561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why crypto market is volatile on: March 22, 2019, 07:31:21 AM
Hey, I have some moderate experience over this crypto world. Why the market is extensively volatile. Alike traditional market does crypto too impacted of many major changes.

I think it is volatile because most cryptocurrencies are not backed by physical things like gold, silver, or other precious things.
From what i know, we need gold reserve to print fiat money, it means money backed by gold.
Some stable crypto like USDT and TUSD are not volatile, because it backed by real money.
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to invest in a couple alts.. on: March 22, 2019, 07:11:36 AM
Hi,
I've got a small bit of money to invest with. I trade these days. But it'd give me peace of mind knowing I'm also holding a bit.

I'm thinking of going with Ethereum. maybe 50% ETH / 50% BTC
Are there any of the top10 altcoins that are currently a better buy than ETH?

I think ETH is a good coin to buy because the block reward of the miners has been reduced to 2 ETH (before was 3 ETH)
Other than ETH, lets take a look at LTC. Litecoin price has increasing since few months ago, it may still going up.
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do if you are deceived? on: March 22, 2019, 04:38:40 AM
If i getting deceived, i think im gonna review why that happened. In cryptocurrency, anonymity is one of the advantage.
When you want to transfer money using bank account, you need real name, but you don't need real name to transfer your crypto coin.
So, other peoples can deceive you without their identity revealed to you.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 icos on: March 22, 2019, 04:23:33 AM
hiii guys...
im mohammad from iran. i want to know how can i find best ico for investment in 2019?Huh

what i must to do?Huh

the electricity price in my country is very cheap but i haven't enough money to set up a mining farm, so i want to invest on icos.
which of 2019 icos is your suggestion???

You cannot find the best ico to invest in 2019 by just asking people's opinion.
There are many scammers nowadays promoting scam projects so they can get your money.
What you must do is, search for this forum with your own effort, and research the project, the team, and their long term plan.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how you feel at this point(currently) on: March 21, 2019, 07:35:14 AM
i am feel , this stable point keep for some time, after 2-5 years we can expect huge bull run. near future i am not expecting and i dont think bull run comes.
now no new investment coming.

my portfolio now below 50$ , i am anyway ok. i know this will be rise ...

how about your thought

https://www.bitcoin-socialclub.com/

I recommend you to not expecting any bull run, so you can afford everything that happens in the future.
Your portfolio may below $50 now, but you can accumulate other good coins when you have more money.
In this bearish market, it is a good chance to buy some good coins to hold.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Capitalization on: March 21, 2019, 07:16:25 AM
It is estimated that that the Cryptocurrency market capitalization went down to $200 billion from $800 billion that it was as at January 2018.
I believed it was due to the bearish market .
What I do not understand is while there is continuous growth of Cryptocurrency, people are picking interest and coming into the cryptosphere and yet the market capitalization is still not moving upwards.
What could be the challenge here?

There are many factors affecting the price of the cryptocurrency, that's why it is so volatile.
The market cap was going down because the correction of the last bull run.
But what you say about peoples are picking interest on crypto is true, then the bearish market won't be long.
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scams on: March 21, 2019, 05:34:51 AM
Is there a possibility of a scam if my tokens have no value for 2 months? I already have the tokens for 2.5 months and they keep telling us that listing is a laborious thing to do. Is that a normal thing to happen when your coin doesn't have any value for 2.5 months now?

2 months is not a long time. I see many altcoins and tokens that having no value in some exchanges.
That is because the ICO doesn't have any progress in their developments. Even if they plan to listing on other exchanges, the value won't going up because no one interest about the coin.
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICOs be regulated on: March 21, 2019, 05:16:29 AM
Considering the high level of scam associated with ICOs presently, many investors are at risk of loosing their investments. Bounty hunters like us are not spared as we may be rendering free services to some scammers and also risking our personal data.

I suppose a regulatory body be set up to audit the ICO process and the  founders, and if anything goes wrong or should the project fail, they will be liable. This will reduce drastically investors risk and also keep scammers away. What do you think?

First, we need to know what is the purpose of regulation in ICO.
If the purpose is to protect investors from scam projects ICO, then it should be regulated indeed.
But if regulation have no positive purposes, ICO should not be regulated.
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ICOs should be protected from dump on: March 21, 2019, 04:34:31 AM
Very good ICO will be survived, whether it protected or not. The dump may happening because some investors or hunters selling,
but another investors who interested about the project will buy the coin, so the dump won't be long and the value of the coin will recovering.
It will be different story if the ICO not good enough, the coin/token value must be protected to avoid dump.
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think ICO is a good way to raise money? on: March 21, 2019, 03:54:46 AM
Hello , What do you think about ICO as a way of raising money in the next years? .Specially after all the scam projects we have seen before, like last time  the team of a project called elementh(https://icobench.com/ico/elementh) claimed that they have to quit the project since they did not have enough resources eventhough they raised about 8M USD , and after ICO no single step forward the development of product has been achieved.
They wanna return the money to investors as btc and eth after all this bull market (btc was about 10K usd ).

ICO was a good way to collect funds from investors around the world, but it used by scammers to steal people's money.
So, the ICO won't become a good way to raise funds, unless they can prove that they are a real company, not fraudster.

572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money off cryptocurrency? on: March 17, 2019, 01:55:41 PM
I have been reading about exchanging sites. all of them have people who lost their money due to hacks, or investors got their accounts closed, frozen (Coindesk) without proper explanations, usually exchange sites let them deposit money, but they don't let them withdraw their money. No customer support.

How do you make money of cryptocurrency when the exchange sites are predators to hunt people's money? Decentralized trade sites maybe? If I read positive reviews about these centralized exchange sites , they doesn't seem genuine at all, most of the time, it looks like someone ordered them from Fiverr. Binance, Bitfinex with the Tether fiasco, Coinmama.... All of them looks like scummy attempt to get your money.

You are very skeptical about the exchanges. Well, they are dealing with people's money. The security of exchanges must be on the top priority.
Top exchanges like binance and bitfinex are trusted by many users, it means their exchange are more secure than others.
I am using binance to trading or liquid my coins, and there is no problem so far.
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Confidence in Cryptocurrency on: March 16, 2019, 03:18:11 PM
I have tried to ask myself this question many times: What can be done to restore and foster investors' confidence in cryptocurrency?
There have been several incidences, most especially as regards the issues of hack of exchanges and several other forms of stolen funds, which has in turn cause down trend at some points in the crypto space.
These incidences have made a lot of people to be at their wit ends, not knowing what to do.

If I should ask everyone what can be done to foster confidence, we will all have different things to say. Nonetheless, suggestions are welcome, but before that, I just feel that regulation is part of the main language that can restore.
Aside that, if exchanges have not started the process of insuring the funds on users on their platform, it will be good they start that.

To restore investors confidence and gain investor's trust, i think some ICO must show the proof that they are really give the profit for investors.
A successful ICO will become an example for this crypto world, so then the investors not afraid to participating.
Another thing about the security of the exchanges, it should be on the top priority because they dealing with people's money.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO New format scam on: March 16, 2019, 03:03:57 PM
Hai guys now days people are really  depressed this kind of new scam .They are Lost lot amount from this kind of format and getting only 40% return back.

1) ICO Stopped or Paused

2) Refund - When  eth more 200 to 300 USD people invested some ICO now they are stopped and started refund now Eth price 95 USD .

3) Some ICO announced Soft cap reached successfully later their also follow this kind of refund method .

ex:
Trecento , Humancoin ,Vanig and etc.

What ? 40% only for refund is not a good thing for the peoples who put their money in the project.
They must return at least above 90% of the raised funds so their investors not lose too much money.
point no 3 is worst. If the softcap reached, they should not cancel the project and refund the raised funds.
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) for your project! on: March 16, 2019, 02:55:03 PM
Binance and Bittrex are the only two exchanges with the IEO now (may be others are warning up). Twice Binance has succeeded with its launchpad but I think Bittrex has issues with its own - not sure if that has been resolved. So, OP how do you get (force) other exchanges to have IEO if they aren't planning on that?

There are lots of exchanges doing IEO's. But i also didn't convince the op's post. It may end up with a scam attempt.
Every exchange in list have a strong analize group, if project - SCAM exchange will refuse EIO. A lot of exchanges are very sensitive to their reputation.

This is maybe the reason why investors of icos prefer to participating in IEO than ICO, a legit project.
If the top exchanges have a strong analyze group, then they can conduct research about the project, and
the investors don't need to doing deep research. The exchange team do the due diligence instead investors.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in these altcoins? on: March 15, 2019, 04:05:24 AM
I have btc.  I want to get a few other coins.

1.  Waves-  I think this coin could hit very high.  I heard so many good things about it.  I have waves but not that much as i want.

Indeed, waves value was increasing in the last few months, it has a platform product that can be run from your phone.
Another good coin is Litecoin. If you see the coinmarketcap site, you will know LTC value keep rising and bring it to the higher position in the market.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less price = more profit? on: March 14, 2019, 02:49:32 AM
Friends, does it make sense to take very cheap altcoins <$ 1? I think about buying, but I am interested in your opinion. Will they leave the market and exchanges, with such a strong fall?

Well, it is not about the price of the coin. You should look at the total supply of the coin too.
Look at the top coin like Ripple, the price in the market is cheap, it is below $1, only about $0.3 / coin.
But it has a huge supply, so it makes Ripple have #3 position in the market because the marketcap.
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to recognize a good time to sell a coin? on: March 13, 2019, 04:41:22 AM
Hi all!
I and many of us here earned a lot coins form bounty campaigns. And I have real dilemma: How to recognize a good time to sell a coin? How to avoid loosing everything by holding coins that will die, but also how to choose coins that are good to hold because they can give us 10x,100x.
Thank you for your comments Wink.

There is no good time, it will be depends on your point of view.
Some peoples think the good time to sell is when the coin price is higher than the ICO sale price, like 2x from ico price.
But for other peoples, when its price gone above 10%, that is the good time to sell for them.
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Hard Cap on: March 13, 2019, 04:25:02 AM
Is it normal that an ICO has a Hard Cap of 72 million dollar? And as of now I cant find the total supply of the coin so that I can compute the total supply and the value per coin, and I guess they should also put the total supply in their site. What do you think?

I think it will be very hard to reach the hardcap in such amount, especially in this market which is still bearish.
$72 million is not a small amount, im afraid the project won't succeed raising the fund for their ICO.
I wonder if the project is real or not. If you can monitor the ETH raised in their address, then it will be good
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are other ways to earn? on: March 12, 2019, 02:32:40 AM
I'm actually new to this industry and i want to earn some money without putting some in the line(A.K.A investing) and i doubt myself that i could actually know how to manage my coins is there any way to earn money that would kick start me in this industry?

You cannot earn a good incomes without capital, at least you need some money to doing some business.
Buy a mining equipments like GPU or ASIC, and just mining cryptocurrency so you can produce a stable incomes.
Even doing bounty will cost money for hosting your website to create a good article and reach the readers.
