561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: September 27, 2019, 12:59:28 PM
No it isn't killing the entire crypto space,
It is just driving away the investors who couldn't spot a scam project.
And it is our fault on falling victim on their schemes and supporting them .
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties question on: September 27, 2019, 11:14:24 AM
Hi people, pls i need info on the following bounty projects because i watched them carefully and i want to know if users on here get paid
1. BCNEX
2. ETERBASE
3. ETERZERO
I got info about bcnex exchange even before the bounty started and i knew its not a scam project because my source is very good, same thing as eterbase too
I only knew abouy BCNEX because they have a good campaign promotion here in the forum.
But I don't know the two other campaigns I stop joining some signature campaign unless I could easily trade the reward or use the reward.
563  Economy / Economics / Re: The Latest Crypto Price Dip Is Fueled By Fake News Relating to Quantum Computers on: September 26, 2019, 06:04:32 AM
The piece of news from google was a couple days ago, there's no connection between that and todays 'dip'. The price was going sideways for too long, expectations for Bakkt were too high, and we're seeing a large decrease in price following weeks of stability. We might go back to ~$10k but it may 'dip' again.

It's all like you say, but that wouldn't make an interesting article for an average crypto investor, people want to get one big single reason why Bitcoin dropped, and it must be something that sounds really scary. Crypto is full of retail investors without any experience in trading before they picked cryptocurrency, which is why these news sites are of so poor quality - they don't have to produce any high quality analysis and overview, a simple clickbait would do much better for them.
Yes a simple clickbait and fake news could affect the market since like you've said most of the new ones in cryptodoesn't have some trading back ground,
And easily get nervous on a fake news without even trying to search if the news are true or not.
This is the perfect example of buy the rumors and sell fact
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Look For In A Bounty Campaign on: September 26, 2019, 03:42:29 AM
For me, an important factor when choosing a project is its product. If the product is needed and in demand, then this is a good signal. Next, the team is important and who supports the project, that is, partners. The future of the project depends on these people and whether it will be implemented at all. As for earnings, it is important for me here that conditions and cheating do not change, in other words, the project team must fulfill its original conditions for payments, and not change the conditions or find excuses.
Yes but it all comes down to the end of the campaign.
I think what OP is trying to ask here is what would they need in order to get us attracted to their campaign.
And I think all of us would agree to this terms,
No KYC : Because it is hard to give out our personal information and we don't know if they are trusted or not.
Sure reward : Something that would guarantee our reward as a bounty hunter ,Payment like ETH or something that could easily be traded.
Active Team : To keep us inform about the project and all of the important things that is happening .

If you thoroughly researched the project, would you consider doing KYC as long as you deemed them professional and trustworthy?
It all depends onthe condition of the bounty,
As you could see there are some who already announce it before the bounty starts,
And there are some who would announce it after the bounty ends.
If they already state it from the very start and the one who are managing the campaign is well known bounty manager then I might consider it after all it is thebounty manager's job to make sure that what he/she or they are holding is legit and trustworthy.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins prices are bleeding heavily on: September 25, 2019, 01:43:21 PM
Not just the alt-coinbut the crypto market is bleeding we have experiencing a red market once again,
Who knows maybe it would bounce hard after this drop (Just wishful thinking).
But I think if this would bounce back then it is better to grab some now before it is too late.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 24.09.2019 - another black day in crypto? (Red Market) reason? on: September 25, 2019, 10:18:49 AM
Just when is about to have greater prospects we get another dip I really wonder sometimes what really happens in this market Is just not predictable most times But am kinda sure it will correct itself in few days
This is how the market reminds us that it could always f*ck us up so we shouldn't always take it for granted.
Who knows if the pump and dump of the market is just a manipulation of those who really have a power in the market (Whales coordinating or manipulating the price).
For sure those who have a huge amount could easily play the market and the people would play along in their plan.
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are u buying alts? on: September 25, 2019, 09:27:38 AM
Yes but only those Big names like ETH,LTC and XRP .
I don't think that the new alts are really worth it since most of them are dropping down insanely after their initial offering.
And I want to buy as much asI coulr and wait for the next alt season.

569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why price down after listing in exchanges on: September 24, 2019, 07:19:12 AM
Truth.
Basically the first factor.
If the asset were of fundamental value, then all bounty hunters or airdropers would not destroy the price by 90%.
But everyone wants fast money here and now.
Here we go again .
Would you explain how does the airdrop or bounty participants destroy the price by 90%.
When the bounty + airdrop would only be about around 5-10% of the supply.
And not to mention that we have some bounty or airdrop holders.
Truth to be told it is not just the bounty hunters who are crashig it,
It is also the investors and the small amount of demand .
570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin and casinos on: September 24, 2019, 06:29:32 AM
I have worked for a few years in a casino and I couldn't help but imagine that people should be able to gamble with bitcoin.

Is it already happening? - I don't mean on the internet

And do you think this will be future of casinos?
There are already tons of casino games that we could play using crypto you only need to know the website.
And there are also some people who use some online games to gamble and have fun for example tongits go and other kinds of apps too.
And I don't really think that people or high roller would be interested on going at a casino just to play with their crypto specially if they could just easily do it anywhere they want.
571  Economy / Economics / Re: CASHING OUT YOUR CRYPTO-CURRENCY PROFITS on: September 22, 2019, 12:01:31 PM
Since you don't want to attract attention I think it would be better to keep quiet about it,
Just tell them about it when they need to know but as long as they don't ask about it and it is not illegal in your country then just keep a low profile and for sure they wouldn't mind it at all.
Just show them how you earn it and it is a clean profit not something that came out of dirty business.
572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Identify Cryptocurrency Scams on: September 22, 2019, 10:40:58 AM
Nice article and it is really true most of us falls into the trap because we panic or buy the fake news ,
Most of us never really check where did the source came from,This fake news is created to pump or dump the market.
And most of the time it always works because of those people who falls into it.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen after cryptocurrency on: September 21, 2019, 07:14:39 AM
Money changed its shape through the history. As from non-monetary exchange to the need of having money. Fast forward to our current banknotes which are in my opinion slowly dying with bitcoin taking over. Many discussions are being held if bitcoin can be the primary currency in the world. Let's assume it can be. Everything has an end so what do you think will come after bitcoin? What will money look like hundreds of years from now? I predict its gonna be digital of course but I'm interested if its going to be a cryptocurrency or something else.
I agree it would be digital currency in the future they would be paying everything through the internet.
I don't really think that crypto currency or Bitcoin,Etherum or any other big names of crypto would replace Fiat ,
But I think Fiat would adopt and be digital and be used like crypto we are already using cards to easily pay with Fiat so maybe in the future it would be more high tech.
574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption! Finally? on: September 21, 2019, 05:18:39 AM
It would only be a matter of time before everyone finally accept Bitcoin as a payment method.
Every year more and more people, company or business are accepting cryptoas a payment so for me we are near on being able to use it as a regular currency,
Since crypto made a huge noise back in 2017 we are seeing some big names entering crypto industry promoting it.
The only question here is do you see it as a currency for payment or just a stock for investment?
575  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do I do with my bitcoins ? on: September 20, 2019, 02:18:05 AM
I am in mid 20's and holding and accumulating as much BTC as I can. I try to save a small amount of bitcoins every month so that I can do something with it when I retire.
But what if something unfortunate happens to me. What should I do 'now' so that the coins can be used for a good purpose in the future by the right person.
I know I can hide the instructions to the private key for somebody to take it in the future. But my question is whom should I give it to ?

I do not want to give it to my relatives or children since I want them to earn on their own and never depend on others money.
I know I can donate it to charity but what's the guarantee that the money will be gone into good hands and will be used for the right purpose ?

Are there any options that you guys think of ? Have you guys thought about such a scenario ?
Make sure that your kids future is already secure or if you really don't want them to have something from your money at least let them finish their studies with it .
Make some plan for them then if there is some crypto left donate it to some charity that helps the homeless or a people that you know who really helps the needy one's .
The only thing that I want for my crypto is to be used by my family since I earned it for them and to secure that they have a home and have a bright future.
576  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ Bitkul.com ⭐ Is A Prediction High-Low Platform 🔥 on: September 20, 2019, 01:39:51 AM
Guess its too early to sleep.hehe

Well I am having the same problem right now I was just going to look at their site for a bit but I guess I couldn't do it right now.
I have some question for them as well if they ever want to get the site running again what is the advantage of using their site compare to other site that offers this kind of betting system too?
If I am not mistaken there are already several sites that have this kind of betting.
577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lets think Bitcoin as an investment not payment system, is this right? on: September 19, 2019, 08:34:48 AM
Let's face it most of us are seeing Bitcoin that way .
Most of the new in crypto or those who got into crypto back in the 4th quarter of 2017 see's it that way.
They just came because of the profit they doesn't really know much about crypto.
And base on how people commented on my old thread it shows that most of us are only looking at it as an investment and doesn't really wants to use it as a payment method.
578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Pishing Scam Goes Wrong on: September 19, 2019, 01:36:03 AM
That's a lot of scammers. Lol

It seems that most people from the Philippines doesn't know how Bitcoin works yet. I guess they were newbies trying to double their money to any type of pyramid scheme, too sad for them, they were being played out with those Chinese nationals. Luckily they were arrested and it seems that someone with a brain know what to do. Grin
Well I hate to agree with youbut I think you are right about it.
Most of my fellow countrymen doesn't really know about it and only thinks of it as a token for investment or an investment tool.
Let's just hope that the people who got scammed would get back their money and for those scammers to be put in jail .
They deserve it people are working hard to earn money and most of us are looking for a way to earn some extra cash and I guess that's the reason why they got scammed.
579  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you guys ok if BTC ends in the 10k USD range at the end of 2019? on: September 18, 2019, 04:43:00 AM
Yes it would be great all I ever wanted for the BTC price before this year ends is to stay at the 5 digit zone.
So even if it would be flat $10K it would be great for me besides I think we all want a slow growth that would stay still rather than another fast paced growth that would end up falling deep down again.
580  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did i make or lose money on this trade? on: September 17, 2019, 09:29:26 PM
I bought an altcoin a long time ago.  I spent around $850 to buy it.  Example say i bought it at $0.01.  So i bought 85000 of it roughly.  I sold it when it was a bit over 2 cents... but sold exactly half.  Let say i originally spent 0.045 btc to all that altcoin.  When i sold the altcoin... i got back about 0.05 btc.  And of course i still had about 42500 of the altcoin.  But that altcoin has dropped over 90% and i still have it now.

Does that mean even if that altcoin i have go to 0... i still profit because i spent 0.045btc originally for the 85000 altcoins and got back 0.05btc for selling 42500 altcoins?

The thing is the btc that i received back when i sold the altcoin... i still have it.  But the btc price that i received the btc for the altcoin sale was higher than the current btc price now.  So in the end no matter what, i profited because i received more USD worth back then for the sale of altcoin? Or because i received more btc than i started with?

In terms of income, its the USD.  But in terms of btc accumulation, its the 2nd part but still its a yes because i received more btc than i put in it for altcoin right?

Now the thing is do ppl consider altcoin gain or loss... when you sell an altcoin for btc... do you look at the current usd value of total btc received?  Or you look at how much btc you received back?  Because you can easily receive less btc than you originally spent on the altcoin... but the usd value of the btc is worth more.  You could also have a usd loss but receive more btc than you put in... assuming that altcoin does better than bitcoin itself..
It all depends on your point of view some of us looks at the usd price when they are trading while some are looking at crypto price.
And in your case it is very clear that you gain profit from the trade you gain more BTC in it and you still have the half of the alt coin that you bought.
And anytime you could sell it back to get a higher profit .
