561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cannot be a global currency on: April 27, 2018, 08:10:36 AM
Yes maybe, bitcoin cannot be a global currency but it is an internet currency, rather cryptocurrency. Everybody in the financial technology has already known that bitcoin is the money of the internet. There are many cryptos but bitcoin is universal in digital world.
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO] EVOCHAIN BOUNTY PROGRAM - 500,000+ ECHO on: April 25, 2018, 04:52:51 AM
The signature campaign is quite unclear to me. Is the payment weekly or per post? For the signature campaign, if it is for the whole ICO period, it is quite low. Please clarify the details.

I would also want to ask about the total supply of EVOchain coin. Thanks.
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After a Bad Sell on: April 24, 2018, 04:30:54 AM
So this happened to me twice this week, first I sold Bitcoin Cash and the next day, it started booming and has not up considerably and still going strong, then I sold Golem and boom it goes too.

What do you do in such situations? When you finally sell for a small profit after a long wait but then you realize that you missed on big profit with you bad timing.
How do you deal with this? Any tips to minimize this or overcome after such bad timing decisions?

A profit is still a profit. Nothing you can do to recover it and get bigger profit. Best thing is read and research about what other traders are saying about this coin and that coin. I consulted most of my trading moves from tradingview[dot]com.

Follow the trading experts with most followers because most of the time they are up to 80% correct, then you decide if you can follow their advice or make your own decision based on your readings of the graph. Get opinion of other experts too to weigh in so you can decide entirely based on what you learn.

Hello bounty manager,Why week 12 and 13 there is no stake given? I know I met the required posts in signature campaign. The week 11, I admit doesn't reached the 15 constructive posts. But week 12 and 13 you should check it because I reached the minimum and even surpassed it. Please sir you can recheck it, spreadsheet line #54 signature campaign. Thanks.
565  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advice for a crypto beginner? on: April 19, 2018, 12:30:24 PM
I just got $250 in BTC for a bug bounty. What should I do with it? Hold, or invest elsewhere?
I already bought 8 ETH a few weeks ago.

In need of advice. Don't really know how to get into crypo, but I definitely want to. Could somebody point me in the right direction?

Edit: Also, can somebody enlighten me as to what /r/BTC and /r/Bitcoin disagree on? I've looked at both sides, but I honestly still don't know what both sides are.
Hold it. Bitcoin is a good investment despite of being with high volatility environment. In other words, hold it maybe one day it will become $2500. While you are waiting for the day to come Research more about how to trade and investing in the market, maybe it will multiply even more. The higher the risks the greater the rewards. Who  knows, one day your $250 becomes $25000. Just Do your own research.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE coin will it go beyond $1, why & why not? on: April 19, 2018, 05:07:33 AM
I hold some DOGE if it goes 1 USD, I will have some decent money to spend some going to some parts of the world. I just want to know if this year it will touch 1 USD like the XRP which they have the same volume as Billion supply I mean.
If you hold around 1M doge and you will be the next rich person but it will never be happened. $1 rate for doge is an impossible thing. In fact about doge will be stay on the penny rate.
There is no the usefulness by hold doge right now until it will be ressurected by ether developer. The inflation of doge makes it impossible.

Thanks. I scrolled most of the posts and I realized that although DOGE has big communities, the utility of the coin is not as useful as other cryptocurrency. It has also huge supply on the market bigger than those with altcoins that has billions of supply. Since the market is experiencing bullish market, my DOGE will grow and that's the time I had to just play along with the coin not as cryptocurrency.

568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Today April 16, Bitcoin price has bounded over $8,100.00 on: April 18, 2018, 08:44:54 AM
Bitcoin price will continue increasing this year to reach around 13000 on june and 5% every month , regarding to the market changes , but this what experts says.

Good news like this favors investors and new players alike. However, it remains an speculation even if it makes the people alive, we still have no control over what happens in the next few weeks or so. Let's just hope it will really happen so all that is in the cryptocurrency is happy. Else another false prophet will make the crowd inactive and some will leave the crytocurrency world because of drained wealth.
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH TO $ 5000 on: April 18, 2018, 07:17:10 AM
Now that Ethereum are used by most ICO's do you think before the end of the year (2018) ethereum will go up to 5000 usd ?
Because for me I believe that ethereum has a potential to get that price before 2019 . What's your prediction ?
Yes why not. That's my spirit. There is no way why it can't go that price since all the other altcoins suddenly experience  their price is going up. I am hopeful it will if people and investors will help each other overtaking bitcoin for the time being it will soar up high.
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are you gonna buy ? BTC LTC ETH ? other on: April 18, 2018, 07:04:07 AM
The best to buy of the three between BTC, LTC, or ETH is of course bitcoin. No need to argue on that. Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency. It has a high command over all other cryptocurrency even if ethereum or litecoin surpassed the coin market capital share of bitcoin, bitcoin still affects the price of all the altcoins. Next to me is ethereum, it is somewhat giving me good return of profit for now and the least is LTC. I do not hold much LTC but price is slow moving.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Day Trading VS ICOs? on: April 18, 2018, 06:46:59 AM
The possibility of making a lot of money in one day, via day trading, is alluring to most.  However, if you're working a full-time job (or two) how can you spend time watching the market to know when to buy and sell?  I'm in a few other groups and people are often promoting ICOs as the way to go.  They definitely require less monitoring.  What do y'all think?

Day trading in my own view is very risky especially if you are newbie. I will instead go to ICO, some waiting yes, but if you are studying the potential of each ICO you joined there maybe you can get a bag of gold in return when the campaign is ended. Many people are venturing into ICO and what I have heard most of them who invested have their money returned double or some even at 1000x when they HODL it and the potential to gain more is bigger.

572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Will Ethereum reach 1200 again? on: April 18, 2018, 06:41:16 AM
Really depends on the market right now, all eyes are on BTC. Or should be on Bitcoin. Likely alts are completely REKT right now, if BTC goes up, alts will go down, if BTC goes down alts will go down aswell. If Bitcoin can set another bullrun in we will see another altrun aswell likely but I'm personally very bearish.
I hope that this year it will reach even the 1000 USD area. It is enough growth so that the lose capital invested will be returned and with some profits. I lose already half of my capital because of bearish market. I lose half because I sold some already. That's fine for me compared to people who lose, I heard, 90% of their invested capital when they bought sometime in Decmeber going to January and decided to HODl it. Maybe they are newbie and had purchased at the top price of the coins.
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how do you choose Altcoin .. ?? on: April 18, 2018, 05:41:03 AM
How do you choose Altcoin...??!
And how do you choose a bounty project ... ??!
Please give me your opinion, because your opinion will be very useful for me who is still as a beginner ..
Altcoins can give a competition to bitcoin in terms of prices and profit making. Why? Bitcoin is highly volatile if you are not a good trading analysts, you may lose a huge amount of money you invest in bitcoin.

Altcoins are derived from blockchain so it can have its own wallet while most of the ICOs are eth base, meaning they are ERC20 token which cannot have its own wallet but ethereum compatible via ERC20.

I choose bounty first looking for the development team if they are real people, second is the utility of the token and lastly, I read about the details of the project if they can be real approach to the present technology, then it is possible they will be successful in running their ICO.

574  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think cryptocurrencies have the potential to overtake regular currencies? on: April 18, 2018, 05:11:39 AM
Would banks and governments actively work and implement countermeasures to undermine this process? Are the underestimating the potential of cryptocurrencies by investing in some of them?
Do you think there is a possibility of cryptocurrencies being banned in the future for the reason of being a threat to "normal" currencies?

Cryptocurrencies are already banned in some countries but there are also countries wholeheartedly accept bitcoin  and altcoins like Japan and MALta and Australia too but they are subject to regulations. Stiffer regulation makes cryptocurrency move forward just like in Japan where exchanges are thinking to move its operation in a much crypto friendly regulation and environment country.
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH and BCH: Race to $1000 on: April 18, 2018, 04:46:26 AM
Everyone is hopeful that the market is now all green and the coins are increasing in price. However, as I look at the prices of the coins in the top 100 in coinmarket, I realized the fall of bitcoin cash compared to its boom last year. Now, it is in the price where there's only so little gap between it and ETH. Now, which do you think will reach the $1000 first? Any opinion?
I think that the Etherium will overtake Bitcon Cash in terms of growth as a percentage, and at a price in general, the main thing is to believe.

Yes, I agree on this. BCH, is only a fork from Bitcoin. It was only hype that so much it became controversial but ethereum has
more followers and good dev behind it. Vitalik is hands on with his ethereum just like Charlie Lee of LTC. And of course, because I am a believer of ethereum too, I will keep believing that it will be back to $1000  this 2018. I am hoping by this yearend.
576  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: April 18, 2018, 04:21:08 AM
Bitcoin: $1260/BTC
Gold: $1241/xau
Well, I can not believe that the Bitcoin prices has crossed over gold sooner than I expect. I thought the process would be finished in April. Wow, Bitcoin is truly worth and everyone who has sold their Bitcoin has made a huge mistake. Nothing can stop Bitcoin right now.

Even if bitcoin beat gold in terms of value, these two still have different characteristic. Gold is physical while bitcoin is digital. In terms of physical characteristic you can expect gold to be in many uses and while bitcoin is in digital uses too. Many people and investors are hook to bitcoin because it is safe to invest and you can carry it to your pocket via your android phone while in gold, you can't carry it in your pocket and purchase things in the internet using it.
577  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: finish college or keep playing bitcoin? on: April 18, 2018, 04:08:44 AM
Right now I love bitcoin from 2106 till now and currently I'm in college but by playing bitcoin I can make a lot of money what should I do? I prefer to play bitcoin instead of college. I also realize that bitcoin will not last forever therefore I want to take advantage when bitcoin still exists.
College is for security in the future but this case is not proven to be true because many college graduate are jobless and doesn't land a nice job with a decent income. So if you think you can be good in bitcoin and investing will make your future more secure and will lock a financial freedom why not take advantage of it, then think some other time to continue your college education just to say you are a college graduate already.
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin or ethereum ? on: April 16, 2018, 07:03:11 AM
Is now the Right Time to Invest in Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Should I Stay Away?
The market is moving up why not take advantage? You can buy both but for me I prefer ethereum because it is my favorite. It is the right time to buy the king of cryptocurrencybitcoin and the powerful ethereum. These two are the most influential cryptocurrency so there is no need to think of staying away with these two.
579  Economy / Economics / Re: George Soros "getting ready" to trade cryptocurrencies on: April 16, 2018, 06:41:24 AM
George Soros is reportedly getting ready to start trading in crypto. Now, I wonder what the hell does that mean. Soros is a multi billion dollar player... it's not like the markets are liquid enough for him unless he wants to stay with Bitcoin only, the rest of the coins are a joke as we all know, so I assume his biggest position would be Bitcoin.

Will he be trading futures or the actual asset? does this bring us closer to an ETF since the SEC would sure like to see huge players trading an ETF and not Bitcoin itself? (so they can manipulate it better..)

What impact do these George Soros news have on Bitcoin?

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/04/06/soros-fund-reportedly-preparing-to-trade-cryptocurrencies.html

The news say it will be through his investment fund, but we don't know what they will be doing exactly.

If GSoros is a big player then, another potential whales are in town. What else, only whales (big players) have the ability and capability to manipulate the market because of huge funds they own in trading cryptocurrency. DO not expect them to turn holy when they want to play the market and make it rise and make it fall. They know that the market is their milking cow.
580  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin stability important? on: April 16, 2018, 06:33:59 AM
I think promoting bitcoin stability is partly a matter of avoiding the alcoint crisis, major changes in cryptocurrencies activities, high inflation, and excessive volatility and alcoint markets. Instability can increase uncertainty, inhibit investment, hamper the growth of alcoint.
for your opinion.?

When there is stability, whales or pumpers and dumpers and expert traders will not be able to play the market in the trends they want. Advantages of stability also include less risk trading. Meaning, there is no huge lose in the players and investors because volatility is low. That's right, it is good to save bitcoin for long term if it is stable.
