Grin We are happy to inform you that we have just doubled the reward!

Now the dispenses are random values between

USD   Min 0.0032     Max 0.014
BTC   Min 0.000004   Max 0.00006
LTC   Min 0.000148   Max 0.000748

We'll raise the reward again as the cost of the pixels on the homepage goes up Wink
562  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New BTC faucet! on: February 26, 2014, 10:26:30 AM
It suck we need press every pixel we want, it take too long.

Ok soon we'll work on a feature to select a range of blocks
563  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New BTC faucet! on: February 25, 2014, 09:58:47 AM
0.01/0.00000272= 3676.47058824
so after 3676 request I will be able to withdraw?

if we convert that to time it will be  1838 hours

1838 hours are 76 days straight!

Do you think we are robots and only stay on your site to try and get 0.01?

A normal person without referrals will be able to cash out from your site after 1 year!Only if a normal person use the PC 6 hours/day!

If you use the PC for 6 hours/day and you are never late at requesting your payout you will need 306 days!

I think you should choose between raising the reward or lowering the cash out!

We'll double the faucet reward as soon as all free pixels from the homepage are taken! Smiley

..and in the future it's likely we'll double it again and again as the pixels become more expensive

Can someone make sig banner for this site, please?
If someone use my ref link do I get 1 time 50% or every time with that address?

Every time.

If your friend enters the faucet via your referral link, he is "locked" to you for the subsequent times too.

i.e. you'll get 50% each time he'll enter the faucet again, even if he enters via the regular link ( http://www.stealthepixels.com/get-free-money ) and not necessarily via the referral link.

Nice, can you make page where I can see how many referrals I have and how much I have got from them?

Good idea, we'll work on that too!
566  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New BTC faucet! on: February 20, 2014, 02:34:31 PM

we have switched to Bitstamp now Smiley

How exactly will the 50% ref back work, if my chosen payment is not the chosen payment the person I refer picks?

If the referral and the referrer use different currencies, conversions will apply.
Example: you are using the paypal faucet (USD) and you give your referral code ABCD to your friend, but yout friend logs in to the faucet with his BTC account.
He gets , say, a 0.000002 BTC dispense, and you win the 50% that is 0.000001 BTC converted into USD.
The conversion is done with MtGox rates.

The site internally uses MtGox API for BTC/USD conversions and Cryptsy API for BTC/LTC and LTC/USD conversions.

I've fixed the grammar error, thank you Cheesy

Why would you still use mtgox?
isn't that thing going down?

If you know a better API for BTC/USD let me know, maybe CoinPayments API?
Cryptsy does not have BTC/USD, only BTC/LTC

p.s. Cryptsy does not even have LTC/USD ratio, i find it by combining BTC/USD from MtGox and BTC/LTC from Cryptsy
569  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New BTC faucet! on: February 20, 2014, 11:13:28 AM
Is the amount we receive random to a certain degree? Or are they just dropping in amount?

Yes the dispense is random between a minimum and a maximum.

For now the dispense boundaries are set as

USD   min 0.0016   max 0.007
BTC   min 0.000002 max 0.00003
LTC   min 0.000074 max 0.000374

But i'll have to tune them better

Yes you're right, i'll do that soon.

For the paypal faucet, i think the cashout cannot be very low due to the paypal fees.

For BTC and LTC i have to check what is the cashout limit other faucets have, then i'll align the mine with the other ones.

I'm curious how you're hosting this -- incredibly slow for me.

Are you using internet explorer?
It actually is slow on IE
573  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Free or cheap advertising service on: February 19, 2014, 11:01:45 PM
This is super interesting, but what's to stop someone from taking all of the extra space?

Also, the main page and purchase page seem to lag. It's probably due to the immense amount of pixel links there are?

Yes that's the reason for the lag.

Nobody stops you from taking all the free pixels Smiley
After then, all the free pixels would be exhausted and people would have to pay at least 0.01$ to "steal" them.
574  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Free or cheap advertising service on: February 19, 2014, 01:38:53 PM
The site now has a faucet! http://www.stealthepixels.com/get-free-money

It is a section of the site where people can get money for free, they only need to enter their wallet and solve a captcha to get a prize in BTC/LTC/USD.
The point of it is to gain traffic.

I'd like you to give me some comments/feedback on it, thank you Smiley
575  Economy / Micro Earnings / New BTC faucet! StealThePixels on: February 18, 2014, 11:32:20 AM
Hi,
i have created a faucet site for 3 currencies: BTC, LTC and USD.
I'm introducing it here for a beta test, this is the link: http://stealthepixels.com/get-free-money/

I'm asking you to kindly report me suggestions on improving it, your first impression and eventual bugs you may find.

Guys let's try playing games while mining with cuda!
Try adding this options and let me know if the game lags

-i 1 -l S2x1

If the game lags try with

-i 1 -l S1x1

Lemme know
Lol that hashrate... 3.8kh/s while my 670 does 240kh/s on my own settings

too low you're right

try with these ones
-i 1 -l S3x3
-i 1 -l S5x5
-i 1 -l S6x6

should give a decent Kh/s while gaming,
for me
20Kh/s
40Kh/s
50Kh/s

and you? I have to try more aggressive configs
For gaming I use
-i 1 -l K8x2 = 55kh/s and game (guild wars 2) feels a little laggy with ~15fps
-i 1 -l K6x2 = 40kh/s and game runs normal with ~20fps
Tested on GTX 670 btw Smiley

20fps is not the best experience, try with -i 1 -l K4x2

I don't know what some people are doing, and I don't know how successful that milliondollarhomepage is, and you may even be successful among individuals who want to promote their blogs, but I think professional marketers will stick to professional advertising services.

Ok i'm thinking about a money-back guarantee if the advertiser's banner does not get at least N clicks in a period of time.

How can i give evidence to him that he got the clicks?
Is there some hit counter service i can use? It should be an external service doing the monitoring, not my site otherwise the advertiser thinks i may cheat.
580  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Free or cheap advertising service on: January 11, 2014, 12:36:28 PM
When I'm buying an advertising campaign, I want to know what I'm buying. I can buy 5,000 clicks or 1,000,000 pages views, and I can choose the audience, but if I don't know precisely what I'm getting, and without any guarantee on how long I'll have it, I guess your service has to be free. Forever.

"without any guarantee on how long I'll have it"

Look at the milliondollarhomepage: it has been online since 2005 and it will likely be online for the decades to come. It didn't guarantee it will be online forever, they only declared that but they still got their banner filled by advertisers! Yeah it maintained its promise because it is still online after 8-9 years, but there was no guarantee on this in 2005.

"I want to know what I'm buying"

There are a lot of professional advertising services that offer you the guarantee you get 5,000 clicks from the country you choose etc., but there is a huge difference in price.
My service has the same philosophy as the milliondollarhomepage: no guaranteed but very very cheap (actually far cheaper than MDH).
Again, the MDH got their banner filled despite they did not guarantee 5,000 clicks to advertisers, who paid even 1$ per pixel that is very costly!
If all the people think like you, why in the world they bought pixels on MDH at that crazy price?
