Yes, in this case, the advantages of the CombiCoin and TriaToken are obvious. In my opinion, bqx in an interesting way solves the problem of manually managing the variety of ether tokens, but the purpose of the CombiCoin is quite different. Really good to see, should hit that 2 once ETH hits 300, more combicoin and TRIA for investors if the price can stay higher, the 24-hr high and low are very close in on each other which is also good as it averages out rate from the day so with these small gaps it’s a good time to get in |

I’m not too familiar with bitquence but from looking at it quickly it seems like another “diversification” option, where they simply take your investment (ETH) and split it between several accounts with various alts via the “universal wallet”
In a few of their infographs they are comparing themselves to Ledger Nano S, Trezor and such which to mean means there positioning themselves as more of a “universal wallet” then what combicoin is.
I also couldn’t find if they have something like the TRIA token for dividends but it doesn’t seem like it
Bitquence was created to "bundle" coins based on risk for the average person that knows little about cryptocurrency, its a frontend that combines coins into "bags" with labeling that translates to the average person. I read through (scanned) a lot of posts, so forgive me if this has been brought up. If CombiCoin where asked to differentiate themselves from Bitquence at this point in time, what would be the key points where the two differ to a great degree ?
Second, in the future it seems Bitquence would likely be interested in focused development of a system like this as a feature of their coin.
Lastly, have CombiCoin and Bitquence ever had an exchange of words ? The two projects seem very much complimentary, it seems to me larger gains could be had with CombiCoin "Combined" with Bitquence.
I know nobody wants to hear all that with all the high energy and excitement, as well as a very successful round of fundraising, so everything aside, I wish you guys well..It's a great idea in it's user facing simplicity and backend complexity.

I was too late in the dip to do anything other then buying more ETH, XMR & BTC, trading out to USDT when it peaked and buying back in on the dips was good. Pulling out last night once the 24 hr high and low started closing in on each other. At one point XMR was sitting at 90 ~ 100 for 24 hour, previous 24 hr was 75 ~ 105. Pay close attention and if it starts again I’m going to just keep doing the same, move to USDT, drop, buy back more in the dip, profit |

If I send 1eth today, what would be the value for combicoin? If 1 eth = $256 right now, would that mean I'd get ~25.6 combicoin? Yes, almost everything is correct. Only the rate will be determined not at the time of sending, but at the time of receiving (in case your transaction will take several days and the exchange rate will change ). This one is almost a scam to me, because they abuse the lack of know-how of people.
For an financial asset like a hedge-fond, the risk is hedged! That's where the name comes from! That's why such fonds include assets that usually behave opposite.
To take 30 assets with exactly the same behaviour doesn't hedge the risk at all!
Look at recent dip. When all rates crashed, decrease was almost the same for the big 30 cc.
I neither have an interest in increase nor decrease of the rate, as I would never invest in such a scam.
But even before realizing this, I felt like this is not a good idea.
Why do they take the 30 biggest cc? Why not the 30 most promising? What if a new cc enters the top30, like XRP did? Will they sell no. 31 and buy the new cc? No. 25 to 35 change almost every day, will they change coins every day too?
This coin has no USP, as the main function of a hedge fond is not fulfilled.
They raised 1.5M$ already? It feels like people waste their coins for any new ICO....

Yes, as there is a consensus, no hard fork, just a major update in the code. The update has a positive effect on long term as it is meant Ethereum is well following its road map. So, guys get ready for gains over the next few months. You're confusing your terms. The Metropolis update can only be done through a hard fork. It brings new features which break the old consensus, so the chain must fork. This doesn't mean there will be a chain split though. Forking a chain is normal, it's how the tech improves and evolves. A chain split occurs when a minority doesn't want to continue with the new, forked chain. As you mentioned, there's no contention over the Metropolis update, therefore, there won't be a chain split (there will be a hard fork though).
