Hi, really like your build, thanks for the work done, there is a question. Why if I use your OS getting lower by an average of 4 mh than on windows. Use Claymore 7.4 on both OS.

Ok so I rebooted a dozen times but this ONE gpu stays at 300mhz :/

Can I do something else? Change the pcie slots between the gpus or something like that?! Set the OC to my standard clock settings?!

I´m missing 80-90% hash speed of that card.. it doesn´t make sense to run SM for this rig with that setting.

----

2nd question.

I get the "No screen session found." after every reboot even if I´m on 1050. I have to restart the miner manually to get it working. Could that be? Or do I have to wait a few minutes more to auto start mining?

Problems with dwarf too  Undecided

Minergate (Sig) works good so far.

can you send your config ? i never used minergate Smiley

EDIT: i fount it:
--no-submit-stale --kernel cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://xmr.pool.minergate.com:45560 -u mail@gmail.com -p x --rawintensity 1008 -w 8 --text-only

sgminer gm working well with dwarfpool for me, using your standard settings and Poloniex XMR account

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

If you mean RX OS then you have right.
I will release in january new linux kernel which makes more speed Smiley

In windows you also have this one gpu problem or in windows its ok if i am seeing this right ?
If you want i can login to your rig and install newer kernel which most propably solve this problem and will give you better speed.
So if you want to betatest this please write email to admin@simplemining.net. I can give you simple instructions to upgrade kernel.

Propably you should wait like 2-3 minutes, depend on miner, number of gpus etc. It should start automatically.
If you still have problem then i can look at this.

Or meaby i will prepare "special" update and give one command to execute to upgrade kernel version.
If any will be interested then you will need to login via SSH into rig (its pretty simple, i can tell you how), and enter ONE command which will do the rest Smiley
I will try to prepare this meaby tomorrow.

Tytanick - for RX480 8GB cards, what is the optimum values for the raw intesity? -w ?

The defaults you used are:

--rawintensity 1008
-w 8

I think they are right.... 480 cards around 650-700h with i=1008 but 512 constantly exceeds 700-ish...

anyone has more test results on 480s, 390s?

tytanick,

Could you make that quick adjustment on "WARNING: GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT is not specified!"

GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

I'm sure that would help the performance of some cards.

Hi again, good to see the simpleminer progressing well. I have probably asked this in the past but is there any way to integrate a CPU miner? Just seems a bit of a waste to have all these rigs going and the CPU not being utilised to its full potential.

Rig is online the whole day + I´m not doing any changes.. so that you can do the kernel update (or send me instructions how to do it).
If you want me to do further tests with the new kernel just let me know what you need.
