Looks like their have been a few syncing issues reported in the sonic slack channel.
Hondo has graciously volunteered to donate some time to build a bootstrap and made a pull request to argakiig to have these syncing issues fixed.
Should have a bootstrap in the next few days although hondo is pretty quick about fixing these issues.

This is the best news I heard all day....  Even if they stopped spending today, the debt has become unmanageable to the extent that the system will collapse under its own pressure. Inflation to pay off debt is one option. Or saying F it and not paying the bills is the other. Not sure which way the FED will go but either is going to completely screw the USA for generations. So much for leaving this place better for our children. |

Yes, arg is working on the bootstrap and instructions for everyone. Hondo posted the bootstrap in slack and arg is working threw the orphan blocks.
I'm sorry for the confusion. I made this bootstrap several days ago. I thought Arg, the lead dev, would post it, but I don't think he was aware of it. Here's the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8rWObF4xz1YdWF1Yi1jU0xfZWc/view?usp=sharingSimply stop your client, unzip the file, and place the unpacked bootstrap.dat in your Sonic data directory. Then start up again. It may take up to two hours to sync. It will get you to block 476,442. Thanks for posting the reddit link to the Zimbabwe notes Fakhoury. I contacted the creator and he will reproduce it for 2 BTC. I did a little research and found that to be a bit high in price. You can pick up a complete set of Zimbabwe notes ($1-100,000,000,000,000) for $100-250 depending on the grade.
It got me thinking how many other currency's could you do this with. I found a complete set of Iranian dollars for 30 as their exchange rate is in the 30,000 to 1 USD.
Any other hyperinflation situations you guys can think of?

Referral links are pretty much a no-go everywhere except in your signature. There is just one exception (which occurs almost never), which is the following: Posts with referral links can be okay if they are on topic and substantial. For example, if someone is asking what the best exchange is, and you post a decent reply, that also has a referral link that's okay. So if you make a really good post, with pro's and con's of a service, examples of other services, etc etc etc, then (and only then) are you are allowed to post a referral link (but you must include a non-ref link as well). The thing is, 99.909∞% of the time people just make a sloppy post that doesn't contain any good information and was made purely to profit from other users. In the end it's up to the staff member to decide if your post is relevant, contains good information, etc. Ok thank you much. Just wanted to clarify before I posted a link. |

Yes cryptsy locks your account after a certain time. You can try contacting them with the necessary information, but could hold your breath for a quick response. Dealing with a little "hack" ATM...
