561  Economy / Goods / Re: Amazon.com goods for BTC on: July 10, 2012, 09:02:24 AM
I have added nifty little "indicator" to my OP in order to show customers how fast they will receive my reply, so:

When it's like this: it means I will answer in minutes:
Awake => will respond in minutes
it means I will answer in minutes.

On the other hand, when it's like this:
Sleeping => will respond first thing in the morning
it means I will answer as soon as I wake up.

It's nothing much, but at least no one will spend time biting nails, waiting for my reply in front of computer while I'm sleeping Cheesy

Now,  this "indicator" could be found in my signature, I think it will give you more info and that it will be more visible throughout this thread  Cheesy

563  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOWTO: create a 100% secure wallet on: July 10, 2012, 08:17:58 AM
It depends if you've encrypted the wallet or not. I would recommend you to use the encryption function that is present in the bitcoin client, and also back up the wallet.dat files after encrypting with a strong password to a pendrive.
If someone takes hold of your unencrypted wallet, they can do transactions with it, much like anyone losing their real wallet.

Thanks, I was going to ask this questions and I saw your answer Cheesy

I would buy bitcoins Cheesy
565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SETI and Bitcoin on: July 10, 2012, 07:59:06 AM
I don't think we can call them dumb or similar, they are just not informed about how bitcoin system works. Maybe they would call dumb our headbanging to the wall when we hear 10years of electricity, CPU and GPU for... Of course, we are more flexible and we don't think that way  Grin
566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is the "internet industry" opposed to bitcoin? on: July 10, 2012, 07:49:30 AM
People tend to be afraid of the things they don't know, they are afraid of competition. Just look at industrial revolution, workers attacked factories and destroyed machinery, but after certain period of time they accepted those changes. Currently, internet companies have some kind of monopoly, if something (bitcoin) enable more players (around the world) with better offer (lower price for the same item) to appear on the market, it's clear that many of "current internet people" will be upset.

568  Economy / Goods / Re: Amazon.com goods for BTC on: July 07, 2012, 05:26:01 PM
Those are the good news, I'm really happy you got your card earlier Cheesy

It a Amazon practice to sell something new as used, just because original packaging is damaged, so they switch the boxes, but merchandise is intact. I still don't like to sell used merchandise from Amazon because it's a risk and can cause conflict with the customers, but I'm happy this time everything went fine Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

P.S.
One thing I owe you more is a digital invoice, I will send it during the day to your e-mail address...

I just assumed that's how you'd made that much, as I take surveys for Amazon credit and I couldn't even make $5,000 in a decade or two at this rate.

You have to change something... There are many ways to earn money online and none of them is easy, but with good organizational skills and hard work you can make decent amount of money. Because you are telling me that you are doing surveys, I will just give you example what you should aspire to:

This hard working girl is a member of 1800 survey website's and that is a real way to make some money via surveys, but not easy at all.

Doesn't Amazon Associates require taxpayer identification number because it counts as income? How much does the government steal from it?

Looks like there was a quite of discussion in this thread while I was sleeping Cheesy It seems that hard working members of our community already answered your question... Since I'm not using Amazon Associates program, nor I'm the citizen of U.S., I can't really answer your question. You should start separate thread for this question or ask other community members who are involved in Amazon Associates Program, I'm sure they will find the way to help you find answer for your question.

Thanks Sadpandatech Cheesy

I will try to be as fast as possible. I had some problems with not receiving notifications from bitcointalk on my mobile, but I think it's solved.

Promotional week is over, until further notice price will be calculated like:

Pricebtc=(Amazon.com Price+Shipping)$/mtgoxbid

OP updated.
576  Economy / Goods / Re: Amazon.com goods for BTC - Promotional week: June 26 - July 3 -> 12,5% off on: July 02, 2012, 09:55:31 PM
Do we just send you a link to the item we want and you pm us with a price in BTC?
Then take our shipping details, etc?

Hello Sadpandatech,

Exactly, customer should send me a link, I will calculate how much it cost's in BTC and if the price is OK with a customer, we could arrange other details.
577  Economy / Goods / Re: Amazon.com goods for BTC - Promotional week: June 26 - July 3 -> 12,5% off on: July 02, 2012, 09:31:22 PM
19 hours before the end of promotion...
578  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Help build a better Bitcoin logo! on: July 02, 2012, 01:29:51 PM
I don't know, old logo is good enough for me, I guess it's already recognized very well. This reminds me of the Moneybookers changing it's name to Scrill and everybody still say Moneybookers. However, I understand urge to change and to be different, for the same reason I have created my personal logo which represent me on this forum.
579  Economy / Goods / Re: Amazon.com goods for BTC - Promotional week: June 26 - July 3 -> 12,5% off on: July 01, 2012, 08:32:16 PM
In order to achieve most secured and professional transaction I decided to sell only products labeled as "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com" and not to sell merchandise sold by 3rd party sellers on Amazon.com. OP updated.
580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reverse psycology ad? on: July 01, 2012, 02:22:26 PM
Best commercial ad for btc should just list what btc can offer,  I think BTC is quite unique and more powerful than competition.
