Can someone donate for a good start?

Burnin wrote me that he was working 14 hours a day for the last months.

Unbelievable, that one guy did this great project on his own.

You see it is like this.

Someone's gotta do it. And there is gonna be people who just go and do it. But there will be one or two guys, that just do it a bit more. Think about it. I heard Burnin just graduated from University some time ago. With this project, with this success, he can basically fund whatever company he wants, make very good money, maybe even buy a house. This is the one project that we all dream of. The project where you sit down, kill yourself after uni, ignore social life, ignore everything else, create this hyperfocus on something and just do it.

And then, then you get it done and it works. And you have done it, you have done it more than anyone else around you and you have not been arrogant about it, not talked about it a lot but instead, you have just done it. And it pays off.

And it seems Burnin did it. He just did, and did it, and did it.

(Credits go to Art Williams for this one Wink )

+1000

I believe that in few years we will see a novel, natgeo/discovery documentary series or a movie about bitcoin and burnin for sure will be one among the "founding fathers" of ASIC revolution Smiley

This is a really powerful group  Cool

Burnin alone will likely add 3-5 TH/s per week to the network over the next few months.

I have a question: do I need a CAN-BUS stacking cable for two boards or can they be connected to a laptop/raspberry using a simple USB hub or just two USB ports?
Sure you can connect them to separate USB ports or a hub.
Thanks, I just wonder if this won't affect cgiminer or boards somehow.

I admit that I'm a noob when it comes to this kind of hardware, I hope someone will make a step-by-step guide how to connect and set up Bitburners to start mining.. I don't mean PC-miner connection but power supply for boards/fans and internal connection among boards.
567  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: July 23, 2013, 08:06:41 PM
The site is working perfectly, order placed and paid in BTC without any problems.
Great job.

Looks interesting.
Are exact start/end dates defined? Or should I assume it will last 6 months from today?

Or just request refunds.

576  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: July 09, 2013, 10:32:07 AM
I've browsed through all 61 pages of this thread and couldn't find any info, so I am asking:

Will there be hosting option for those boards or only assembly & shipping ?

577  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] BITFURY group buy and HOSTING in Poland EU - NO VAT - 61/300 shares sold on: July 09, 2013, 08:45:59 AM
There was a clear deadline. Devices should have been bought immediately after the deadline.
Buy the devices until 18:00 CET or count me out.
Please send all my BTC to the address they were sent from as soon as possible then.
Agree.
You shouldn't change the rules in that way.
People have joined your group buy with certain terms & conditions. The deadline was clear and have passed.
 Huh
578  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] BITFURY group buy and HOSTING in Poland EU - NO VAT - 46/300 shares sold on: July 08, 2013, 08:17:15 PM
After reading all details on pajak666's store I can assure that it looks like a legit company, all this can be verified in national business registry etc.

I'm also from Poland and I am going to support our local bitcoin mining farms Smiley

I'd be interested but I see there is no big interest in this buy just a few hours before its end.
With current status: 46/300, let's say +10-20 till the end, what exactly are you going to buy? 25 GH/s devices?
