Extremely poor form.

I totally agree, a lot of new investors/potential supporters got fucked in the ass yesterday.

Very poor form indeed.

As someone who has been holding/following for nearly 1 year, I'm upset at the tactics used yesterday.

Shame on everyone involved.
Pumps n dumps always happen in crypto. If you're not aware of pump n dumps you shouldn't invest in crypto.

Hi, what's the fastest website after Primedice?
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Guide For Seuntjies Dice Bot on: July 12, 2016, 11:42:36 AM
Hi. Whenever I try to login on primedice with Dicebot it will fail.
Safedice is still working fine though. And logging in on Primedice.com works fine too.

Why is there no volume?
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MINT] Mintcoin - New Wallet v2.0.2 released 3/1/16 on: July 05, 2016, 10:37:16 PM
It's strange how unlike with mining, a reward halving for minting can be so unpredictable.

The new supply will be lower, but buying coins to mint will be less effective and thus will be in less demand.
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [I0C] I0coin - The Best Choice In Digital Currency on: July 05, 2016, 07:32:27 PM
Where can I buy this?

I saw it will be on C-cex soon.

My first time coming across the project. Seems fairly interesting. I would like to know about what type of traction your getting. (not talking about price rise)
https://expanse.slack.com will answer your questions much faster.

Hi,

I'm looking at this http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/expanse/
Why does available supply=2m and total supply=12.8m? What is the difference?

Thanks. I'm planning to buy.
The coinmarket cap hasn't been updated for a while, so the 2.0 million is incorrect.

Also 10 million EXP is controlled by the expanse DAO, which is not out yet.

may i know how much is the supply now and what is the yearly inflation rate please?
http://stats.expanse.tech/

Right now 294,604 blocks. Every block has 8 EXP. 2,356,832 EXP right now.
But I'm not certain about how the premine is included in this.

Blocktime is about 1 minute. So 8 EXP per minute.  *60*24*365 = about 4.2 million Expanse per year. But EXP will probabyswitch to PoS when Ethereum does, or a mixed version of PoS and PoW.

Why would they go PoS?
Same reason Ethereum wants to go PoS.

Hi. I want to margin fund USD for the nice interest rate. But I don't know how to do this effectively. If I auto-renew with FRR, they won't be taken (yet).

And if I do it manually, I'll have to do it too often and I kinda just want to forget about it.

both buy support and volume is growing on exchanges, so that may attract some big boys to come and play. also, exp was over 200k before, so I wouldn't be surprised at all if exp goes over 100k.

Add to that eth/thedao fiasco, yeah, i really think exp can go way over 100k

regards
Problem is that thedao might put have ruined future trust in DAO's even if they are much better. Expanse first has to show the DAO is working well, which it will.

Does anyone know if a  network hash chart exists for EXP like this one:

577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - Fair Launch, No ICO, Community DAO, based on Ethereum on: June 24, 2016, 07:04:45 PM
at this time mining EXP is NOT profitabily.... diff 2153 and 1 exp = 0.25$ ...
I do not understand why so many people continue to spend electricity... Undecided

Simple enough because they can and believe in the coins future so they haul it like may miners do for the future to progress. Just remember ETH was one day at this price and also BTC, LTC soon as boom happens things went uppppppppppp and away. Then come other cryptos, most alts crash and burn. To sustain anything over $0.01 per coin value and gradually grow over time is good. Hence why people still mine this. Is like mining back on other coins ges back I regret selling when I did because they got much bigger. Now I hold for the long run. I will tho sell some to cover small costs be keep good stashes for future and that is all I do from now on. Pay bills mine crypto hold, sell high, trade buy low repeat gain more. If it makes it to future and continues to grow and can see this does then happy days.

I agree, it can also be a good way to add EXP without thinking about it. Buying and holding works the same way, but mining you can sort of put on autopilot and just gather EXP over time. Smiley
Why not both.

Buy EXP  AND mine to keep the network strong and improve the price. AND HOLD.
578  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 23, 2016, 12:58:10 PM
How could it be that the pump is already over?

People aren't satisfied with this. Miners shouldn't be satisfied with this. This way most people who invested in mining companies are gonna lose hard, they won't allow that, right? The profit ASIC manufactorers made could be invested into bitcoins, the profit mining companies made the last year, could be invested in Bitcoin below a certain price.

579  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: June 21, 2016, 12:51:19 PM
Dear users,

Ethereum-only algorithm will be closed and completely replaced with Dagger-Hashimoto algorithm

We introduced Ethereum-only algorithm several months ago. It was an intermediate solution because of the lack of full stratum support in Ethereum miners and pools. A couple of weeks ago we introduced Dagger-Hashimoto algorithm which completely replaces Ethereum-only algortihm. From buyers standpoint Dagger-Hashimoto finally brings the worlds-first option to rent pay-as-you-go hashing power based on Dagger-Hashimoto, allowing you to place orders and mine Ethereum or other compatible coins, for example Expanse. For sellers/miners the Dagger-Hashimoto algorithm introduced higher payouts without the immature/unexchanged balances.

Since Dagger-Hashimoto is now fully stable, supported by several pools as well as Genoi'ls ethminer official latest 1.1.5 release, we will be closing Ethereum-only algorithm. On June 20th at 12:00 UTC we will be closing Ethereum-only algorithm and all miners are of course welcome to use the regular Dagger-Hashimoto algorithm. All the needed instructions to run ethminer on our Dagger-Hashimoto pool are available here.

Please note that all current immature and unexchanged Ethereum-only balances will be process and paid in full after the closure of Ethereum-only algorithm. Therefore you can rest assure that all your earnings are safe, will be paid out and will of course even increase once you switch to the new Dagger-Hashimoto algorithm.

Thank you for using our service!

official press release

Best regards,
NiceHash team
Hi, I'm trying  to buy  Expanse mining hash, but it seems to fail. What pool do you recommend?
