561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to avoid fraudulent projects? on: October 21, 2019, 05:42:34 PM
Researches on new bounty projects can only safe you to an extent, some bounty projects are legit looking but its only a way to scam investors, even with my level of doing research on projects i still fall victim to scam projects, its all about trying over and over again, i wish projects like gowithmi will find there way into crypto space
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another Shit Coin Up 155.54% (24H) Today on: October 21, 2019, 05:37:27 PM
When will these shit coins go away so all the damn money spent on them can go to real projects like Ripple's XRP? We need regulations now.

Wixlar (WIX) today's price is $0.0225 with a current market cap of $53,889,162.00. Wixlar (WIX) 24-hour price change is 155.54% up.
Believe me any coin or token that rise up over 100% in value apart from bitcoin itself is scam, with this present market condition its pretty hard for every altcoins to surge up in price, even good IEO projects on binance are not returning big returns anymore
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing does not have to wait long on: October 18, 2019, 03:50:07 PM
Volatile prices sometimes make us confident, even more so when the price of the coins we invest rises high. sometimes some people don't want to sell their assets and wait for a higher price. You might feel it when you have a coin like that. but I agree, that there is no need to wait long when you have benefited from it. sometimes people regret not selling their assets when prices are high, and regret when prices have dropped dramatically.
people constantly regret. I think that they should understand what they did wrong. They were too greedy or just bought the wrong coin. if they thought about how to avoid mistakes the next time, they would complain less
Investing have to wait long to me, i belief thats the definition of investment, some people who knew nothing much about crypto that rushed in when bull run was alive and kicking always thinks thats the perfect time to join, they forget that bullrun season is for those who are already around since bear market and have get their hands on good coins
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trust Wallet - Trustworthy? on: October 18, 2019, 03:46:47 PM
I am using Trust Waklet on my handphone. Basically it stores all my coins. But I wonder is it safe? What if my phone crash. What if I buy a new phone and need to transfer the wallet over? Is there any best practices for Trust Wallet. This is basically my entire fortune and I am trying to be as safe as possible
I hope you are not using IPhones? because you are not safe if you are, if you are using android phone then you are safe and all you need to do is get the back up of your address, they are in words might be 12 or 16 or even more words, just find a safe place to write down the words

Either trust wallet or other wallets make sure you get your recovery seed, thats the only way to get access to your funds if any thing go wrong e.g lost your phone or it got stolen, you only need your recovery seed and you can import the seed into other wallet and all your funds will be restore
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: October 17, 2019, 02:57:20 PM
Before now, I have always been getting it wrong about cryptocurrency. A friend recently opened my eyes to see how I could have increase little coins I have to fortune overtime by day-trading. But I am no that type. I had always thought I could only make fortune in crypto by hodling a certain coin for long.

13 months ago, I bought SNTR worth about $100 hoping that in few months I'll wallow in milliions of dollars like Ian Balina , but the reverse is often the case in the subsequent ones I bought. Sad fact, $100 worth of SNTR 13 months ago now less than $2.

Recently, I watched several videos of how to analyse a coin or token to invest in, gained some good knowledge of the basics. I discovered day-trading tokens like DX token and Atomic wallet (AWC) could have actually make me what I hope to be If i had the right information. But its never too late. Yet, I am drowned in mentality that hodling for long can only be the fortune I hope for. Reason I need help.
They both have their advantages and disadvantages, you are tired of holding because the coins and tokens keeps loosing value but remember that you still got same quantity when you are holding, many decide to trade to increase their token in quantity and end up losing all
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earning crypto on games - are you serious? on: October 17, 2019, 02:55:05 PM
I'm seeing a lot of posts and top-lists with the best crypto games lately. At the moment there’s a huge selection of crypto games online starting from simple casino slots and finishing by shooters, 3D action, and exploration games. I see a lot of promos, articles, etc, but I never heard of the efficiency of those games for their users. Take this top-5 for example. Does anyone even play it? Are you doing it for fun, or is it really a profitable way of earning crypto?

How relevant are blockchain games and is it possible to make any profit on them? By 'making any profit' I mean an alternative to trading, mining, etc.
Share your experience.
You should check out DECIMATED project, its the only blockchain based game that looks and feels like PC gaming because of its better gaming graphics looks and designs are badass, will playing you will earn rare collectible virtual items in the game

568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Old good airdrops on: October 16, 2019, 09:43:52 AM
I got lots of tokens and coins from airdrops this year but this is just the good part about airdrops, mostly all the tokens and coins are worthless and some never find way to exchanges, i joined and received tokens from
1. Air wallet
2. Hyperion X
3. Crowd for angels
4. Monarch
5. Mindsync A.I
6. MYWISH - tronish
7. CrowdVilla

They all paid but the worth of the tokens are zero to none
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Update List Scam Airdrop 2019 ...... on: October 16, 2019, 09:39:49 AM
I'm not familiar with the other projects listed but I've promoted Mycro before thru bounty (not airdrop).

It's been two weeks since this thread has been opened MYCRO JOBS: Cheat, corruption, scam, KYC only three days for prize hunters. but they have not even responded. Just goes to show how they think of their community.
Lol, i knew that mycro jobs bounty won't pay, i don't see anything good in the project though because the real use case feels watched, unrealistic and won't attract any good investors, well many airdrops are scam and i will drop few that doesn't pay till this day

1. Decimated
As good as this gaming platform is they fooled airdrop hunters, after airdrop is over they forced us to buy part of the DCI token to get airdrop tokens.

2. VODIX
Vodi x is a legit project but they go against their airdrop rules after it ended, they force KYC to claim airdrop tokens
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Still Believe in 2.0 on: October 15, 2019, 11:33:42 AM
well,This is a continuation of the story of the Eth 2.0.
since my last topic about gotcha moment of ETH, the story continued with "no plan for how or when to migrate tokens and smart contracts onto Eth 2, according to ethereum creator Vitalik Buterin, James Prestwich and other leading community members"

This is something that seems be rushed, lack of strategy and that is not denied by Devcon attendees.
As Prestwich explained, the first phase of Eth 2 – called Phase 0 – is coming this winter:“Ether moved to the Phase 0 chain will be converted to a new token. These tokens can’t be moved on-chain. At least six months after launch, a hard fork will add transfers. Until then, users are locked in.”
but There’s no clear plan for how to migrate hundreds of ethereum-based tokens and smart contracts, including DeFi projects, to the new chain in the foreseeable future.

well, based on the perspective of Buterin who said Eth 1 was a successful experiment that paved the way for Eth 2. i just think even it hard, they will solved it,although they now have problem with startegy, coordination, etc.

any thought,friends ?

source
Whooh! i though the ETH 2.0 upgrade is just a better version of the normal eth? why new blockchain? this is a dangerous move because many businesses are already built around the ETH first blockchain, this move can drag Ethereum down
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I talk about market problems? on: October 15, 2019, 11:30:59 AM
I just want to know, about market issues.
1. Reasons that make you survive or still believe in this market?
2. Is this what is called a market cycle, I mean back to the time before bitcoin reached the highest price in 2017? or maybe like 2014, 2015 or 2016? because I'm not there yet.
3. Why has the recent rise in bitcoin prices not affected the market situation for the better or had an impact on the rise in altcoin prices?
4. In your opinion how to overcome the market situation so that it can be stable again?
You need to do some research on what we called bitcoin dominance, you can find more info on the internet to understand better, Whatever is happening in crypto world presently is just seasonal, things will change again when the time is right
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Harsh Reality About The Current ICO Project on: October 14, 2019, 02:46:53 PM
I feel cheated ... but the fact that every project that promises or claims tokens will eventually increase at a very high price is just nonsense ...
in a statement on the road map they promised to use project funds for further product development, but they were only trying to take advantage of the investors' black money ...
what they have to do is develop their product further, not just start doing it or say all the sweet promises ...

maybe it's one of the things they have to reconsider, if their project wants to be successful and the project product can be sold out in the market ...
I hope I'm not mistaken about this.
There is no way you will learn if you are not cheated on in the firstplace, i have been cheated severally just as many on here as well, i later start making sure i pick projects based on what will make them favourable to the public, will there be high demand for the token? i ask myself this question a lot, many new projects of today are just remakes of what we have on the market already
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum 2.0 Pulls Up Ether? on: October 14, 2019, 02:33:28 PM

Despite the slow growth of the Ether, I remain a strong believer in this digital asset. There are some people who have already disillusioned with this cryptocurrency platform claiming that it is not anymore the way it should be and that the leadership of Vitalik Buterin is not doing enough in the face of many challenges the network has to work on.

Now, the platform will soon be unleashing the Ethereum 2.0 which many expect can finally pull out the whole ecosystem from the block hole it is in. Do you think this can be the answer we are looking especially on the question/concern of scalability?

Yea many said eth is already at its last life circle but i refuse to believe because i know the project is been backed by good team, they are ready to deliver the best we've never seen yet and the 2.0 will make the eth platform the best one for developers, eth won't make it this far if it has a bad team, lets wait and see what happens
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What makes you still join the bounty campaigns? on: October 13, 2019, 05:52:47 AM
An open question to all bounty hunters. What makes you still join the bounty campaigns?

I was the regular bounty hunter in 2017 and early half of the 2018 but once 80% of my joined bounties started to turn scam without paying a penny, I dropped the idea. By looking the current situation, I can conclude that the situation has now worsen and the success rate of bounties is now dropped to further low. So my question is why you still join bounties? Are you getting paid? If yes, then which one gave you best rewards this year? Who is the best manager/s currently in bounty domain?
Hope, hope that i will come across a very good new project that will pay bounty hunters good reward and find its way to better exchange, so close with miracle tele project though, many bounty hunters make good money from the project but i made a mistake by trying to hold my own tokens
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Attitude that can shape the altcoin sector positively on: October 12, 2019, 10:42:35 AM
The altcoin sector is by far the biggest in terms of numbers of coin in the cryptocurrency market. Ethereum is the most valuable altcoin but it's like the glory day of ethereum is in the past now. Investors are by passing the opportunity to invest in altcoin in preference to the number one coin bitcoin.

Why is there a sharp decline in the altcoin sector? This question keeps coming up in the head of cryptocurrency followers, like two years ago altcoin was a very promising sector which everyone expected more form but fast forward two years on the case seems to be negative.
my answer to the question is attitude yes our attitude can impact either negative way or the opposite.

What are this attitude we have exhibited that has negatively impacted on altcoin.
1. Selfishness. Most investors are selfish they only care about what they can make but don't give a damn what happens to the coin it self, bounty hunters to have a role to play to they are snappy to dispose of the coin and this sure will decline the price
2. Poor publicity on the part of the developers. Altcoin can very much get into the cryptocurrency market with out being known developers should focus more time into spreading awareness about there project.
3. Poor road map. Developers should not create an unrealistic road map that they know can't be achieved cut your coat according to your size. Be truthful and real to the project.

Listen to yourself, what makes people dump in the first place? there was a time when people like holding coins and tokens but they lose while keeping them, 99percent of the value of tokens are gone, who are to be blame? crappy projects builders of course and stop saying ETH glory days is in the past, the team are very serious and very soon eth will bring a new changes to altcoin space soon
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Crypto Criminals got balls because no COP or law to tackle them on: October 12, 2019, 10:36:05 AM
I read people's post on this forum saying even if regulations find its way to crypto space scams will never seize to exist and they keep comparing it to real life criminals even when we have COPS ,POLICE FBI, COURTS crime rate is still increasing, well this is my answer to all of you, in crypto space we don't have COPs or Police to hunt down scammers, accepted, but what do you think will happen if there is no cops, police, courts in real life? criminal activities will grow alot with no boundaries, it will be the same thing with crypto space, if there are laws that can jail scammers at least they will start hiding and there will be FEAR, unlike when there is nothing to fear off scammers now, scammers have too much freedom compare to real life criminals where there is something to tackle them.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If regulation never comes on: October 12, 2019, 10:26:55 AM
Who says we will be able to protect ourself even if crypto is regulated globally. We can see crimes happening daily in our life despite the fact that Cops/CBI/Courts are there to fight crimes.
Similarly, even if crypto will be regulated, there will be scams happening everyday. There is nothing much we can do about it other than to educate ourself enough to stay aware and alert from such scams.
You have a point pal but do not compare real life criminal acts to digital, its more worse, you are using COPs and FBI and courts to judge but we don't have any of that in crypto space yet, just imagine how the world will be if there is no COPs and FBI and Courts? its nothing but road to more crimes
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do not be deceived by inexperienced bounty hunters on: October 12, 2019, 10:23:31 AM
Its a fact that those who make good bucks from bounties will never come on here and boss about it lol but actually the present results of bounty hunting is generally bad and almost everyone is complaining, only very few bounty projects became successful this year so far, if i have any other way i would have quit bounty job but i have no choice
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters needs to start respecting themselves on: October 11, 2019, 10:53:05 AM
Developers are at fault too, they start bounty campaigns with no limited participants, if bounty allocation is very low in usd value its always better to limit the participants that can promote the project so that the reward per participants will make sense
Not developers fault at all, put yourself in their shoes won't you want to make the news of your project reach millions of people around the globe? i bet that will be your aim as well, isn't it? they are not to be blame at all, they need many investors as possible as they can get
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Experience from day one on: October 11, 2019, 10:49:57 AM
Its all different experiences when it comes to airdrop and bounties, some will found airdrops to be better and some will found bounty as the better choice, i myself prefers both because i don't know which one will favours so i just hunt both, bounties takes much time just as airdrops do, no difference at all
