DigiStats is now live guys, enjoy! Our node map is still not available but it will be fixed soon. Thanks for all the support and both me and esotericizm hope that you enjoy this service. Your welcome to show your support by sending us some Digi's! Welcome to the official DigiStats forum thread! DigiStats provides statistics and other network information for interested parties within the DigiByte community. We have a wide selection of stats, charts, market information, a richlist and even our own block explorer! Through DigiStats we are trying to support the adoption of DigiByte by developing the tools any successful cryptocurrency will eventually need. Thanks to all our supporters and especially to esotericizm for having developed much of the platform. Features- Basic Network Statistics
- Block Explorer
- DigiMap - Node map
- DGB to fiat calculator in 150 different currencies
- Statistics Charting
- Price Charting
- DigiByte Richlist
- More features to come!
Upcoming FeaturesThis is a list of potential upcoming features (NOTE: There is no timeline for these features): - Network Analysis: This will be a selection of statistics and charts related to the DigiByte network itself! We will be analysing the peer info data and trying to extract meaningful numbers.
- Network Analysis Whitepaper: Resulting from the work on the point above we aim to release a white paper presenting our results for the more mathematically inclined.
- Pool Hashrate Data: We plan on collecting as much data from the pools as possible and present it in a user-friendly way in order for users to assess the different contributions to the DigiByte network by various different pools.
Development Timeline- Purchase domain, hosting and getting started! (Week 0-1): (COMPLETED) The first thing that needs to be done is to set up a hosting service, purchase the domain name and set up!
- Front-end development (Week 1-2): (COMPLETED) The first thing we will be doing is setting up the front end portion of the website.
- Back-end development (Week 2-3): (COMPLETED) This is the meaty bit! Here we develop the back-end portion of the website. (Note: Both front and back end development have been done at the same time).
- Preliminary Launch (Week 3): (COMPLETED) Once some basic testing has been completed the website will be up and running and ready to use!
- Continued development (Week 3+): Bonus features and more to come!
Community FeedbackWe really appreciate community input so if you have any ideas or suggestions for new features or if you’ve spotted a bug then don’t hesitate to drop me a PM. For general comments etc. you can post below! Financial SupportOur funding targets: - Funding target one: 200K DGB (COMPLETED) – This will be used to purchase the initial hosting services and the domain name!
- Funding target two: 500K DGB (COMPLETED) – This will be used to purchase a longer term hosting contract and maintain the platform in the longer term.
- Extended Funding: 500K+ DGB – You are always welcome to show your support by sending us DGB. All DGB received at the address below will be used exclusively to build DigiStats and help other projects get off the ground!
A special thanks to Jumbley, EPLDCC, ReSI, 24hralttrade, Cyptoraver, Sharkzz1, Timon2010 and all others who have contributed DGB towards this project! If you have any questions please post below! Great work, all in one place Can someone confirm why we cannot have an updated rich list? Those results are not correct or updated.

Yeah we're having a slight problem with the block explorer so the richlist is not fully updated. The node map isn't functioning yet as well but we will get the fixed up soon.
For now it is not open source no sorry.

I don't think so given the current conditions, but if there is a better method, algorithm later, why not? What I think is that DGB is going to follow bitcoin's strategy. If Bitcoin switches to POS, then yes, DGB will also, I think.

@bitkapp http://digistats.info is down! I must not donated a enough DGB to help keep it up. I'm mining DGB for digistats.info I'll have it at the end of the day. About 1,000 DigiBytes coming, it's not a lot but it's something right?

A chance? Offcourse there is always a chance but Digibyte will stay multi-algo for now. well..that explain such a good coin with so depressing price....as long as it's still a POW and more than 6 millions coin can be mine per day,i don`t see any reason ppl should worry about no coins to buy in the next 20 years...i no mean offence here and i do like DGB but whats worry me is the miners dumping for the next 20 years..i will still invest in DGB but not in mass..right now i spend 10% of my profit from other POS coins to buy DGB...cheers!

Richlist loads but because its realtime it takes a little while to compute the top balances. I'll move it to a seperate database in the coming days and add the pie chart back in. Added some API documentation for the explorer API but if you want to see the richlist in json format you can do so at http://digistats.info/api/explorer/richlist=100 Changing the "100" changes how many addresses are displayed but don't go too high. Considering open sourcing it but not until I'm happy its user friendly. It's a work in progress and I'll be making constant updates.

Untill people see the real value of Digibyte and hold them for long term? That could happen within 1 month -2 years ,, nobody knows what will happen. You buy digibyte from the profit of other pos coins? Thats exactly the same as mining coin X to buy coin Y. Give some other reasons why pos is better?
