561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is unique to man. on: October 23, 2020, 10:45:27 AM
Bitcoin is unique because of its advantage as a first decentralized currency, there are many digital and decentralized currencies that has more benefits and advantages than bitcoin. I think In the near future may see some currencies that will out place bitcoin.

You could continue to think like that.

It is true that there are a lot of other cryptocurrencies out there but I don't think that they would be able to "out place" Bitcoin. Bitcoin's price might go down, but I don't think that people would just let that slip by. They would take that as an opportunity, as a chance to buy again or reinvest because a lot of people are believing to it.
562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thinking Bitcoin is Scam on: October 23, 2020, 10:01:52 AM
As we know as a crypto Community most of people's think that a Bitcoin (any crypto currency) is illegal and scam. But Now Paypal officially integrated inbuilt features to buy/sell Bitcoin , Etherium , USDT and etc. So It is a great slap to the mostly people who think Crypto is illegal. Now they understand the power of crpyto in upcoming less than 2 years and it will change whole market , the early adopters will take great benefit.

I don't think that is quite accurate.

It is true though that there are a lot of people thinking that Bitcoin is illegal or a scam but I think there are still more people that are afraid of scared of the volatility of Bitcoin. They know that it is a cryptocurrency they could invest into but they are quite afraid that they might just lose because of how the price changes in a short period of time.
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops Confusion on: October 23, 2020, 09:46:40 AM
Airdrop nowadays have changed their requirements. But before, like in 2017, most airdrops will just ask your eth address or coin address to receive their coins without doing anything. But now, most of them will require you to tweet or like their social media channels to be eligible for airdrop. And the problem these days, is that when you finally receive those supposedly free coins, they are not worth sending to the exchange as you may incur higher tx fee than its actual value. So basically, you just wasted effort.

That is why I am also quite confused by these two.

As you've said, in the past you will just fill up a google sheet and after that, you will just need to wait before it was sent, then it happened that an airdrop needed you to share on social media and other stuff too which makes me think that it is quite of a bounty rather than an airdrop. Still, they have their own definition of airdrop, as long as people are recieving it for free, it is an airdrop then there's those managers that ask for gas fees  Grin
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Portfolio before and after the pandemic on: October 23, 2020, 09:19:40 AM
I think Pandemic did not affect the Crypto market so much as it has affected the other fiat markets. The Crypto market is now in a very strong position and the investors are investing with great trust and passion in the market after the pandemic.

That is true though.

But the thing is that the cryptocurrency market is not that affected by the price, there is some coincidence that it fell during the pandemic but let's not forget that the price also pumped. The thing is that the affected here are the investors themselves, the price might be good but there are times that we can't actually hold but just sell them since we needed cash.
565  Economy / Economics / Re: I tried money making apps! on: October 23, 2020, 08:57:54 AM
I made some money online when I was a kid. It was kind of fun, but it takes a lot of time for vers vers little money. I should have valued my time more and tried to do something more valuable (learning new skills) or even try to build a website instead of being a "customer"

That is life bro.

We can't take that back, we have a lot of regrets but that doesn't matter anymore. What matters right now is that we now know what should be done and we should learn from those mistakes. We can't do that in the past but let's do that right now, it is not too late. We can just earn more right now to take back what we've lost.
566  Economy / Economics / Re: "Humans will not be replaced by robots very soon" --- yeah right !!! on: October 23, 2020, 05:27:12 AM
I am not afraid of robots replacing humans. The problem is how the people with technology will treat the lower levels of society

Most of them would be replaced by an AI and would find another job, that's pretty much it.

Most of this automation would happen in manufacturing/factories were usually poor people are working. It is obvious that they will be finding new jobs or maybe start one if they can provide for themselves or for their family. I don't think these people would interfere with those people who fired them.
567  Economy / Speculation / Re: history loves repeating itself. the only question is when! on: October 23, 2020, 03:53:09 AM
In the current situation, I don't think the price of Bitcoin will increase or decrease at once.  The price of Bitcoin will continue to fluctuate in an equilibrium.  Again I think it takes a little more time for the price to rise very quickly again.

I do expect that a bull run is around to come at anytime soon. The season is getting turned on because of the end of the year. Volatility is the next to follow just as it happened in 2017. This year may not have been uptrend from beginning but it seem it has taken another turn.

I think the price is doing well.

I don't wait for the bull to come, as long as the price is making great changes, that is fine by me. It is been like this for a while now and I think this would continue for a period of time so as long as we are still here, people should not wait for a better price, do what you can do to take this opportunity because we never know what will happen in the future.
568  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price has surpassed $12k!!! on: October 23, 2020, 02:56:20 AM
It is still going strong.

The time that we hit $11K, we can't climb at $12K and we just keep on slipping back to $10K and $11K. Right now, we didn't just break the resistance to $12K but we also went up to $13K and still sitting there proving that it might stick at that price for some time.
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Normal Game Setup - a success or a failure? on: October 23, 2020, 02:30:38 AM
For me, it is a success.

It is not that easy to manage a lot of people, millionaires, to start with, putting in a place and behave there as they should be. A lot of things happened but it went well in the end. They adjusted so well, they did so well in maintaining these people, following the protocol and such. It won't end that easy but I hope it ends this year.
570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling thoughts. on: October 23, 2020, 01:47:23 AM
control. Do not make the gambling controls you, make it
1. Which one do you prefer, Casino gambling or online gambling?

I prefer online gambling now because of the pandemic and because of the efficiency it can give to me.

control. Do not make the gambling controls you, make it
2. How much money are you willing to spend on gambling?

Not that much because I am not an addict to start with.

I can spare some time on gambling but at that length, I also wanted to avoid spending too much money since I could use that to provide for my family as this pandemic is really giving us a hard time.

control. Do not make the gambling controls you, make it
3. How do you manage your lose streak or win streak?

I don't mind losing since I expected that before I put my money in that game.

Winning is quite hard since you are being provoked on betting more but I just keep on thinking what could I do or provide with that money to my family and I could also help some people too.

control. Do not make the gambling controls you, make it
4. If you will have $1000, what game () you are going to play?

Game of investing and saving maybe.

control. Do not make the gambling controls you, make it
5. What is the best advice that you can give to a gambler?

Maintain your composure, you need look on your goal and please don't make winning a lot of money in gambling a goal as it will give you a path to a worst future you will ever imagine. Control yourself.
571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Darkside Hackers donating Bitcoins on: October 22, 2020, 09:59:31 AM
These charities will get into hell lotsa trouble in case they accept donations from these hackers. Iff the hackers wanted to donate they could have just handed over cash anonymously. Why the drama?Huh?

It is not their fault though.

They needed the money and they are just added in the expression since the hackers donated to their charity. I think it is safe to say that they will not be accepting or using that donated Bitcoins and might just give it to the police. Is this the hacker's plan or just their doing to say that they are good and they are the robinhood of this worst year?
572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: October 21, 2020, 02:43:31 AM
It seems that in various countries there must be education or seminars about bitcoin so that they know how it works. But if it's still a little bit there and we find it difficult to find, I think there must be a video on YouTube explaining how to transfer bitcoins and where to buy bitcoins.

There are some countries that legalized Bitcoin but people are not actually aware of it.

The worst part is that, when they actually introduced to Bitcoin, which they heard on the radio or watched on a Television or a YouTube video, it is related to a scam that happened. They are left with the impression that it is a scam and actually not a digital currency that they could use or invest in. Some actually googled it but some don't have the time with it. They heard it, they've watched it as a scam, they stick with it.
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Portfolio before and after the pandemic on: October 21, 2020, 12:53:42 AM
TBH, it is pretty bad.

Since the pandemic, I needed to use some of them since I can't rely on my salary. It is not enough and I've been limited to do things since it is a pandemic. I am selling other cryptocurrencies too and that also includes Bitcoin. We have no choice, we needed it and the best thing we could do now is keep on surviving, it will come back eventually.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greedy crypto developers on: October 17, 2020, 02:31:11 AM
This is the reason there are a lot of new projects out there.

There are a lot of greedy crypto developers out there, making these projects for these investors to bite them and then just live them there hanging without making any developments and let it die and worst, scam these investors. This is the reason why a lot of investors stopped and just focus on cryptocurrencies that could give them future profits.
575  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Holding in Companies on: October 17, 2020, 12:46:21 AM
Never thought that companies actually hold Bitcoin.

This could mean good and bad news. Good news because as I said, I never thought that they do that. Bitcoins have been labeled as a scam by a lot of people and I think that people might've ended up just holding them, not a company. Still, since thats a thing, others might do the same. The bad news though is that since companies are holding them, if they will be dumping those, that could end up a big dump. For sure it would just go back up but still..
576  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: October 16, 2020, 10:36:42 AM
Banks is part of our life. Even bitcoin user needs bank accounts to transfer their money to bitcoin. Banks help a lot of people and businesses when they need financial help. We can't say that we can live without banks because some people and businesses depend on their services and help.

I think this depends.

Here in our country, we have this local exchange and we can just send money through a remittance center or a local store to our exchange account and convert that to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. It is possible to live without banks, but that doesn't mean that we will be depending on Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. I know a lot of people, well not that rich people, that has no problem living without banks.
577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 15, 2020, 12:02:20 PM
Buck have already offered Giannis a maximum salary, but not sure if he can get good role players than the current teammates, I guess the problem of Bucks is the coaching.

That's the problem with Bucks. They all did was to offer him a max salary.

If Giannis wants to make money, I'm sure he will stick to the team. But if some team can match the salary while at the same time, he will have good teammates on the transferred team, I'm sure he won't hesitate to accept it.

Giannis wants to fully use his prime and the championship should be achieved as early as possible.
If a team wants to get Giannis, they'll attach him with good supporting players and they have to buy out the contract of Giannis.

There might be teams that want to take him to their teams and would be willing to buy out his contract from Bucks but, it's also up to him.

I've been scrolling in Facebook today and I've seen this post about Giannis.

It is said to be a rumour about Giannis that might sign to Miami Heat. It is been a talk in the past here in the forum and after the playoffs, when Miami eliminated Bucks, he said that he will be staying. But then again, this rumour is alive again. I don't want this to happen and what I don't like more is that they are comparing him to KD, KD taking the heat while AD is safe? What are take on this?
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: October 15, 2020, 09:57:59 AM
Your friend is not curse rather he is only dreaming to be mega rich over night. It's very difficult to break away from gambling addiction. The only way the addiction could ever stop, is by taking him far away from the gambling center, where he won't be able to gamble again. Apart from that, he won't be able to stop gambling.
It's a pity he falls so deeply for gambling. Whenever finds no money to gamble, he'll be selling out his property gradually, so as to be able to gamble more and more

This is a true sequence when someone is already addicted to gambling. I know someone that already been addicted, and he is now selling his properties to sustain his gambling habit daily. All of his properties are already sold, and only his house is not sold yet. If you know someone or you have a friend that already addicted to gambling try to rehab them. I think there is a rehabilitation center for addiction to gambling.

People might not believe it but it is true.

Some people think that it is just a thing that we would say or they would read but it is true that people can actually go in these lengths just to gamble or just to bet. My friend's cousin is actually selling his house because of the debts that he has losing on betting. He's not that rich but his house could be labeled as something a rich man could live.
579  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When You trade Do You use VPN? on: October 15, 2020, 08:30:09 AM
I don't use any VPN.

It is a warning of someone I know since in the past, there are a lot of people complaining about some exchanges freezing their account or asking for any confirmation or verification from them. I don't have a lot of cryptocurrencies to trade but for someone that have a lot of funds in some platforms, that would be really problematic.
580  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your strategy in taking profit on: October 15, 2020, 06:53:00 AM
buy low and sell high is one of my best strategies. but I prefer to use technical analysis for it.i also use proper stop loss at my trade, because without stop loss a coin can dump a lot and i may lost all of my capital or stuck at one coin. also it is very important to do fundamental analysis before taking any trade. I also follow some top trader at tradingview and take knowledge from there chart. in this way I tried to stay risk free at my trade or i take very low risk at per trader.

That's also the point if you do not see always your buy and sell thats the reason you will loss some money. If the price of coins keep dump and you have a order of buying in a mid price of the token it is not worth it.

Though it is not that easy.

You might be able to see some indicators that it will go down or go up but you don't can't actually tell that it will be going in that lane. That is why as long as you've seen a price so low, better take that opportunity to invest or reinvest and hold for a longer period of time since that would be better than always looking at the price chart.
