trading is boring, when one hasn't got the opportunity to enjoy what's been earned out of trading. With trading we can't get expected results everytime. We need to be prepared for any sort of market changes happening with time. Trading needs to give regular earning only then it'll be more enjoyable.
if you are profiting from this why comes very boring?why not go out sometimes at least 2-3x a week?since you are making good money, this becomes bored when you are always break even or losing and if does?better stop trading and find real job to have some friends as well.but as long as there is a profit and you have a chance?then make living out of it.
Yeah, indeed trade is boring because it's only staring at a monitor with display a charts and numbers haha
well, trading full time doesn't mean you have to do it every day. I also do full time trading but my concept is different, that is, when I reach the targeted profit then I will use my free time to go for fresh air and refreshing walks. with this way, I can enjoy my life and not alone.
You can also apply that method, the key is the target profit must be adjusted with capital. If the capital is small, the profit target should not be too high, it will be difficult to achieve and will spend your time all day.
but for me?i prefer using trading as a sideline ,i mean just another sort of income aside from my real job because we are living real and not only for virtual so make money in crypto but make money in true life as well.
5593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about Casino with 0% Edge? on: January 24, 2020, 07:49:25 AM
i dont know how will a gambling site  makes profit without any edge?how can they support their activities without taking anything from players?
i think this is not possible unless they are offering other sort of making money to sustain.though this is the problem from more sites to gain gamblers to play because of their high house Edge but for me it is not applicable for Gambling sites to operate without any percentage, maybe smaller is much better but not totally free.
5594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: selling thorecoin only 300$ per 1 on: January 24, 2020, 07:13:57 AM
Good explanation, what if the Crex24 doesn't accept the swap or something else happens? From my understanding, the Mercatox is still in the old chain and that is why prices are low. Crex24 is a shady exchange, there is a possibility swap will never happen.

Thanks.

It's more complicated, as I said in my post, they even ask for a fee to do the swap. I still don't know if it is a scam doing the swap and more they swapped arround january. All the others holders where forced to stay out of the swap, and they decided who can swap.

If that's a decentralysed system....your call!
then why not just Buy the token from OP then everything is over here?the only thing that safari88 is asking since you are supporting Op or the token OP is selling then why not buy it all and this thread will be locked?not unless you are representative oft hat Token that is why you are defending everything here while OP itself did not come here to bother answering inquiries?
anyway i am sure none of us will risk buying that after looking the OP's "Trust History" being Scammer so more or less that will happen in this case if ever someone will be fooled taking this.
5595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 be ETH's biggest year yet? on: January 24, 2020, 05:24:13 AM
if this happens?i am one of the most celebrated account because i have converted half of my bitcoin to ethereum just weeks ago because of the lowering price so i took the advantage.
though i have read some thread from last year pointing that this Year might break the 2018 price of Ethereum.anyway i support Both ethereum and Bitcoin so what comes first will be a Big help for my crypto investment.
5596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting for the rise of all altcoins on: January 24, 2020, 05:02:26 AM
I believe that the time will come, slowly the altcoin starts to crawl up now and my hope is that by the end of the year it will be like this last year. The number of short positions fell to a historic low. This suggests that the bears have exhausted their strength, and perhaps soon we will see the growth! I hope so.
but it is drowning now, look at the market and you will see how Reddish it is now from a week of Greens.
i have no doubt that altcoin will Head up growing soon the problem is Bitcoin must be the first one to pump before all of them go high as well.
if you can afford to wait another months or year then thats a good way of helping the market stabilized because if we will just sell then price will continue to fall again like what happen in 2018.
5597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities using Bitcoin today? on: January 24, 2020, 04:27:03 AM
Just days ago, the famous rapper Akon has launched his own cryptocurrency coin, called Akoin. This aims to power an entire city that would run on his currency that would be called Akon City, somewhere near 2000-acre land on West Africa. Such feat and initiative might prove the world that cryptocurrency can actually be used as a currency, and not just a speculative asset to play with.

Here's their official site: https://www.akoin.io/
i have read this on other thread and it really amazed me because if this happen, then the first Created city just for cryptocurrency only?a private city that will be run by pure crypto money and not Fiat?this will be historic in the crypto world for sure and with a famous celebrity of our time.

in my country only few celebrity has been opened up to the Public that they are involving in Crypto or holding currency but i have a  feeling that even our politician is engaging here because of their stand towards Cryptocurrencies,it seems that most of them are neutral and not bugging this community just like our Beloved President.

I was amazed by his support and confidence using his own currency and building a new city, that too in Africa where crypto market is growing at a high speed. He should make this city a tourist hub and let the world know that it is sustainable and advantageous. I am sure that all the crypto lovers will visit it.
maybe that is also the target of AKON building this "Crypto City" because he know and he also believe that the future of african country can grow with the help of crypto and i hope there are other countries that also Build this kind of project because this is not only for today but for our family in future.we might not experience the mass adoption but for sure the next generation from us will do.

5600  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Full time trading is boring on: January 23, 2020, 02:52:35 PM
One of the biggest cons of full time trading is being alone , boring sitting in front of computer watching charts data all the time from past 6 moths i am almost doing this and now because of this i am not able to focus on trades. i feel like quieting full time trading and go to job so i make some new friends and Socialness

what you guys do to avoid this biggest cons on full time trading
you can have friends while trading mate, and that is talking with others constantly and sharing ideas about your trading activities.
i have some friends that they are constantly talking over social media apps while they are on trading platform so two ideas are sharing on what and which currency to buy and sell.this is why they can stand in front of computer that long while i am bored watching them sometimes when visiting them in their pads.
