A price increase will bring new people to bitcoin but I think we need more long term users of bitcoin rather than more traders and speculators trying to profit from bitcoin.

Mass adoption. A huge price increase wouldn't ensure the stability and longevity of Bitcoin. Without the main population adopting it, Bitcoin will not have any use in the future. A price increase would just make the investor happy, not those who want Bitcoin to grow.

Adoption does lead to a price increase, just like how the price increased when China entered Bitcoin.

But if many people wants to have Bitcoin would it be bad for people like us? Because if there is demand we certainly know that criminals want a piece of our Bitcoin. Mass adoption would be the clear path to a better price. Price spikes happen all the time and die down due to no real demand from traders and users of bitcoin, but mass adoption will raise price as more people want bitcoin and trade USD and other currencies into it to get Bitcoin. HODLing will also be on the rise if something like this happens, decreasing free supply, and eventually raising price. Of course this is mainly based on opinion, but a more stable price increase is always welcomed more than a quick up and down spike.

Everything is something quite serious problem if indeed all transactions require 1 confirmation in order to be processed, but if it's not necessary then it wouldn't be a problem. However all people sometimes do some mistakes that can make the confirmation level is quite low, so that all the things we do become delayed. And one of the things often do is make deals with fee low enough and did not meet the standards that have been set

This is the problem right now but you can increase the fee for your transaction to get faster transaction. or to increase the priority of your transaction..
I am experience this past few days and i think it can be the problem about the transaction and i hope that bitcoin transaction in the future will fix.

I agree but i think price increase helps bitcoins to be more popular, so once the increase continue, people will surely adopt bitcoins too. Like the billion coin, it has no exchanger yet but since its price ate getting higher and higher many people are now using it and the circulation of the coins goes continously. So i think mass adoptation was only 2nd option. its still the price that matters most.

So the basic thing that we or bitcoin needs is mass adoption because we know without adoption bitcoin would have nowhere to go and it will remain where it is right now, if it achieves mass adoption it would progress more and that would make the price go higher automatically.

for that we are going to need new merchants accepting bitcoin as payment. without it there will only be speculators who are trying to make have bitcoin short term until they make profit and then sell and get out duping the price fast.
