Something isn't right here.  I'm not one to side with the conspiracy theorists, but there is a lot to this story that isn't getting released

A plane crashed in the sea, people dies. What more is there to it, appart from the usual stuff with officials lying, trying to avoid blame and so on?

A plane just didn't crash into the sea. I don't buy that in 2014 with all the technology that we have, that a plane just goes missing without a trace for almost 3 weeks.
562  Other / Off-topic / Re: Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. WTF? on: March 25, 2014, 02:08:09 AM
I have a feeling that they won't ever find out exactly what happened with that plane and where did it crash. Or landed. There are just too many uncertainties and wild guesses going on.

I highly doubt they ever will either.  Even if they do, I'll never believe the story they release.  Something isn't right here.  I'm not one to side with the conspiracy theorists, but there is a lot to this story that isn't getting released

So admin is keeping an eye on this thread ..!
So anyone here keeping a track of numbers already guessed .?
anyway my guess for the day

No admin is not keeping an eye on this thread, his last post was 3 weeks ago and it was his second post on bitcointalk

Look at last page comments, we may even have guessed most numbers between 1-1000

From what I can see, most guesses these days are duplicates.  I decided to set up a spread sheet the other night because I was bored. From what I can tell, there are still around 100 numbers that have not been guessed, if not more.

It is unlucky that we guessed 900 wrong numbers

I guess you created a new account to make this give away for some reason but you have an other account on bitcointalk..

I can't think of a good reason to do so...

Exactly, it's not like he could have legal troubles by using his normal nickname

Definitely unlucky. Only time will tell if the OP is legit.  Not sure why they would create a new account, doesn't make much sense to do so. Is there proof that they have?

That's hilarious, too bad it doesn't say how they caught the student.

I remember reading a story a while back about how a teacher set every computer in his classroom to mine Bitcoin.

But you need to write here from time to time if you want to lift those restrictions.

You only need to post once a fortnight to get your full activity points though, providing your post count is higher than your current activity.
I thought this was common knowledge? There's a sticky in the
Meta for those who wants to read about it themselves though. Smiley

Apparently not given the number of queries and threads about it. Admittedly, it is quite confusing at first.
This is basically cause 99% of everyone who joins the forum does NOT read the "Newbie read-me" thread that's
stickied. They rather just join, post all their questions and has someone else answer it for them.

That's true, but the activity still is confusing even if you do read the sticky explaining it.
Oh yeah I agree, I found their formula mind-melting for the first week.

Same for me.  It only started to make sense when I saw it change a couple times. Like most things on this forum, it takes using it for a while for things to make sense.  Then again, that's how it works for pretty much everything. There is always a learning curve.
567  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you see when you go to bed? on: March 24, 2014, 04:30:02 AM
With the price of Bitcoin and Litecoin these days, all I see is dollar signs being flushed down the almighty crapper.
568  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 0.01 BTC Giveaway on: March 24, 2014, 04:27:41 AM
For anyone saying that the number had to have been guessed by now, there are a tonne of numbers that haven't been guessed.  There are lots of numbers that have been guess 5 or more times as well.  Some probably close to 10.

The OP is also still active.  He has been updating and editing post 2 daily by the looks of it.

* an additional 0.0005 BTC per post

adds up quite nicely.  Smiley
He can change rules and run any time without any explanation as he do few months ago  Cheesy

You do lose a few days when you switch from a campaign to an other and having the certainty of being paid has a lot of value

0.0006 instead of 0.0001 seems worth the risk though!
The best chance would be to switch now I guess, a couple days before the payout is scheduled. If you don't get paid you only lost a couple of days, and if you do, you can stay for another month. Smiley

For some, I guess it would be worth while. Especially if a person makes a lot of posts.  I know for myself, I'd have a hard time making 50 posts before the end of the month. I made just over 100 posts for the last Prime Dice pay period.

Hopefully Stunna will re-think the rates and make Prime Dice more competitive.

So I'm wondering how others are getting their referrals.  I've got almost all of mine using twitter and a couple through public facebook posts.

I've noticed most of my referrals have now stopped playing though, likely because of the low price of Bitcoin. Anyone have any interesting ways to pick up referrals?

572  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: March 21, 2014, 08:23:17 PM
All I know is I do this for one reason and that is to make some coin!  If Ritz don't pay I'll likely find my way back here after already having a bad experience in the past.  I do this for the coin simple as that and you can bet I'll be ranting up a storm for a long time to come if I don't get paid, period.

No risk = no reward imo.
This is exactly the attitude we don't need in the forums. People posting just "to make some coin."

Exactly.  That is what has created this mess in the first place.  I figure it's only a matter of time before the mods have enough and disable sigs all together.

Payment received, thanks Stunna.

Going to continue with Prime Dice this round.  Hoping the payment per post gets increased a bit though to stay competitive.

Still have NOT received any payment for the previous month. Has anyone?? Whats up?

Please be a bit patient and give me another day to get through these. I've been very busy

Great. Thanks for ur hard work
Stunna starts payments sending hope all will clear in next few hours many already have in wallets

Still haven't received mine, not worried at all though.  Just wondering, does anyone else have 2 0.00000001 unconfirmed transactions in their wallet? They are from the 16th.  I'm sure they will disappear like the ones a bunch of us got a while back.  Just curious to see if others got them as well.

It's Back now:
Blockchain.info is FULLY back including the wallets.

Blockchain.info

U can check balance of ur addy here http://blockexplorer.com/

Or import backup to multibit.

http://blockexplorer.com/ not working with me... it loads only front page.

Didn't work for me either. Probably just a frontend to blockchain.info... Grin

I just noticed only search is not working, if you use direct link it will work (http://blockexplorer.com/address/youraddress) it work, but it show wrong balance for still...

Search just worked for me.
Hopefully the wallets will come back soon.

Blockchain.info works now for me.

Blockchain.info is 100% back including the wallets.

edit: Down again??

It sure looks like it.  It appeared to be back up a little earlier, but now I get:

Error 522 Ray ID: 10d793f790b9050e
Connection timed out

It's rather annoying, hopefully they get their shit together soon.  I'm willing to bet everyone trying to get back in all at once likely crashed it again though.

Hi can i join this ? Cheesy ,

Yeah you can, the instruction on joining are here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=291387.msg3119391#msg3119391

This. Is. So. Annoying.

How about giving us an option to donate to the site to remove this?! I'll send 2-3 USD worth of BTC right NOW to remove it.

If you care to donate, you can always do it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0

It really isn't that big of a deal, you just need to get used to it.  Also, the limits will be raised as your level increases.  Soon, it will be a distant memory and you'll laugh about it down the road.
580  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Nearly burned down my home due to mining farm (tips on how to stay safe ) on: March 18, 2014, 09:00:19 PM

I would think they would deny coverage.  It's not like we are using the PSU's as they were designed to be used.  Here in Canada everything has to be CSA approved.  Not sure about anywhere else, but I would think all Countries have similar laws.  I highly doubt any of the equipment meets the safety standards required.

CSA only approves mass-produced devices. If it is no longer being produced, it is no longer CSA approved.

For that reason UL approval is also accepted.

That still means one-off jerry-rigs may not be covered if they cause a fire Tongue

I wonder how many fall under UL approval?

Which I bet they would consider most mining rigs and set ups.  I've seen some pics of peoples set ups and I cringe. Even the good ones look still like a mess of wires that I'm sure insurance companies would shy away from.

Definitely not something I would want to leave in their hands, pretty sure they get paid to find any reason to deny a claim.
