You cannot make a deposit to the ICO site, it's not a wallet. You will have to use the Iguana app to access your funds. Login with the seed and you will see them.

Just be aware that the current version 0.1.4 has many bugs. Next version is coming at the end of this week. If you have any problems the best way to get help is through our Slack.

 - pretty website
 - GUI wallet

People were used to be very skeptical that we could ever finish anything because there were no GUI. Now we have GUI with a great roadmap, and unsurprisingly there are also some bugs. Compared to the amount of work we have put in to the low level code itself, and in the current GUI, these bugs are so little that they are almost meaningless. They will get fixed in time and the GUI will become better and better with more features.

So yes, you are right, many investors look at the GUI and then sell because there was a bug. However, we have a dedicated GUI team which will eventually fix all those bugs.

How to send your KMD to an exchange

- go to 'home' tab
- click 'use exsisting KMD address'
- input the deposit KMD address you got from an exchange
- Now that you have the correct KMD address you can proceed to the 'payout' tab
- Since you are using a 3rd party address you don't have the seed, and thus you will click 'skip'
- Follow instructions and confirm the withdrawal

Warning: make sure you are doing the withdrawal to a correct address! Once we send out the KMD there is no way to retrieve it.

How to send your KMD to your own KMD address

1) go to home page, click 'HOME'
2) If you don't have a seed generate a new one by clicking 'Reset Seed', follow the instructions
3) Double check your seed matches with the KMD address, click 'Check KMD address', follow the instructions
4) go to 'PAYOUT' tab
5) click 'Request payout'
6) type the seed, click 'confirm'
7) click 'send'
8 ) wait that we process the payout (check your KMD address from kpx.io)
9) after we have paid, you can open Iguana Desktop App
10) Select 'full mode' or 'basilisk mode' and insert your seed to the desktop app

Install the Iguana to send/receive Komodo. Launch Komodo in either 'full mode' or 'basilisk mode'.

Keep in mind that the Iguana was just launched and it's status is 'public beta', thus there are some bugs. However, using your funds in 'full mode' or 'basilisk mode' is safe.

For now it is not possible to generate more addresses, but when it is you will have to backup those addresses. You can always get an access to the first address that is generated with your seed, so as long as you don't generate any additional addresses all you need is the seed.

Keep in mind that the funds are not really in your wallet - they are in the blockchain. The wallet is used to monitor, send, and receive funds. Please keep in mind that with the 12 word seed anyone could access your funds and steal them, so store it somewhere safe and don't share it.

Sounds weird, your coins should show up in block explorer. Did you withdraw them from our ICO site or from an exchange?

Did I understand correctly, when you launch Iguana app it automatically logs in with some random seed? Try closing the app and then make sure all the Iguana processes are closed from the task manager. Then launch the app again. There is a bug where the Iguana app doesn't close properly, and some processes are still running even though you think you closed the app.

In any case, your coins have not been lost as they exist in the blockchain. The Iguana app is just used to monitor your balance.

Did you make a withdrawal request? Those are processed manually and it may take days. We have already processed 8 payouts.

If the withdrawal is pending it means it will be in the next payout.

The next Iguana release will have a lot less bugs. If you don't want to wait for that then please describe the problem, your OS, and which mode you are using. We have just hired a person for technical support. In the latest version the full mode is a bit buggy on Windows, the Basilisk mode works better.

There is some bug that doesn't close Iguana properly, and it causes problems. I'm not 100% sure if it is related to this "oops something went wrong" problem. This bug will be fixed in the new version.

We soon have a technical support person here and he will get familiar with all these bugs and give a better answer.

There have been so many questions that we haven't had time to really answer them all. Also this has tied up our own resources from other tasks. We are now looking to solve this problem by hiring support.


We might have already found a suitable person, so we could start offering more individual support as early as tomorrow.

If you had the BTCD in your local wallet before the snapshot, then just export the private keys. You can see your REVS when you enter your BTCD address to the revs.supernet.org block explorer. You can use the BTCD privatekey to move the funds.

At this point it doesn't matter what you do with your BTCD, the REVS should be there already.

You don't really import anything as the KMD exist in the blockchain just like bitcoin exit in bitcoin blockchain. You can use the seed to move your funds, like you use your bitcoin private keys to send bitcoin.

When you move KMD to your address just make sure you got the correct seed saved. In the future (and in 'native mode') you can create new KMD addresses and those need to be backed up.

If you create a new KMD address you need to back it up! Just a heads up, currently it is not possible to create a new address.
