5581  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitDice Casino V4 MOST ADVANCED, SECURE, PACESETTER CASINO. TON OF EVENTS COMING on: December 02, 2016, 05:40:57 AM
Registered and Look around into the site yesterday, and I might say that it is one of the most unique gambling site available in the web. Also like other gambling sites it has a chat box in where you socialize with other players. I am not aware of many gambling sites but BitDice offers a unique way to have free Bitcoin for every hour and once a day bonus. BitDice rewards your loyalty and your level, the higher the level the higher the chance you get a big reward.

I got a concern about 1 of the requirements. Do we need to post at least once a week in the Official Bitdice Thread or we just need to post only once in the Official Thread? Smiley
5583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on sport = gambling? on: December 01, 2016, 04:54:27 PM
You put something at stake in hopes of getting bigger income in return, so yes, I think sports betting is a form of gambling. The difference is, you yourself knows and holds the odds; you analyze the stats, read the records, bet based on your decision and you're good to go, just let the teams do their thing.
Well in Bitcoin gambling you yourself control the "odd" if that's what they saying is true as you control your risk like 49.5% for a chance to double your bet. Of course even in Sports gambling we don't know who will really win there are many events that can happen while players play the game. Events like a player having an injury mid game, a player fouling our from the game, or even a coach having a technical foul can greatly affect the real outcome of the game in which analysis can be hard.

5585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin died tomorrow on: November 29, 2016, 03:00:28 PM
Then the cryptocurrency world will change forever, investors and users a like will never trust any other virtual money as the king and leader of the virtual market had died. Also there would be a thin chance that would happen the worst thing that I can think off is that it will only go down with it's price, but it won't be that long and it will retake its normal price again.
5586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: November 29, 2016, 03:45:00 AM
I don't think it will affect the demand that much as some adult sites already accepts a lot of payment options including credit cards. If you think porn sites can affect the demand of Bitcoin you are wrong. What you need to think about is on the big side in which Bitcoin is accepted in groceries, markets, and transportation. That will certainly affect the Bitcoin's demand in a good way.
5587  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: November 29, 2016, 03:03:45 AM
I think kids can earn bitcoin through the means of reading ad, short link video and watching videos online.
No I don't think I will advice to do this
it will be bad because sometimes ad and video contain some random content that not good for a kid it can be pornographic or something

That's good to consider about letting kids watch ads for small satoshi's so for me, I can just suggest that they can use faucets and claim as many as they can. That will be fun for them but not for us, there are also some mobile applications that gives some rewards upon playing them. Just don't teach your kids to gamble or you'll be done.
They'll be fine with faucets as it's easy to understand it, kids will be kids and they do not want to have a complicated information. There mind are still young but bitcoins is for matured people. Let us give them a chance to do simple task like that.
In general it is a bad idea for letting the kids be involve in Bitcoin. As Kids will think that it is a new thing to them considering that at their age they must instead play or learn to write rather than earn something. Yes kids need to start early but not with Bitcoin. Let them save their money in a piggy bank first before letting them proceed with Bitcoin.
5588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: November 28, 2016, 11:26:08 PM
you are experiencing at this time as I was. I used to get a lot of money from bitcoin. because a lot of experience victory that I often gamble even every day I always gamble. but over time I have bitcoin dwindling. I was addicted to gambling. I've tried trading. but for trading I think requires a lot of capital
If you want to earn a high profit then your capital must be high but if your capital is not good enough then try to join in bounties like signature campaign, social media campaign, translation, and creating a blog post, that bounties will give you an opportunity to earn more aside from your invest.

You can still play other gambling method that accepting small capital and there are faucets gambling that you can play gambling over it with just faucet values and I think your save bitcoin will be safe from the risk involve in gambling this will assure that your faucet BTC will surely sky rocket somehow or worst all be use up, but at least you will just using the BTC on your faucet income.
I do agree with you. Trying to stay away from gambling is not a good way. You have to face it and accept it. Do not let yourself losing control anymore. If you know how to gambling without using too much capital, gambling will always be a good entertaining method. Try to use only the faucet and have fun with it

I couldn't agree more brother, there's the need for utmost discipline before you attempt gambling else you'll be heading for the dead end.
What's the logic you are talking about? The topic clearly says how to stay away from gambling but you are still providing them solutions on how to gamble with money earned from faucets, it's clearly not a solution if you want to stay away from gambling. Also how can staying away from gambling let you lose control? Isn't it a good thing that you have stop from your addiction? And there are other forms of entertainment that requires less money if you know how to socialize.
5589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: November 28, 2016, 05:00:40 PM
This kind of kids do exist on most on developing countries which the law regarding on gambling is not too strict thats why kids are prone to this and could able to learn on earlier ages.I could say that this is really true because in my place gambling on young youth is rampant i dont know who would be to blame but its parents itself because we should not expose our kids on gambling.
Personnaly, I think that's not a problem because I have a lot of knowledge who had who are minors but they bet just with a small part of the money they earn themselves. In this case, I do not see any problem.
I don't think the issue of Kids gambling is only happening on developing countries. For a fact all casinos have age limits in which they strictly enforce as if they don't follow they will be having penalties. Also there are many factors involving this topic and there is really no main reason why kids gamble. Some reasons like wealth or addiction comes to mind.
5590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: November 28, 2016, 02:20:21 PM
STUPID Stupid mistake:

1. The one time I took a no deposit bonus. I opened my account, saw that the bonus was credited to my account two days before.(I forget to check sooner) Started playing, I was getting excited because I keep on winning and winning and I was already at 95% rollover, it was just a matter of time. I would clear it with .9 in excess.
Then when I was browsing for other games to try, I got a notification that I have failed to meet the required rollover within the allotted time and therefore will lose the bonus along with all winnings(if any).
Turns out there was a 3-day limit to use the bonus and clear the rollover. .9 gone, because of a few minutes.
Lesson Learned: always, always read the terms. (haven't played bonuses since.)
Oh! that's very unfortunate because making something significant is very difficult and you actually achieved it but lost the money because of a few minutes. But well, that's not a mistake actually rather then that its just your bad luck that costed you that day.
You are not the only one who has experience with that kind of problem. But a lot of this can be prevented by reading the rules and regulation properly. I myself had mistakes like that recently after that I read the rules and regulation thoroughly so that I don't miss anything from it. Also it is designed that to make us really use our Bitcoin instead of storing it in their site.
5591  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: November 28, 2016, 11:23:38 AM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?

Not actually getting rich but I'm getting decent amount from trading altcoins and mining some coins, actually I lose track on how many bitcoin I earned in the past two years ,but bitcoin made my life much  easier than when I'm still do not know how to use a computer.

Me either I don't think that I will be able to become rich with bitcoin. But I am just aiming to get some decent profit or acceptable that can be good.

Because earning with bitcoin is just my part time and I don't get too much of my time with it because I have some other things to work to.

But let's see if one day will change my mind that bitcoin will give me a way to become rich, what I just do is hold some of my bitcoins while collecting.
Why not dream high at least when you cannot achieve it, you still on your way on making great profit. I make it a point to consider bitcoin as my inspiration to become rich because it drives me to work hard for my dreams and be positive despite of the trials in life.

There is no problem if we will dream higher than the normal expectation. But there are a lot of inspiring stories in bitcoin that made me keep on believing in bitcoin that it can make someone rich but that is also depending on your capacity. If you can have high investment to spent with bitcoin then you have possible chance to become richer, that's why rich people are becoming rich.
Correct we do not limit our dreams, me i have dreams that i can get a house in bitcoin someday that is why i always here continuous collecting bitcoin as many as i could for my dreams to be come true.
i think we should be realistic and not to be idealistic, dreaming high cannot make you rich you must take some practical step if you want to become succeeded in your life,
It's not bad to dream big and yeah we have to be realistic in real life. Getting rich will not take overnight unless you won the jackpot in a lottery. But for us we really need to push our limits to work harder and invest more so in the future we will receive a good amount of money.
Well it has to start somewhere though. Dreaming to be rich is going to be a foundation so you have your motivation in whatever you do. And it is actually possible with bitcoin. I've read a couple of posts saying that they started when they set up a goal of earning 100 btcs in 5years. Some already earned half that in around a year or two. So it is possible you just have to work for it.
I won't consider Bitcoin trading as an easy profit or even an easy to handle source of income. I trading you need to dedicate two things and that is money and time. My dream to get rich in Bitcoin is only holding the Bitcoin I earn until the price of Bitcoin will go up until 1000$ which is achievable by today's uptrend. In this way I know my money is growing even if I am not trading altcoins for it.
5592  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: November 28, 2016, 04:20:40 AM
Bitcoin is really worth if you don't know how to use it or how to earn it then for you it is not worth using it because understanding on how bitcoin really works for you is really hard but if you love bitcoin with all your heart bitcoin will loved you too with big profit daily Smiley

Hmm, and understanding bitcoin is really not that much hard if someone already has interest in technology because it is all about technology, if someone has never been around technology at all then it will really be hard for him to understand bitcoin.
If an individual is interested in using Bitcoin, it really is not something complicated. At the moment there is a lot of content on the internet helping to understand and use it. I believe that the part that can bring disappointment to some users, is the difficulty of finding good places to spend Bitcoins.
I have experienced this one as well. It was my first time in Bitcoin and I got aware of it, I am so new I don't even know how to get my own wallet address. I got into Bitcoin because of the word "side income" in which I rush in to the point I almost quit because Faucets won't give me enough. But gratefully I found out there are better options than Faucets.
5593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, why do we need to use Bitcoin? on: November 27, 2016, 11:52:30 PM
Actually, using bitcoins is not a necessity but rather a choice to be made by people looking into it. You don't really need to convert your cash into bitcoin as long as you are happy with using cash produced and mandated by the government. Also, it's fine as long as you are fine with the idea that the banks would continue to oppress you and you would allow them to steal the value of your money. It's perfectly fine to not use bitcoin because in the end it would be your decision that weighs and matters the most.
But isn't using Bitcoin help increase its demand to go up? By using Bitcoin other people will se how it works or at least know what Bitcoin is. This is helpful for us people who are users of Bitcoin because we will see a price increase. The more people who use Bitcoin the higher the price it will be. We all know Bitcoin is limited it is only a matter of time before all of it will be mined.
5594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The danger of the cyptocurrencies on: November 27, 2016, 04:20:04 PM
It will be impossible to be able to remove fiat usage, crypto currencies help us to move to a better transaction, digital transaction will be future transaction where it is safer to do transaction without bringing cash and bitcoin has bring it to better level, which is anonymous transaction, so i am not agree crypto currencies bring danger
I also agree with you e-currencies are actually bringing less danger to the transactions and especially bitcoins because when we are using PayPal there is a risk of chargeback by scammers.
But with bitcoins that is removed so I completely disagree that the bitcoins are bringing any sort of risk in fact I think if all the transactions are done in bitcoins then there won't be any issues of taxes and scams.
I would not say cryptocurrencies give better transaction than Fiat. They are actually slower compared to money remittances, for me I actually wait for more than 30 minutes before I received fully my Bitcoin.  Also we can say Bitcoin is better because you won't spend anything to send money to who your sending it too. It is also portable but we can say it to Fiat too because we have now what is called cash cards and debit cards.
5595  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is better for bitcoin future? Mass adoption or huge price increase? on: November 27, 2016, 12:02:01 PM
A mass adoption would lead to more people buying and using bitcoins and so the price would go up, so I voted for it  Cheesy
However I think that it is also possible that if the price skyrocketed a lot more people would see in the Bitcoin a good investment and start to use it.
But if many people wants to have Bitcoin would it be bad for people like us? Because if there is demand we certainly know that criminals want a piece of our Bitcoin. As much as possible we just need Bitcoin to have a price increase and a certain amount of users too keep us away from criminals. A good example is Gold many criminals want gold they even destroy a whole environment for its pieces. Wouldn't it be bad for the Bitcoin community if we have the same problem as Gold?
5596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoin is good for enterprise ? on: November 27, 2016, 07:18:38 AM
Bitcoin could be a lot use for Individuals than any companies, well for some individuals they will only deal their Bitcoin if the price is high. While the companies who accept Bitcoin for that price will have to deal with it's vilatility before they can convert it to Fiat. I would say it is some sort of disadvantage for them. But accepting Bitcoin by many company will be a big step for it's price to be stable.
5597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used for Good? on: November 27, 2016, 04:12:26 AM
I beleive that majority of bitcoins users have good intentions and want to use Bitcoin for good purposes. Just because some individuals use it for illegal activities that doesn't mean that Bitcoin is ment to be "bad" currency. Many legitimate business also use Bitcoins.  And we can't forget that everything good could be turned into something bad by bad people.
You hit the jackpot, but we cannot blame those who think negative about bitcoin as a coin of bad people since the history of bitcoin have placed a fact that it was greatly used before in the black market before the public started using it. But what you said is true it is no made to be solely used on illicit activities but it was designed primarily to be used by all people in all sorts of life.
All currency whether it is Fiat or Cryptocurrency can be use for anything. As it depends on the person who is using it, any form of money is used for exchange of goods we don't know what is it but we know it is required for any transaction. Also it can be neutral buying food for yourself is not considered as good or bad, donating Bitcoin to the poor if they accept it is considered as good.
5598  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: November 27, 2016, 02:45:24 AM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?

One of my bad experience is when I lost few bitcoin in exchange and haven't got back yet, but/and I took a good lesson.
These were my first bitcoins that I invested with my savings money for months/years and I got scammed by exchange hackers.
But I believe your first bad experience will not stop you from achieving your dreams with bitcoin ecosystem as there are a lot of similar opportunities available to get back your bitcoins. The getting rich with the bitcoin is highly possible when you keep on earning regardless of whatever bad experience you are facing.

No it will not stop me to go through my dreams and be a good bitcoin user, and so far I try to forget that I got scammed so hard.
But we should now that online money is hard to earn but very easy to spend or very easy to lose.

Can you imagine how many scammers become millionaire because of bitcoin? That's crazy.

Money make money, if you buy today 100.000 USD, will not take much time to worth 1 million, money make money Wink
Even if this is a typo or not 100,000 dollars is impossible to become 1 million dollars for you to have a million you are expecting that Bitcoin will have a price increase to a 10,000$ per Bitcoin. And I don't think that is achievable even in the future because we don't know yet if Bitcoin will be the most dominant cryptocurrency in the world. Also there is a concern for demand right now we have small demand and it might be like that even in the next few years.
5599  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: November 26, 2016, 06:50:19 PM
Trust in bitcoin and buy into it. Then come back after few years and see for yourself. Just make sure that you have stored all your bitcoins somewhere safe.

That would be called blindly believing something, and i personally feel that is not the best thing to do, as we all know that bitcoin price is unpredictable because today it grows and tomorrow it drops, so we cannot really be sure if the price will be higher after a particular time when we come back.
you are right. I guess a lot of people doing it when bitcoin prices rose at a price of $ 1000 in the past, but after the price dropped to $ 300 more, they say that there is no future for bitcoin, and bitcoin will die, even the media, also said that. however, I think they have misjudged bitcoin, bitcoin even popular again today
Guys I am sure you are aware of Market Corrections in which a strong price action which is when it is going up can go to its all time low in just days. Corrections occur naturally as it is inevitable every now and then a a stock or something available to the public can correct itself. Gold for example had recent lows in the past month now the prices are soaring again.
5600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: November 26, 2016, 03:49:17 PM
Yes bitcoin has a tax everytime you are going to make an transcation using pear to pear or person to person as you can see every time you are going to send bitcoin the tax are input in the transaction details or every time you are going to withdraw your money or exchange it into fiat currency. Hoping that goverment will not impose taxes soon.

I think it is transaction fee, not tax. whenever you are doing a transaction.  It is different from tax because transaction fee can be adjusted according on how fast you wanted your transaction to be confirmed.  With these , bitcoin does not have tax but fee.  And the fee that is deducted from exchange is processing fee.
In my whole experience with sending and receiving Bitcoin, I never had seen tax or even transaction fees when I send or receive Bitcoin. I don't know where are you getting this kind of expenses. Because when I send Bitcoin to someone they received it exactly the amount I am sending them without any cost for its transaction. That is the good thing about Bitcoin because there is no cost for its transaction.
