5601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I buy TRON or ETH? on: February 11, 2019, 12:07:44 PM
If the suggestion is for a buying at this moment, then I would suggest to buy Tron. As of now the market of tron has declined compared to that of the ethereum market. This surely gets a short term profit, while Ethereum can be given preference for long term profiting as the growth happens gradually along with the bitcoin which at present isn't moving forward with small fluctuations taking place at certain time interval.
5602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP really better than ETH??? on: February 11, 2019, 11:52:12 AM
To what extent xrp or ethereum stands in the competition is much concerned, because more potential coins have been found on the random list. Xrp being manipulative it isn't trusted by more crypto users, still its outcome is good with massive usage taking place on banking needs. Ethereum serving as the platform for large number of ERC-20 based projects makes its strong in the competition.
5603  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hacker stole my funds from blockchain on: February 11, 2019, 11:21:04 AM
From the support team a clear description for the hack has been provided to Op. The wallet service provider cannot take responsibility, it is the mistake made thyself. As each and every activity takes place through internet connectivity, it is good to make transactions through secured platforms.
5604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many BTC Satoshi Nakamoto own? on: February 11, 2019, 10:30:18 AM
It is not that important to know how much bitcoin Satoshi really owns. To me, the innovation made by him is the best. He has made for the people, else he could have invented it as a centralized platform. Another thing quite often new Satoshi's emerge in the cryptocurrency network. In recent days Bitcoin Cash founder has termed himself as Satoshi.
5605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can an Escrow be a guarantee? on: February 11, 2019, 09:28:40 AM
I saw a project and on that project I did not see the team and DEV from the project. however they use Escrow with good positive trust, can it be a determinant that the project will not be scam?
There are few trusted escrow service rendering members in our forum. If they've been taking responsibility then it is good to be a part of the project. Apart from that it isn't good to get into traps of users who render escrow services. Those trusted escrow renderers of our forum won't accept if it is a scam project.
5606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Can Now Buy Movie Tickets Using Bitcoin In Brazil on: February 11, 2019, 09:15:51 AM
That's really interesting, and Brazil has recently come up with the plans of refilling train, bus and other transportation cards with bitcoin. Brazil seems to be progressive with the usage of bitcoin and its usage on Marketplaces too keeps on counting. Movie tickets were much commonly used by public and such a service accepting bitcoin will let more people know about cryptocurrencies.
5607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitTorrent on: February 11, 2019, 08:53:15 AM
Ok it looks like the pump is over now, because the price $0.000736 USD (-9.88%) . I do hope that everyone how join the ride has earn some decent profit because we don't know will be the next pump. So if you think that it can still go to the moon then invest because the price is still cheap.
That's just a small portion of dump compare to the price it increases from the day it was launched IMO. I have them from 15 sat btw.

Let see what's the impact of its airdrop to its value or to trx.
Past two days the value of bittorrent have shown decline in its value. After the decline in between price fluctuations happend forward and backwards. But trx has faced a big loss in value, when majority of the altcoins have shown green indication. Possibly it'll surely take time for recovery.
5608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is knowledge and knowledge is value and value is money on: February 11, 2019, 08:32:29 AM
Bitcoin is an innovation, and to know better about the innovation time is always needed. People just don't think of spending time to learn more about the innovation, but get to know about the possibilities of money making. This gives them more eagerness and out of curiosity many invest big and end up losing while the lucky survives. If the proper learning is done sustained growth happens through the same.
5609  Economy / Economics / Re: Institutional money into Crypto? on: February 11, 2019, 07:24:12 AM
Hey guys. I'm very active on Quora. There a great many people are predicting tgat cryptos will get bigger soon as Wall Street is working to get invested in cryptos. They all think that once banks bring their massive funds into crypto, that the price will go sky high.

I'm not so optimist. I think Wall Street getting into Bitcoin can only mean bad things. Mainly rehypotecation and paper bitcoin allowing countless people to invest in Bitcoin 'certificates' rather than owning actual Bitcoin.

How do you guys feel about that?
You think Wall Street money getting pumped into Bitcoin can be a good thing?

I for one only see bad stuff down that road. Bitcoin  is supposed to be the death of Wall Street, not it's instrument.

Your thoughts?

It's not only Wall Street. It's the CBOE and CME that want bitcoin derivatives. The whole Bakkt project is about bitcoin futures/derivatives.This is what the institutional investors want.I guess that they just want to store btc.
But if you buy such derivative, the entity that owns the real btc that backs that derivative might scam buy.
This is just another level of centralization.
As it has the potential to contribute big to the world, the large scale centralized networks try to be the early investors. In such a way not only Wall Street or CBOE, majority of the financial institutions were into the crypto. Already most of the financial institutions have invested big into crypto indirectly, as the direct involvement will ruin their business stature.
5610  Economy / Economics / Re: Who controls the market? on: February 11, 2019, 06:54:57 AM
Remember, this whole thing about crypto is largely decentralized, thus, there is no single authoritative body in control of the crypto market. Although there are few centralized platforms among crypto, the market is largely influenced by the efforts and influence of the users of crypto. How well sellers and buyers treat the coins on the market affect the performance of the market.

Who invests more money, those control the market Undecided
The more volume investor has, the more market power he has Smiley
That's the general truth, we call them whales because they have more power over a regular investor or trader.
In real world (world that we're used to), it's the government or the big institution who has the power to control the market, but here
it's the early adopters who accumulated a big number of bitcoins, and if the world we are building will succeed, they will be controlling the market.

As in the quote whales were the one who controls the market. The same is limited to certain level beyond which the market moves on its own. In this low volume holders can disturb the market control from whales, for which a strong community is a must in my view. If that's possible and everything is of trust, then surely it is possible to eliminate the market control by whales.
5611  Economy / Speculation / Re: I expect the market to be in green throughout this month. on: February 11, 2019, 06:18:14 AM
When I read  this news three days ago: https://www.rollcall.com/news/congress/the-future-holds-cryptocurrency-based-funds-says-secs-jackson. But since then market reacted a little and everything is now in red today.  I think investors and traders are still waiting for more clearly news to come out before pump the market.
As the cryptocurrency network is speculative, it has reacted to the recent statement. And how long does the market continue to be green is unpredictable. As in the statement once after the market recovery sudden red indication took place throughout the market. As more and more positive news has been coming out can expect green trend to continue with minor fluctuations which is my personal opinion.
5612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN GLORIOUS DAYS MIGHT JUST BE HERE on: February 11, 2019, 05:56:14 AM
As of now we cannot predict the true outcome of the future. Still what we've been experiencing for the past three days gives a happiness. It isn't just because of the price increase, but a forward push has got initiated which has been expected to take place long back itself. Another thing is the crossing of $3500 price barrier. Hope this will continue to break $4000 at the earliest.
5613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 11, 2019, 05:26:52 AM
India needs 30 from 12 balls they have 4 wickets in hand.
Still good chance for India
Check out my pre match prediction in the other cricket thread, i expected New Zealand to score above 200 runs and India chasing and losing the match, but i never expected the match to be this close, both teams played really well and India is not fielding their best team for this short version of the game, if it was a full strength team, they would win the T20 cup too.

England's tour of West Indies was a hard ride for them and they need to win this test to save the face atleast, they were utterly dominated by West Indies throughout this series and a consolation win would be great for their morale. Cheesy
Even this match looks to be on the hands of West Indies as the first innings target of England seems to be 277. In test cricket scenario changes in any time, and it is a hard time for England to prove themselves and get rid of the complete whitewash from the series.
5614  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think the size of the FOMO going to be when it starts? on: February 10, 2019, 07:14:40 PM
Unlike the market FOMO will be found with each and every user. Maybe the large volume holders won't be having this. As an user stated more the growth happening with time more will be the FOMO prevailing among the users. Particularly this can be seen much with the users much focused on trading.
5615  Economy / Economics / Re: All times are good to enter crypto - Tim Draper on: February 10, 2019, 03:20:59 PM
this issue is somewhat interesting. For example, if a people entered the crypto market 1 year ago  The bitcoin he bought for $ 20,000 is now $ 3500. in altcoins, the coin that he bought for $ 2,000 may have been reduced to $ 50. and this really hurts the inside.
This is the complication with cryptocurrency, because we don't know what happens the next minute. The price can peak high or can fall low steeply. For those who bought when the price was around $20000 too will profit out of it. All that required is the patience, because the growth in the market is promised but there isn't any time frame to attain the same. Same is with the one who invested on $3500, he need to wait for the growth to taste the profit.
5616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto-currencies is a right term to refer bitcoin and altcoins together ? on: February 10, 2019, 02:55:04 PM
Cryptocurrency seems to be the perfect term to represent bitcoin and altcoins. Earlier it was virtual currencies and little by little things got changed. Now it's much more perfect than mentioning as virtual currency. Bitcoin. As in the Op everything is associated with blockchain. Upon that it is good to mention it as blockchain money, but being on cryptographic algorithm processing each and every activity happening through the blockchain makes cryptocurrency more apt than being called as blockchain currency.
5617  Economy / Economics / Re: Low BTC price is good for Bitcoins at the moment. on: February 10, 2019, 12:05:33 PM
Value fluctuates with cryptocurrency which is quite a common factor, price has decreased gradually after it peak point which was around $20000. The current price drop that has been lasting for a much longer time period and the same is considered as the time to make an investment. Price will recover and when there is patience surely can benefit out of it.
5618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 10, 2019, 11:35:30 AM
Final Woman cricket T20 match between India vs NZ have started and NZ made 161/7 in 20 overs. India are batting at 80/2 in 9.2 overs and match is balance between both side. India need to win this match so that they win atleast 1 match out of the 3 match series.

At that stage, the match was easy win for India but now it has turned a little for both team although I still think that India will win. India needs 28 run from 18 balls with 6 wickets remaining. Well palyed by Madhana, 86 run from 62 balls.

Indian woman could not convert this well played innings into the victory and lost the match by 2 runs. they would be really disappointed with this performance.

In man after India winning the toss elected to bowl. NZ are on fire and batting at 135/2 in 13.2 overs. 200+ should be the target and this will make more difficult for Indian batsman to chase down with average of 10+ in over unless some one bats really well in India's innings.

Indian girls really played well here but could not finish the match. Losing by just 2 runs is really a disappointment for them but then they should not lose heart as one team has to win and the other has to lose.
Well, it's really a bad day for the Indian cricket fans and Indian cricket team. The women's team lost in two runs and men's team lost by four runs. On the men's match till last over starting Indian cricket fans might have had a strong belief on winning the match. Final over was well bowled leaving back four runs for victory. The match might have turned if a wide was given by the referee.
5619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can you still get rich with crypto? on: February 09, 2019, 07:16:23 PM
Of course! While cryptocurrency and bitcoin will show that they are still alive, then of course it will be possible to get rich! While there will be fluctuations in the course, until then the crypto world will live and we will be with it!)
The fact is that due to price fluctuations in the cryptocurrency market there is daily trading. If the cryptocurrency price is stable, then many people will lose their interest in this type of activity.
Agreed, market fluctuation is the one that attracts large number of users into cryptocurrency. This lets them way to earn through the difference between the buying and selling of assets. At the same there are users who fear of the fluctuations and stand out of cryptocurrency usage. Who has got the ability to invest big can earn big out of cryptocurrency through the different possibilities starting from trading to gambling.
5620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano will replace ETH! on: February 09, 2019, 06:57:05 PM
Cardano could replace, but it won't happen that shortly. As ethereum is a promised asset for investment people prefer ethereum next to bitcoin. Cardano being a unique platform has been found growing high. It is functional with several layers of development. Already just one layer is developed and when the next layer of development on cardano gets over it'll peak much high. By that time the market of cardano might go above ethereum.
