The guys who made the $250k investment can easily pump price to 500 sat without it even causing a dent to them. Why you think a lot of asian miners mining this coin. Is there any transparancy about the $250k investment? Is it possible to reveal the private investment to 5 honest and trusted DGB people (i would nominate halinyo, HR, tamilee, o0o0 and Verias) with a non-disclosure agreement? I hope i have enough trust and honesty to say that the investment is real and you believe me. Nothing to say more or less. i´m sure that 90% of the community will back me up on this one. |

I really don't think its over supply at all. In my opinion, the problem with alt coins in general is that they just aren't that useful in many places, or if I can buy something with the currency, how easy is it for me to do so? For a lot of things if I want to buy something I would have to buy BTC, convert it to DGB, then pay for the item. All of which take a transaction / conversion hit.
What can I buy with Digibyte? And how easy is it for me to buy that item? There is certainly a list of growing merchants and I am glad for that but until we are ready for the masses to start using DGB there is going to be a lot of downward pressure just because people aren't using it.
The opposite might be true, the more use the coin has it will add to downward pressure as you will have merchants and miners selling dgb. Guldencoin is a good example of this, the more merchants and use they have added the harder the price is dropping. For the long term this is a must of course but since we all talking short term that is the reality. Do you have any numbers about merchants transaction/volume for Guldencoin? I think its not even 500$ a months imo. My last in-store NLG transaction whas like 2 months ago. |

I bought millions @ 10 sat - 80 sat. Longterm holding so i really do not care. What do you think Digibyte is worth right now? Yes,Not 40 sat. So why complain when you are a longterm holder? BTC 15% up also so nothing to loose atm Do you mine? I mine, but I hold. The last Digibyte transaction I made was to buy more, that was last week. There are a hell of alot more coins out there offering better returns than Digibyte at the moment. Most people here believe in Jared and his team to come out with something awesome, that's why there is so much support. My point is this community is full of miners. The non-miners have nothing too benefit from this coin. Waiting on the next update (usually mining related) I'm not a miner but nothing to benefit from this coin? A chance? Offcourse there is always a chance but Digibyte will stay multi-algo for now. well..that explain such a good coin with so depressing price....as long as it's still a POW and more than 6 millions coin can be mine per day,i don`t see any reason ppl should worry about no coins to buy in the next 20 years...i no mean offence here and i do like DGB but whats worry me is the miners dumping for the next 20 years..i will still invest in DGB but not in mass..right now i spend 10% of my profit from other POS coins to buy DGB...cheers! Untill people see the real value of Digibyte and hold them for long term? That could happen within 1 month -2 years ,, nobody knows what will happen. You buy digibyte from the profit of other pos coins? Thats exactly the same as mining coin X to buy coin Y. Give some other reasons why pos is better? |
