Water, I avoid the stuff. I know what fish do in it..............ewwww

I travel quite a bit and can tell you straight up an earlier poster is wrong. Most people in 3rd world countries do boil their water. To many it is almost a second religion.

Now to the watercoin/charity..........if you are just handing out bottled water to people, you are not helping even a tiny bit. What these countries need is a complete rebuild of the infrastructure from water purification plants, water mains, towers, curb to home plumbing, all the way down to new faucets. Almost none of the existing stuff is usable.

I got into a project to build a water tower in the Philippines and quickly found out it was pointless given the terrible condition of the current plumbing. Adding the water pressure the tower would have done..........well it would have ended badly. I suppose somewhere like darkest Africa it would actually be cheaper since you don't have any existing to have to tear out. But for most towns/villages in the Philippines or Vietnam, you have to tear it all out and start new. Tossing out a few bottles of water is utterly pointless.

SwapHole.com updated to new wallet, wanna give swaphole a try? Enter https://www.swaphole.com/

No, I do NOT want to give swaphole a try because it is utterly lame. We could trade coins here on the forum and accomplish the same thing without paying silly fees. FFS, get a grip!

i'm conflicted about changing protocols.. on one hand, I can see how sticking with scrypt makes sense, on other hand, I can only run half of my rigs right now and still live in the apartment without turning it into sauna, and it's not even summer yet. Thus I reluctantly wish the protocol to be changed to x11 just becasue of that. But then again, one of my smaller rigs is running cudaminer and I don't think i'd be able to use that one anymore then, so i'll point it back to litecoin or watnot..

bottom line, i'm cool with whatever devs decide, as long as they firmly believe it'll benefit the coin.

Have you thought about selling some of your GPU rigs while vid card prices are still high, then buy ASIC miners?

if people focus on buying the killercoins at 0.00000005 and then put then up for 0.00000006 then you are pushing the price up and making profit

Unless ptopex is free, ya might want to include fees in your calculations Wink

dear dev. team ,
about changing algo, have you forgot it ?for just ignore it ?
i know you're busy , but i think you do need to say something on this . thanks.
We did't forget it.
We are still discussing about changing algo in the dev team.
There will be an official announcement once the result comes out.

I will stop supporting the coin immediately if the algo is changed. It is fraudulent to do so. You announced the coin and it's algo........you can't change horses in mid-stream.

Crypto is about participation. When you design and offer a coin, you are asking people to participate. When you then change the algo, you are doing so for ONLY one reason......to exclude people from participating. All of the blah blah blah wanting ASICS out of alts is based on their personal interest and has nothing to do with any coin. They want to protect their power hungry GPU mining rigs, instead of evolving. They wish to exclude participation of others to their benefit, which is blatantly wrong and based on pure greed.

So basically what you say it that GPU owner are greedy bastards ? Are you joking ?
Do you think those who will buy asic will do it just to secure the network ?
Not everybody has 10000$ to put in a miner (which won't even be delivered before two to three month).
Although, I don't have anything against asic, they will certainly exclude more people than gpu are currently.

I never called anyone a bastard. I said peoples desire to change algo's to benefit THEM is based on greed and/or them not being willing to evolve. Change is scary for some people, but the simple fact is GPU's are good at video and an ASIC is good at mining. The reluctance of people to switch from an inefficient unit to an efficient one baffles me. Some will say they don't have the money to buy an ASIC, but that is likely because they already spent it on buying the wrong thing...a GPU. I think we all know what this has done to the price of GPU's, so now even non-miners have to pay out the ass just to play a video game.

Imagine how idiotic it sounds when someone says they want to keep their inefficient unit and make gamers and other people pay more, instead of selling off the inefficient setup and buying one that runs cool, quiet, and for much less power. To then compound the lunacy with cries for algos to force people into using inefficient rigs simply boggles the mind. Evolve or die, but ffs don't try to force me to die along with you.

Once you step onto the slippery slope of excluding people and are comfy with it, who is next? NVidia miners? Left-handed people? Anyone with green eyes? Where does it stop? Trust me I could dev a coin where you would need an Intel CPU, but AMD is excluded, and it has to be i7 4770, not 4770k and you have to have 32GB of Corsair 2400 DDR3 RAM, not Kingston 1600 DDR3 RAM. A simple system info check could exclude whatever I wish. That is NOT what crypto is about. Stop trying to hate on people and exclude them because they are willing to invest more in the system than you. Evolve or die.

Everything you said is a contradiction...So instead of arguing with someone who sees everything backwards on matters that can become opinionated, I'll only mention how the dev said before the coin even launched that they were considering switching to X11. If a random coin says it is going to upgrade to KGW, do you also throw a fit too because it wasn't initially launched with it? Or will you realize that cryptocurrencies are an everchanging and evolving, which is why there are these upgrades in the first place? If anyone wants to pick this up and inform this person how the greed is primarily found in ASIC's because they notoriously make it impossible for someone whom doesn't have much money to have a chance at mining, I'd be happy to be saved the time. ( I realize I ended up arguing anyway...ugh)

The decision was made to launch the coin......end of. You can't go changing up things mid-stream to placate others. If you want to dev ANOTHER coin using whatever algo, that is cool...........but ya released THIS coin using scrypt and it shouldn't be changed simply to exclude other people.

My mining .bat file just has minerd to open it and then pool:port u/p that's it.

This is an i7 CPU and 8GB ram and I have no problems running it while GPU mining with any other coin.

I'm not CPU mining, but your minerd start.bat or conf. will need to tell minerd to use keccak, not scrypt(which is the default I think) You will also need a version of minerd with keccak support.

This is outlined on the first post: minerd.exe -a keccak -o stratum+tcp://pool-url.com:port -u worker -p password

What arguments do you have in your CPU miner? Also keep in mind cgminer will be using some CPU and memory while doing keccak.

Ummm........you are already on an exchange with a lot of sellers and no buyers. What makes you think another exchange is waiting to jump at the chance to get your coin on their exchange?

Let me ask, how many KILR do you have, roughly?

No need for "roughly"   0.00000118   SELL   3037.23072038   0.00358393

yo fellas,

I just need a confirm from you, I have one 5850 and it gives me cca 165MHash/s. Is that speed ok or do I have to somehow setup a cgminer differently (I have downloaded it from 1st post).

Btw, Cryptometh rocks! Grin I hope it will be a established and with good price  very soon!

This site will adjust the hash for different algos    http://whatmine.com/   and approximate what you should be hashing at.

Well it looks like I'll get about 150 coins from this crap released shitcoin before diff is insane. Thanks for wasting my time dev and pool ops.

https://water.suprnova.cc doing fine, cool launch ! Smiley

If by "cool" you mean most of the miners were left stranded for nearly 30 minutes..........then I guess, yes it was cool.

I was stranded too, i think i had the source as the last pool :-P But the launch was okay, it was NOT postponed ;-)

Pool operators are going to have to stop the silly shit of grabbing the source and starting to mine themselves, THEN go have a sandwich and a beer before they activate the dam pool!
