561  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC tested 10K Support. and got bounced . on: January 24, 2018, 12:31:32 PM
That bounce wasn't that much convincing to be honest.
Expect more down pressure!
And 8k can easily happen. Therefore I have hard times to understand your optimism here.
Sure if you're in for the long hold, the actual situtation shouldn't matter much to you. But I see absolutely no signs why we should move up again soon.
Wouldn't be surprised to see a several months sideways movement and lots of impatient people selling their BTC while some altcoins may offer you some nice returns.
Will be very interesting to see how market reacts if Bitcoin should indeed take some longer timeout in terms of upwards price movements.
I also expect btc to go down more but I think it won't reach as low as 8000$ yet. I only see Bitcoin touching that price when it has suddenly become bullish again and go up to unreasonable prices. After going up to unreasonable price range, Bitcoin price will crash back to your speculated price or lower. I only see btc reaching 8000$ through this scenario unless there will be more bad news that will contribute to the bearish trend.
562  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now is the best time to invest in bitcoin, says digital currency hedge-fund mana on: January 24, 2018, 11:46:36 AM
You ruined it with "hedge fund manager" - no way am I going to listen to one of those about bitcoin.
Yeah because all they think about is how to gain profit for themselves and those hedge fund managers are expert at using others in order to gain a hefty sum of money for their own good. Still, they made the right call when they say that it is one of the best time to invest in crypto because I believe it will reach 35000$-40000$ before the bubble pops and see price plunge down.
563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When to sell Bitcoin to get as many ETH or XMR as possible on: January 24, 2018, 11:00:32 AM
Hi There,

Is there a way to know/monitor on when to sell Bitcoins to get as many ETH or XMR as possible?

Thanks
You can sell your bitcoin to get ETH and XMR now but if you wanted to sell bitcoins for eth and XMR, wait for this two coins to dump and have cheaper btc buy and sell rate. Don't buy when both of these coins when they gained value. You can monitor for the right time by using as that monitor price movements of crypto like coinmarketcap or blockfolio. Choose the one that is more comfy for you to use.
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin became more popular in 2017 on: January 24, 2018, 10:07:24 AM
Yes, indeed the one who enjoyed this hype more are the early investors and whales, they are the one who reaped the success of Bitcoin, the only one we fear right now is the constant price crash so many bad news coming up lately  and it really harmed bitcoin reputation
It is normal that the constant stream of FUDs comes out there to harm bitcoin reputation to bring price down after all whales that tries to manipulate bitcoin price only wants it's price down for them to rebuy at a cheaper price.  Bad news concerning ban of bitcoin on some countries are just normal right now even if it is real or not because some countries cannot regulate it and FUDers use this fact to create rumors too.
565  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best Country for Bitcoin use? on: January 23, 2018, 12:47:51 PM
Cool  Cool  Cool In what countries is it easy to find retailers and other service providers that are set up to receive Bitcoin for payment?
United States of America (USA) is the est country in terms of Bitcoin spending because it is the one with the most number of service providers and stores that receive Bitcoin as payment. Next to it is Japan which only legalized Bitcoin just recently. After legalization of btc there, store Nationwide started to accept Bitcoin as payment for services and goods although they are not that many when compared to stores accepting credit card payments.
566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea Bans Virtual Accounts Starting With 30 January 2018 on: January 23, 2018, 12:06:09 PM
It will/is crashing the market, just like the rest of the FUD coming out of these third world dumps.
It won't since they haven't banned crypto itself but they will only ban trader's virtual accounts made in banks if they don't surrender their anonymity. It will prevent them from having a username and a fake name and will expose their identities. It will not be bad for most of them though, and most of  those who don't want their identities exposed does not have enough holdings in crypto to cause market crash. There will only be a slight decrease in bitcoin's price after this even if many FUDs are due to come out.
567  Economy / Economics / Re: India's Banks shut down Cyptocurrency trading accounts on: January 23, 2018, 10:53:01 AM
This looks like a step backward. India need all the money it can get. The earnings of those traders enter the economy as disposable income, they gain more buying power. Despite India's world ranking a large part of the population is still poor and they can benefit from this. The government could have earned more if they require customer information to given to them so they can tax it. Another thing they could have done is to encourage the creation of more local exchanges that would operate internationally but ban their citizens from using international exchanges. That way they have money mostly coming in.
Maybe Indian government sees it as them losing control over citizens because they can't tax those transactions completely since not all people will comply to submit customer information for them to get taxed. I also doubt that Indians would use regularly their national exchange if they ever did that because most people get irritated with regulations. For this reason they don't see it as a step backwards but a step forward to maintaining government control over citizens.
568  Economy / Economics / Re: effect of Visa locks on bitcoin on: January 22, 2018, 12:37:53 PM
Well it's time for Bitpay and others to create a way to use cryptocurrency without touching the Visa network. Hopefully this should spur innovation.
This is not a new thing already since there are existing services and projects dedicated to create a way to use cryptocurrency without touching the Visa network.  The only problem is that they are not being used that much because of few sites using their services to accommodate crypto users. In fact, all coins in the market can be used to transactions without touching Visa network but only a few shops accept them as payment for transactions.
569  Economy / Economics / Re: The markets are finaly stabilizing. on: January 22, 2018, 11:42:14 AM
and now 22 jan back with a fairly high miner fee. I think for a while the bitcoin fee and the price of the bitcoin itself are not significantly up or down.
the total volume trade in of the market exchange I agree its more stable for now.  but about mining of this coin its not stable yet i think . its not significant go to up or down .
So long as the transaction volume Bitcoin can handle remains the same, Bitcoin won't stabilize and will continue to be unstable to use and to mine. It needs to scale in order to accommodate more investors coming and investing into bitcoin and to handle their transactions properly. Volume of trade in the market exchange haven't stabilized too but like you said it is more stable now.
570  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the Wall Street fat boys kill Bitcoin profits? on: January 22, 2018, 10:54:57 AM
I have read some posts and comments by senior members related on how the futures on Bitcoin are controlling the whole crypto-currencies market. Do you understand the effects? What your view?
Futures somehow contributed to the reason why bitcoim had a dip recently but those senior members are wrong when they said that it controls the whole cryptocurrency market. No one can gain total control ever crypto, even fat boys from wall street or even bill gates can't no matter how much money they spend. If they really did spend money in order to do that, crypto will only be controlled temporarily.
571  Economy / Economics / Re: China and Bitcoin Mining on: January 22, 2018, 10:01:01 AM
Buy BTC because you trust/believe in it, not because you want to make a quick buck.
The governments are basically bought out by banking cartels, and they will never allow Crypto unless it is their own and which they can control. It is about control, power is secondary and it comes as a benefit. Invest wisely and what you can afford to loose.
Probably buying at any point just because of own belief and trust in btc ain't enough to maximize profit. One of the good ways to do it is to buy after dump occurs in order to have cheaper Bitcoins. As far as I know, governments on some countries allow crypto as is like Japan so why have the thought of banking cartels controlling them? Those countries who banned it just want total control over their citizen's assets.
572  Other / Meta / Re: What is negative trust? on: January 21, 2018, 12:39:18 PM
What should't I do to avoid getting red trust?
You should just always follow the rules to avoid getting red trust. Never scam other people and first and foremost never ever cheat on a signature campaign or any other bounty campaigns and never try to spam around the forum. It will be just like behaving like what normal user here does. You should also avoid talking non sense and try to avoid trash talking other members because it might earn you red trust at some point.
573  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Eth address on: January 21, 2018, 10:32:45 AM
Coins.ph is an exchange and not a wallet. The best option would be to use a desktop wallet where you control your private-keys (such as Electrum).
You are right but as per experience it is better to store in coins.ph when the amount of bitcoin one will hold is not that big and most bounties does not give that much of a bitcoin. Instead of using desktop wallet, it is better to use hardware wallets like ledger nano s or trezor in place of a desktop wallet for more security when OP is planning on holding onto the bitcoins he get from bounty long term.
574  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: from jr member to a member.. on: January 21, 2018, 09:44:12 AM
after a long time and much activity here in the community, I have finally got my new rank promotion from a jr member to a member. but I need to know if there any advantages that I will have from being a member after being a jr member?
or it is the same as before, and I will not get any new advantages or features?
please give a hand here.
thanks a lot.
As far as I know the only difference is that when a jr member ranks up to member, he/she can equip a longer character signature. If you want to know more, you might want to refer to this thread from meta that explains everything about ranking up. You might want to know other things regarding the ranking statement too so here is the link : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0
575  Other / Meta / Re: how many post I make each day? on: January 21, 2018, 04:20:09 AM
hlw guys,
I am new in this community.
I was joined this community in December 2017
but 1 made few post in this community.
I want to know how many post I make each day
and I also want to know each catagory how many post I make?
guys plz help me.
Like what Rashid pk said you can post as much as you want but it must contribute to the discussion and is not a form of spam for you to not get a red trust or banned. You can also post any category that you want depending on the board. If you want to post about other topics not related to the board you are currently in then you only need to move on to another board.
576  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When to consider buying a coin ? on: January 20, 2018, 10:33:48 PM
Hello guys ! Still a newbie in this community and seeking for your opinion and advices. Every suggestions will be accepted. Criticising my work is a good way also to help me understand/learn more.

So, I was just wondering how could i consider/know when to buy a coin if i want to since i am also planning to invest some money on ETH. I understand the fact that we buy if the price is low or if you can see that you can gain profit from it but what  i mean is that how could i know that the price is already low or it's enough for me to gain profit. I have been visiting some site daily to check every coins price but i dont know if the price is fair enough for me.

Did i make any sense ? Hope you guys understand what i mean.

Thanks a lot !
Look at the charts. If you see it going down recently, then you will know that the price is low and is a good entry point in ETH. Do not buy when you see that it has gained some value because it might cause you losses in the long run. If you are in for a long term hodl though, do not look at prices since current price would not matter anymore in the future because it might have reached unimaginable heights.

578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or Waves? on: January 19, 2018, 11:02:05 PM
I have 3 ETH and i want to buy some Waves and hold it for long time. Which will be the best option? Buying Waves or Hold ETH!
If I were ask which is the best between the two, I will say that there is no better coins between the two because they both function differently and can be used in a different way from the other. The best thing to do though is to divide your investments into both coins. Always remember to not put your eggs in one basket so that wen the other one losses value, then you will still have other to profit with and the chance of total loss lessens.
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: <<<LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCED ICO CAMPAIGN MANAGERS!!!>>> on: January 18, 2018, 11:45:07 PM
Hi guys,

We are looking for experienced campaign managers for our ICO to start in March 2018. You would have to have prior ICO marketing experience and referrals. Please simply send us a direct message.

Best,
Coinseed
First of all this post is in the wrong section. This should be on marketplace(altcoins) and not on altcoins discussion. If you are looking for one good campaign manager, I suggest you contact sylon or any other known campaign managers here like blockeye and yahoo62278. IMO those well known campaign managers have vast experience and will meet your expectations.
