How long it takes to return a reply? .. Anyone know?
I have gotten replied from global mods and theymos himself within 12 hours
It should not take to long if you explained everything correctly
562  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: June 29, 2014, 01:36:49 AM
Will theymos ever lower the 10BTC/50BTC donator and VIP to get those tags?
Maybe 4BTC and 20BTC fairer?

It's pretty impossible for someone to achieve or pull $25,000 for a forum tag these days
563  Other / New forum software / Re: deactivate "lock topic" on: June 29, 2014, 01:34:09 AM
If there's a scammer, make a scam accusation thread and report to a mod and leave a negative trust rating
There's no need to remove the lock topic feature when there are plenty of ways to catch out a scammer even when the thread is locked

JUST BECAUSE the thread is locked doesn't mean nobody can see it
564  Other / Meta / Re: Is not it referral spam ? on: June 29, 2014, 01:32:29 AM
I don't know, but I personally think It would be referral spam If there wouldn't be alternative without a referral link but you can choose between referral and not referral link. As far as I know If you post on topic link with Referral It isn't a ref spam but I don't know If you post as a commentator or original post creator. In this situation I wouldn't call It as a referral spam but mods or admins decide this.

He's right, this isn't referral spam as he included non-refs
If it were referral spam he would've done something like "JOIN MY SITE REFLINK.com/REF"
That's ref spam
565  Other / Meta / Re: Is it possible to break the Alt Forum into sub categories? on: June 29, 2014, 01:30:56 AM
Would be nice to have a Premine and No Premine Category Smiley
Roll Eyes Aren't you able to read the first 10 lines of the OP ?
What he said

Seriously are you that lazy that you can't go to the announcement thread and read if it is premined or not?
Why don't we also make boards just to see of it's value
Just to see the limit of circulation
The amount mined
The amount ........... And so it goes on

Use your eyes, get the info you're looking for. It's not that hard

Wow
I'm going to play this when on PC, the gameplay looks epic!
Thanks!
567  Other / Off-topic / Re: Optimal Captcha on: June 29, 2014, 01:27:14 AM
Captcha is very annoying for the end-user of the system. SecureImage looks decent, but it is definitely crackable. The sample captchas look very easy to me - a computer program would be able to solve them this year. You may want to try something unlike captchas, there are different ways to do the turing test.

Exactly
If you want a un-crackable captcha you'll need to create one yourself or get a Dev to
Most on the market are extremely easy for a computer to crack
568  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to get fancy addresses? on: June 29, 2014, 01:24:34 AM
What is the longest vanity address ever created in bitcoin thus far?

is it 8 characters? If 7 can take days...
Probably in the realm of ten to twelve, case-insensitive and not specifically at the beginning of the address.
How would you make certain characters in the vanity ?
So like
1ahdjeMshdjsOajdjdaRajdjsEdhsIA

The characters being M, O, R, E, I and A

Is that what you're talking about?

570  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WHO WANTS 60,000 SATOSHI on: June 29, 2014, 01:17:50 AM
10,000 satoshis would be useful for paying fees I guess.

How will you send 0.0001 if thats how much the fee costs?! Im confused...

Perhaps he could send it to multiple addresses as a single transaction and only pay a single fee. Or he could spend 0.0002 BTC - i.e. half for the payment and the other half as a fee.
That right 10 transactions totals to only 0.001 + standard 0.0001 fee

can't remember which site it was but it was a LTC wallet lost 2LTC

NEVER EVER go for a online LTC wallet, just download the client. There are 1/10 legit litecoin wallets out there

574  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Freedogeco.in on: June 28, 2014, 01:43:29 PM
Is this the same guy who made freebitco.in or a copycat?
They've copied the script and all, so it shouldn't be to hard to make the same script someone did for freebit

If the OP is talking about Freedoge.co.in and not Freedogeco.in then it's the same guy I believe. His name is wetsuit and he posts here on the forums.

Freebitco.in thread: http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=319540.0
Freedoge.co.in thread: http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=638241.0

Hello all
I am the operator of FreeBitco.in and I have made http://FreeDoge.co.in which is a Dogecoin faucet with a gambling component, where you can win upto $200 in free dogecoins every hour and then play a HI-LO game with your won DOGE to win upto 100x.

The minimum payout is only 5 DOGE and you can request it any time and the coins will be sent to your wallet within 24 hours.

I would appreciate any suggestions or feedback that you may have.

Thanks!

thanks for that, didn't know the owner was here on bitcointalk!

.

And here I am worrying about being banned for spamming and making sure I am on-topic for every post...
What a joke.

Anyway, OP credit cards have the same 3-5 business day clearing times so I don't see any difference
Fiat/hard cash on the other hand bitcoin still has generations to beat that.
576  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC for watching videos on: June 28, 2014, 01:37:26 PM
Interesting
How many videos available? Country limited or site provides videos?

I'm in few days so not sure ... its about 10 vids daily .. but I think limit is changing.
definitely you get 6 000 satoshi and more daily and can run on background.

dunno any limitations, you can put your own tube in.

Hmmm
I'm going to try multi these see if I can get a heap of BTC out of it
But I'm sure they'll have protection
60k x 10 users = 600k satoshi
Run all in background won't be to hard or taxing on computer either
577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jeff Garzik's Bitcoin Balance Revealed on: June 28, 2014, 01:19:55 PM
348.006 or 348,006 ?
 Grin
348.006 or 348,006 ?
 Grin

I have the same question, 348000 bitcoins or 348 bitcoins?

Maybe if both of your read the comments you'll find he even states 348BTC
578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US Marshall's Bitcoin Auction Results on: June 28, 2014, 01:11:33 PM
I think you made a mistake in the title by putting the word 'Results' in there.
He is right
I heard about this story and I thought this thread was the auction results
More of a report than results
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs to clean up it's reputation - Support the good cause. on: June 28, 2014, 01:05:10 PM
Bitcoin isn't really about charity though...sort that sounds harsh, but you say "show what Bitcoin is really about" as if it were made to support charities like this.
