When I thought about it, I already saw bitcoin as a payment option before way back 2012 when I joined those PTC sites but I did not mind about it because I am more concerned about earning dollars. I forgot about it and then around 4th quarter of 2015, my office mate introduce to me about bitcoin and the price is around $250 but I wasn't interested during that time.

After a few months around May 2016, I saw a bitcoin faucet and then started earning there. I search for the price then which is around $400 during that time and I search the price history and then I was amaze by the increase. I purchase a whole bitcoin during that time but lose it investing in HYIP sites and gambling sites. Now I am trying to gain it back.

I didn't take any course to learn bitcoin and blockchain but I am willing to if given the chance. I am just short in funds nowadays but if the day will come when I have the extra funds then I would be willing to take a course. I know that I have so much to learn regarding cryptocurrencies because I am curious in some things and I am willing to learn new things. Being in the forum makes me more knowledgeable in this field but then a comprehensive course about cryptocurrencies and blockchain would be better. Even if I have learned so much in this forum, I am pretty sure there are so many things I have yet to learn.

There are times when I choose to hold the coin and there are times when I would sold immediately which would depend on my situation at the moment. If I am out of funds then I would sell the coin but if half of it is enough then I would only sold half of it. One of the frequent things that I do when I receive the bounty is to sold half of it if its value is valuable and if not then I would just choose to sell it all.

If I think that the coin has a potential to be more valuable in the future because the communication is constant and the team are knowledgeable about their project and most of the time answer the investor's questions then I would hold it until such time when its value reach 5x or 10x. There are even coins that I am willing to hold for years because I believe in it and the developers are very active and you can see their dedication to the project.

I am using ETH for trading and long term investment. I like to hold ETH for long term because aside from bitcoin, ETH has been existing for a long time a well and use for its purpose which is for smart contracts and some are for payment option. I am also exchanging the ERC 20 tokens that I receive for ETH temporarily and some I buy again when I think it hit a support. I have observed that most of the coins' price are dump after being listed so I would sell higher and then buy with twice the quantity of it. I am using ETH as well to exchange for fiat because our platform only accepts btc and eth to be exchange to fiat and I like using eth more because of the lower transaction fee and faster in confirmation time.

It is just a normal profit taking by those who are looking for that level and set their sell in that price. Not all the time that a news is just the basis for a price movement because there is technical analysis. It has reach a major resistance that's why the price went down but it would just be temporary fall because it would rise up again since the volume is increasing. For those who are day trading, some of them do not mind the news at all. They just watch the market and see the price action through the shape and pattern of the candles and can have a speculation of where the price might go.

I didn't lose my faith in BTC. With what you showed OP, I am more confident that the dip recently is temporary and then we are going to the moon again. There are good news and bad news but recently there are so many good news that cannot be ignored especially the entry of some big players in the financial industry that are doubtful before of bitcoin but now they are joining the crypto world. There are some hints that they become whales but then if they can add to the volume and can help in mass adoption then so be it.

If cryptocurrency kills people then other currencies too like fiat and any mode of payment may it be precious metals or others that both parties - the buyers and the sellers would agree upon. There is truth to it that cryptocurrency make some people hide their financial transactions causing some people to endanger their life but I think fiat is more anonymous than crypto because you can transact with fiat without any evidence while in cryptocurrency, you can trace the transaction in the blockchain. Bill Gates may have some bad opinion about bitcoin and crypto in general but sooner or later he would join the bandwagon too just like what others did.

I would suggest to invest in both although most of the time when the value of bitcoin goes up, the value of ETH too follow but then you diversify still your risk because there may be time when one of them is going up and one is doing down so you will still have profits. You are holding both of them for long term anyway and most likely, their value would multiply so there is nothing to worry. Maybe from time to time you should cash out so that you can still feel those profits or maybe if you know how to use TA then sell when it seems like it hit resistance and then buy again when it reach a support.

Currently, I am doing a swing trading because I am still accumulating bitcoin which I plan to hold for the long term. I am also accumulating ETH because these two coins are my two must haves when it comes to long term holding. Many would say that holding is much profitable but it depends still on your strategy if you are willing to wait until such time the coin you hold goes to the moon or you will take advantage of price swings. As for me, I am more comfortable of trading it from time to time than waiting for the day it would shoot up.

Wars are happening because countries do not agree on some things so a currency that can be use by anyone in the world is not possible for me. I don't think we would be able to enforce it that very country accept bitcoin because each has different views of it. Some legalized it and some ban it because they cannot see the importance of it that's why it would be hard to make it a global currency. Each country has it own legal currency and making a global one would be near to impossibility.
