561  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think there is institutional manipulation of the Bitcoin price? on: June 09, 2018, 05:59:03 AM
I think its not right to always think there is manipulation whenever the bitcoin price or other crytocurrency are tanking. We shouldn't expect that price will always go up, otherwise, it is very dangerous. Cryptocurrency price increase in december 2017 was way too much, hence there is need for correction. So corection isn't manipulation, its a normal thing. No institution is manipulating the prices.

563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accounting Firms celebrating blockchain as if they invented it! on: June 06, 2018, 08:52:51 PM
This is really a good one, it means blockchain technology and cryptocurrency are taking over the world. The accounting firm knows the power and importance of the blockchain and how it can boost the accounting sector. Kudos to them for doing this openly, very soon, every sector will realize the blockchain advantages and will start adopting it.
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin become centralized sometime in the future? on: June 06, 2018, 08:36:01 PM
Possibly, there won't be anything like centralizing bitcoin , a solution you this is for all the remaining tokens you be premined. Making bitcoin centralized will forfeit major efforts that took cryptocurrency to this stage, and alot of people will lose interest in cryptocurrency which might lead to the end of it. So never border about centralization of bitcoin and more innovations will be developed to solve any issues facing miners.
565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens with my crypto when I die? on: June 06, 2018, 07:46:25 PM
This is really not a concern for the general community. Maybe we will see a new platform that will use the blockchain technology you secure our funds so our generations can have access to them after death. But I think cryptocurrency so far has dome well you ensure everyone takes care of their funds themselves in all realms. Keep your wallet  details safe and pass it on to your family members or offspring so they can have access to it if death occurs anytime sooner or later.
566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Billboard at the 2018 FIFA World Cup on: June 06, 2018, 07:28:56 PM
This is really exciting , I loved the advert , I will really like such adverts to be shown in other major sport competition like the NBA, Major tennis grandslams , Olympics and many more. The effect of this is that it will help take bitcoin and crytocurrency to mainstream and give more exposure to it. This is really an awesome deployment.
567  Economy / Speculation / Re: Patience is all we need on: June 06, 2018, 06:55:53 PM
Every trader, investor and business owners need to learn how to have enough patience in their dealings. This subject is very important in cryptocurrency because it can make or mar you. You can easily lose your investment or shortchange yourself I you don't have enough patience. The first thing you do is to research and invest in good projects. The next is to be patient even when things go crashing , price plunging or dip. All dips or crashes will rise again and only the patient will enjoy it.
568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SCAM! on: June 04, 2018, 07:25:56 AM
There are so many people using bitcoin to scam other people especially the newbies to cryptocurrency. They paint huge possible return and show fake proof, with this they trick people you invest in their evil platform or send them money to invest for them. This is sad but everyone should be careful. Never use people's advice to invest , always do your deep and solid research because your money is involved and be wary of losing it cheaply.
569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can the Most Powerful Computer on Earth Hack Bitcoin? on: June 04, 2018, 07:19:39 AM
I dont think so. However anything is hackable but I believe the chances of hacking the bitcoin private keys is very very low. It can only occur maybe once in a zillion trials. So I don't think anyone would want to go through that stress. Hacking is possible only when the owner is careless with his private keys or ignorantly authorizing an access to it.
570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its time to move on, and ignore the BTC !!! on: June 03, 2018, 10:18:41 PM
You just have to get used to It. Manipulation is not evitable. All users and investors should be aware of this and be ready for long term. I won't ignore Btc, its the king and the no 1 crypto. So won't igmore it.
571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Face up to reality: The game is over on: June 03, 2018, 12:21:50 PM
For me the party is not over, there is still many more to come. you can't expect the price to always go up. Traders , holders, and baby investors have problems only when the price of a coin is reducing and then they begin to say all sort of things . you don't have to bw emotional about your investment, remember you have been advised to invest what you can afford to lose.
572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Advertising on: June 03, 2018, 11:58:55 AM
This kind of development is needed in different part of the world , personally i will like this kind advert to be done in africa countries as it will help take bitcoin amd cryptocurrency to mainstream and give proper awarness orientation and publicity for the growth and enlargennt of the crypto community.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Blockchain Survive Without Bitcoin on: June 02, 2018, 10:44:43 PM
Blockchain will definetly survive without bitcoin. The blockchain technology has gone a long way and has many application in almost all sectors, education, governance, real estate, farming, and many note. Alot of cryptocurrencies has been established on that blockchain that will solve one or two problems in real life and have many use cases. So the blockchain is beyond bitcoin and it will survive without it.
574  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance! Attention! Be cautious! on: June 02, 2018, 02:32:40 PM
I think most people are aware of this tricks as its been repeated in different form. Newbies should be very careful of this type of giveaway, this is the new trend being used by hackers in the crypto community.  always confirm and information before taking any steps , don't be too excited and forget to do the needful. Don't fall for such scam
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook is launching '' FaceCoin ''' on: June 02, 2018, 02:27:11 PM
Personally I have not seen any confirmation for the face coin. Facebook CEO said they are going to leverage on using the blockchain technology to boost their platform and this will really be a nice one for them. If they are going to make a coin , I dont think there will be ICO for it. It might be given free.
576  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Wallets on: June 02, 2018, 02:21:46 PM
Good job you @silent26 for this extensive and detailed post. I really like the Nano wallet as my best offline wallet. And I do use the blockcain wallet as my online wallet. I protect my keys and details to avoid being hacked because anything that happens is in my hand. I think there is need for a wallet that will allow bitcoin fork coins to be received.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How we can stop scam ICOs lanching? on: June 02, 2018, 02:16:58 PM
Thanks to the Security and exchange comission (SEC)  for trying to regulate and prevent the crypto community from scam ICO. This I think is going to help prevent scam ICOs and people should watchout and be careful of where they invest. Search for their team , project idea, location, identity, make sure they are not anonymous.
578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that other coins move faster? on: June 01, 2018, 12:59:29 PM
Bitcoin movement isn't slow, as its the number one coin and has made ways for other altcoins. No coin can replace or displace bit coin because of it's huge achievement. The community is still growing and will get better as the blockchain technology is taken worldwide and crytocurrency taken main stream.
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC transaction fees is going down. on: June 01, 2018, 12:48:57 PM
This is really a good news and development.  It will increase the number of bitcoin users and increase transaction rate. It will help the miners and increase transaction confirmation speed.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers send phishing emails about ICO EOS on: June 01, 2018, 12:34:58 PM
This is a sad one, as scammer rate keeps increasing. A friend was hacked with this kind of email and he lost all his valuable coins. They won't stop sending this kind of mails to steal peoples coins. Everyone should be careful and protect their email, dont click any mail you are not aware of or sure of its source you avoid being hacked.
