So if my ID is visible in the network (sent a few burst around..) what could be the reason for still getting the error id 5 while trying to set a pool for mining?
Incorrect passphrase. Make sure you're not copying any white space at the beginning/end of the phrase, or a line break in the middle - that'll change your passphrase and be a different passphrase Checked this many times, nope. Canīt be the reason.

"invalid oc values...." -- I have not put anything inside the OC number in the Dash.
One of my rigs with 3 cards are giving me this error ever since 1046(?) update. Please give us a button to "Lock" the rig from updating. Since the error message started appearing, one of the 3 cards stopped hashing or stuck at engine 300 and memory 300. I have to re-boot the rig multiple times, sometimes a dozen or more reboots before it comes back normally. It's RX OS, running 2 x 470, 1 x 480.
I have the same problem with 1 out of 5 cards on one of my rigs. tytanick told me that this should be fixed with the new kernel btw I canīt get the 300mhz card running.. even if I reboot many times. What brand is the card causing you problems?!

I had my first power delivery failure today: Four risers off of one molex drop is too much. The modular connector at the PSU burnt up.
Of course its too much! I have only one riser per cord if the gpu has a 6pin pcie and not more than two if both gpus have an 8pin pcie.. more might work too but Iīm going the secure way here ;-)

So in my first rig that uses SM (5x RX 470) one of the gpus is found but not working correct, any hint?!
Ok so I rebooted a dozen times but this ONE gpu stays at 300mhz :/
----
2nd question.
I get the "No screen session found." after every reboot even if Iīm on 1050. I have to restart the miner manually to get it working. Could that be? Or do I have to wait a few minutes more to auto start mining?
In windows you also have this one gpu problem or in windows its ok if i am seeing this right ? If you want i can login to your rig and install newer kernel which most propably solve this problem and will give you better speed. So if you want to betatest this please write email to admin@simplemining.net. I can give you simple instructions to upgrade kernel. Propably you should wait like 2-3 minutes, depend on miner, number of gpus etc. It should start automatically. If you still have problem then i can look at this. Or meaby i will prepare "special" update and give one command to execute to upgrade kernel version. If any will be interested then you will need to login via SSH into rig (its pretty simple, i can tell you how), and enter ONE command which will do the rest I will try to prepare this meaby tomorrow. In Windows all gpus are working, yepp. Sent you an email. Thanks again for the great support! Rig is online the whole day + Iīm not doing any changes.. so that you can do the kernel update (or send me instructions how to do it). If you want me to do further tests with the new kernel just let me know what you need.

1140 1140 300 1256 1220 1750 1750 300 1750 1750
try reboot. Sometimes it happens. I will release in january new kernel which propably will fix this Ok so I rebooted a dozen times but this ONE gpu stays at 300mhz :/ Can I do something else? Change the pcie slots between the gpus or something like that?! Set the OC to my standard clock settings?! Iīm missing 80-90% hash speed of that card.. it doesnīt make sense to run SM for this rig with that setting. ---- 2nd question. SM default seems proper so far. Just use your email adress as user and pw x (you need an account there, kindly use my link ) stratum+tcp://xmr.pool.minergate.com:45560

Problems with dwarf too Minergate (Sig) works good so far.

RX 1050 now ;-)
Will try sgminer right away.

Strange thing is that I can see and configure the new miner --- sgminer-gm (XMR, Zcash, ETH ) on Custom recommended !!! DEFAULT OPTIONS: --no-submit-stale --kernel cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://mine.moneropool.com:3335 -u 48fRKVUE7g9EyLfhJb3K8hTiEJWY5wQ4ue3fb4TMWeGuipRahVkCsod1BA7kyHQpDK5Hca5KEzMWRLd TtZV26QNtUJupuVx -p x --rawintensity 1008 -w 8 --text-only IMPORTANT NOTES: read more https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1612329.0 ---- but it is not working properly. ------ *Edit* Alright, will wait longer and come back with the result ;-) thanks!

"No screen session found." does mean SM is updating itself?!

Bump for phil
Hi there. Myself and couple of people here asked on using solar panel for mining. Usually how much will be installation of 10kWh? Is it possible to use a batteries to mine from them during night? Does it make send to do if the electricity price is ~12c? Thank you! Depends on the country / size... Batteries .. no.. too expensive / no one knows how long they will work -- With 12c / kwh.. I donīt think that itīll make sense. If you already own solar panels.. and pay something like 28c... than yes.
