5601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: December 30, 2018, 08:16:26 AM
yes it does   . who says gambling is easy ?  Maybe they are betting big amounts of cash and then they quit instantly win or loose   but for the most of us that are only poor , we only bet a little to less amounts ao that we can stay in game a little longer   .

Evenutally someone invented bots or scripts in order to automate the process of playing a gamble  but still these stuffs will also require an effort or hardwork  to teak their settings in order  achieve a more stable performance .
5602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling strategy, What do you think? on: December 30, 2018, 05:58:29 AM
On the other hand, poker need some strategy and sport betting needs good analysis and fore casting ability to be able to win.
Poker is a strategic game. I do not consider it as gambling. If you are good at math then you can count the cards although you have to be very aware that the house is not suspecting you.

Sports betting needs good analysis but the analysis actually don't work that much. In a bad day the top team on the table can make a draw or lose with the bottom team on the table.

The best strategy I found is not to gamble at all LOL

Poker still based on luck and you cannot possibly count the cards because they are being re shuffle from time to time . though some say that poker can also be a skill based because of the card elements . same goes with the sports betting  .  sports betting can be considered a skill based but not all times your best pick teams will win because alot of factors can matter .   their managers can pay them to loose the match or the team itself will experience a bad luck during game play  .

Lol thats not a strategy anymore because that is already a decision  .
5603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can I earn 1 bitcoin in 1 year through bounties ?? on: December 30, 2018, 05:15:28 AM
I am in the crypto world since a long time but I never earned 1 BTC whole ever..I never took bounties too seriously but now I am jobless and want to start with bounty...how much can be earned with bounties specially with my rank..

Yes, you can earn more than 1 BTC by just joining bounties here in the forum,  but first you need to learn how to choose good bounties because as we all knows there are a lot of scam and bounties in the bounty section, that is why we need to determine first which bounties among those bounties will bring a good future for us in that way we can earn more as we want.

Nowadays it is not possible to earn 1btc thru a bounties due to the market situation which is in dip and more ico's are likely to become postponed due to lesser number of investors . the one that is affected the most are the bounty hunters because they are working too hard to promote the project day and night  24/7 days a week  .

Last year (2017 ) where all cryptos were pumped up   , many bounties offers higher rewards that is verry close to 1btc  .  sadly the opposite happen this year but hopefully next year will not be the same .
5604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: December 30, 2018, 04:04:07 AM
Not much to be honest because I know gambling is addictive and we may lose more money in no time. When ever I am gambling online I will just play some bets it maybe done in minutes either I win or lose I won't go beyond my level but sometime I tempted to do with greediness and losing some more money.
Same thing with me, I don’t want to become addict in gambling and that is why I don’t gambe much and spend only a little time to gamble online. Greed will bring bad things to you especially in gambling, so if you continue to gamble with greed at a longer time expect to be lose. I just bet online and I’m not expecting to make huge profit on that because gambling is gambling, and the house will always win.
Spending less time initially is not a big job but you need to keep that limit always will help you to avoid getting addicted and also don't think this is a way of making money if you don't want to get into the serious loss in gambling.

The problem lies there.

There are a lot of gamblers that get addicted to gambling, it is great that some are earning good amount of money but I don't think that that will be the same with other gamblers. They should never look at gambling as a source of income as we all know it is very risky to make gambling as your source. You should really limit yourself from gambling and only put a small period of time that you can gamble.

Correct . gambling should only be treated as a kind of entertainment to be able to enjoy and forget your problems for a while . the winnings or the profit that we can get is only an incentive for playing and should not be treated as a kind of source of primary income .

For me i only spend 3 times a week at most but if some other time that i feel busy i rarely play gambling .   aside from online gambling , i also go to the casinos on our city because they are accesible and they had alot of variety of games to play with .

Most importantly , We need to have a balanced schedule to do other task and chores because that can help lessen the habit of being addicted to gambling .
5605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing casino games online a good idea? on: December 30, 2018, 02:35:07 AM
For me playing on a online casino has a positive and a negative sides , For example. Me myself , I play on a real casino because I have a lot of friends playing. One of the negative sides is I cant play with my friends socially but when they are not on on playing I play online and that is for me the positive side. There are more positive and negative sides it is just depending on yourself on how you see it.

That is the same with my situation . i feel shy to go outside because im too conscious about how i look . thats why i dont socialize or go outside .  my world only revolve online and online gambling is the only version of gambling that i play on my entire life even when im getting old enough .

Good or bad , that's all I got and my country people got as there are very very few casinos here because gambling is illegal.
So far my online casino experience has been great , I love bitvest.io and also other sports betting sites .

Just as Absy stated above, online casinos are handy, simply give a person total freedom (no specific country restrictions). 777coin is great place to gamble, remained solid and transparent for few years now. I personally feel comfortable visiting their platform. Stroke of adrenaline is guaranteed. Enjoy

You guys were both wrong . online gambling has also restrictions just like on other websites and they can sometimes be country specific but they can easily be bypass using a vpn or any other spoofer .
5606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is growing at nonstop rates in my country on: December 29, 2018, 10:59:11 PM
I think it is not just in your country, because gambling could be everywhere if there is no one stepping to stop it then it will continue to grow. But on one point, these casinos are helping in the economy of their own country. And with the right rules and regulations, everything could be beneficial in the economy despite the bad habits that could bring to the youngster.
Yeah, even in my country the gambling is growing and you can see a lot of casinos everywhere you go. This is really good to boost our economy and it can increase the tourist level if the government is able to regulate well those casinos. We also have a lot of carnivals where you can also gamble, especially during holidays and you can see that a lot of people are playing, and hoping that they can win some money.

Gambling cant boost the countries economic and tourist level because tourist arent arent attracted to it  . what attracts them is the scenery or the landmarks . you did also mention carnivals,  afaik carnivals are not casinos or gambling because they are purely consist of rides like feris wheel , merry go round , bump cars , etc  .

On our country gambling isnt really growing because it is restricted but online gamblings are the ones that are indemand here because we are free to play it without getting jailed .
5607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is the best Auto-Bot Dice strategy? on: December 29, 2018, 02:18:36 PM
Hello guys,

I generally use some form of Martingale on auto bots, but they eventually tend to lose!
I'm trying to figure out a strategy to overcome them using a combination of target & break strategy! (after achieving a mini target taking some break)

If you know any other successful strategy which you're using feel free to mention it.

Thanks.
Martingale - The term was kinda obsolete in the gambling section for a while but thank you for bringing it back. It doesn't work. Auto-betting does anything but saves you from the pain of clicking buttons all the time. There are no strategies, no martingale, and prediction of the next bet if you're playing on the legitimate casinos.

Martingale is a verry trendy method on the gambling scene  but why do you  call it obsolete ? Maybe you are not really a gambler because you arent aware with its popularity  .

It does also work but you should not abuse its powers because too much is always bad  .   im using martingale method at all times especially on hi lo games and dice games    .  i can also recomend it when use with bots for a more convienent play   .

taking a break after a win or a small win is just psychological and doesn't do anything good for your next bets.

Sure it cant do anything with your luck but atleast you already secure your previous winnings .  taking a break is also good for your health .

5608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Influence of bounty on: December 29, 2018, 11:01:53 AM
It all depends on the hype and usecase of the project.  Many project with huge hype dont usually need bounty because they already have the hype that bounty can offer

How can a project become hyped if no one discovers  them ?  But they arent forced either to run a bounty because there are lots of advertisement methods available  online and they are much better than running a bounty because anyone can sees them not unlike to bounties that the viewer is only limited because of the number of threads and post here  .

And even if they use ad packs on this forum , the ads wont get easily noticed because not all will be accesing this forum .
5609  Economy / Speculation / Re: FRUSTRATED AT THE MARKET. on: December 29, 2018, 09:05:06 AM
Yes. Green days is just like 6 months and the red days is a year now and still counting. Its really frustrating knowing that we cant see a visible sign of a green market comming. The price continues to drop and holders continue to turn negative. In this times we need to be more optimistic and trust bitcoin hard.

No .   based on what i see .  the green days can only last for about one to two days but the red day are going for almost a year now  though the signs of recovery is still there  .

i can feel it , i can feel that the price can continue to go upwards but there is just something that holds it .  this is the reason why im feel frustated but i cant do anything other than continue hodling .

Its just few days anyway and after that , we can now expect a new movements from cryptos
5610  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin: fixed or not on: December 29, 2018, 03:51:09 AM
Will Bitcoin grow actively before New year? Will it have time to overcome 4500?
How exactly do we know that when all the predictions have been wrong recently? I have seen some say that it will go as low as $2k and if that’s true, then there won’t be any bull this year for sure, cause before it drops to that the year would have ended and we will be in new year. But I do hope that it picks up, I don’t really want it going that low.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with the price dropping to that extent. If it’s accurate, then for sure there is going to be a big bull, much bigger than what experienced last. And you are right, most of the predictions this were, even some said the price will be $15000 before December ends but I’m still not seeing anything. If it does go down to $2k then there is going to be a big bull. Just continue to Hodl, that’s if you want.

so do you think this is only a normal phenomenon ?  for me i think its not  .  its not normal anymore to see a price decline for almost a year  because the first drop did happen on january 2018 and it continues up until today    .  predictions that you are talking about is not also accurate because they were only predictions anyway which means they arent guarantee to happen for real   , so dont assume to much  because you will only get disapointed at the end  .
5611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using bitcoin without internet on: December 28, 2018, 11:49:11 AM
Yes, you can use bitcoin without internet. You just download a dekstop wallet for holding your bitcoin. After download you can use your bitcoin without internet. Bitcoin using without internet is really so amazing for us. Some people thought it is not possible to use bitcoin without internet. But it is really possible.

We know that, there are many place in the world where internet not working properly. So this technology you can use in those area. You can use your bitcoin without internet.

Best regards
Coin-Desk

cool . do you know the name of that software ? if yes can you please share it to us so that we can also experience what you already had.  i live in the area where internet is accesible but the problem is that the data charges on our country is so expensive  .  using bitcoin offline can be a good solution to our problems  but it might take a long wait for that to  be implemented because the adoption of bitcoin is not yet a widespread and many countries do still restricts the use of it .
5612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not invest in ICO anymore. Do not Feed scammers on: December 28, 2018, 09:29:45 AM
I guess the most biggest problem, is that people don't read where they invest in. They see on a picture and on an answers on a web. Nowadays it's not very hard to find real or fake ICO. Most of the people are open. And if you see famous names, that a well known in a blockchain industry, you can easy contact them with a Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin. Also if it's from a big companies. For example already running ICO from a Huobi Russia. And I'm sure in them. Because CEO of Huobi Global confirmed, that it's real their partners. The main thing is to learn and investigate about ICO. Not just look on a first page.

that is easy to say but it is actually hard to do  .  people nowadays are freaking lazy and they can easily get attracted from any promising words that an ico can offer .

Nowadays it's not very hard to find real or fake ICO.

no its not true .  many sites are offering reviews and if this is your source to check whether an ico is legit or not , you are likely to get tricked  .  most of them are getting paid to put fake feedbacks , so youd better not depend on them   .

And if you see famous names, that a well known in a blockchain industry, you can easy contact them with a Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin. Also if it's from a big companies.

but anyone can pretend online  . they can change thier names and pics but they were not trully the real person that your are talking with

the best way to avoid getting scammed by greedy ico's is to stop investing on them   .  we may rather invest onto something that is already trusted , cryptocurrency for example
5613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC is simply just to cheat bounty hunters. on: December 28, 2018, 06:37:51 AM
To my understanding, KYC simply means "Know your customer". Investors(customers) who participate in ICO are made to go through KYC process before they are even allowed to purchase their tokens. On the other hand, Bounty hunters are just "part time workers" of the project and not customers. Even if they will be made to go through a KYC process, it should be before they start working and not after. Waiting for them to finish working for the project and refusing to pay them because they failed to pass KYC afterwards is a total cheat.

I think they did it because they knew it would happen like this, the bounty manager or dev who is like this is a good manager. And I think this will reduce cheating
bounty manager or dev team has their opinion for each rules.indeed about kyc  verifcation, as new project they just preventing if someday local regulator audit their projects.and kyc could be their solution to protect their investors.

thats right . kyc is used to comply for the regulatory policies but at the same time it does also help to prevent multi accounts that can potentially abuse the system  .  by the way i notice that the title of this thread seems wrong .  Re: KYC is simply just to cheat bounty hunters ?  what the op trying to say is kyc helps filter out  bounty cheaters  .

still ,  im not impress about this kyc thing even if it useful on both parties because for me this thing is only a hassel and  i cannot easily join any bounty or an airdrop because of this  .
5614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling vs. "leveraged" trading on: December 28, 2018, 04:24:02 AM

Ill go with gambling . why ? simply because i can easily understand its mechanics and i can start as early as possible even if i only have a small capital .  gambling is also more benficial imo because many sites nowadays do offer jackpots and other goodies .

Leverage trading on the side may seem a bit confusing to me but i know that this one can provide more succesive income than in gambling  .
5615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are these airdrops really worth it? on: December 28, 2018, 02:50:54 AM
I have joined so many bounty campaigns but found nothing. Only those give me some bounty which i cannot exchange. can somebody please suggest me any valid airdrop or bounty campaign which you think really worth our efforts. Huh Huh Huh
You have to identify on which bounty does have really a legit developers so they will pursue the project.

If they will not work for it and they are after the sales, then expect that airdrop or bounty won't succeed.

Not only developers but also on their other infos like for example if the project is compose of legit people/teams  and if their listed adress or contact numbers are correct and working properly but even if you check all of these and found out that the project is real  , there might still a chance that they can be failed  because of other valid reasons .

I have joined so many bounty campaigns but found nothing. Only those give me some bounty which i cannot exchange. can somebody please suggest me any valid airdrop or bounty campaign which you think really worth our efforts. Huh Huh Huh

Do you have any other accounts ? Or this is the one that you used when you apply and join for a bounty ?  Afaik newbie accounts are now restricted to join any campaign but if ever you find one , the pay is still not worth it and you will only get dust .  better to try airdrops as they dont have a rank requirements  .  scout here >>> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0
5616  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it legal to sell bitcoin for cash ? on: December 28, 2018, 12:43:59 AM
no its not only if you are living on a country where cryptos is restricted . you can incure a serious violation if you insist to sell your bitcoins if ever you got caught by the authorities .

however if you are located on a country where btc is fully accepted and have already recognized by the governments then you are always good to go . Bitcoin is a currency and a currency is intended for paying and shopping but bitcoin is special kind of currency where it can also be used on other stuffs not just for trading.
5617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: U.S. Taxes on Bitcoin Gambling on: December 27, 2018, 11:27:38 PM
My understanding of taxes is. if we use existing state facilities in some country and making it our business operate then it should addding rules for users and owners to pay taxes to the state. but if pure online is done and does not use facilities in the area, taxes should not be implemented. CMIIW

No its does not work that way  .   tax can be implemented even if you didnt work on a comercial establishments and  i did hear that there will now be tax for online workers or free lancers and that will be planning to approved soon on our country  .

Bitcoin and cryptos should not be taxed because they are not under the regulation of banks and governments . so anything related to it should be excluded in the tax law  .
5618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's go to Singapore! We can pay with Btc there. on: December 27, 2018, 09:42:48 AM
this is not really new to hear that some country is now accepting btc as payment because even other countries that arent really popular were now also accepting btc or cryptocurrency in general  .

singapore in a nutshell is a pretty cool country and it is also known for thier inovations and now they are even cooler because they are now accepting the use of bitcoin  .  this event can surely help btc to go out of its comfort zone  if ever singapore is serious about pushing bitcoin .
5619  Economy / Economics / Re: A cryptocurrency with volatility can't be used as money on: December 27, 2018, 05:16:02 AM

Why not ? Fiats or the local currencies that we used today is also volatile but not as high as cryptos and even if they are volatile they are still being used as a form of money in order for us to buy goods or pay for someone/something else   .

that scenario is also applicable to cryptos and we are actually already using our cryptos as a payment medium  .

Not just cryptos or fiats but anything that has a value ,  can always be used as a form of money.
5620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the Crypto market collapse on: December 27, 2018, 03:20:44 AM
I do not understand Why many people worry about this if you look at the statistics of past years, you will see that such drops as today have been repeatedly and nothing terrible has happened. Everything has returned to its original position and the market has grown again and brought great profits. We all just have to wait.
You are certainly right, you should not be afraid, it takes time for everything to come to normal, and it is enough to look at the price that was last year, not counting the one that was at the peak, now it is still a high rate of cryptocurrencies
If they will only make a research and study the market, I'm sure they'll understand what is happening right now.
The problem with most of us is that we focus too much with the price action and we tend to forget to look on the development or the adoption side.
If they will do the opposite, then maybe we will not see more people panicking again and price will grow consistently.

We should not worry about the market now, it has happened before and it survive, so why panic.

I tell you what  .  i myself is already aware about the crypro market situation and i know that it is volatile or unstable in other term but sometimes cant controll myself to panic maybe because im scared about the continous drop in the price .

this is not usual and it did not happen before where the market is experiencing a long term bearish trend  .

now back to the question on ' will the market collapse ' ?  Id say yes , the market will always collapse because that is a part of the crypto game but for this year , i think the crash is done .
