561  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: April 18, 2023, 06:29:58 PM

Achieving it is the main purpose why I am serious focused and one could only do it if he limits himself from all sort of unnecessary expenses and reduce some friendship just op said earlier and it could be hard while keeping lot of load around him why because it will contribute to much distraction without one remaining focused as he is. You have to smart and remain clever on how you uses your money.

If you focused yourself on such goal and not to allow your lust to overspend your money into something that will bypass your intention to save your money for your future goal owning a house.

It will help you to grow your savings and if you are also keen in finding ways or to explore for other potential
investment that will help to increase the amount of your savings, then maybe the chance to have or to own
a house and to prevent renting is achievable.

As a young striving man whom is putting every efforts to change his or her story, I don't think they should focused after lust because of their ambition. It's advisable to stay away from every unwanted relationship or friendship that would not yield any meaningful thing to their lives, and if a man is eager to make wealth they always utilizes every single opportunity that comes towards them. At this point he may decides to own a house or even freely pay his rents without much load or responsibility aside having a lover or living extravagant life.

And most of those who managed to succeed from this desire are those who choose their dreams first and not to follow the lust, as they understand that they needed to focus well in order to succeed.

You have to set your priorities if you don't want to waste your money in keep renting, better to save
and start looking for a good way to loan your own house and limit your expenses to pay it in whatever
deal you've got.
562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: April 18, 2023, 06:04:30 PM
The thing here is, if Fulton could destroy the career of Inoue, that would make him popular. Imagine if Inoue asks for a rematch in case he loses in his first attempt, and then Fulton beats him again, that would send Inoue back to bantamweight for sure, and his confidence will surely be affected.

So, this is a big fight for both fighters, especially for Fulton, because he is the underdog here, which means only a few believe he could win despite being the champion.

I'm pretty sure Inoue has completely trained intensively just for this fight because he knows from other fighters in the past how hard it is to fight when you first time increase your weight. Fulton on the other hand need to train some unique techniques to counter Inoue's speed and power because if he doesn't practice to dodge those deadly punch, he will more likely be knockout in the early rounds unless he can take the punch and we know that some fighters can really take punches from those we thought are powerful punchers, it happens a lot before especially in this weight division.
And his hand injuries could be the result of his hard training against Fulton. Although he could have that injury already, but might be aggravated in training and that's why he has to postponed the fight till June.

There is no report of surgery or operation though, so it might be that Inoue needs to take care of that hands and rest for a while so no training for him. As for the weight, yes, I do agree there not much issue he could even weigh less than the required limit of 122 lbs in this fight.

I also see that there's a possibility that it has been triggered by the hard training. This preparation is something that Inoue needs to do an extra effort since he will be facing a champion in a much heavier division.

Not that much, but it will be different from those he competes against with before he becomes a unified champ, let see what he will
bring to his fans when the fight takes place.
563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 18, 2023, 12:26:57 PM
Games later:

Hawks vs Boston Celtics (0-1)
Knicks vs Cavaliers (1-0)
Clippers vs Suns (1-0)

I'm keeping my options open for these games, but I would like to bet on teams that really need a win. The spread is high for the two teams that I'm planning to bet on, but I guess I'm confident to bet on them.

Therefore, my bet is on the Suns -7.5 and Cavaliers -5.5.

I like both of your picks. I think Suns and Cavs will try everything to even the series and if they play well that handicapped is possible to cover knowing the nature of both teams, they are good when they are in control of the game.

It will be more on Durant and Booker to really come out strong as they are facing another super team
who can really give them a hard time to beat.
564  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: April 17, 2023, 11:56:20 AM
A  side job/business of course it can support our finances, for example I do a side job by being a home marketing and when I'm lucky I can get a big income, even 3 months ago I can sell my house and get a commission equivalent to 2 years if I work in an office.

If you got this kind of break, then it will really bring a decent amount of profits, and from what I understand, 2 years of your monthly expected salaries, a very huge side job which if you manage to invest that money,

There's a big chance that it can grow more and will be a big saving for you. It's really good to have
a side income that will help you to finance other expenses.
565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 16, 2023, 05:59:52 PM
The game is very close though, if Wiggins just hit that corner 3, the complexion of the game could have been different as the Warriors will have the lead by that time. But let's give credit to the Kings, Monk and Fox combine for 71 big points for them. Monk started hot and then Fox takes over in the 3rd quarter and he is the one who get them into the game after trailing the Warriors. So this series is going to be tight, but the Warriors are still very much in the game, as you can see in the post game interview, Curry looks relax.
Yeah, but I like to see Steph Curry hitting that last shot. I don't doubt Wiggins but this is the 2nd crucial time where Curry didn't receive the ball for the last crucial shot. He did with the 2.9 seconds but that's not enough room for him to have a clear shot.
It's all good though, it's just the 1st game of the series. I bet the Warriors will be back stronger and would have some time to change their strategies as they now know how the Kings will attack.
Defend Monk, Fox, and Sabonis. That is all they have to be focused on.
Whoever is defending the rest of the Kings like Barnes and Lyles must be also aggressive at disabling them to score in any way possible. The deep roster of the Warriors today may have drowned Steve Kerr as I see him rotating his players without thinking ahead.

Fans will expect them to bounce back. We witness how they played the game and they really have all the opportunities, just not for them I guess, but for sure they will find the right adjustment in game 2.

It is a must to bring a tighter defense with Sacramento's main core starters, a good stop will help them
to win, today we all see how good the productions of Sac' and it should analyze by the coaching personnel
to limit them to their next game.
566  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too late to start? on: April 16, 2023, 05:38:15 PM
No, it is not too late to start investing in cryptocurrencies. In fact, many people continue to invest their money in cryptocurrencies and make a profit from it. Of course, as with any investment, there are risks, but if you research the market and understand it, you can find many promising opportunities. All in all, investing in cryptocurrencies can be an interesting and rewarding experience, but requires caution and discipline.
As long as you are seeing cryptocurrencies still in good profits, then investing in it is never too late or too early. So investing at the moment will still make a perfect entry to the market. But if you keep on refusing to invest and wait for the perfect time to invest, probably you will end up missing opportunities and eventually lose all your expected profits. So never stay in doubt, start taking some risks so you will experience life changing profits.
Start taking the risk after doing your DYOR and stop to keep doubting as the opportunity to place your good entry might be a missed for you, better to take your chance and see the outcome.

If you failed, then find ways to improved learn from that mistake and go deeper to fully understand the full
concept, from that point, you'll be able to assess and the chance to succeed is always open.

568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 15, 2023, 10:11:13 AM
.....and we still do not know how Inoue will do on his current division as he is yet to fight Fulton.

We will see, but the hype is very high for Inoue dominating the current division. Hopefully, we will not be disappointed in his coming performance. A dominant boxer would always bring joy to the fans, especially if that boxer is not afraid of taking on challengers, just like what Manny did. Maybe we will see someone like him in the future, or maybe it will be Inoue.

In my opinion, I'm seeing that Inoue's camp is trying to achieve what Manny had accomplished, or they wanted to have more to be one of the best fighter in his era.

Yeah, fans will love a kind of fighter who is not afraid of taking any difficult challenges and with how
Inoue showing his aggressions to continue his journey to another level of competitions for sure he will
be praised and continue to be loved while still fighting.

And I think fans would love to see someone actually trying to surpass Manny, records are meant to be broken, sometimes records can last for decades without anyone being able to break them, and sometimes we see the opposite in which records which people thought were going to remain for a long time are broken by the next generation relatively quickly, will Inoue be able to be as dominant at different divisions as Manny was? I do not know but I am ready to see him trying to do it.

Agree to that, fans will follow him (Inoue) in his journey to surpass what Manny achieved, it's not easy as we all know that in each division there are champs who really fight well defending their belts.

It will be interesting if Inoue will able to take it one by one, he's still young and his built and
fighting capability is really strong. Let's see if how far he and his camp will try to take from
each division that he can move up.
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 15, 2023, 09:35:40 AM
How about Rudy Gobert bouncing back from one game suspension with a double double of 21 points and 10 rebounds. He has this highlight behind the back dribble for a layup? However, SGA is on the receiving end as his eye was swollen when Rudy unintentionally elbow him.

What a great connection with him Anderson and KAT. If they can use that tower alongside with Conley and Edwards, they just need to work with defensive strategy to compete well with the Nuggets.

Quote
Match up between Gobert  and Jokic? Jokic is going to eat up Gobert and I don't think that he can outsmart Jokic.

Much better if KAT will take this not Gobert, as he can move quicker, but I still go with Jokic as he can just smoothly work his way to score or to create good assist to his teammates.

Quote
But for sure, the series will be fun to watch. But I'm seeing Nuggets winning in 5.

I hope it won't be a sweep as Nuggets has that capability to finish this series quicker.
570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 15, 2023, 02:29:17 AM
As boxing fans and bettors, we have no choice but to wait for that moment when we can witness a unification fight. While this won't be Donaire's first time in a championship fight, we want to see him become a unified champion since Inoue is no longer in this division.

Therefore, I hope the promoters don't play games and give Donaire what he deserves, which is a big fight. His time in boxing is limited, and he deserves a chance to achieve his goals before he retires.

That's good and there will be no other good thing to have when they retired than unifying all the best in their current weight division. since Donaire still has the power and speed because he is still getting intense training, he can go and take this chance before he finally put down his gloves but before that, he should put a lot of effort to win his next fight first and think about that after he wins it. He needs to focus on this one and get into the right shape to unify all the belts and become one of the legends in this sport.
Sounds simple but this would be tough and its true that he might considering on hanging up his gloves on the time he would unify all the belts of this current division that he belongs in.If he do decide to retire after

on achieving this record then it wouldn't really be that a bad exit imho.If ever he would lose this one (unlikely) then it wont really be still that bad to continue out and chase up some another fight.

It is really just that not really good looking if you do hang up your gloves or retire on a loss. Well, its just my own perception if ever im a boxer but it not
really that appealing at all on that certain state.

Do you think the promotopres will give Nonito that opportunity? As I have seen, they launched the fight with Santiago and that because the other backed down, so here things begin to measure it in the way they always do, how much money will this leave them? If it is worth starting this fight, then if they want to fight for unification, taking advantage of the fact that Inoue no longer has this weight or this category, it would be like giving him a golden opportunity for Nonito, which does not seem bad to me, because he is a very good boxer and has always been very outstanding regardless of his age.

I also see the same, the money that may be gained is what the promoters are analysing up to know, if there's still fans that will buy tickets and all those sponsors to add up with the generated revenue.

if there's still good amount then we might see updates regarding to this fight, it's more on how all will be
compensated and not just because of the fame and pride that fighters will earn after the fight.
571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 15, 2023, 01:57:35 AM

That's going to be a hell of a rotation for them but we all know that these stars always get to contribute and know their job while inside the team. There are those that are designated for scoring, defense, and also for ball rotation. Well, they've been in a bad season and now they're doing great on this season, and with all of these set of rosters that they have, they've got confidence. While as for the Kings, they may take time and hard time to adjust since it's like the first time for most of their players but I won't be belittling them.

Good thing with the Warriors is they know where they will position themselves when inside the court. I mean, like what you mentioned, they know who's the gunner, the protector, and the rebounder.

They play as one with one direction and with one intention to win the game. It's a difficult position with the Kings but they
already proven from the regular season that they can beat good teams. They just need to work with more trust with the
whole organization. They might be playing against the defending champ, but they've got each other's back. That's what is
important for now, trust the process and play their best.
572  Economy / Economics / Re: Is taking a loan/debt addicted ? on: April 14, 2023, 03:42:14 PM
Personally, I will set aside income to pay off the debt even though it is not paid off directly I will repay it even though this takes a while, if we do not get out of the vicious circle, the debt that we have is not decreasing, but increasing

Indeed, if we will not take care of that debt, it will keep increasing as there's interest and without proper planning before you take that debt, you will end up loaning more to the point that you cannot pay it anymore.

You have to allocate portions of your salary to pay little by little to avoid loaning more to cover your first loan it
will not help but will be an additional problem when the loan generates corresponding interest.

Hope is essential for survival.  It can never be a poison because it gives strength to people.  Even in gambling hope can help our hit your goal.  As long as we know when to stop, when to return and play again.  Hope injected with discipline is the way to go in order to make it not a poison, IMHO.
If we don't have any hope of winning we won't gamble more because why would anyone be interested in losing all the money? So yes gambling with hope is essential which keep us going but not too much attached to it that it start hurting us bad whenever we loose. So have a positive mindset towards gambling with self control on your budget.

We need that positive mindset. I got you with your opinion that no one wants to keep losing. Gamblers are playing not just because of fun, but also the hope that they will win.

Just be careful with wrong perceptions with your gambling participation most of those who got attached
too much, ending up addicted and ruined their finances.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is ever the right time. on: April 14, 2023, 08:52:51 AM
I think 2023 is the right time for you to buy altcoins, because the price of altcoins this time is really very cheap,
remember this is still in a bear market, meaning altcoins will go down and down again,
but that's our chance to buy it and you can hold until the time comes, I predict 2024 will be a good year.
This year will end and it will just pass again just like the old years. Like you're saying that this is the right time to buy altcoins, buy.

But that doesn't mean that you can choose everything that you may want. Many are cheap because of the bear market.

There are those top altcoins that's proven to be good to be an option whether they're not really "cheap" in terms of pricing.

There are those top alts which are not that cheap but good enough to take when you are aiming for long-term investment, project that can give you decent profits if the timing of your buy and hold is great.

You always need to make sure that you are not going to rush things out, do your research and make sure to assess
if what project you can buy to use for your investment.
575  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: April 14, 2023, 05:12:37 AM
Bank is always on the upper side. They will allow the loan if they see that there's a good way of paying them. I mean, they will check your capabilities before they will allow the loan.

There's a process where you needed to provide all the details and you need to submit backup documents to assure
the bank that you are capable of and you have the asset to return the money or pay your loan, whatever the circumstances.
Submitting a bank loan proposal is very easy if you have collateral that can meet the loan requirements, the bank will accumulate the value of the collateral and the bank will determine the maximum loan limit that the bank will offer to customers, I have checked the bank's interest payments are very high and do not recommend that you apply for a loan bank, if you apply for a low loan it is better to save than paying off the loan every month, if the need is urgent then there are loan options to friends but you have to pay off the loan on time.
Would like to tell that bank interest isnt really that much high if you do compared it into those lending firms and financing companies out there.Nothing beats out bank when it comes to less interest.
It is really just that it is really that hard for you to get up some loan due to strict requirements and lots of paperworks which should need to be done which is something that most people doesnt
like and ending up on going into other options. This is why they do make themselves get buried with high interest rates just because they've been declined whenever they do
apply out for some loan in the banks but as much as possible its better not to take up some loan or borrow at all.

Yeah right, taking a loan with the bank is far lesser compared to other platforms/services. If you can submit verified supporting documents, then you are good to go.

Bank just need to verify your documents and if they find it good, then you'll get the amount that you
are loaning, but like what you said, better not to take it if you have other options / alternatives.

Among the other coaches who received votes, sources said: Milwaukee's Mike Budenholzer, Oklahoma City's Mark Daigneault, Boston's Joe Mazzulla and New York's Tom Thibodeau. Each coach votes for one winner and can't vote for himself.
But I do see some media revealing their votes and most of it are for Coach Brown. He will win this one, without a doubt. He made the Kings better, 2006 was their last playoff appearance and now they made it again. A sensational coaching job, thanks to Mike Brown, even I was dragged by the Kings hype.

That was based on how the Kings had performed, coming from a team that has been struggling, and this season they finished number 3 in the West. It's a huge achievement for Coach Mike Brown, who's no stranger to successful coaching, but he deserves the reward. Now, in the playoffs, I think it will be a bigger challenge for him and the team. Even if they exit, they've already had a commendable season and will come back stronger next season.

Yep, based on how he leads the performance of the entire team, with him as the orchestrator of the plays he really did well mentoring the players, I like how they execute all those plays and how the chemistries build up.

It's the good relationship between players and the coaching people that really gives them the recognition
now, finishing 3rd and securing the first-round playoff position, a good achievement for coach Brown.
577  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: April 13, 2023, 08:04:48 PM
Borrowing money is one of the crucial things, in the end people's interpretations of debt are different, borrowing money will feel like a vicious circle if it's not taken into account, but borrowing money in a planned way can be a very good investment for some people.
To avoid this vicious circle, we must calculate and plan loans and how we repay these loans
Maybe what you say is true. because we can also see that many large companies actually rely on loans to banks in developing their business. but of course with careful planning. and maybe that's fine. but for anyone who makes a loan without careful planning without even taking into account the level of ability to pay, borrowing must be avoided. because it is indeed at risk of making someone prone to being trapped in a vicious circle that makes them addicted. but those who borrow with careful calculations and planning like a company that also does it are indeed understandable. but I personally prefer to develop a business without making a loan because it's less risky.

A big organization or company borrowing is not an issue though because as long as they are making huge profit, they can be able to repay their loan back in a short while. Mind you before a bank gives out loan to a business firm, they must have seen your business proposal or blue print so as to ascertain the figure contained in your proposal and the value of the project if all blend together but the major thing bank will emphasize on is your profit revenue if you can be able to meet up with the repayment of the loan when given to you.

The careful planing you talk about is all entailed in your business proposal because when the bank goes through your proposal, there they would see how you would run your business and repayment plan as you outlined the whole process in your proposal.

Bank is always on the upper side. They will allow the loan if they see that there's a good way of paying them. I mean, they will check your capabilities before they will allow the loan.

There's a process where you needed to provide all the details and you need to submit backup documents to assure

578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: April 13, 2023, 10:51:16 AM
Better to face Inoue and let the fans to decide who's better between them instead of taking those criticisms about ducking the unifying champ from his previous weight division.
The decision to face Inoue was not an easy one for Fulton, even if he believes he can beat him the chances are not low for Inoue to beat him as well, so he could have easily avoid him if he wanted as he had already expressed the desire to move up a division, and even if some fans criticized him he could always defend himself using this reason, fortunately for us Fulton decided to take the challenge and even decided to wait for Inoue to get healthy after the injury he suffered.

This is correct. There are boxers who want to build a legacy and gather more achievements by doing a strategy that they think, will have a better shot. It's just that Stephen Fulton is not like that and instead of moving-up weight, which is his main plan from the start even prior to Inoue moving up, he accepts the challenge of defending his title against the Japanese monster.

Because if Stephen Fulton really wants to stay at 122, he can challenge Murodjon Akhmadaliev for a unification fight. Just an update though that Murodjon Akhmadaliev is now out of the champions at the 122 as Marlon Tapales upsets him recently.

Which was his decision to stay something that will really bring a good legacy on him if he manage to defend his title and beat the Japanese sensation, a fighter legacy also a good factor for those fighters.

and if we look on the positive side, if Fulton disappoints his challenger might be possible to earn more money fight
and maybe he will unify all the belts before moving up.

Tomorrow we have Bulls vs Raptors and Thunder vs Pelicans. Will we see an upset again?

Yes, we did see an upset as the Bulls had a strong comeback in the second half to beat the Raptors. The chants of the crowd did not help the Raptors to win, as the Bulls were so focused on winning the game. Everyone on the Bulls played well, and their starters did a great job. I believe Pat Beverly was a big addition to the team, as his defense and hustle were very evident.

Final score 109-105

LaVine - 39 points
DeRozan - 23 points

An effort that brings them the win, I was in the impression that the home team will not let the fans down and they will protect the home-court advantage, but Bulls is very determined to win.

Congrats to all who bet for the Bulls as they completed upsetting the home team they will be playing against
the Heat and will try to continue their journey to keep the final spot for the next round.
