561  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Careful with Social Media Tips on: September 15, 2018, 02:52:11 AM
Yes, with their tips you need to be careful, as with news from the media, they can skillfully manipulated by large investors and create a good point of purchase
You need to be very careful about all the information that you receive in social media, especially the information that it has to do with money or investments, there are many people spreading all kind of information that is not true and if you follow that advice without verifying it then it's likely that you are going to lose a lot of money, I know this should not happen because people should not follow the advice of someone that they do not even know but believe me it happens.
562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much damaged bitcoin has brought you? on: September 15, 2018, 02:25:15 AM
I had a small scale investment on bitcoin and i invested on it when the market price is 30% higher. I never thought that market is going to fall down which results to the loss of some of my money if i will sell my bitcoin holdings now. Seeing the market price i consider it as a damage which is 30%. Well if i may ask you do you feel any damage right now? I wanna know who are those people who are investing prior to the market price fall down?
I also suffered a loss just like you, the fall of the Crypto market brought great damage to my investment but the fact that I did not focus on that and I would never consider it a damage because in some ways I only saw the brighter side of it, this was the season of gathering more coins, where it can be very valuable in the future.

Losing money in this market is something to be expected, even if I consider myself to be successful and I have benefited thanks to this market, it is undeniable that I have lost money from time to time, the important thing is that I have earned more money than the money I have lost, so if you are losing money because you bought at the top of the market the only thing that I can say to you is that you need to hold your coins and wait for the recovery.

https://www.livebitcoinnews.com/4-in-10-americans-will-never-invest-in-bitcoin-says-latest-crypto-study/

I've known some few friends who are into forex and stock investments. When they've learned that I engage myself into crypto trading and investments they discouraged me due to bitcoin's price volatility and unpredictable fluctuations. All I can say to them is that I only invest an amount that I can surely afford to lose and taking huge risks will definitely compensate you good returns as well. I bumped into this article saying that 4 in 10 Americans will never invest in bitcoin, which is somewhat realistic but still history can really tell that bitcoin has changed lots of millennials who took the risk and profited when bitcoin value skyrocketed to almost $20k last year.

So with this article it shows that there is still high percentage of Americans that is willing to take risks to invest in bitcoin just to make some good profit in the near future. What are your thoughts regarding this one? Share me your thoughts.
Well if they do not want to engage in the market of cryptocurrencies because of the risks then that is understandable, even if I like bitcoin and several other cryptocurrencies I understand very well what's going on, and I understand very clearly that I'm taking a huge risk by investing in this market, so if people want to avoid it and prefer to invest in the stock market that is something that I can understand.
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Become Mainstream In The Next 10 Years? on: September 13, 2018, 08:54:47 PM
Yes, I believe that bitcoin will go mainstream in the next ten years, look how technology transform our society and bitcoin will surely transform our economy also. In each day, bitcoin holders are increasing in number and some countries are starting to recognize it, over a decade it will be adapted all over the world.
I hope you are correct on that, because as we know a lot of things can happen in 10 years, bitcoin could become mainstream and be adopted all over the world, but if governments feel that they are threatened in their interests by this new currency it is very likely that they are going to ban it and if that is the case then the adoption of bitcoin could get lower instead of higher.
565  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Economy on: September 13, 2018, 08:48:16 PM
Taxes is a must, Even if the country has 100% of its citizens engage with cryptocurrency still we need to pay taxes. Taxes in cryptocurrency and taxes in government is different. Maybe it will lessen us for paying taxes. And also that's also the main reason why other government countries didn't accept bitcoin. Taxes are important. It helps the country's to provide goods and services for the benefit of their own people.
Taxes are necessary, but compared to other times in history you will see that the taxes that we're paying are simply too high, in the past most governments charged very low taxes and they mantained themselves with lotteries and stuff like that, so we are at a very important point in the history, are we going to follow this new system where we are charged huge amount of taxes or are we going to follow the old system with very low taxes and a smaller government?
566  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin were more than 100K, how much you would buy? on: September 13, 2018, 08:35:54 PM
If i knew that bitcoin costs more than 100k, i would buy three at least and take a pause for the cause. I would drop crypto business and wouldn't take care about it
At that point I will not be even able to afford a single bitcoin, so my efforts right now are concentrated to try to get as much bitcoin as possible right now that is very cheap, all the people that are thinking that bitcoin is very expensive right now do not know what they're talking about, the moment to get bitcoin is now and if you do not take the opportunity then someone else is going to do it.
567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is best wallet for long term bitcoin holding? on: September 13, 2018, 08:18:54 PM
Trezor is the first preference for holding the bitcoin and many other coins. you can keep safe trezor wallet key at your place and also recover the wallet after the lost of trezor. And offline wallet is the second option for safe the bitcoin, in this case you have to save the wallet file at the safe place, other wise you will loss your bitcoin.
Hardware wallets are great but as you may guess the greatest problem is that they are not free and you need to pay for them, and many people in the forum do not really have the money to pay for a hardware wallet, this means that for them the best option is a wallet like electrum, it is a very lightweight wallet and it's one of the safest out there.
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earn up to 50 ETH on: September 13, 2018, 07:58:57 PM
You want to grow that up to 50 ETH, well it's hard to earn that amount, all I know the only way to grow your ethereum is trading and investing ICO's.
Investing in icos is not the only way to grow your money that much, it is completely possible to earn that money in trading the only problem is that you need to be very good because in the current market conditions it is going to be a real challenge to make any kind of money, but if you have experience trading in other markets like the stock market then making profits here is going to be easy.
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if cryptocurrency market is not also good in 2019? on: September 10, 2018, 05:14:30 PM

The market of crypto-currency is not predictable, since it is still quite young and not well-established. We can only make predictions and guess what will be 2019. So prepare for the worst, but hope for the best! Wink
Even if the market of cryptocurrencies was 100 years old it will not be predictable at all, just look at the stock market, how many people have tried to predict how the market is going to behave and yet all of them have been unable to predict how it's going to move? It is way better to just hold your coins, I know that the profits are not going to be as good as if you were a trader but the risks are minimal if you choose the right coin.
570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodlers will not change the world on: September 10, 2018, 05:10:07 PM
Hodlers are literally poison to the economy. They are just holding their cryptocurrency to sell out the fiat whenever the best opportunity arises, and don't actually care about the future of blockchain. It is quite clear that this is a brilliant new technology that absolutely must be pushed for in all industries, but these idiots who just hodl and nothing else are not deserving of the new world order.
It seems to me that you do not really understand long term holders, many of those holders have no intention to sell their coins for fiat, what they are waiting is for the adoption of bitcoin to go up to the point that they can use their bitcoin without having to exchange their bitcoin for fiat, in that scenario holders are true believers on the technology because they are not willing to sell their coins no matter what.
571  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I learn to be a professional trader? on: September 10, 2018, 04:47:34 PM
On the Internet, a lot of useful information that is easy to find. To be a professional trader the main thing is to have money and feel the market.
The problem with learning from the Internet is that while it is full of useful information is also full of useless information that is not only not going to make you money but that is going to make you lose money, so it is better at least at first to learn from a good book about trading, that way you know that you are dealing with reasonably good information.

I do not see here any difference. The books are good but sometimes, you do not have the time to read them thoroughly. Find a channel about the crypto, something like this one:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=000UtKtm7kU
I do see the difference, YouTube videos are fine if that is the way that you like to learn, but the amount of information that you are going to be exposed in a book is greater than anything that you can watch in a video, not only that, it is way faster and even better you can take notes as you are reading the book and this makes learning easier, so I still recommend books over watching videos if you want to learn how to trade.
572  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: looking for a valid cryptocurrency signals on: September 10, 2018, 04:32:44 PM
hi frieands
im looking for a valid channel or discord server or website for cryptocurrency signals
cane someone help me?
Many people are looking for something like that, you're not the only one and let me tell you that they have all failed, you are not going to find a channel that will give you signals that will generate profits all the time, if you just take the time to think about this logically you will understand that if the person giving the signals was that accurate then he will be using his own signals to make money.
573  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin ready to pump (september 2018)? on: September 10, 2018, 04:14:08 PM
Is Bitcoin ready to pump?
After a long wait, everyone wonders when Bitcoin will make a big pump. Many altcoins depend on Bitcoin and so it has some effect on them. So my question is: do you think Bitcoin is about to go up or should we expect a big drop?
I think you already got your answer, don't you think? The market is not going to pump so soon it is going to take a lot of time, people need to get rid of the idea that the market of cryptocurrencies is going to skyrocket again in just a few months, you need to get this, it is going to take years for the market to recover and it's better that you accept this now rather than later or face the consequences.
574  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin global regulation on: September 07, 2018, 02:57:05 AM
It is hard to have global regulations for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies because not all countries accept it. Like china banned them altogether. Other countries also dont have regulations in place. Hopefully we see more adoption and regulations in future.
Regulations are not important what it's important is if a country bans cryptocurrencies and as long as cryptocurrencies are not banned and you are not doing anything illegal then most likely you can do whatever you want with your cryptocurrency, just make sure to check the laws and regulations in your country just avoid breaking the law and if possible consult a lawyer just to be 100% sure.
575  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Resources to learn crypto trading? on: September 07, 2018, 02:51:02 AM
So i was thinking to test if technical analysis and trading strategies could be profitable with crypto. I would of course test everything with "virtual funds" first then move on to the real markets.

My question is where do i find the most trustable and high quality resources to teach myself? Are there any free or payed courses online? Maybe youtube channels or blogs that specialize in crypto trading?

I know I'm just some random person on the internet, but trust me - there is tones of money to be made trading crypto. If you're looking for resources, lots of folks here have given great suggestions already. I would put forth a slightly different kind of resource: a group of traders to bounce ideas off.

One of the cool things with crypto is that the folks in the crypto space are generally pretty technologically savvy, which leads to some pretty cool opportunities.

I found a discord group that is super helpful when it comes to learning how to day trade, and I've seen tremendous success with them.

Check it out! Voodoo Crypto
Nothing wrong with joining a group and try to learn from them, just make sure that you understand very clearly what is expected out of you because I have seen groups that seems to be about improving your trading ability and they were nothing more but pump and dump groups, also there are other groups that while legitimate they expect you that you give something back like predictions about a particular coin that you have been studying.
576  Economy / Speculation / Re: I need more money to invest now! on: September 07, 2018, 02:35:10 AM
Now the bitcoin schedule reminds me of the situation of the 3rd quarter of 2017. If nothing changes, soon bitcoin will grow significantly as in 2017.
And if it is so then investing in bitcoin now is a very wise decision.
You are only seeing the charts you are not seeing the full picture, you are not seeing that what caused that bull run was a development in the technology of bitcoin, this is why I am upset by people that keep predicting the same is going to happen because we saw something similar to last year, that is not true things are very different so do not expect the same to happen again.
577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much damaged bitcoin has brought you? on: September 04, 2018, 10:08:24 PM
So far I am still profitable because I entered Crypto last year when marketcap was still small and bitcoin was only around 2k. I was lucky enough to enter Crypto early enough and get a chance to collect before the bull run begins.
We are seeing a lot of complaints from people that entered the market at the end of the year but what many people do not see is that only those people are losing money, everyone else should still be in profits if they were holding their coins, the only ones that are also losing money are those that tried to be smarter than the market and tried to trade in the middle of a bull market.
578  Economy / Economics / Re: Weak Hands lose money, strong hands makes profits in this game! on: September 04, 2018, 10:00:20 PM
I think so those who has a weak hand can easily lose their money. But we can't blame them for their actions. Maybe they only don't want to lose all their money.
I disagree, if we cannot blame weak hands for their actions and for losing their money then who are we going to blame? Are we going to blame the market, the whales, the exchanges, the media, because that is not going to work, we are completely responsible for our actions and weak hands by selling their coins for a bad price have decided to lose their money, it is that simple.
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's gonna happen if Bitcoin gets ETF approval??? All about bitcoin ETF on: September 04, 2018, 09:38:34 PM
We're probably going to get a spike in the price of bitcoin, however I really think this is going to be short lived but it is going to push the price higher than the current levels, this will be the perfect opportunity to exchange your bitcoin for altcoins because I do not think that altcoins are going to go up in value because this is a news that only involves bitcoin.
580  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Careful with Social Media Tips on: September 04, 2018, 09:26:36 PM
Social media is a good source for learning on how to use strategies and at what time. Just keep in mind that many traders offer their advice for a particular situation in a particular time.
You should design your own tactics, at your own pace. There is no guarantee that everything you see in these guides will work out for you the same way it did for posters. Keep learning, trade, and draw your own conclusions.
https://www.cryptocointrade.com
Social media is not really the best place to learn, there is a lot of false information in social media that I will say that probably 80% of all the things that you see there are fake, so when you take into account that, I really do not see the point of trying to use social media to learn how to trade or to try to receive tips about how to improve your trading ability.
